Dear Customer,
Thank you for purchasing this Combisteel appliance. Before using the appliance for the first time, please read
this manual carefully, paying particular attention to the safety regulations outlined below.
Safety regulations
•This appliance is intended for commercial use only and must not be used for household use.
•The appliance must only be used for the purpose for which it was intended and designed. The manufacturer
is not liable for any damage caused by incorrect operation and improper use.
•Keep the appliance and electrical plug away from water and any other liquids. In the event that the appliance
should fall into water, immediately remove plug from the socket and do not use until the appliance has been
checked by a certified technician. Failure to follow these instructions could cause a risk to lives.
•Never attempt to open the casing of the appliance yourself.
•Do not insert any objects in the casing of the appliance.
•Do not touch the plug with wet or damp hands.
•Danger of electric shock! Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. In case of malfunctions, repairs
are to be conducted by qualified personnel only.
•Never use a damaged appliance! Disconnect the appliance from the electrical outlet and contact the retailer
if it is damaged.
•Warning! Do not immerse the electrical parts of the appliance in water or other liquids. Never hold the
appliance under running water.
•Regularly check the power plug and cord for any damage. If the power plug or power cord is damaged, it
must be replaced by a service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid danger or injury.
•Make sure the cord does not come in contact with sharp or hot objects and keep it away from open fire. To
pull the plug out of the socket, always pull on the plug and not on the cord.
•Ensure that the cord (or extension cord) is positioned so that it will not cause a trip hazard.
•Always keep an eye on the appliance when in use.
•Warning! As long as the plug is in the socket the appliance is connected to the power source.
•Turn off the appliance before pulling the plug out of the socket.
•Never carry the appliance by the cord.
•Do not use any extra devices that are not supplied along with the appliance.
•Only connect the appliance to an electrical outlet with the voltage and frequency mentioned on the
appliance label.
•Connect the power plug to an easily accessible electrical outlet so that in case of emergency the appliance
can be unplugged immediately. To completely switch off the appliance pull the power plug out of the
electrical outlet.
•Always turn the appliance off before disconnecting the plug.
•Never use accessories other than those recommended by the manufacturer. Failure to do so could pose a
safety risk to the user and could damage the appliance. Only use original parts and accessories.
•This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge.
•This appliance must not be used by children under any circumstances.
•Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
•Always disconnect the appliance from the mains if it is left unattended or is not in use, and before assembly,
disassembly or cleaning.
•Never leave the appliance unattended during use.

Special safety precautions
•Be careful not to deform the inner pan and avoid rough handling. Deforming of the inner pan will adversely
affect the cooking and keep warm performance of the cooker.
•Place the appliance on a stable, horizontal and level surface.
•Always put the inner pan in the appliance first before you plug in the electrical power outlet.
•Do not use the inner pan if it is deformed.
•The accessible surfaces of the inner pan may become hot during operation. Always touch the handle only.
•Beware of hot steam coming out of the steam vent during cooking or out of the appliance when you open
the lid. Keep hands and face away from the appliance to avoid the steam.
•Do not cover or obstruct the steam vent.
•Keep the appliance away from any hot surfaces and open flames. Protect the appliance against heat, dust,
direct sunlight, moisture, dripping and splashing water.
•Do not place heavy articles on top of the appliance. Do not place objects with open sources of fire (e.g.
candles) on top or beside the appliance. Do not place objects filled with water (e.g. vases) on or near the
appliance.
•Do not exceed the 5.4L / 30 CUP water level indication on the inside of the inner pan to prevent overflow.
•Let the appliance cool down completely before storing or cleaning.
•Only use the supplied rice scoop, a plastic or wood scoop to take rice out of the appliance. Avoid to use
metal scoop as this might damage the coating of the inner pan.
•Do not leave the rice scoop or other objects in the inner pan while keeping warm function is active.
•Do not use the “keep warm” function for warming up cooked rice.
•For safety purpose, do not use “keep warm” function for more than 12 hrs or overnight. This function is just
for temporarily or short time of keeping warm only.
Intended use
•The appliance is intended for professional use and can be operated only by qualified personnel.
•The appliance is designed only for rice cooking and keeping the temperature of the cooked rice. Any other
use may lead to damage of the appliance or personal injury.
•Operating the appliance for any other purpose shall be deemed a misuse of the device. The user shall be
solely liable for improper use of the device.
Preparations before using for the
first time
•Check to make sure the appliance is undamaged.
In case of any damage, contact your supplier
immediately and do NOT use the appliance.
•Take out all the accessories such as measuring
cup and rice scoop. Remove all the packing
material and protection film (if applicable).
•Clean the parts of the appliance thoroughly
before using for the first time (See “Cleaning and
maintenance” session).
•Place the appliance on a level and steady
surface, unless mentioned otherwise.
•Make sure there is enough clearance around the
appliance for ventilation purposes.
•Position the appliance in such a way that the plug
is accessible at all times.

