ATTENZIONE
Leggete con attenzione questo manuale e seguite passo
passo le istruzioni, che mostrano in modo generico l’in-
stallazione di un sistema car audio, ma non contengono i
metodi specifici di installazione sul vostro veicolo.
Un prolungato ascolto a volume molto elevato può cau-
sare danni permanenti al sistema uditivo: raccomandiamo
di non eccedere con il volume. Potenti sistemi car audio
possono produrre pressioni sonore che eccedono il limi-
te previsto da alcune legislazioni: rispettate le norme del
vostro Paese.
Durante la guida ascoltate a livello moderato: dovete esse-
re sempre in grado di udire i rumori esterni per affrontare
eventuali emergenze.
Un sistema car audio fornisce le migliori prestazioni solo
se correttamente installato: è quindi necessaria una buona
conoscenza delle problematiche meccaniche ed acustiche
dell’auto.
Per evitare qualsiasi rischio, raccomandiamo che l’instal-
lazione sia eseguita da personale specializzato, nel rispetto
delle norme di sicurezza vigenti.

WARNING
Please read this manual carefully and follow the instruc-
tions step by step. These instructions generally show you
how to install a car audio system, but they do not explain
the specific installation methods for your type of car.
Protracted listening at very high volume level may cause
permanent hearing damages: we recommend to not exceed
with high volume. High-powered car audio systems may
produce pressure levels which exceed the limits of legisla-
tions in some countries: please respect such rules of your
country.
We also recommend the use of a moderate volume level while
driving: you must always be able to hear external noises in
order to face possible emergency situations promptly.
A car audio system gives its best performances only if cor-
rectly installed: for this reason, a good car’s acoustical and
mechanical knowledge are required.
To ensure total safety, we strongly recommend you to en-
trust installation to a qualified personnel, respecting the
current safety laws.

INSTALLAZIONE
Pianificate attentamente l’installazione del vostro impianto:
un sistema car audio offre le migliori prestazioni solo se
correttamente installato e tarato.
Assicuratevi che l’amplificatore non interferisca
con la sicurezza di guida.
Installate l’amplificatore in posizione ben aerata e lontano
da componenti che generano calore, in un luogo protetto da
polvere, umidità ed oggetti in movimento. In caso di utilizzo
estremo, prevedere un raffreddamento forzato dell’amplifi-
catore con opportune ventole.
Fissate l’amplificatore ad una superficie solida, controllate
con cura il posizionamento per prevenire danni al serba-
toio, ai cavi elettrici o alle condutture idrauliche.
Particolare attenzione va prestata al dimensionamento e al-
l’installazione del sistema di alimentazione poiché da esso
dipendono, oltre alle prestazioni e affidabilità dell’impianto,
anche la sicurezza dell’autoveicolo stesso.
Per evitare possibili danni, prima di effettuare
i collegamenti, spegnete l’autoradio e tutti gli
apparati elettronici del sistema audio.
Accendendo l’autoradio, l’amplificatore si accende auto-
maticamente, con alcuni secondi di ritardo. In caso di mal
funzionamento i circuiti di protezione spengono l’amplifica-
tore, che si riattiva spegnendo e riaccendendo l’autoradio.
Risolvete il problema prima di riaccendere l’autoradio.
INSTALLATION
Before starting the installation, take your time for a careful
planning: a car audio system can give the best performanc-
es only if correctly installed and tuned.
Carefully check that the amplifier never interferes
with your total driving safety.
Make sure that the amplifier is not mounted near to hot
components and it has sufficient ventilation, away from
dust, moisture and moving objects. In case of extreme use
of audio system, please add a forced air ventilation for the
amplifier.
Fix the amplifier on a steady surface, check the mounting
location carefully, to avoid damages to the gas tank, electri-
cal wires or hydraulic pipes.
We recommend to pay many attention to the project and
the installation of power supply, since from this section the
sound performances, the system reliability and the vehicle
safety are depending.
In order to avoid possible damages, before
starting connections, turn off the car radio and
all electrical devices in your audio system.
Turning the car-radio on, the amplifier turn on automati-
cally, some secondes later. In the event of fault conditions,
the protection circuits turn off the amplifier, that is reactivate
turning off and on the car radio. Make you sure to solve the
problem before turn on the amplifier again.

