PRECAUTIONS TO AVOID POSSIBLE
EXPOSURE TO EXCESSIVE MICROWAVE
ENERGY
1. Do not attempt to operate this oven with the door-open since open-
door operation can result in harmful exposure to microwave energy. It
is important not to defeat or tamper with the safety interlocks.
2. Do not place any object between the oven front face and the door or
allow soil or cleaner residue to accumulate on sealing surfaces.
3. Do not operate the oven if it is damaged. It is particularly important
that the oven door close properly and that there is no damage to
the:
a) Door (bent),
b) Hinges and latches (broken or loosened),
c) Door seals and sealing surfaces.
4. The oven should not be adjusted or repaired by anyone except
properly qualied service personnel.
PRECAUCIONES PARA EVITAR UNA POSIBLE
SOBRE EXPOSICIÓN
A ENERGÍA MICROONDAS.
1. No intente usar el horno con la puerta abierta ya que esto puede causar
que Ud. quede expuesto a la energía del microondas, lo cual es muy
perjudicial. Es importante no eliminar o manipular los cierres herméticos
o cerraduras de seguridad.
2. No coloque ningún objeto entre el microondas y la puerta ni tampoco
permita que la suciedad o residuos de materiales de limpieza se
acumulen en las supercies herméticas.
3. No utilice el horno si se reencuentra dañado. Es muy importante que la
puerta del horno quede debidamente cerrada y que no haya daños a:
a) La puerta (doblada o torcida)
b) Bisagras y cerraduras (rotas o sueltas)
c) Jebes o sellos de la puerta o supercies herméticas
4. No debe de intentar arreglarse o repararse el horno. Esto debe de
llevarse a cabo por el personal técnico calicado.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be followed, including the
following:
WARNING - To reduce the risk of burns, electric shock, re, and injury to persons or exposure
to excessive microwave energy:
1. Read all instructions before using the appliance.
2. Read and follow the specic "PRECAUTIONS TO AVOID POSSIBLE EXPOSURE TO
EXCESSIVE MICROWAVE ENERGY" on page 1.
3. This appliance must be grounded. Connect only to properly grounded outlet. See
"grounding instructions” on page 3.
4. Install or locate this appliance only in accordance with the provided installation
instructions.
5. Some products such as whole eggs and sealed containers -for example, closed glass
jars- are able to explode and should not be heated in this oven.
6. Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use
corrosive chemicals or vapors in this appliance. This type of oven is specically designed
to heat, cook, or dry food. It is not designed for industrial or laboratory use.
7. As with any appliance, close supervision is necessary when used by children.
8. To reduce the risk of re in the oven cavity:
Do not overcook food. Carefully attend appliance when paper, plastic, or other
combustible materials are placed inside the oven to facilitate cooking.
Remove wire twist-ties from paper or plastic bags before placing bag in oven.
If materials inside the oven should ignite, keep oven door closed, turn oven off, and
disconnect the power cord or shut off power at the fuse or circuit breaker panel.
Do not use the cavity for storage purposes. Do not leave paper products, cooking
utensils or food in the cavity when not in use.
9. Liquids, such as water, coffee, or tea can be overheated beyond the boiling point without
appearing to be boiling due to surface tension of the liquid. Visible bubbling or boiling
when the container is removed from the microwave oven is not always present. THEIS
COULD RESULT IN VERY HOT LIQUIDS SUDDENLY BOILING OVER WHEN A
SPOON OR OTHER UTENSIL IS INSERTED INTO THE LIQUID. To reduce the risk of
injury to person:
Do not overheat the liquid.
Stir the liquid both before and halfway through heating it.
Do not use straight-sided containers with narrow necks.
After heating, allow the container to stand in the microwave oven for a short time before
removing the container.
Use extreme care when inserting a spoon or other utensil into the container.
10. Do not heat oil or fat for deep-frying. It is difcult to control the temperature of oil in
microwave oven.
11. Pierce foods with heavy skins such as potatoes, whole squash, apples and chestnuts
before cooking.
12. The contents of feeding bottles and baby jars should be stirred or shaken and the
temperature should be checked before serving in order to avoid burns.
13. Cooking utensils may become hot because of heat transferred from the heated food.
Potholders may be needed to handle the utensil.
