Unpacking and Installation
To avoid damage to the unit, never place it near heat sources such as radiators, in
front of heating vents or in direct sunlight. Keep it away from water.
For Your Safety
When disconnecting the DC power cord from a socket, pull the plug out. Never try to
remove the plug from the socket by pulling the cord. Never handle the DC power plug
with wet hands - this can cause electric shock.
Care and Maintenance for the Unit
• When cleaning the unit, you should rst unplug it from the power supply.
• Use only a dry lint free cloth to wipe the unit.
• Never allow water or any other liquids to get inside the unit while cleaning.
• Unplug the unit if you are not using it for an extended period of time.
WARNING:
• Servicing should be carried out by qualied personnel only.
• To reduce the risk of re or electric shock, do not expose this appliance to rain or
moisture.
• Dangerous high voltages are present inside the unit; do not try to open it.
• To prevent risk of re or electric shock, do not leave any objects lled with liquids,
near the product, such as vases.
• Never put lighted candles near the unit.
CAUTION:
If the plug or the power supply cord needs to be replaced, ensure that the
replacement complies with the manufacturer’s recommendations and specications.

Note: Extend the FM antenna to its full length to get the best possible
reception. It may be necessary to adjust the position of the FM
antenna until you nd the best reception.

Press the MENU button on the remote control to go to the previous
iPod® menu. Press UP/DOWN button on the remote control to select
the next or previous iPod® menu; press ENTER button on the remote
control to enter the selected function.
Press the VOLUME -/+ button to adjust the sound level.
8b. Charging your iPod®
Note: While your iPod® is docked in the system, it automatically
recharges until it is fully charged. Note: that other non-docking
iPod®players will not charge.

Do not attempt to repair the unit yourself.
All repairs should be done by a qualied service technician.

- Make sure the AC adaptor is connected to the
wall outlet and has its own power.
- Disconnect the unit from the power supply for
5 minutes. Reconnect and try again.
- Make sure the function is set to iPod® mode.
- Make sure the iPod® is connected properly.
- Make sure the universal cradle for the iPod®
is tted to the unit.
- Pause mode may be activated; press the
Play/Pause button again.
- Files on the iPod® or MP3 may be corrupted
- Make sure the FM antenna is extended.
- Try rotating the antenna.
- Move the unit away from any other operating
electrical equipment such as motorized
appliances, transformers, televisions, or
microwave ovens.

THE SOURCE WARRANTY
The Source warrants that this product will be free from defects in
materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date
of purchase. Within this period, simply take the product and your proof
of purchase to any The Source store or dealer and the product will be
repaired without charge for parts and labour. The Source reserves the
right to charge for transportation. Any product which has been subject
to misuse or accidental damage is excluded from this warranty.
This warranty is only applicable to a product purchased through The
Source company owned stores and dealers and to a product that is
presented for repair in a country where The Source offers the product
for sale. While this warranty does not confer any legal rights other than
those set out above, you may have additional statutory rights which will
