Quick Start Guide
What Makes CoolMate Great?
It creates a microscopic mist so ultra-fine it evaporates almost immediately
once in contact with the breeze of the fan. CoolMate misting heads are
dripless making the fans suitable for indoor use.
Do not tamper with or remove mist head.
Doing so may cause permanent damage. If mist head becomes damaged
beyond repair, DO NOT return product to store. Please call Toll Free: U.S.
and Canada 1-866-793-7874.
Is your fan NOT creating mist?
It may be for one of the following reasons:
1. Water level too low SOLUTION: When water level reaches approx.
5%, the misting function will stop automatically to protect the mist head. Please
refill fan’s internal water tank and re-push HI or LOW mist setting.
2. Air lock SOLUTION: If fan previously ran out of water before the
misting function was turned OFF, an air lock may have formed in the system. To
remedy, gently but firmly shake the fan to unblock the water passages.
3. Water tank is empty SOLUTION: Refill tank using funnel-fliter
supplied with your fan. DO NOT over fill.
4. Mineral deposit on Nano-Mist Generator misting head
SOLUTION: Gently swab misting head with ONLY cotton tip swab dipped in
commercial solutions noted for removing mineral deposits (e.g. CLR) or plain
white vinegar. Repeat gentle swabbing several times for thorough cleaning.
