Introduction:
Many Chrysler owners with Sirius Radio and/or E ternal CD
Changers will be pleased to know that it is no longer necessary to
disconnect these options in order to connect an au iliary device.
Connecting an Au iliary adapter to most cars requires disconnecting
the Satellite Radio or e ternal CD Changer**

Remove Chrysler Radio from dashboard to gain access to the
connector. (Vehicle specific radio removal instructions are not
part of this guide, but may be available upon request)
1. Once radio has been removed, disconnect the factory 10-
way plug (See Fig. 1

2. Connect the factory 10-way plug removed in step 1 to the 10-
way connector on the adapter harness (See Fig.

the adapter harness to the 10-way connector on the Radio
4. Carefully route the audio jack (See Fig. 4

the dash or nearby panel where it will be mounted (within
3.5 ft.) The location will vary based on vehicle and
customer’s preference.

5. Drill a ¼” hole in the dash, push the au jack threated end
through the hole and tighten the nut (See Fig. 5

Warning! Should you decide on securing the jack, make sure the panel is at
least 1/8” thick for the threads on the jack to protrude and engage the nut.
(If necessary use a dremel to grind or thin the panel) Drilling a hole to
secure the jack is not necessary but doing so makes for a stock look and
easier to plug/unplug audio device.

1. Turn the Radio “ON”

Press the “MODE” button to enter Sirius or CD Changer

3. Connect audio device to 3.5mm jack using the included 3 ft.

4. Locate a song on audio device and hit play Sirius /CD
Changer Playback.

5. Use the radio volume control button to set the playback level.
To reduce distortion we recommended setting the audio
device volume level to 50% or less

Warning! Playlist and Track selection is *NOT* possible from the
Chrysler Radio. Use the audio devices built-in controls to access
audio files.

6. To listen to Sirius Radio or Remote (e ternal) CD Changer,
simply disconnect the 3.5mm audio cable from the jack and
operate Sirius Radio/ CD Changer as customary
7. If correct operation is confirmed go ahead and reinstall the
Radio.
