> SAFETY MEASURES
• The 2-in-1 advance lady shaver and
epilator has been designed for body hair
removal. It has not been designed for
commercial use.
• The device complies with all relevant
safety standards. Nevertheless use the
device only in compliance with the safety
information and as described in this
instruction leaflet!
• This device is suitable for both
wet and dry shaving, epilation
and it is splash proof. It can, for
example, be used in the shower;
must not, however, be allowed to
submerge completely in water!
• This device is not intended to be used
by persons, including children, whose
physical, sensory or mental capacity
is impaired, or who lack the necessary

contact with clothing or any other objects

efficient function of the device may also

• Do not use any accessories other that
those recommended by Carmen.
• There is always risk of injury when using
the electrical device improperly!

> SPECIFIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Prearrangement: The device has to be
fully charged.
Connect the main adaptor to the charger
and the device and allow it to charge
for 90 minutes before using it for the

design and type the device can be used
wet and dry.
2. First choose the head of reference. The
lady shaver or the epilator and remove
the protective cover.
3. Press the safety lock button and slide up
the on/off/2 setting speed button to turn
the device on, select speed 1 or 2 (1: fine
hair/2: coarse hair). When pressing the
silver button the speed accelerates.
4. Dry shaving : When dry shaving, make
sure that the skin is washed thoroughly
and is absolutely dry. Use the switch to
turn on the device. Pull your skin taut
using your free hand to make the hairs
lift up. To use in the armpit area stretch
your arm up over your head Guide the
lady shaver smoothly and without undue
pressure over the skin so that both the
first time. A red LED will light up on the
charger to indicate that the appliance is
being charged. When charging is finished
the light will light up green.
• Clean the device after every use!
• Do not use any lotions that contain
alcohol either immediately before or after
shaving.
• To avoid any possible skin irritations do not
press the foil too hard against the skin.
• Only charge the rechargeable battery
when it is almost empty. This will
prevent premature wear and tear of the
rechargeable battery. Do not leave the
charger plugged in all the time.
> DIRECTION FOR USE
1. Before beginning, thoroughly wash
the areas of the body to be shaved, to
remove any traces of personal care

As skin may be more sensitive directly
after epilation, avoid using irritating
substances such as deodorants with
alcohol. Epilate your legs from the
lower leg in an upward direction. When
epilating behind the knee, keep the leg
stretched out straight.
7. Turn the device off and clean the device
with the attached cleaning brush.
> HINTS AND TIPS
• If your hair is long (longer than 1 cm), we
recommend cutting it with scissors or
shaver head before using the epilator.
• After hair removal, we recommend using
a moisturizing mike to soften your skin.

Remove remaining hair from the housing
with the brush. Leave the shaver to dry
and then replace the trimming head or
epilator. Replace the protective cover
before putting the shaver away.
• The shaving parts need to be lubricated
regularly every 3 months. If you clean
the shave head under running water,
lubricate it after each cleaning. Apply
some light machine oil or Vaseline to the
shaver foil and blade.
• Do not shave with a damaged foil.
> CLEANING AND MAINTRANCE
• Clean the device after every use! It can
be cleaned wet or dry.
• Press the device release buttons to
remove the head. Tap the bottom of the
shaver head gently on a flat surface (not
on the foil).
• Dry cleaning : Brush the shaving unit with
the cleaning brush supplied. Also clean
the area under the cutting unit and brush
clean the upper cover. Press the upper
cover back onto the shaver. The housing
can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
Place the protective cover back over the
shaver before putting it away.
• Wet cleaning: Rinse the head under
warm running water. A natural based
soap may also be used provided it
contains no particles or abrasive

This CARMEN device comes with a two (2)-
year warranty to be counted from the date
of purchase under normal conditions of use.
This warranty does not cover damage directly
or indirectly caused by misuse, neglect,
unauthorised use, accidents, unauthorised
repairs or modifications, as well as a lack
of maintenance. Please save your receipt/
invoice as proof of your purchase. This
device’s accessories are not covered by a
warranty. Exclusions from the warranty

> VEILIGHEIDSMAATREGELEN
• Dit geavanceerde 2-in-1 ladyshave en
epileerapparaat is ontworpen voor het
verwijderen van lichaamshaar. Het is niet
ontwikkeld voor commercieel gebruik.
• Het apparaat voldoet aan alle relevante
veiligheidsnormen. Desalniettemin
dient dit apparaat uitsluitend te
worden gebruikt overeenkomstig de
veiligheidsinformatie en de beschrijvingen
in deze gebruiksaanwijzing!
• Dit apparaat is geschikt voor
zowel nat als droog scheren en
epileren en is spatbestendig. Dat
betekent bijvoorbeeld dat het
apparaat gebruikt kan worden
onder de douche, maar niet
volledig mag worden
ondergedompeld in water!
• Het apparaat is niet bedoeld om
te worden gebruikt door personen,
waaronder kinderen, met lichamelijke,
zintuiglijke of geestelijke beperkingen of
een gebrek aan ervaring en kennis, zelfs
niet onder toezicht van of na duidelijke
instructies voor het gebruik door
degene die verantwoordelijk is voor hun
veiligheid.
• Kinderen mogen niet bij het apparaat
kunnen komen en mogen er ook niet
mee spelen.
• Verpakkingsmaterialen, waaronder
plastic zakken, moeten buiten bereik van
kinderen worden bewaard.
• Controleer het product direct na
het uitpakken op beschadiging die
is ontstaan tijdens transport en op
compleetheid. Neem direct contact op
met uw verkoper als de levering niet
compleet of het product beschadigd is.
• U mag het apparaat alleen gebruiken