How to keep cooked rice warm and tasty?
•Keeping cooked rice warm or using the ‘Keep Warm’ function for more than 5 hours may cause
discolouration or generate an objectionable odour. The sooner rice is served, the better it will taste.
•There is a minimum quantity of rice to keep warm. When using the keep warm cycle, be sure you have at
least 4 bowls full or 6 bowls full of cooked rice in the pan.
•To prevent a dry, discoloured effect and objectionable odour of the cooked rice, keep the outer lid perfectly
closed after serving rice.
•Do not leave the rice scoop or other utensils in the pan during the keep warm cycle.
•Do not use the keep warm feature to reheat leftover cold rice.
Moisture collector
Detaching of the interception tank:
•Grab both sides of the interception tank and pull.
Attaching of the interception tank:
•Insert the upper edge into the cannelure of the
interception tank and press it on.
After every use the water drop-interception tank should
be detached and emptied!
Precautions
•The appliance does not function if the pan is not in the
cooker.
•Always keep the bottom of the pan clean and dry. Any
residues between the bottom of the pan and the heater
will cause the cooker to malfunction.
•Do not attempt to press the switch by force if the switch
button cannot be pressed in the cooking position. The
switch normally remains in that position when the pan is
not in the cooker or just after cooking has been
completed.
•The appliance should be placed on a stable surface. Do not
expose to water, steam or direct heat.
•Do not cover the lid with anything when the rice cooker is
in use.
•Do not use the pan directly on open fire.
•Do not immerse the cooker in water and avoid putting the
cooker near fire.

How to cook rice
1. Measure rice with the measuring cup. Wash rice in another bowl until water is relatively clear. Bran may give
an unpleasant odour to cooked rice. Wash rice thoroughly and quickly to effectively remove the bran.
2. Caution! Do not fill rice and water over the 30 cups (or 5.4L) that marked in the inner pan to avoid spillage.
Note: The markings represent the amount of water to be added in relation to the amount of cups rice to be
cooked. E.g. If you add 20 cups (or 3.6L) of rice in the inner pan, fill water until the marking “20”. For more
or less rice, fill water according to the markings into the inner pan.
3. Wipe dry & place the pan in the rice cooker. Ensure the pan is directly in contact
with the heating plate by turning it slightly form the right to the left until it fits
properly. Wipe dry the outside of the pan before use. A wet pan may cause
cracking noise while cooking and may damage the unit.
4. Close the lid until it clicks. If the lid is not closed securely the cooking result will
be effected.
5. Attach the power cord to the cooker and then connect it to the power supply.
Press down the switch. The red ‘Cooking’ light will light to indicate the start of the
cooking process.
6. When the rice is ready, the switch will pop up. ‘The Keep Warm’ indicator will light up to indicate that the
‘Keep Warm function’ has started.
7. After the switch button pops up: leave the lid for at least 15 minutes on the
appliance to steam the rice. The rice will be fluffier.
8. Press the button for opening the lid and then open the lid.
9. Scoop and mix the rice well with the supplied scoop or a wooden or plastic scoop. Do not use metal scoop.
10. After taking some rice, close the lid and keep the rice warm. If you want the rice to cool down a little, open
the lid and unplug the power cord from the power outlet to leave the rice for cooling in the inner pan.
11. This rice cooker is suitable for up to maximum 30 cups (180 ml) of dry rice.
Attention! During the cooking process, hot steam escapes from the steam vent. Danger of scalding!
Do not cover the appliance during use with a cloth or other objects.

Cleaning and maintenance
•Always remove the plug from the socket before cleaning the appliance.
•Beware: Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid!
•Clean the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth (water with mild detergent).
•Never use aggressive cleaning agents or abrasives. Do not use any sharp or pointed objects. Do not use
petrol or solvents! Clean with a damp cloth and detergent if necessary. Do not use abrasive materials.
•Clean the ventilation slots (if applicable) with the vacuum cleaner.
•Let the appliance cool down before cleaning.
•Remove the pan and the lid from the cooker and clean them with water and mild dish washer. Rinse
thoroughly dry with a soft cloth.
•Inner pan is not dishwasher resistant.
•If in any case grains of rice or other residues may stick to the heating plate, these must be removed to
prevent improper cooking. To remove the cooked rice at the heating plate you may use soft steel wool. Then,
smooth out and polish the spot for good contact between the heating plate and the bottom of the pan.
Improper cleaning of the rice cooker may cause unpleasant odours.
•Any residue of vinegar or salt may cause the pan coating to corrode.
•When serving rice, be sure to use a plastic or wooden rice scoop (supplied by Combisteel). Do not use a
metal scoop, spoon, spatula, nor place spoons, fork, rice bowls etc. in the pan.
•The non-stick coating may discolour after repeated uses, but it will not affect the non-stick properties.

