Connection and Setup
Cable Connections
Before the installation and use, please read carefully the relevant content in “Warning
and Safety instructions”.
NOTE:
When you plug or unplug the TV, computer or other equipments, you must make
sure that the AC power has been already shut down;
When unplugging the power cable or signal cable, please hold the plug (the
insulated part); do not draw the body of the cable.
•LAN: Use a network cable to connect the interface and the broadband network
interface.
•HDMI1/2/3: (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) it provides an uncompressed digital
connection that carries both video and audio data by way of an integrated mini-plug
cable.
•PC: Connect one end of the VGA cable with the VGA port on computer, connect the
other end of the VGA cable with the VGA port on the TV, and tighten the bolts
clockwise on the each end of VGA cable.
NOTE:
While connecting the 15-pin VGA, please do not insert the plug overexertedly, for
fear the pin might be broken.
•ANT: Connect the antenna to TV via coaxial cable on ANT jack of the back panel.
•DIGITAL AUDIO OUT: Sending the TV's digital audio signal to external audio
equipment via the Digital Audio Output port.
•HEAD PHONE ( ): Connect a 3.5mm headphone for personal audio.
•USB2.0: Connect a USB Storage device and multimedia file playback.
•COMPONENT input (YPbPr): Connect a device that has component video jacks,
such as a DVD player.
Y/Pb/Pr (Component Video): They provide good picture quality because the video
signal is separated into three components. Use three video-grade or component video
cables for the connection. When using Y/Pb/Pr, make sure you connect left and right
audio cables to the AV/YPbPr _R/L jacks.
NOTE:
Component and AV inputs cannot be used at the same time since they share one
single audio input.
If COMPONENT (Y,Pb,Pr) and AV works as mini terminal, and shared same audio,
please choose to use a one-to-three audio & video cable.
•AV IN: The output AV terminal of DVD can be connected with the AV input port of the
TV through AV cable.
•AV OUT: The monitoring signal output of the TV set can be used as the signal source.
NOTE:
Connect the AC power cable with 100-240V AC power supply.
The range of power input for the TV is 100-240V~, 50/60Hz, do not connect the TV
power input port with the AC power out of the above range.
Before connecting to an external device, please firstly make sure that the TV set and
the external device have been turned off. When connecting, please make reference
to the interface name and the interface color to connect the signal cable.
The unit has a built-in wireless network card, and can directly receive network signals
from wireless router through WIFI antenna.

Remote Control
Using the Remote Control
When using the remote control, aim it at remote sensor on the television. If there is an
object between the remote control and the remote sensor on the unit, the unit may not
operate.
•Point the remote control at the REMOTE SENSOR located on the television.
•When using this television in a very brightly lit area, the infrared REMOTE CONTROL
SENSOR may not work properly.
•The recommended effective distance for using the remote control is about 7 meters.
Installing Batteries in the Remote Control
1. Open the cover at the back of the 2. Install two AAA size batteries. Make sure to
remote control. match the “+” and “-” ends of the batteries
with the diagram inside the compartment.

Battery Replacement
You will need to install the batteries into the remote control to make it operate following
the instruction below.
When the batteries become weak, the operating distance of the remote control will be
greatly reduced and you will need to replace the batteries.
Notes on Using Batteries:
The use of the wrong type of batteries may cause chemical leakage and/or explosion.
Please note the following:
•Always ensure that the batteries are inserted with the + and - terminals in the correct
direction as shown in the battery compartment.
•Different types of batteries have different characteristics. Do not mix different types.
•Do not mix old and new batteries. Mixing old and new batteries will shorten battery life
and/or cause chemical leakage.
•Replace batteries as soon as they do not work.
•Chemicals which leak from batteries may cause skin irritation. If any chemical matter
seeps out of the batteries, wipe it up immediately with a dry cloth.
•The batteries may have a shorter life expectancy due to storage conditions. Remove
the batteries whenever you anticipate that the remote control will not be used for an
extended period.
•The batteries (battery pack or batteries installed) shall not be exposed to excessive
heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
CAUTION:
•It may result in an explosion if batteries are replaced incorrectly.
•Only replace batteries with the same or equivalent type.

