Type of seatbelt Features of the seatbelt Notes during use
With ELR
(Emergency Locking
Retractor)
The seatbelt is automatically retracted and
locked by rapid pull in a sudden stop or
collision.
Upon installation, draw the seatbelt out
slowly.
With ALR/ELR
(Automatic Locking
Retractor and ELR)
In addition to the features ELR, ALR locks the
seatbelt when it is drawn out all the way so
that it can only be retracted. The seatbelt is
unlocked when it is completely retracted.
To avoid activating ALR, do not draw the
seatbelt out longer than necessary upon
installation.
For a child from 15 to 36kg weight

accordance with UN (ECE) R16 or other standard of equal level.
• Be sure to use the seatbelt of the vehicle.
Be sure to refer to the owner’s manual for the vehicle for the type and usage of the seatbelt.