Troubleshooting
If the appliance does not function properly or if the quality of the cooked rice is not sufficient. This may be
probably due to the different kinds of the rice. Consult the table below. If you are unable to solve the problem,
please contact the supplier/service provider.

Warranty
Any defect affecting the functionality of the appliance which becomes apparent within one year after purchase
will be repaired by free repair or replacement provided the appliance has been used and maintained in
accordance with the instructions and has not been abused or misused in any way. Your statutory rights are not
affected. If the appliance is claimed under warranty, state where and when it was purchased and include proof
of purchase (e.g. receipt).
In line with our policy of continuous product development we reserve the right to change the product, packaging
and documentation specifications without notice.
Discarding & Environment
When decommissioning the appliance, the product must not be disposed of with other household waste. Instead,
it is your responsibility to dispose to your waste equipment by handing it over to a designated collection point.
Failure to follow this rule may be penalized in accordance with applicable regulations on waste disposal. The
separate collection and recycling of your waste equipment at the time of disposal will help conserve natural
resources and ensure that it is recycled in a manner that protects human health and the environment. For more
information about where you can drop off your waste for recycling, please contact your local waste collection
company. The manufacturers and importers do not take responsibility for recycling, treatment and ecological
disposal, either directly or through a public system.

Veiligheidsinstructies
•Onjuiste bediening en verkeerd gebruik van het apparaat kan ernstige schade aan het apparaat en
verwonding van personen tot gevolg hebben.
•Dit apparaat mag alleen worden gebruikt voor commerciële doeleinden en mag niet worden gebruikt voor
huishoudelijk gebruik.
•Het apparaat mag alleen worden gebruikt voor het doel waarvoor het werd ontworpen. De fabrikant
aanvaardt geen enkele aansprakelijkheid voor schade als gevolg van onjuiste bediening en verkeerd gebruik.
•Zorg dat het apparaat en de stekker niet met water of een andere vloeistof in aanraking komen. Mocht het
apparaat onverhoopt in het water vallen, trek dan onmiddellijk de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat het
apparaat controleren door een erkend vakman. Niet-naleving hiervan kan levensgevaar opleveren.
•Probeer nooit zelf de behuizing van het apparaat te openen.
•Steek geen voorwerpen in de behuizing van het apparaat.
•Raak de stekker niet met natte of vochtige handen aan.
•Gevaar van elektrische schokken! Probeer het apparaat niet zelf te repareren. In het geval van storingen,
laat reparaties alleen uitvoeren door gekwalificeerd personeel.
•Gebruik nooit een beschadigd apparaat! Als het apparaat is beschadigd, haal de stekker dan uit het
stopcontact en neem contact op met de winkel.
•Waarschuwing! Dompel de elektrische onderdelen van het apparaat niet onder in water of andere
vloeistoffen. Houd het apparaat nooit onder stromend water.
•Controleer de stekker en het netsnoer regelmatig op schade. Als de stekker of het netsnoer is beschadigd,
moet het worden vervangen door de technische dienst of een soortgelijk gekwalificeerd persoon om gevaar
of letsel te voorkomen.
•Zorg ervoor dat het netsnoer niet in contact komt met scherpe of hete voorwerpen en houd het uit de buurt
van open vuur. Als u de stekker uit het stopcontact wilt halen, trek dan altijd aan de stekker en niet aan het
netsnoer.
•Zorg ervoor dat niemand per ongeluk aan het netsnoer (of verlengsnoer) kan trekken of kan struikelen over
het netsnoer.
•Houd het apparaat in de gaten tijdens gebruik.
•Waarschuwing! Zolang de stekker in het stopcontact zit, is het apparaat aangesloten op de voedingsbron.
•Schakel het apparaat uit voordat u de stekker uit het stopcontact trekt.
•Draag het apparaat nooit aan het netsnoer.
•Gebruik geen extra hulpmiddelen die niet worden meegeleverd met het apparaat.
•Sluit het apparaat alleen aan op een stopcontact met de spanning en frequentie die is vermeld op het
typeplaatje.
•Sluit de stekker aan op een stopcontact dat eenvoudig bereikt kan worden, zodat de stekker in geval van
nood onmiddellijk uit het stopcontact kan worden getrokken. Trek de stekker volledig uit het stopcontact
om het apparaat volledig uit te schakelen. Gebruik de stekker om het apparaat los te koppelen van het
lichtnet.
•Schakel het apparaat altijd uit voordat u de stekker uit het stopcontact trekt.
•Gebruik nooit accessoires die niet worden aanbevolen door de fabrikant. Zij kunnen mogelijk een
veiligheidsrisico vormen voor de gebruiker en kunnen het apparaat mogelijk beschadigen. Gebruik alleen
originele onderdelen en accessoires.
•Dit apparaat is niet geschikt voor gebruik door personen (inclusief kinderen) met een verminderd fysiek,
sensorisch of geestelijk vermogen, of gebrek aan ervaring en kennis.
•Dit apparaat mag onder geen enkele omstandigheid worden gebruikt door kinderen.
•Houd het apparaat en het netsnoer buiten bereik van kinderen.
•Kinderen mogen niet met het apparaat spelen.
•Koppel het apparaat altijd los van het lichtnet als het onbeheerd wordt achtergelaten en voordat het
apparaat wordt gemonteerd, gedemonteerd of gereinigd.
•Laat het apparaat nooit onbeheerd achter tijdens gebruik.

