ChamSys
10Scene Wall Mount
Installation and Configuration Guide
Model: 300-054 & 300-055

Product Overview
The ChamSys 10Scene Wall Mount can be used in conjunction with the QuickQ
Rack or SnakeSys Gateway to allow triggering of 10 Scene’s via its simple front
panel interface.
In it’s out of box configuration the 10Scene wall mount will toggle on/off the 10
Scenes or Executes from the Execute Window of its connected device. Is it
possible in software to change the default configuration to allow the 10Scene to
toggle on/off the 10 playbacks or QuickQ or MagicQ.
When used with a QuickQ Rack the 10Scene Wall Mount buttons duplicate the
functionality of the 10Scene buttons on the front panel of the QuickQ Rack
allowing for remote activation away from the Rack.
Installation
The 10Scene is available as the U.S. fit version (300-054) or EU fit version (300-
055) and fits into a standard U.S. Single Gang or EU Single Gang electrical back
box respectively. 10Scene uses its own 10Scene protocol for communication
between wall mounts and the controller. The recommended installation cable to
be used is standard Cat5e or Cat6 networking cable, the unit is not supplied with
any cable. 10Scene wall mounts are powered over the 10Scene protocol, no
external power supply is required.
System Configuration Options
10Scene wall mounts can be daisy chained together up to 10 per cable run.
QuickQ Rack has 4 10Scene ports, allowing a total of up to 40 10Scene wall
mounts to be connected to the rack. SnakeSys Gateway interfaces have 2 10Scene
ports, allowing up to 20 10Scene wall mounts to be connected to them.

When 10Scene Wall Mounts are first connected to QuickQ Rack or Gateway the front
panel LEDs of each 10Scene will flash briefly indicating the unit is powered and
connected.

10Scene Controls
The front panel interface contains 10 10Scene buttons, these
have dual colour LEDs used to indicate when a Scene has been
stored to a button and when a Scene is active.
When a button LED is Blue this indicates a Scene has been
stored, but is not active, when in Red this indicates the Scene is
active.
Buttons can be labelled using the provided paper legends with
the 10Scene Wall Mounts.
10Scene Programming
10Scene Wall mounts do not hold any programming themselves; they are a remote
trigger for QuickQ Racks or ChamSys systems using the Gateway interface.
For Information on Programming the QuickQ Rack please refer to the QuickQ Manual.
