This document describes the release of the FSII-BASE-II product family

Issues addressed in this release
Beltpack input/output gain not properly re-applied after beltpack power cycle
Audio level overridden when applying change to role
MV] shown on keyset even if only one role is selected
Stuck cross-point when removing yourself from a group
Log file over-run fixed
FSII-BASE-II USB - If I plug in an already registered beltpack it disconnects and may connect to a
different system on power cycle
Unable to press/unpress talk/call when in front panel menu

Reason for change from v1.0 to v1.1
Beltpacks continued to receive audio from the 4W interface after deleting the role.

FSII-BASE-II
FreeSpeak II Digital license-free wireless base station with XLR-4M headset connector. Supports
up to 25 Beltpacks and 10 antennas. (Two antennas can connect to the base station directly or up
to 10 antennas can be connected by using two x PD2203 splitters) The base station has
connections for four 2-wire party-lines (CC or RTS) with auto nulling, and four 4-wires plus a
dedicated SA output and dedicated program audio input, along with 4 relays.

3Known Issues
This section details those issues that contradict the relevant manuals included in this release. These
issues have not been resolved and are listed here to help you use the system more effectively.
Front panel menu has 'disabled' for forced listen key type in latch area
Brightness display settings under general settings of a role is different to that of the beltpack
Reply Key text on belt pack disappears mid-call when making live updates
No message on the front panel when updating from CCM
Turning the Belt Pack rotary volume (A clockwise, B anticlockwise) at the same time will not
update the volume
Chinese characters do not display on Front Panel
A Re-Registered Beltpack jumps to its old associated role
You can't scroll up and down the Roles menu using up & down arrows or Page Up & Down
When display brightness is set to “Very Low” (the lowest setting, currently) then “Display Dim
Timeout” acts as “Display Off Timeout” instead, while “Display Off Timeout” doesn’t do
anything regardless of the time chosen
Pops heard on the 4Ws and 2Ws when changing between Electric and Dynamic.
You cannot modify system ID on the Base Station
Newly connected antennas goes to the bottom of the list until you come out and re-enter the
monitoring screen
Setting a fixed role from the Front Panel, the beltpack hangs in the connecting state
Power sense stays on when it should be off
Cloning preconfigured role is broken as the cloned role has different key assignment
Beltpack Master Volume adjustment is not consistent on the FSII-1.9 beltpack
Antenna Resets/Frozen after base station Reset or in heavily loaded system
While a beltpack was is receiving a call signal from a channel, unassigned the channel from the
beltpack key and the call key remain inverted till a beltpack reboot