waarvoor het is bedoeld, dit om
gevaarlijke situaties te voorkomen.
• Voor extra bescherming wordt
aanbevolen een aardlekbeveiliging (RCD)
in uw badkamer te plaatsen met een
nominale uitschakelstroom van maximaal
30 mA. Vraag uw elektromonteur om
advies.
• De voedingsspanning moet
overeenkomen met de spanning die op
het product is gespecificeerd.
• Schakel het apparaat uit als het niet
wordt gebruikt, hoe kortstondig ook.
• Laat het apparaat nooit onbeheerd
achter.
• Bewaar het apparaat op een veilige
plaats om onbedoeld of onveilig gebruik
te voorkomen.
• Gebruik het apparaat nooit als het is
beschadigd. Controleer het apparaat
regelmatig op beschadiging. Reparaties
mogen alleen worden uitgevoerd door
een vakman. Ondeskundige reparaties
kunnen zeer gevaarlijk zijn voor de
gebruiker.
• Neem contact op met de leverancier als
het apparaat is beschadigd om te horen
of u het nog kunt gebruiken.
• Steek de stekker niet in het stopcontact
als:
- het snoer is beschadigd,
- het apparaat zichtbaar is beschadigd, of
- het apparaat is gevallen.
• Oververhitting en geur zijn indicatoren
voor een elektrisch defect.
• Zorg dat het apparaat niet in contact
komt met kleding of andere voorwerpen,
omdat dit tot letsel kan leiden en de
efficiënte werking van het apparaat
aantast.
• Geen andere accessoires gebruiken dan
deze aanbevolen door Carmen.

• Er is altijd een risico op letsel als dit
elektrische apparaat niet correct wordt
gebruikt!
• Stel het apparaat niet bloot aan warmte
(radiator, oven enz.), direct zonlicht of
vocht.
• Houd het apparaat schoon en gebruik
geen schuurmiddelen of producten met
oplosmiddelen.
> SPECIALE VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES
• Voorbereidingen: Het apparaat moet
volledig zijn opgeladen. Sluit de adapter
aan op de oplader en het apparaat en
laat het apparaat gedurende 90 minuten
opladen voorafgaand aan het eerste
gebruik. Er gaat een rood lampje branden
op de oplader om aan te geven dat het
apparaat wordt opgeladen. Zodra het
apparaat is opgeladen, gaat het lampje
groen branden.
• Maak het apparaat na ieder gebruik
schoon!
• Gebruik direct voor of direct na het
scheren geen alcoholhoudende lotions.
• Druk het scheerblad niet te hard tegen
de huid om huidirritatie te voorkomen.
• Laad de oplaadbare batterij alleen op
als deze bijna leeg is. Hiermee wordt
vroegtijdige slijtage van de oplaadbare
batterij voorkomen. Laat de oplader niet
altijd op het stroomnet zitten.
> INSTRUCTIES VOOR GEBRUIK
1. Was, voordat u begint, eerst de gebieden
van het lichaam die u wilt scheren goed
schoon om alle sporen van persoonlijke
verzorgingsmiddelen (bijv. deodorant)
te verwijderen en maak de huid droog
met een handdoek. Afhankelijk van het

hoofd en beweeg de ladyshave rustig
en zonder extra druk over de huid, zodat
zowel de langere als de kortere haren
gelijkmatig worden afgesneden. Gebruik
het apparaat tegen de richting van de
haargroei in.
5. Nat scheren: Dit apparaat is ook geschikt
voor nat scheren, bijv. onder de douche.
Zorg ervoor dat de huid goed schoon is.
Gebruik de schakelaar om het apparaat
aan te zetten. Trek uw huid strak met
uw vrije hand en zorg er daarbij voor dat
de haren rechtop komen te staan. Houd
uw arm bij het scheren van de oksels
uitgestrekt boven uw hoofd en beweeg
de ladyshave rustig en zonder extra druk
over de huid, zodat zowel de langere
als de kortere haren gelijkmatig worden
afgesneden. Gebruik het apparaat tegen
de richting van de haargroei in. De beste
resultaten worden verkregen met gebruik
ontwerp en type van uw apparaat, kan
het apparaat nat en/of droog worden
gebruikt.
2. Selecteer de kop die u wilt gebruiken,
d.w.z. de ladyshave of de epilator, en
verwijder de beschermkap.
3. Druk de veiligheidsvergrendeling in en
schuif de aan/uit/2-snelhedenknop naar
boven om het apparaat aan te zetten en
selecteer snelheid 1 of 2 (1: fijn haar
/ 2: stug haar). Door te drukken op de
zilveren knop kan de snelheid worden
verhoogd.
4. Droog scheren: Zorg er bij droog scheren
voor dat de huid grondig schoon en
volledig droog is. Gebruik de schakelaar
om het apparaat aan te zetten. Trek uw
huid strak met uw vrije hand en zorg er
daarbij voor dat de haren rechtop komen
te staan. Houd uw arm bij het scheren
van de oksels uitgestrekt boven uw