ALIMENTAZIONE POWER CONNECTIONS
Collegate l’alimentazione direttamente alla batteria, sia del po-
sitivo che del negativo, rispettando le polarità. Utilizzate cavi di
buona qualità e di sezione adeguata in funzione della lunghezza,
come da tabella, rispettando le polarità. Nel caso si utilizzino
più amplificatori, si deve considerare la potenza rms totale del
sistema sommando le potenze dei singoli amplificatori.
Link both positive and negative supply connectors di-
rectly to the battery, keeping the polarity. Use high qual-
ity cables and chose the right wire gauge to the used
power and to the cable length, as on underneath table.
By using more then one amplifier, the total rms power to
consider is given by adding the power of all amplifiers.

Collegate l’uscita remote dell’autoradio al morsetto REM con un
cavo da 1 mm2. Fate scorrere i fili in una guaina di protezione;
non passate vicino a centraline elettroniche, ai cablaggi dell’au-
tovettura o a parti che generano calore.
Link the car radio remote output to the REM terminal by
using 1 mm2cable. Route all wires through a protec-
tion grommet; don’t put the cables close to electronic
devices, car wiring or heat-generating parts.

FUSIBILI
Per prevenire principi d’incendio in caso di cortocircuito ac-
cidentale, inserite un porta-fusibile o un disgiuntore termico
vicino alla batteria, sul cavo positivo. Utilizzate un fusibile di
valore appropriato, come da tabella; considerate la potenza
totale dell’impianto nel caso sia formato da più amplificatori.
Verificate più volte i collegamenti di tutto l’impianto prima di
inserire il fusibile o di attivare il disgiuntore termico.
ALTOPARLANTI
Collegate gli altoparlanti con cavo di buona qualità, rispettan-
do le polarità. La sezione del cavo deve essere adeguata alla
sua lunghezza ed alla potenza impiegata, come da tabella.
Verificate attentamente che l’impedenza di carico su ogni cana-
le non sia inferiore a quella accettata dall’amplificatore. Non
collegate mai insieme i negativi, non collegate mai a massa
alcun altoparlante.

FUSES
To prevent fire in the event of a shorted cable, place a fuse
holder or a circuit breaker, near to the battery, on the posi-
tive pole. Use a correct fuse value, as on underneath table:
consider the total rms power of the system in case of multiple
amplifier use. Double check all the system connections before
insert the battery fuse or activate the circuit breaker.

LOUDSPEAKERS
Link the speakers by using high quality cables, keeping the
polarities. The wire gauge needs to be adapted to it’s length
and used power, as on underneath table.
Make sure that the load’s impedance on each channel is not
lower then the accepted one from your amplifier. Never link
together the negatives of the speakers, never connect to
ground any speakers.
I fusibili interni non sostituiscono quello sulla batteria; in caso
di necessità, sostituiteli con altri di pari valore.
The amplifier’s internal fuses don’t substitute the battery one;
if necessary, replace them with same value fuses.

INGRESSI DI SEGNALE
Collegate l’uscita di segnale RCA dell’autoradio agli ingressi
INPUT (B) dell’amplificatore, utilizzando un cavo di segnale di
buona qualità. Fate scorrere i fili attraverso una guaina di pro-
tezione, lontano da fonti di calore. Non passate vicino ai cavi di
alimentazione, ai cablaggi dell’auto o a centraline elettroniche,
che potrebbero causare l’insorgere di rumore.
SIGNAL INPUTS
Link the RCA car radio signal output to the amplifier INPUT (B),
by using a high quality signal cable. Route all wires through
a protection grommet; don’t put the cables close to electronic
devices, car wiring or heat-generating parts. Route the cables
away from any supply wires as running them close together
can generate some interference noise.
Se l’autoradio non dispone di uscita di segnale, collegate le
sue uscite per altoparlanti agli ingressi HI-INPUT (C) del-
l’amplificatore, utilizzando normale cavo per altoparlanti e
rispettando le polarità indicate sull’amplificatore.
If the car radio is not provided by signal output, link the radio
speaker output to the amplifier HI-INPUT (C), by using stan-
dard loudspeaker cables and keeping the polarities shown on
the amplifier.