Basic Operation
Powering the TV
■Turn on the TV
•Plug the power cord into a suitable power point, then press the POWER ( ) button,
on the lower side of the back panel (or on the remote control, making sure to aim it at
the sensor at the front of the TV);
■Turn off the TV
•Press the button on the remote control to enter standby mode. To power down the
TV completely, unplugs the power cord from the mains socket.
•Do not leave your set in standby mode for long periods of time. If you will not use the
TV for a long time, it is recommended to unplug the set from the mains and aerial.
Smart Wizard
When the TV is initially powered on, a sequence
of on-screen prompts will assist in configuring
basic settings.
TIPS: Make sure that the antenna or cable TV
system connection is made.
■Set you desired language.
Press the ▲/▼ buttons to select the Menu
Language, and then press the OK button.
Press the ► button to select “Next” to go to
the next step.
■ Scan the QR code.
Please scan the QR code to download

and then press the OK button.

Mode or Store Mode and then press the OK

•Home is the recommended setting to
produce the best energy efficiency. If you want
to set Store Mode, a message appears asking
you to confirm your choice.
Press the ► button to select “Next” to go to the next step.
Press the ◄ button to select “ ” to go to previous step.
■ Network connection (Wired or Wireless)
Press the ▲/▼ buttons to select “Wired” or
“Wifi”, and wired or wireless network is
enabled respectively. (For more details on
connection, please refer to the “Network
settings”.)
NOTE: If you select skip the network
connection, follow the menu prompt to operate, the TV will begin automatically scans
and store all available channels.
■ Selecting the programme tuning modes.
Press the ▲/▼ buttons to select the tuning
modes and then press the OK button.
Press the ► button to select “Next” to go to
start the auto searching. (The TV will begin
memorizing all of the available Channels)
■ The TV starts Auto Tuning.
NOTE:
•If the TV doesn't receive any channels, please check your aerial
connection or the country you selected, and then try an auto search
again.
•If the TV just receives some of the channels, it means the aerial's
reception isn't good enough and an antenna service is recommended.

Channel Selection
■Using the CH /CH on the panel of TV or on the remote control.
Press P to increase channel number.
Press P to decrease channel number.
■Using 0- 9 Digital Buttons.
You can select the channel number by pressing 0 to 9. Example:
To select - channel (e.g. Channel 5): Press 5.
To select -- channel (e.g. Channel 20): Press 2 and 0 in a short time.
Volume Adjustment
■Press the VOL+/- on the panel of TV or + - on the remote control to adjust the
volume.
■If you want to switch the sound OFF, press the .

Changing the Input Source
1. You can select the input source by pressing the SOURCE ( ) button on the remote
control. Then Press the◄/►buttons to cycle through the input source, and press the
OK button to confirm your choice.
2. You can also press HOME( )button to open main scene interface, press▲/▼
buttons to select the Source, then press OK button to enter.
How to Navigate Menus
Please before using the TV follow the steps below to learn how to navigate the menu in
order to select and adjust different functions. The access step may differ depending on
the selected menu.
Press MENU( ) button to display the main OSD menu;
Press the ▲/▼buttons to cycle through the main menu.
Press the OK/► button to access the menu of the next
level.
Press the ▲/▼buttons to select desired sub item, and
then press OK/►to enter the submenu.
Press the◄/►/▲/▼buttons to select the preferred value.
The adjustment in the OSD may differ depending on the
selected menu.
You can press OK button to save and press the BACK( )
button to return back to the previous menu page.
Press the MENU ( ) button to exit the entire menu.
NOTE:
When an item in MENU is displayed gray, it means that the item is not available or
cannot be adjusted.
Buttons on the TV have the same function as corresponding buttons on the remote
control. If your remote control is lost or couldn‟t work, you may use the buttons on the
TV to select menus. This manual focuses on operation of the remote control.
Some items in the menus may be hidden depending on modes or signal sources
used.
The On Screen Display may be different from your TV. Images are an example to
assist with the TV operation.

