Assembly Instructions

all text under subheadings therein
before set up or use of this product.
Assembly
Please refer to the Assembly Diagram on1.
page 4 of this manual when assembling this
Stand.
Mount the Frame on the oor using four lag 2.
bolts (not supplied). The oor must be level,
solid and capable of supporting the weight
of this Stand, the weight of the SKU #66211
Metal Shrinker/Stretcher, your work materials
and the forces you apply during operation.
First position the Frame (1), being sure that3.
there is adequate clearance around it to al-
low for safe operation. Mark the position of
the four holes in the Base on the oor.
Drill four holes for the lag bolts. Be sure that4.
there are no hidden pipes, wires or other
obstructions to drill into.
Install the Frame (1) on the oor using your 5.
lag bolts. Check to be sure it is plumb and
secure before proceeding.
Attach the Swivel Bolt (14) to the Foot Pedal6.
(2) using the Pin (5). Secure the Pin (5) in
place using the Split Pin (10).
Attach the Foot Pedal (2) to the Frame (1)7.
using Bushing (4), two Washers (13) and two
Bolts (11). Position the Swivel Bolt (14) on the
top side of the vertical member of the Frame
(1). Check to be sure the Foot Pedal (2) is
snug and can still freely pivot in the Frame (1).
Insert the Push Rod (3) through the box8.
section of the Frame (1) and thread onto the
Swivel Bolt (14) approximately 1-1/2”.
Thread another of the Swivel Bolts (14) onto9.
the upper end of the Push Rod (3) inserting it
to a depth of approximately 1-1/2”. Attach the
Driving Handle (16) to the upper Swivel Bolt
(14) using the other Pin (5) and secure the
Pin in place using a Split Pin (10).
Thread one Hook (6) into the Foot Pedal (2),10.
and another Hook (6) into the vertical mem-
ber of the Frame (1). Connect the two Hooks
using Spring (7).
Attach Safety Pin (9) to the end of Chain (8)11.
and secure in place with Split Pin (10). Attach
this chain assembly to the Frame (1) using a
Split Pin (10).
With an assistant, attach the SKU #6621112.
Metal Shrinker/Stretcher to the ange at the
top of the Frame (1) using two Bolts (12) and
Washers (13). Check to be sure the 66211
tool is secure and stable.
Insert the end of the Driving Handle (16) into13.

Test the operation of the tool by pressing14.
down on the Foot Pedal (2). It may be neces-
sary to adjust one or both of the Swivel Bolts
(14) to synchronize the operation of the Foot
Pedal (2) of this Stand and the operation
of the Jaws of the the SKU #66211 Metal
Shrinker/Stretcher.
OPERATION
When this Stand and the the SKU #662111.
Metal Shrinker/Stretcher are fully assembled,
you can operate the the SKU #66211 Metal
Shrinker/Stretcher by pressing down and let-
ting up on the Foot Pedal (2) in the same way
you can operate the the SKU #66211 Metal
Shrinker/Stretcher using that tool’s Handle.
When not in use, secure the Foot Pedal (2) in2.
the UP position by inserting the Split Pin (10)
onto a hole in the box section of the Frame
(1) under the Foot Pedal. This will prevent
the Foot Pedal from accidently being pushed
down, which may damage the Jaws of the
the SKU #66211 Metal Shrinker/Stretcher.