14. Do not cover or block any openings on the appliance.
15. Do not store or use this appliance outdoors. Do not use this product near water, for
example, near a kitchen sink, in a wet basement, near a swimming pool, or similar
locations.
16. Do not operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or a plug, if it is not working
properly or if it has been damaged or dropped.
17. Do not immerse cord or plug in water. Keep cord away from heated surface. Do not let
cord hang over edge of table or counter.
18. Use only thermometers, which are specically designed for use in microwave ovens.
INSTRUCCIONES IMPORTANTES DE
SEGURIDAD
Cuando se utilice cualquier electrodoméstico, debe de seguirse las siguientes instrucciones
básicas de seguridad:
ADVERTENCIA – Con el n de reducir el riesgo de quemaduras, descargas eléctricas,
fuego, daños personales o exposición a la energía microonda:
1. Lea todas las instrucciones antes de utilizar el electrodoméstico.
2. Lea y siga las “PRECAUCIONES PARA EVITAR LA POSIBLE EXPOSICIÓN A LA
EXCESIVA ENERGÍA MICROONDAS” en la página 1.
3. Este microondas debe de contar con conexión a tierra. Enchúfelo solamente a un
tomacorriente con conexión a tierra. Véase las “instrucciones de conexión a tierra en la
página 3.
4. Instale o coloque el electrodoméstico solamente de acuerdo a las instrucciones de
instalación que vienen con el aparato.
5. Algunos productos, como huevos enteros o envases cerrados herméticamente, por
ejemplo frascos de vidrio, pueden explotar por lo que no deben ser calentados en este
horno.
6. Utilice este electrodoméstico solo para los nes para los cuales has sido fabricado tal
como se describe en este manual.
No emplee químicos o vapores corrosivos en este aparato. Este tipo de horno ha sido
diseñado especícamente para calentar, cocer o deshidratar comida. No está diseñado
para nes industriales ni de laboratorio.
7. Como con cualquier otro electrodoméstico, debe supervisarse el uso de este aparato
si se trata de un niño quien lo use.
8. Con el n de reducir el riesgo que se produzca fuego dentro del horno:
• No cocine los alimentos demasiado. Tenga cuidado al usar, papel, plástico u otros
materiales combustibles dentro del horno si los usa para mejorar la cocción.
• Retire los precintos de alambre de las bolsas de papel o plástico antes de colocarlas
en el horno.
• Si algo se prendiera fuego dentro del horno, mantenga la puerta cerrada, apague el
horno y desenchúfelo o desconecte el circuito eléctrico principal en el panel de llaves.
• No almacene cosas dentro del horno. No deje productos de papel, utensilios de cocina
o comida dentro del horno mientras no esté en uso.
9. Los líquidos, tales como el agua, café o té pueden sobre calentarse más allá
del punto de ebullición sin parecer que estén hirviendo debido a la tensión de la
supercie del líquido. No siempre se verá el hervor o burbujeo cuando se retire
el líquido del horno. ESTO PUEDE OCASIONAR QUE LOS LÑIQUIDOS MUY
CALIENTES COMIENCEN A HERVIR CUADNO SE INSERTE UNA CHUCHARA

• Después de calentar, deje reposar el recipiente dentro del horno durante un rato antes
de retirarlo.
• Tenga sumo cuidado al insertar una cuchara u otros utensilios dentro del líquido.
10. No caliente aceite o grasa para freír. Es difícil controlar la temperatura del aceite
dentro del horno a microondas.
11. Perfore los alimentos con cáscaras gruesas tales como papas, calabazas enteras,
manzanas y castañas antes de cocerlos.
12. Los contenidos de biberones o frascos de alimentos para bebé deben de removerse
o sacudirse, y además, debe de vericarse la temperatura antes de servir para
evitar quemaduras.

INSTALLATION
1. Make sure that all the packing materials are removed from the inside of the door.
2. WARNING: Check the oven for any damage, such as misaligned or bent door, damaged
door seals and sealing surface, broken or loose door hinges and latches and dents
inside the cavity or on the door. If there is any damage, do not operate the oven and
contact qualied service personnel.