Picture Mode
■Picture Mode: You can select the type of picture which best
corresponds to your viewing requirements.
Press▲/▼ buttons to select Picture Mode, then press OK/►
button to enter and press▲/▼buttons to select.(Available
Picture Mode : Standard / Vivid / Home / Mild /User)
- Standard The most general screen display status.
- Vivid Strengthen the contrast, brightness, color and
sharpness for vivid picture.
- Home Backlight brightness level is reduced to save
energy.
- Mild To make users feel the softer TV picture.
- User User-defined picture settings.
TIPS:
You can press P.MODE button on the remote control and OK button to change the
picture mode directly.
Aspect Ratio
■Aspect Ratio: You can select and change the picture size
according to your preferences.
Press ▲/▼ buttons to select Aspect Ratio, then press OK/►
button to enter and press ▲/▼buttons to select.
NOTE:
With different signal sources or different signal formats, the
“Aspect Ratio” menu can have different options.
Do not set the picture mode (picture size) to 4:3 for a long time,
so as to avoid reducing the service life of the screen.
Sound Mode
■ Sound Mode: You can select a sound mode to achieve ideal
sound.
Press▲/▼ buttons to select Sound Mode then press OK/►
button to enter and press▲/▼buttons to select. (Available
Sound mode: Standard / Music / Movie/ Sport/ User).
- Standard Produces a balanced sound in all
environments.
- Music Optimizes sound for listening to music.
- Movie Optimizes sound for watching movies.
- Sport Optimizes sound for watching sports events.

Option Menu
Press▲/▼buttons to select Option and then press OK/►to enter the submenu.
NOTE:
With different signal sources or different signal formats, the
“Option” menu can have different options.
■OverScan (In DTV mode): The picture reproduction rate is
adjusted.
■AD Switch (In DTV mode): This is an auxiliary audio
function that provides an additional audio track for visually
challenged persons. This function handles the Audio Stream
for the AD (Audio Description), when it is sent along with the
Main audio from the broadcaster. Press the OK buttons to
select on or off.
■Dtv<--->Radio (In DTV mode): Press to interchange Radio and DTV programs when
there is Radio program.
■Audio Languages: Press the ▲/▼ buttons to select your preferred audio language
(only available in DTV mode).
■Audio LangⅠand Audio LangⅡ: Press the ▲/▼ buttons to select Primary and
Secondary Audio Language (only available in DTV mode).
■ Subtitle Languages: Press the ▲/▼ buttons to select your preferred subtitle
language (only available in DTV mode).
■ Subtitle LangⅠand Subtitle LangⅡ: Press the ▲/▼ buttons to select Primary and
Secondary subtitle Language (only available in DTV mode).
■Subtitle: Switches subtitles on or off. (The program you are watching must support
subtitles).
■ MTS (In ATV mode): Select between the NICAM modes.
■ PC Mode (In HDMI mode): When it is set to “On”, the TV set is
more suitable to be used as a monitor (valid only in the VESA
mode of the HDMI channel).
■Game Mode (In HDMI mode): Switch the Game Mode on or off.
When connecting to a game console such as PlayStation™ or
Xbox™, you can enjoy a more realistic gaming experience by
selecting game mode.
■ HDMI EDID (In HDMI mode): Switch EDID Version, select
EDID2.0 when source signal is transferred by HDMI2.0