Speciale voorzorgsmaatregelen
•Wees voorzichtig dat u de binnenpan niet vervormt en voorkom een ruwe behandeling van het apparaat.
Vervorming van de binnenpan kan een nadelig effect hebben op de kook- en warmhoud prestaties van de
pan.
•Plaats het apparaat op een stabiele, horizontale en vlakke ondergrond.
•Plaats de binnenpan altijd eerst in het apparaat voordat u de stekker in het stopcontact steekt.
•Gebruik de binnenpan niet als deze is vervormd.
•De toegankelijke oppervlakken van de binnenpan kunnen heet worden tijdens gebruik. Raak altijd alleen het
handvat aan.
•Pas op voor hete stoom die uit de stoomuitlaat komt tijdens het koken of uit het apparaat komt nadat u het
deksel opent. Houd uw handen en gezicht uit de buurt van het apparaat om niet in contact te komen met
de stoom.
•Bedek of blokkeer de stoomuitlaat niet.
•Houd het apparaat uit de buurt van warme oppervlakken en open vlammen. Bescherm het apparaat tegen
stof, direct zonlicht, vocht en druppend en spattend water.
•Plaats geen zware voorwerpen op het apparaat. Plaats geen voorwerpen met open vlam (bijv. kaarsen) op
of naast het apparaat. Plaats geen voorwerpen gevuld met water (bijv. vazen) op of in de buurt van het
apparaat.
•Vul de binnenpan maximaal tot de 5,4L / 30 kopjes-markering om overlopen te voorkomen.
•Laat het apparaat volledig afkoelen alvorens het te reinigen of op te bergen.
•Gebruik alleen de meegeleverde rijstlepel of een plastic of houten lepel om rijst uit het apparaat te scheppen.
•Laat de rijstlepel of andere voorwerpen niet achter in de binnenpan als de warmhoudfunctie nog is
ingeschakeld.
•Gebruik de warmhoudfunctie niet voor het opwarmen van gekookte rijst.
•Gebruik de warmhoudfunctie niet voor meer dan 12 uur of de hele nacht. Deze functie is alleen bedoeld
voor om het voedsel tijdelijk of een korte tijd warm te houden.
Beoogd gebruik
•Het apparaat is bestemd voor professioneel gebruik en mag alleen worden bediend door gekwalificeerd
personeel.
•Dit apparaat is uitsluitend bestemd voor het koken van rijst en het vasthouden van de temperatuur van de
gekookte rijst. Elk ander gebruik kan leiden tot schade aan het apparaat of lichamelijk letsel.
•Gebruik van het apparaat voor andere doeleinden wordt beschouwd als verkeerd gebruik van het apparaat.
De gebruiker is volledig aansprakelijk voor alle risico’s die voortvloeien uit verkeerd gebruik van het apparaat.
Voorbereidingen voor het eerste gebruik
•Controleer of het apparaat onbeschadigd is. In geval
van schade, neem onmiddellijk contact op met uw
leverancier en gebruik het apparaat NIET.
•Haal alle accessoires, zoals de maatbeker en de
rijstlepel scoop uit de verpakking. Verwijder al het
verpakkingsmateriaal en beschermfolie (indien van
toepassing).
•Reinig de onderdelen van het apparaat grondig voordat
u het apparaat voor het eerst gebruikt (Zie hoofdstuk
“Reinigen en onderhoud”).
•Plaats het apparaat op een vlakke, stabiele
ondergrond, tenzij anders aangegeven.
•Zorg ervoor dat er voldoende ruimte vrij is rond het
apparaat voor ventilatie.
•Plaats het apparaat zo dat de stekker te allen tijde
bereikbaar is.

