Basic
principles
and
performances
OThe
machinesabsorbheatfrom
the
outdoor
airand
transfer
it
indoors
soasto
heat
the
roomair.
The
heatingcapabilities
through
this
principle
of
heat
pump
go
up/down
with
the
increase/decrease
ofthe
temperatures
ofthe
outdoorair.
OIt
onlyneeds
a
fairlyshorttime
for
such
hotair
circulationsystem
to
raise
the
roomtemperature.

When
the
outdoor
air
temperature
is
verylow,
the
system
canbe
usedtogetherwithotherheatingdevices.
But
good
ventilationshould
be
maintained
to
ensuresafety
and
preventaccidents.
Defrosting
When
the
outdoor
air
temperature
is
very
lowand
humidity
is
veryhigh,frostingwilloccur
tothe
heatexchanger
ofthe
outdoor
unit,
which
has
negativeimpactsupon
the
efficiency
ofthe
heatingperformance.
In
suchcase,
the
automaticdefrostingfunction
willcomeintoplay.
The
heatingoperationwill
be
stopped
for
5-10minutes
todothe
defrosting.
OThe
fans
of
both
the
outdoor
and
indoor
units
are
stopped.
During
the
defrosting
operation,
therun
light
will
flash
slowly.

During
the
defrosting,
the
outdoor
unit
might
generate
some
steam.
Itis
caused
by
fast
defrosting,
which
isnota
performance
failure.

Upon
the
completion
ofthe
defrosting
process,
the
heating
operation
is
resumed.

[Methods

Maintenance]
The
air
conditioner
must
be
turned
off
power
before
the
maintenance

out.
Before
the
season
