Operation
1. Measure the desired amount of rice using the measuring cup
supplied
2. Rinse rice thoroughly in a dish other than the pan of the cooker
3. Pour the rice into the inner pan. To ensure evenly cooked rice,
spread evenly around the pan. Add the correct amount of water by
using the waterline inside the pan.
Measurement Guide for water and rice
One cup of rice measure 0.18L (150g).
Use waterline inside the pot as cooking guide. The right line
corresponds to liters of water, and the left line corresponds to
cups of rice.
Never add water higher than maximum waterline.
4. Place the inner pot inside the cooker and ensure the pot is properly
fit into the heater plate. Level the rice.
Note: Ensure there is no rice or moisture on the outside of the inner
pan
5. Close the lid until it locks
6. Connect the rice cooker to the power.
7. Press down the switch knob. The “cook” light will turn ON and rice
will start to cook.
If the switch knob fails to stay down, the “warm” light will turn
ON, the rice will not be cooked.
8. When cooking is finished the switch knob will be automatically
moves to “warm” position. Keep the lid closed for about 15 minutes
for best results.
9. Carefully open the lid, allowing any steam and condensation to run
back into the rice cooker.
10. Stir the rice and serve as soon as possible.
11. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply
Tips to Keep Cook Rice Warm and Tasty
1. To ensure the best outcome, wash rice thoroughly before cooking.
2. To prevent dry, discolored and unpleasant effect of the cooked
rice, keep lid perfectly closed.
3. Do not leave the rice spatula or anything inside the inner pot during
keep warm cycle.
How to Remove the Condensation Collector
Cleaning and Maintenance
1. Always switch off and disconnect from the power supply before
cleaning.
2. Allow the unit to cool before cleaning.
3. Condensation collector, inner lid, spatula, and inner pot are
washable with soap and water.
4. Clean the exterior of the rice cooker with a damp cloth.
5. Do not immerse the unit in water or in any other liquid.
6. Always keep the bottom of the inner pot and the heater’s plate
clean.
7. The inner pot of the rice cooker is TEFLEX coated. To avoid
scratches do not use abrasive cleaners and use only the supplied
spatula.