van zeep of scheerschuim. Let erop dat
het apparaat niet volledig in het water
wordt ondergedompeld.
6. Epilator: Maak de huid voor het epileren
goed schoon om restproducten (zoals
deodorant) te verwijderen. Houd bij het
epileren van de onderarm de arm recht
vooruit, zodat de huid strak is en beweeg
het apparaat in verschillende richtingen.
Omdat de huid na epileren gevoelig kan
zijn, raden wij het gebruik van irriterende
middelen, zoals alcoholhoudende
deodorant, af. Beweeg het apparaat bij
het epileren van de benen vanaf het
onderbeen naar boven. Houd het been
recht gestrekt bij het epileren van de
knieholten.
7. Schakel het apparaat uit en maak het
apparaat schoon met het meegeleverde
schoonmaakborsteltje.
> TIPS EN TRICKS
• Bij lang haar (langer dan 1 cm) raden wij
aan het haar eerst te knippen met een
schaar of te scheren met de scheerkop,
voordat de epilator wordt gebruikt.
• Na het verwijderen van het haar raden wij
aan een hydraterende lotion te gebruiken
om de huid te verzachten.
> SCHOONMAKEN EN ONDERHOUD
• Maak het apparaat na ieder gebruik
schoon! Dit kan zowel nat als droog.
• Druk op de ontgrendelknoppen om
de scheerkop te verwijderen. Tik de
onderkant van de scheerkop voorzichtig
op een vlakke ondergrond (niet op het
scheerblad).
• Droog schoonmaken: Maak de
scheereenheid schoon met het

worden ingesmeerd. Als u ervoor kiest de
scheerkop onder stromend water schoon
te maken, moet u de kop na iedere keer
schoonmaken insmeren. Breng een
beetje lichte machineolie of vaseline aan
op het scheerblad en scheermessen.
• Gebruik het apparaat niet om te scheren
als het scheerblad beschadigd is.

Maak daarbij ook het gedeelte onder het
snijvlak schoon en borstel de bovenkap
schoon. Druk de bovenkap op de
ladyshave. De behuizing zelf kan worden
schoongemaakt met een vochtige doek.
Plaats de beschermkap op de ladyshave,
voordat u het apparaat opbergt.
• Nat schoonmaken: Spoel de kop af onder
warm stromend water. Een natuurlijke
zeep kan hierbij gebruikt worden
zolang deze geen deeltjes of schurende
stoffen bevat. Spoel al het schuim af.
Verwijder achtergebleven haar van de
behuizing met behulp van het borsteltje.
Laat de ladyshave drogen en plaats de
scheerkop of de epilator terug. Plaats de
beschermkap terug voordat het apparaat
wordt opgeborgen.
• De onderdelen gebruikt voor scheren
moeten ten minste om de 3 maanden

Beschadigingen die direct of indirect
veroorzaakt worden door verkeerd gebruik,
nalatigheid, onbevoegd gebruik, ongelukken,
onbevoegde reparaties of aanpassingen en
gebrekkig onderhoud vallen niet onder deze
garantie. Bewaar uw aankoopbon/factuur
als bewijs van aankoop. De accessoires bij
dit apparaat vallen niet onder een garantie.
Uitgesloten van garantie zijn:
• Aanpassingen, demontage of aansluiting
op een ander apparaat of een elektrische
montage waardoor het apparaat
beschouwd kan worden als een vast of
semi-vast apparaat;
• Normale slijtage van onderdelen;
• Beschadiging door verkeerd gebruik;
• Beschadiging als gevolg van het niet
nakomen van de gebruikershandleiding of
de onderhouds- en veiligheidsinstructies;
• Beschadiging als gevolg van gebrekkig of
achterstallig onderhoud;
> MILIEU EN AFVAL
Overeenkomstig de Europese Richtlijn
2012/19/EU betreffende afgedankte
elektrische en elektronische apparatuur
(AEEA) is dit apparaat gemarkeerd met
het symbool van een afvalcontainer met
een kruis erdoor om aan te geven dat dit
product niet mag worden afgedankt bij het
huishoudelijke afval. Dit apparaat
moet worden ingeleverd bij een
geschikt afvalinzamelpunt voor
verwerking, verwijdering en recycling
van AEEA (informatie beschikbaar bij
uw gemeente) of worden.

Onder voorwaarde van normaal gebruik wordt