3. This microwave oven must be placed on a at, stable surface to hold its weight and the
heaviest food likely to be cooked in the oven.
4. Do not place the oven where heat, moisture, or high humidity are generated, or near
combustible materials.
5. For correct operation, the oven must have sufcient airow. Allow 20cm of space above
the oven, 10cm at back and 5cm at both sides. Do not cover or block any openings on
the appliance. Do not remove feet.
6. Do not operate the oven without glass tray, roller support, and shaft in their proper
positions.
7. Make sure that the power supply cord is undamaged and does not run under the oven
or over any hot or sharp surface.
8. The socket must be readily accessible so that it can be easily unplugged in an
emergency.
9. Do not use the oven outdoors.
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance must be grounded. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding reduces
risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current. The appliance is
equipped with a cord having a grounding wire with a grounding plug. The plug must be
plugged into an outlet that is properly installed and grounded.
WARNING:Improper use of the grounding plug can result in a risk of electric shock.
Electrical Requirements
The electrical requirements are a 120 volt 60 Hz, AC only, 15 amp. It is recommended that
a separate circuit serving only the oven be provided. The oven is equipped with a 3-prong
grounding plug. It must be plugged into a wall receptacle that is properly installed and
grounded.
Extension Cord
If it is necessary to use an extension cord, use only a 3-wire extension cord that has a 3 blade
grounding plug and a 3-slot receptacle that will accept the plug on the microwave oven. The
marked rating of the extension cord shall be equal to or greater than the electrical rating of
the appliance.
Notes:
1. If you have any questions about the grounding or electrical instructions, consult a qualied
electrician or service person.
2. Neither the manufacturer nor the dealer can accept any liability for damage to the oven
or personal injury resulting from failure to observe the electrical connection procedures.
13. Los utensilios de cocina pueden calentarse debido al calor que se traslada desde los
alimentos calientes. Se recomienda usar manoplas para manipular los utensilios.
14. No cubra ni obstruya las aberturas del electrodoméstico.

21. Solo el personal técnico calicado debe de llevar a cabo cualquier tipo de reparación.
Póngase en contacto con el centro autorizado de servicio más cercano para cualquier
arreglo o ajuste.
INSTRUCCIONES DE CONEXIÓN A TIERRA
Este aparato debe de ser conectado a tierra. En el caso de que ocurra un corto circuito, la
conexión a tierra reduce el riesgo de una descarga eléctrica al ofrecer un cable de escape
para la corriente eléctrica. Este aparato cuenta con un cordón que posee un alambre a tierra
y un enchufe a tierra. Este enchufe debe de ser conectado a un tomacorriente debidamente
instalado y con conexión a tierra.
ADVERTENCIA: El uso inapropiado del el enchufe a tierra puede ocasionar el riesgo de una
descarga eléctrica.
Requisitos de electricidad
Los requisitos de electricidad son de 120 voltios, 60 Hz. de corriente alterna y 15 amperios.
Se recomienda utilizar un circuito eléctrico aparte para conectar solamente el horno. El horno
viene equipado con un enchufe a tierra de tres extremidades. Éste enchufe debe conectarse
a un tomacorriente adecuadamente instalado y con conexión a tierra.
Cable de extensión
Si fuera necesario utilizar un cable de extensión, utilice solamente un cable de tres alambres
que cuente con un enchufe de tres extremidades y un tomacorriente de tres ranuras donde
pueda encajar el enchufe del horno a microondas. La capacidad eléctrica del cable de
extensión debe ser igual o mayor a la capacidad eléctrica del electrodoméstico.
Notas:
1. Si se tuviera alguna duda acerca de las instrucciones de conexión a tierra
o de electricidad, consulte con un electricista calicado o un técnico.
2. Ni el fabricante ni el distribuidor asumen ninguna responsabilidad debido a daños
ocasionados al horno o lesiones personales que se produzcan como resultado de no
observar los procedimientos de conexiones eléctricas.

RADIO OR TV INTERFERENCE
Operation of the microwave oven can cause interference to your radio, TV, or similar
equipment. When there is interference, it may be reduced or eliminated by taking the
following measures:
1. Clean door and sealing surface of the oven.
2. Reorient the receiving antenna of radio or television.
3. Relocate the microwave oven with respect to the receiver.
4. Move the microwave oven away from the receiver.
5. Plug the microwave oven into a different outlet so that microwave oven and receiver are
on different branch circuits.