Hoe houdt u gekookte rijst warm en op smaak?
•Het warmhouden van gekookte rijst met behulp van de ‘Warmhoudfunctie’ voor meer dan 5 uur kan
verkleuring of een onaangename geur veroorzaken. Hoe eerder de rijst wordt geserveerd hoe beter de rijst
zal smaken.
•Er is een minimum hoeveelheid rijst om warm te houden als u de ‘Warmhoudfunctie’ gebruikt. Zorg ervoor
dat u minimaal 4 volle maatbekers ongekookte of 6 volle maatbekers gekookte rijst in de pan doet.
•Om een droog, verkleurd effect en een onaangename geur van de gekookte rijst te voorkomen na het
opdienen, houdt u de deksel goed op de pan.
•Laat geen rijstlepel of andere keukenaccessoires in de pan, ook niet bij de ‘Warmhoudfunctie’.
•Gebruik de ‘Warmhoudfunctie’ niet om overgebleven koude rijst op te warmen.
Vochtopvangbak
Losmaken van het verzamelvat:
•Pak beide zijden van het verzamelvat en trek.
Het bevestigen van het verzamelvat:
•Plaats de bovenste rand in de gleuf van de opvangbak en druk.
Na ieder gebruik het verzamelvat afnemen en legen!
Voorzorgsmaatregelen
•Het apparaat werkt niet als de pan zich niet in het apparaat bevindt.
•Houd de bodem van de pan schoon en droog. Resten tussen de bodem van
de pan en de verwarmingsplaat kunnen voor problemen in het
functioneren van dit apparaat zorgen.
•Probeer niet om de schakelaar met geweld in te drukken als de schakelaar
niet in de ‘Kookfunctie’ kan worden gezet. De schakelaar blijft normaal
gesproken in die positie wanneer de pan niet in de rijstkoker staat of net
nadat het koken is voltooid.
•Het apparaat moet op een vlakke ondergrond worden geplaatst. Stel het
niet bloot aan water, stoom of directe warmtebronnen.
•Dek de deksel niet af wanneer de rijstkoker in gebruik is.
•Gebruik de pan niet rechtstreeks op open vuur.
•Dompel het apparaat niet in water en vermijd plaatsing vlakbij vuur.

Rijst koken
1. Meet de gewenste hoeveelheid rijst af met de maatbeker. Was de rijst in een andere kom totdat het water
relatief helder blijft. Zemelen kunnen gekookte rijst een onaangename geur geven. Was rijst grondig en snel
om de zemelen effectief te verwijderen.
2. Voorzichtig! Vul de binnenpan met rijst en water, maar zorg ervoor dat het mengsel niet boven de markering
in de binnenpan (30 kopjes of 5,4L) uitkomt om morsen te voorkomen. Opmerking: De markering geeft aan
hoeveel water er in verhouding tot het aantal kopjes rijst moet worden toegevoegd. Bijv. als u 20 kopjes (of
3,6L) rijst in de binnenpan doet, vul de pan dan met water tot aan de markering “20”. Als u meer of minder
rijst gebruikt, vul het water dan volgens de markeringen in de binnenpan.
3. Veeg de pan droog en plaats de pan in de rijstkoker. Zorg ervoor dat de pan
direct in contact staat met de verwarmingsplaat door de pan licht van rechts
naar links te draaien tot de pan goed past. Veeg de buitenkant van de pan droog
voor gebruik. Een natte pan kan een krakend geluid veroorzaken tijdens het
koken en kan leiden tot schade aan het apparaat.
4. Sluit het deksel totdat deze klikt. Als het deksel niet goed is gesloten, heeft dit
invloed op het eindresultaat.
5. Steek het netsnoer in de rijstkoker en sluit het daarna aan op het stopcontact. Druk de schakelaar in.
Het rode indicatielampje ‘rijst koken’ zal oplichten om de start van het kookproces
aan te geven.
6. De schakelaar zal omhoog komen als het kookproces is voltooid. Het indicatielampje
‘warm houden’ zal oplichten om aan te geven dat de warmhoudfunctie is gestart.
7. Nadat de schakelaar omhoog is gekomen, kunt de rijst indien gewenst stomen
door het deksel minimaal 15 minuten gesloten te houden. De rijst zal nu
luchtiger zijn.
8. Druk op de knop voor het openen van het deksel en open daarna het deksel.
9. Schep en meng de rijst goed met behulp van de meegeleverde lepel of een houten of plastic lepel. Gebruik
geen metalen lepel.
10. Sluit het deksel nadat u wat rijst uit de pan heeft gepakt, zodat de rijst warm blijft. Als u wilt dat de rijst een
beetje afkoelt, open het deksel dan en trek de stekker uit het stopcontact. De rijst zal nu afkoelen in de
binnenpan.
11. Deze rijstkoker is geschikt voor maximaal 30 kopjes (180 ml) droge rijst.
Let op! Tijdens het kookproces ontsnapt hete stoom uit de stoomuitlaat. Gevaar voor brandwonden!
Bedek het apparaat tijdens gebruik niet met een doek of andere voorwerpen.

