USE IN WELL-VENTILATED AREAS
USING THIS APPLIANCE IN AN
INCLOSED SPACE WILL CASUE
DEATH.
DO NOT USE IN CARAVANS, TENTS, MARINE CRAFT,
CARS, MOBILE HOMES OR SIMILAR LOCATIONS.
This appliance must only be used in an above
ground, open air situation with natural ventilation
and without stagnant areas, where gas leakage
and products of combustion are rapidly dispersed
by wind and natural convection.
WARNING! Do use this appliance if it is leaking,
damaged or does not operate properly.
WARNING! Do not install this appliance near
flammable or volatile substances.
WARNING! This appliance is not intended for
the supply of drinking water.
WARNING! Check and confirm safe water
temperature before using this appliance. Water
from this appliance may be very hot.
CAUTION! Accessible parts of this appliance
may be very hot. Keep young children away.
CAUTION! This appliance must be protected
from the rain.
WATER
> Connect the cold water supply hose to the Water
Inlet Valve.
> After connecting, turn the shower head ON/OFF
switch to the ON position.
> Fully open the cold water supply to confirm the
flow of cold water and to check for leaks and
correct leaks as necessary.
GAS
This appliance shall only be used with a refillable
propane LPG cylinder certified to AS2030.1 and the
supplied certified LPG hose and regulator
assembly.
NOTE: Gas cylinder must not exceed 9kg size.
Supplied by Centenary Hire. Ph: (07) 3715 9700
WARNING! It may be hazardous to attempt to fit
other types of gas containers.
> Connect the supplied Gas Inlet Adaptor to the
Gas Hot Water System Gas Inlet Valve.
> Check that seals between the appliance and the
gas container are in place and in good condition
before connecting the gas container. Do not use
this appliance if it has damaged or worn seals.
> Connect the supplied approved 1.5m LPG Gas
Hose with regulator assembly to the Hot Water
System Gas Inlet. Then connect the regulated end
to a 9kg LPG cylinder ensuring that there is no
strain on the cylinder or connections.
> Position the cylinder 1m away from the hot water
system.
CAUTION! Avoid kinking and twisting the gas
hose.
> After the gas inlet is connected, open the gas
supply valve and check for gas leak at all
connections using soapy water or testing solution.
Brush either solution onto the connection points
and look closely for bubbles indicating escaping
gas. If leaks are detected, shut off main gas supply
valve and securely re-tighten connections and then
repeat leak test.
WARNING! Never use a match of flame for leak
detection or in close proximity to the Hot Water
System and/or Gas supply.
> If there is a leak on the appliance (or smell of
gas), immediately turn off the cylinder valve,
remove the appliance to a well-ventilated location
away from any ignition source. Check for leaks
suing soapy water or testing solution.
> To check if the gas cylinder is empty, disconnect
the cylinder from the appliance and shake from
side to side. If there is no sound or movement of
liquid, the cylinder is empty.
WARNING! Flue must not be blocked or
obstructed and clear from adjacent surfaces.
> Move the ON/OFF switch on the shower head to
the ON position. This will allow water to flow freely
through the hot water system once the water is
turned on.

RESTART
SHUT OFF
DRAIN WATER FROM HOT WATER SYSTEM
TEMPERATURE CONTROL
> Adjust the controls of Summer/Winter depending
on the temperature of the inlet water. In cold
conditions use the winter switch and in warm
conditions use the summer switch.
IMPORTANT
> Adjust the controls on the front of the hot water
system so that the Water Regulator is in the MAX
position and the Gas Regulator is in the MIN
position.
> Switch the ON/OFF button located under the hot
water system to the ON position.
> Start the gas supply. Check again for gas leaks
using soapy water and correct as necessary.
> Turn on the water supply. When water pressure
is above 25kpa, the ignition is automatically
executed. You should hear the ignition clicking and
hot water should begin flowing.
Sometimes if there is air in the water or gas supply
lines, you will not get immediate combustion. If this
is the case, turn the water on and off several times
to clear the water and gas lines of any air pockets
that may be present.
WARNING! Check and confirm safe water
temperature before using this appliance. Water
from this appliance may be very hot and may
cause scalding.
> When you use the system for the first time, cold
water should not be turned up too much, in order to
avoid the less pressure by diffluence which will
affect the water heater’s normal running.
> Adjust the water and gas until it’s comfortable.
For higher temperature: turn more gas and less water.
For lower temperature: turn less gas and more water.
> In some places, the water pressure may be too
strong and this water cannot be heated. In this
case, please turn down the water-in valve.
> If the hot water system stops during use, first of
all, switch the shower head to the OFF position or
turn the water supply OFF.
> Wait 5 seconds the switch the shower head to
the ON position or turn the water supply ON and
the system will reignite.
WARNING! Do not touch the water from the
water heater after restart to avoid and scald.
> After use, turn the gas cylinder valve off, wait for
the flame to go out and then switch the appliance
off with the ON/OFF button.
> Do not leave any water in the tank when the
temperature is below 0 degrees or the appliance
will be out of use for a long time. (see Drain Water
From Hot Water System for instructions.)
> It is necessary to empty the tank after using when
air temperature is below 0 degrees or when the
appliance is to be stored for a period of time.
> Loosen the screw in the water drainage valve
and then the water remaining in the tank will flow
out until the water tank is empty.