the submenu. The HDMI CEC system can be used only with

HDMI CEC device using an HDMI cable. Some HDMI cables
may not support HDMI CEC functions.
–Device List: Display devices that are connected to TV.
–HDMI CEC: Switch the HDMI_CEC function on or off.
–Auto Standby: Switch the Auto Standby function on or off.
–ARC: Switch the ARC function on or off.
–Auto Power On: Switch the Auto Power On function on or off.
■ PC Settings (Valid only in the VGA channel)
–Auto Adjust: To adjust the all PC setting automatically.
–H.Position: To adjust the horizontal placing of the image.
–V.Position: To adjust the vertical placing of the image.
–Phase: To adjust the internal signal phase.
–Size: To adjust the screen size.
Channel Menu
Before your TV can begin memorizing the available channels, you must specify the
type of signal source that is connected to the TV (i.e. an Antenna or a Cable system).
If the set signal type is wrong, it is possible that no channel can be found.
■ Antenna Type (in DTV mode)
Press▲/▼buttons to select Antenna type and then press
OK/►to enter the submenu.
Press the▲/▼buttons to select Air or Cable.
■ Auto Tuning
Press the OK/►button to enter Auto Tuning menu.
Antenna Type is Air:
–Tune Type: Press the ◄/► buttons to select tune type.
(DTV, DTV + ATV, ATV.)
–Country: Press the ◄/► buttons to select the correct
country.
–Service Type: Select the channel type to memories.
–Scan Mode: Select Free, All, or Encrypted channels to
store.
–LCN: Select the LCN functions on or off.
–Search: Press the OK button to start the auto searching.

–Frequency: This option is only available in the Quick Scan

–Network ID: Press the ◄/► buttons to set the Network ID.
–Search: Completion of the above settings and press the OK button to start the auto
searching.
■ DTV Manual Tuning (in DTV mode): Tuning the digital channel manually.
Press ▲/▼to select DTV manual Tuning and then press OK/►button to enter the
sub-menu.
Antenna Type is Air:
1. Press the ◄/► buttons to select channel.
2. Press the ▼ button to select Search, and press the OK
button to start channel tuning. When a channel is found,
the searching process will stop; the channel will be saved
with current channel number.
Signal Strength: Display the strength of the signal of the
channel.
Signal Quality: Display the quality of the signal of the
channel.
Once the progress bar is full, the found channels will be
stored and the unit will proceed to the search for DTV,
Radio and Data.
Antenna Type is Cable:
Frequency: Press the ◄/► buttons to set the frequency.
Modulation: Press the◄/► buttons to select Modulation: Auto

Storage To: Store the searched channel (you can adjust the
channel number by◄/►).
Current CH: Select the current channel.
Sound System: Select the sound system.
Fine Tune: Adjust the frequency of the channel finely.
Left Search: Press the OK button to search up from the
current frequency.
Right Search: Press the OK button to search down from the
current frequency.
Press the ▲/▼ button to select Save, and press the OK
button to save it.
■Audio Standard: Set sound system for local programs (only
available in ATV mode).
■ Dynamic Rescan (In DTV mode): Switch the Dynamic
Rescan function on or off.
■ Programme Edit: Press▲/▼buttons to select Programme
Edit and then press OK/►to enter the submenu.
First press the ▲/▼buttons to select the channel that you
want to skip, delete, move and edit favorite then press OK to
assign (√) mark for unwanted channel.
NOTE:
When LCN are set to on, the Swap function is available.

■ Signal Information: Display the current Signal Information.
PVR Function Operation Instruction
Preparing
1. First, insert your USB memory device into the USB port.
2. Press MENU ( ) button to display the main OSD menu; then press ▲/▼ buttons
to highlight PVR File System (In DTV mode), and press the OK button to enter the
submenu.
Setting
–Record List: Shown the list of recorded programs.
–Select Disk: Select a disk used for PVR.
• Some models have two USB input and several disk can
be used when two USB devices are plugged in.
–TimeShift Size: You can select the memory size for Time
Shift function.
–Format Start: Format your USB drive.
NOTE:
• Before formatting, please back up all important files.
• During the device formatting, do not disconnect the device
or turn off the power. If your USB device can't be formatted
or fail to be checked by the system, it means the device isn't
compatible with the TV or is damaged. The larger USB device will take longer time
to format please be patient until the formatting finishes.
–Speed Check: Press the OK/► button to check the speed of the storage device.
Recording
There are two types of recording: Instant Recording and Schedule Recording.
Instant Recording can record the current TV programmes, while Schedule Recording
can start at a specified time and record the TV programmes automatically on the day,
time and duration you choose.
–Instant Recording
1. When you watching a program in DTV mode; then press
button on the
remote to start recording directly. A pop up window will appear.
2. It will keep recording until (stop) button is pressed or the memory is full.
