Safety Tips
• Position on a flat, stable surface.
• A service agent/qualified technician should carry out installation and any repairs if required. Do not
remove any components on this product.
•ConsultLocalandNational Standards to comply with the following:

• Fire Precautions
• IEE Wiring Regulations
• Building Regulations
• DO NOT immerse the appliance in water.
• Some surfaces become hot during operation - take care when using the appliance.
• Always wear suitable protective clothing when using the oven.
• DO NOT allow anything to come in to contact with the heating elements during use.
• Always switch off and disconnect the power supply to the appliance when not in use.
• Not suitable for outdoor use.
• This appliance must only be used in accordance with these instructions and by persons competent to
do so.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made
by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
• Keep all packaging away from children. Dispose of the packaging in accordance to the regulations of
local authorities.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a Caterlite agent or a recommended qualified
technician in order to avoid a hazard.
• When operating the oven keep at least 12cm of space on all sides of the oven to allow for adequate air
circulation
Introduction
Please take a few moments to carefully read through this manual. Correct maintenance and operation of
this machine will provide the best possible performance from your Caterlite product.

Caterlite prides itself on quality and service, ensuring that at the time of packaging the contents are supplied
fully functional and free of damage.

Operation
Temperature Dial
Select between 100C and 230C
Indicator Light
Function Dial
Select type of cooking required
Timer Dial
Counterclockwise turn to "Stay On", (on without Timer).
Clockwise turn to choose desired time (up to 90 minutes)

Before using for the first time, the appliance must be cleaned. To clean the appliance:
1. Wash the accessories and oven interior with warm soapy water and a damp cloth.
2. Place the wire rack and baking tray inside the oven.
3. Close the door.
4. Set the Temperature dial to the highest setting and set the Timer knob to ‘5 minutes’.
5. When the minutes are over turn Off the appliance and disconnect from the power supply.
Allow to cool. The appliance is now ready to use.
Selecting Function
Your Caterlite Oven has 5 individual function settings Depending on requirement turn Function dial to
required setting as listed below -
Upper element heating
Lower element heating
Upper and lower element heating
Upper and lower element heating plus fan
Upper element heating plus fan and rotisserie

Setting the Timer
The Timer knob also acts as the Power switch. When the Timer is set to ‘0’ the power is Off.
1. Connect the appliance to the mains power supply.
2. Set the Timer knob to the required time.
3. The appliance will begin to heat up to the set temperature (see ‘Setting the Temperature’) and the
Power Indicator light comes on.
4. When the Timer reaches ‘0’ an audible alarm sounds and the appliance turns Off.
Stay On Function
For continuos cooking turn Timer dial counter clockwise to STAY ON position
Setting the Temperature
1. Turn the Temperature Control Knob to the required temperature (90°C-230°C).
2. The Temperature Indicator light comes on.
Rotisserie Function
Your Caterlite oven has a rotisserie function. Whole Chicken or meat joints up to a maximum weight of
1.5kgs can be roasted using the rotisserie function.
1. Ensure the baking tray is positioned on the lowest rack to catch dripping fat (line tray with foil to make
cleaning easier)
2. Only use the rotisserie function for poultry and meat joints that have been trussed with butchers
twine.
3. Insert the rotisserie spit through the centre of the Chicken / joint of
meat and secure using the 2 rottiserie skewers (inserting the skewers
at different angles will help secure the food as it rotates)
4. Insert the spit into the rotisserie spit holders on located centrally on
either side of the oven cavity.
5. Set the function dial to
Rotisserie
6. Set the Temperature Dial as
required
7. Set the timer as rerquired or
alternatively set timer dial to
STAY ON setting.
8. Use Rotisserie handle to
remove food when cooked
Note: The Time can be adjusted during cooking if required. Simply adjust the setting as
required using the Timer knob.
Note: When the Oven reaches the set temperature the Temperature Indicator light turns
off.

Cleaning, Care & Maintenance
• Always turn Off the appliance and disconnect from the power supply before cleaning.
• Allow the appliance to cool before cleaning.
• Use warm, soapy water and a damp cloth to clean the exterior of the appliance.
• Dry thoroughly after cleaning.
• A Caterlite dealer or qualified technician should carry out repairs if required.
Troubleshooting
If your Caterlite appliance develops a fault, please check the following table before making a call to the
Helpline.

Electrical Wiring
This appliance is supplied with a 3 pin, moulded, BS1363 plug and lead, with a 13 amp fuse as standard.
The plug is to be connected to a suitable mains socket.
This appliance is wired as follows:
• Live wire (coloured brown) to terminal marked L
• Neutral wire (coloured blue) to terminal marked N
• Earth wire (coloured green/yellow) to terminal marked E
This appliance must be earthed, using a dedicated earthing circuit.
If in doubt consult a qualified electrician.
Electrical isolation points must be kept clear of any obstructions. In the event of any emergency
disconnection being required they must be readily accessible.