UTENSILS GUIDE
This section lists which utensils can be used in the microwave, which ones have limited use
for short periods, and which ones should not be used in the microwave.
Recommended
·Microwave browning dish — Use to brown the exterior of small items such as steaks, chops,
or pancakes. Follow the directions provided with your browning dish.
· Microwaveable plastic wrap — Use to retain steam. Leave a small opening for some steam
to escape and avoid placing it directly on the food.
·Paper towels and napkins — Use for short-term heating and covering; These absorb excess
moisture and prevent spattering. Do not use recycled paper towels, which may contain
metal and could ignite.
·Glass and glass-ceramic bowls and dishes — Use for heating or cooking.
·Paper plates and cups — Use for short-term heating at low temperatures. Do not use
recycled paper, which may contain metal and could ignite.
·Wax paper — Use as a cover to prevent spattering.
·Thermometers — Use only those labeled “Microwave Safe” and follow all directions. Check
the food in several places. Conventional thermometers may be used on microwave food
once the food has been removed from the oven.
Limited Use
· Aluminum foil — Use narrow strips of foil to prevent overcooking of exposed areas.
Using too much foil can damage your oven, so be careful.
·Ceramic, porcelain, and stoneware — Use these if they are labeled “Microwave Safe”.
If they are not labeled, test them to make sure they can be used safely.
·Plastic — Use only if labeled “Microwave Safe”. Other plastics can melt.
·Straw, wicker, and wood — Use only for short-term heating, such as warming dinner rolls
for a few seconds. Baskets and bowls may be ammable.
Not Recommended
·Glass jars and bottles — Regular glass is too thin to be used in a microwave. It can shatter
and cause damage and injury.
·Paper bags — These are a re hazard, except for popcorn bags that are designed for
microwave use.
·Styrofoam plates and cups — These can melt and leave an unhealthy residue on food.
·Plastic storage and food containers — Containers such as margarine tubs can melt in the
microwave.
·Metal utensils — These can damage your oven. Remove all metal before cooking.
Note: Should you wish to check if a dish is safe for microwaving, place the empty dish in
the oven and microwave on HIGH for 30 seconds. A dish which becomes very hot
should not be used.
INTERFERENCIA DE FRECUENCIA RADIAL O
DE TV
El funcionamiento del horno puede generar interferencia en un radio, televisor o equipos
similares. Si hubiera interferencia, se puede tomar las siguientes medidas para reducirla o
eliminarla:
1. Limpie la puerta y la supercie hermética del horno.

GUÍA DE UTENSILIOS
Esta sección detalla que utensilios pueden usarse con el horno a microondas, que utensilios
son de uso limitado y para períodos cortos, y que utensilios no deben usarse con este
horno.
Recomendados
- Plato para dorar en microondas - Utilice para dorar el exterior de alimentos de menor
tamaño tales como bistés, chuletas o panqueques. Siga las instrucciones que vengan con
el plato para dorar.
- Envoltura plástica para microondas - Utilice para mantener el vapor. Dejé una pequeña
abertura para que algo de vapor pueda escapar y evite colocarla directamente sobre los
alimentos.
- Toallas y servilletas de papel - Utilice para calentar durante períodos cortos y para cubrir.
Estas absorben el exceso de humedad y evitan las salpicaduras. No utilice toallas de papel
recicladas ya que pueden contener trozos de metal que podrían prenderse fuego.
- Recipientes y platos de vidrio y de cerámica - Utilice para calentar y para cocer.

prenderse fuego.
- Papel acerado - Utilice para cubrir y evitar salpicaduras.
- Termómetros - Utilice sólo aquellos diseñados para utilizar en uno horno a microondas y
siga todas las instrucciones. Revise los alimentos en diversos lugares. Los termómetros
convencionales pueden usarse con los alimentos cocidos a microondas una vez que hayan
sido retirados del horno.
Uso limitado
- Papel aluminio - Utilice tiras delegadas de papel aluminio para evitar la cocción excesiva