Reiniging en onderhoud
•Trek voordat u het apparaat schoonmaakt altijd eerst de stekker uit het stopcontact .
•Let op: Nooit het apparaat in water of een andere vloeistof onderdompelen!
•De buitenkant maakt u schoon met een vochtig doekje (water met mild reinigingsmiddel).
•Gebruik nooit agressieve schoonmaakmiddelen of schuurmiddelen. Geen scherpe en puntige voorwerpen
gebruiken. Geen benzine of oplosmiddelen gebruiken! Schoonmaken met een vochtige doek en eventueel
afwasmiddel. Geen schurende materialen gebruiken.
•Reinig de eventueel aanwezige ventilatieopeningen met de stofzuiger.
•Laat het apparaat afkoelen voordat u het schoonmaakt.
•Haal de pan en de deksel van de rijstkoker en reinig deze met water en een mild schoonmaakmiddel. Spoel
grondig na en droog met een zachte doek.
•(Binnen)pan mag niet in de vaatwasmachine worden gereinigd.
•Als er toch rijstkorrels of andere etensresten zouden blijven plakken moeten deze worden verwijderd om
verkeerd koken te voorkomen. Om de gekookte rijst te verwijderen mag u zacht staalwol gebruiken. Dan
glad maken en polijsten voor een goed contact tussen de verwarmingsplaat en de bodem van de pan. Bij
onjuiste reiniging kan onaangename geuren veroorzaken.
•Eventuele resten van azijn of zout kunnen corrosie veroorzaken aan de beschermlaag van de pan.
•Bij het serveren van rijst moet u kunststof (meegeleverd) of houten lepels gebruiken. Gebruik geen metalen
lepel, schep, spatel etc. en zet geen vork, rijstkommen etc. in de pan.
•De antiaanbaklaag kan verkleuren na herhaald gebruik maar dit heeft geen invloed op de anti-
aanbakeigenschappen.

Problemen oplossen
Als het apparaat niet naar behoren werkt of als de kwaliteit van de gekookte rijst niet volstaat, kan dit veroorzaakt
worden doordat er verschillende soorten rijst zijn. Is dit niet het geval, dan staan er in de onderstaande tabel
oplossingen voor andere problemen. Als u het probleem niet zelf kunt oplossen, neem dan contact op met uw

Verwijdering & milieu
Bij de buitengebruikstelling van het apparaat, mag het niet met het overige huisafval worden verwijderd. In
plaats daarvan is het uw verantwoordelijkheid om uw afgedankte apparatuur in te leveren bij een daartoe
aangewezen inzamelpunt. Het niet opvolgen van deze regel kan worden bestraft in overeenstemming met de
geldende voorschriften voor afvalverwerking. De gescheiden inzameling en recycling van uw afgedankte
apparatuur ten tijde van buitengebruikstelling helpt bij de instandhouding van natuurlijke hulpbronnen en
waarborgt dat de apparatuur wordt gerecycled op een manier die de volksgezondheid en het milieu beschermt.
Voor meer informatie over waar u uw afval kunt inleveren voor recycling kunt u contact opnemen met uw lokale
afvalverwerkingsbedrijf. De fabrikant en importeurs nemen geen verantwoordelijkheid voor de recycling,

