BEFORE USE:
• Remove all packaging. Check that there is no packaging inside the oven.
• Set the function dial to the oven setting (top & bottom together).
• Allow to run for 15 minutes in a well ventilated room without food to burn off the protective covering on the heating elements.
• A small amount of smoke may appear during this time. This is normal, and should not cause alarm.
• Wash up accessories before first use and dry thoroughly.
• In general, it is not necessary to preheat the oven, however preheating may improve results when cooking
some delicate foods such as medium-rare meat or cakes.
DURING USE:
• Place food in the oven on toast rack or baking tray and ensure the door is closed.
• Set the heat to the desired setting using the function switch. The top element is used for browning. The lower element is the basic
oven and reaches approximately 205°C when using both elements together, the oven will reach approx 230°C.
• Set the desired cooking time using the timer.
• To turn off the 6L Mini Oven before the timer has finished, turn the function switch to the OFF position,
and allow the timer to run to 0.
• When the cooking time has elapsed, the 6L Mini Oven will automatically turn off and the bell will sound.
The timer will continue for a short time after before stopping.
• Once the Oven is off the food can be removed. Always use oven gloves to do this.
• Always check that food is cooked through before consuming.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS:
• Always switch off and unplug before cleaning.
• Always allow to cool fully before cleaning.
• Clean baking tray with mild household cleaner.
• Clean after every use to prevent build up of grease or odours.
• Do NOT immerse in water. Risk of electric shock.
• Do NOT use abrasive cleaners or sharp utensils to clean the oven.
• Wipe surfaces and heating elements with a soft dry cloth.
• Periodically remove the drip tray to clear crumbs and any other food residues.
• Allow to dry thoroughly before further use.
SPECIFICATION: PACKAGING:
• Dispose of the packaging at your local recycling centre.
• Dispose of paper and carton separately from plastic bags at
your local recycling centre.
• Dispose of the item at the end of its lifespan at your local
authorised household waste recycling centre.
