HANDS-FREE START
The vehicle is equipped with Hands-Free Start, which will automatically start the vehicle.
The Remote Keyless Entry transmitter (key fob) must be in the passenger cabin to power
on the vehicle.
STARTING THE VEHICLE – POWER ON
Enter the vehicle and close the driver’s door.
Buckle the seat belt and press the brake pedal.
The vehicle will power on automatically.
When the vehicle is ready to be driven, the
READY icon will appear on the cluster display.
Note: If the key fob battery is weak, place the key fob on
the key icon in the storage compartment at the front of the
center console to enable the vehicle to start. Replace the
key fob battery as soon as possible.
STOPPING THE VEHICLE – POWER OFF
With the vehicle in Park, unbuckle the seat belt and open the driver’s door. After exit-
ing the vehicle and closing the door, the vehicle will power off automatically.
To turn off the vehicle manually, with the vehicle in Park, select the OFF icon on the
infotainment screen below the Volume knob.
POWER ON AFTER DRIVER EXIT
To keep the vehicle on after a driver exit, shift to Park and then select the Extend
Mode icon on the infotainment screen. The vehicle will remain on for a set time dis-
played on the infotainment screen.

ELECTRONIC PRECISION SHIFT
The drive unit is electronically controlled using
the shift lever on the right side of the steering
column. The selected position is illuminated in red
on the lever and is shown on the cluster display.
The driver’s seat belt must be buckled to shift the
drive unit.
Park – Press the P button on the end of the lever
to shift into Park.
Reverse – Press the brake pedal and then pull the
lever toward you and up to shift into Reverse.
Neutral – Press the brake pedal and then pull the lever toward you and hold briefly to
shift into Neutral.
Note: The vehicle will not stay in Neutral for an extended period. It will automatically shift into Park.

Drive – Press the brake pedal and then pull the lever toward you and down to shift
into Drive.