wir danken Ihnen für den Kauf des Gerätes Combisteel. Machen Sie sich bitte mit dieser Anleitung noch vor der
Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes vertraut, um Schäden durch die unsachgemäße Bedienung zu vermeiden. Den
Sicherheitsregeln ist besondere Aufmerksamkeit zu widmen.
Sicherheitsregeln
•Die unsachgemäße Bedienung des Geräts kann zur schweren Beschädigung des Geräts sowie zu
Verletzungen führen.
•Das vorliegende Gerät ist ausschließlich für den gewerblichen Gebrauch bestimmt und darf nicht im
Haushalt verwendet werden.
•Das Gerät ist ausschließlich zu dem Zweck zu benutzen, zu dem es hergestellt wurde. Der Hersteller haftet
nicht für Schäden, die auf unsachgemäße Bedienung des Geräts zurückzuführen sind.
•Den Kontakt des Gerätes und des Steckers mit Wasser oder einer anderen Flüssigkeit vermeiden. Den Stecker
unverzüglich aus dem Stecker ziehen und das Gerät von einem anerkannten Fachmann prüfen lassen, wenn
das Gerät unbeabsichtigterweise ins Wasser fällt. Bei Nichteinhaltung dieser Sicherheitsvorschriften besteht
Lebensgefahr.
•Nie eigenständig das Gehäuse des Gerätes zu öffnen versuchen.
•In das Gehäuse des Gerätes keine Gegenstände einführen.
•Den Stecker nicht mit nassen oder feuchten Händen berühren.
•Gefahr eines Stromschlags! Das Gerät darf nicht selbstständig repariert werden. Sämtliche Mängel und
Unzulänglichkeiten sind ausschließlich durch qualifiziertes Personal zu beseitigen.
•Niemals ein beschädigtes Gerät benutzen! Das beschädigte Gerät vom Netz trennen und sich mit dem
Verkäufer in Verbindung setzen.
•Warnung: Die Elektroteile des Gerätes dürfen weder in Wasser noch in andere Flüssigkeiten getaucht
werden. Ebenso ist das Gerät nicht unter fließendes Wasser zu halten.
•Der Stecker und die Stromversorgungsleitung sind regelmäßig auf Beschädigungen zu prüfen. Der
beschädigte Stecker oder Leitung sind an eine Servicestelle oder einer anderen qualifizierten Person zur
Reparatur zu übergeben, um eventuellen Gefahren und Verletzungen des Körpers vorzubeugen.
•Man muss sich davon überzeugen, ob die Stromversorgungsleitung weder mit scharfkantigen noch mit
heißen Gegenständen in Berührung kommt; halten Sie die Leitung weit entfernt von einer offenen Flamme.
Um den Stecker aus der Netzsteckdose zu nehmen, muss man immer am Stecker und nicht an der Leitung
ziehen.
•Die Stromversorgungsleitung (oder Verlängerungsleitung) ist vor dem zufälligen Herausziehen aus der
Steckdose zu schützen. Die Stromversorgungsleitung muss so geführt werden, dass niemand zufällig darüber
stolpern kann.
•Das Gerät muss während seiner Anwendung ständig kontrolliert werden.
•Warnung! Wenn der Stecker in der Netzsteckdose ist, muss man das Gerät als an die Stromversorgung
angeschlossen betrachten.
•Bevor der Stecker aus der Netzsteckdose genommen wird, ist das Gerät auszuschalten.
•Das Gerät darf beim Tragen nicht an der Leitung gehalten werden.
•Benutzen Sie kein Zubehör, das nicht mit diesem Gerät mitgeliefert wurde.
•Das Gerät muss man ausschließlich an die Steckdose mit solch einer Spannung und Frequenz anschließen,
wie auf dem Typenschild angegeben wird.
•Stecken Sie den Stecker in die Steckdose, die an einem leicht und bequem zugänglichen Ort angeordnet ist,
und zwar so, dass das Gerät bei einer Störung sofort abgeschaltet werden kann. Um das Gerät vollständig
auszuschalten, muss man es von der Stromquelle trennen. Zu diesem Zweck muss man den Stecker, der sich
am Ende der vom Gerät getrennten Leitung befindet, aus der Netzsteckdose ziehen.
•Vor dem Abtrennen des Steckers ist das Gerät auszuschalten!
•Benutzen Sie kein Zubehör, das nicht vom Hersteller empfohlen wird. Die Anwendung vom nicht
empfohlenen Zubehör stellt eine Gefahr für den Nutzer dar und kann zur Beschädigung des Gerätes führen.
Benutzen Sie ausschließlich Ersatzteile und Zubehör im Original.
•Dieses Gerät eignet sich nicht für den Gebrauch durch Personen (gilt auch für Kinder) mit geringerer Motorik,
Sensorik oder geistiger Fähigkeit oder mangelhafter Erfahrung und Wissen.
•Auf keinen Fall darf das Bedienen des Gerätes durch Kinder zugelassen werden.

•Das Gerät mit Stromversorgungsleitung ist außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern zu lagern.
•Ebenso muss dafür gesorgt werden, dass die Kinder das Gerät nicht zum Spielen benutzen.
•Das Gerät ist immer dann von der Stromversorgung zu trennen, wenn es ohne Aufsicht bleiben soll bzw.
auch vor der Montage, Demontage und Reinigung.
•Während der Nutzung darf das Gerät nicht ohne Aufsicht gelassen werden.
Besondere Sicherheitshinweise
•Bitte darauf achten, dass der Innentopf nicht beschädigt wird, und daran denken, dass mit dem Gerät
vorsichtig umgegangen wird. Eine Beschädigung des Innentopfs wird den Kochprozess sowie die Funktion
der Warmhaltung ungünstig beeinflussen.
•Stellen Sie das Gerät auf einer eben und stabilen Fläche auf.
•Dabei ist daran zu denken, dass vor dem Stromanschluss des Gerätes der Innentopf in ihm unterzubringen
ist.
•Verwenden Sie keinen beschädigten Innentopf.
•Während des Funktionsbetriebes des Gerätes kann die Temperatur der zugänglichen Flächen sehr hoch sein.
Deshalb ist das Gerät ausschließlich nur am Haltegriff festzuhalten.
•Achten Sie auf den heißen Dampf, der aus der Dampfabzugsöffnung während des Kochens oder direkt aus
dem Gerät, wenn der Deckel abgenommen wird, entweicht. Um Verbrennungen durch den Dampf zu
vermeiden, darf man sich weder mit den Händen noch mit dem Gesicht dem Gerät nähern.
•Die Dampfabzugsöffnung darf weder bedeckt noch verstopft werden.
•Halten Sie sich von heißen Flächen und offenem Feuer fern. Außerdem muss man sich davon überzeugen,
dass das Gerät keiner Einwirkung von hohen Temperaturen, Staub, Sonnenstrahlen, Feuchtigkeit,
tropfendem Wasser und Spritzern ausgesetzt ist.
•Auf dem Gerät dürfen keine schweren Gegenstände abgelegt werden. Außerdem dürfen weder in der Nähe
des Gerätes noch auf ihm Objekte mit Flammen aufgestellt werden (z.B. brennende Kerzen). Ebenso dürfen
weder in der Nähe des Gerätes noch auf ihm keine mit Wasser gefüllten Objekte (z.B. Vasen) angebracht
werden.
•Überschreiten Sie auch nicht die Linie des maximalen Wasserstands im Innentopf (5,4 l / 30 Messbecher),
um einem Überlaufen des Wassers vorzubeugen.
•Vor dem Abstellen des Gerätes an seinem Lagerort oder vor seiner Reinigung muss man abwarten, bis es
völlig abgekühlt ist.
•Um den Reis aus dem Gerät zu nehmen, muss man immer den beigefügten Löffel oder einen anderen –
Kunststoff- oder Holzlöffel - benutzen. Verwenden Sie keine Metalllöffel, die den Belag des Innentopfs
beschädigen können.
•Wenn die Funktion der Wärmehaltung eingeschaltet ist, dann darf man weder einen Löffel zum Reisauflegen
noch andere Objekte im Innentopf belassen.
•Die Option „Warmhalten” darf nicht zum Erhitzen von gekochtem Reis verwendet werden.
•Aus Sicherheitsgründen darf man die Funktion zum Warmhalten nicht länger als 12 Stunden oder über eine
ganze Nacht benutzen. Diese Funktion dient lediglich für ein zeitlich befristetes und kurzzeitiges Halten der
Temperatur.
Verwendungszweck des Gerätes
•Das Gerät ist für den professionellen Einsatz geeignet, deshalb darf es nur durch qualifiziertes Personal
bedient werden.
•Das Gerät ist für den gewerblichen Einsatz bestimmt und dient zum das Kochen von Reis und das Beibehalten
der Temperatur des gekochten Reises konzipiert. Die Verwendung des Gerätes für andere Zwecke kann zu
seiner Beschädigung sowie zu Körperverletzungen führen.
•Jede andere Verwendung des Gerätes gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Der Benutzer ist allein
verantwortlich für die unsachgemäße Nutzung des Gerätes.