To adjust the X-Pander level from the driver position, link
the supplied remote control to the relative socket (I). Route
the linking cable through a protection grommet; don’t put
the cable close to electronic devices, car wiring or heat-
generating parts.

BASS PROCESSOR
Il LEVEL (D) adegua la sensibilità d’ingresso dell’amplificato-
re all’uscita dell’autoradio: non è un controllo di volume. Per
scegliere la sua giusta posizione, portate il livello dell’ampli-
ficatore al minimo ed il volume dell’autoradio vicino a 3/4 del
suo massimo; ascoltando la vostra musica preferita, aumentate
lentamente il livello dell’amplificatore e fermatelo quando rag-
giungete il più elevato livello di suono indistorto.
Con il controllo LP (E) è possibile scegliere la frequenza di
taglio del filtro passa-basso: da 35 a 250 hertz.
Il controllo PHASE (F) consente di allineare la fase dell’altopar-
lante/i pilotato/i da questo amplificatore con gli altri compo-
nenti del sistema. Provate a ruotare questo controllo e sceglie-
te la posizione che offre il miglior risultato acustico nell’auto.
La funzione SUBSONIC è attivabile tramite il deviatore (H):
consente di eliminare la frequenze troppo basse, che potrebbe-
ro danneggiare gli altoparlanti. Il relativo controllo (G) regola
la frequenza di taglio in modo continuo da 16 a 80 hertz.
La funzione BASS X-PANDER (L) consente di incrementare
in modo continuo le basse frequenze intorno ai 40 hertz: da
0 sino a + 18 dB. Inoltre, è comandabile a distanza tramite il
controllo remoto fornito in dotazione (se collegato).
BASS PROCESSOR
The LEVEL (D) allows to match the amplifier sensitivity to the
car-radio output: it is not a volume control. To choose the right
position of this control, turn the amplifier level to the minimum
and set the car radio volume near to 3/4 of its maximum; now,
playing the music you like, slowly increase the amplifier level
and stop it when you meet the maximum level of undistorted
sound.
The low-pass crossover frequency can be chosen by the LP
control (E): from 35 up to 250 hertz.
The PHASE control (F) allows to align the phase of the speak-
ers driven by this amplifier to all the other speakers of the sys-
tem. Try to adjust this control and choose the position offering
the best acoustic performances in your car.
The SUBSONIC function can be turned on by the switch (H); it
allows to cancel the too low frequencies: they can damage the
loudspeakers. The related control (G) sets the cut frequency
from 16 up to 48 hertz.
The BASS X-PANDER section (L) allows to enhance the low
frequencies around 40 hertz continuously, from 0 up to +12
dB. As well, it is possible to adjust it by the supplied remote
control (when connected).

USCITA ALTOPARLANTI
L’amplificatore dispone di una doppia morsettiera, per facilitare
l’eventuale collegamento di due subwoofer. Collegate gli alto-
parlanti con cavo di buona qualità, rispettando le polarità. La
sezione del cavo deve essere adeguata alla sua lunghezza ed
alla potenza, come da tabella a pagina 5.
Verificate attentamente che l’impedenza di carico non sia
inferiore a quella accettata dall’amplificatore. Non collega-
te mai insieme i negativi, non collegate mai a massa alcun
altoparlante.
LOUDSPEAKER OUTPUT
The amplifier is equipped with a double terminal block,
to make a possible link of a subwoofer pair easy. Link the
speakers by using high quality cables, keeping the polarities.
The wire gauge needs to be adapted to it’s length and used
power, as on table of page 5.
Make sure that the load’s impedance is not lower then the
accepted one from your amplifier. Never link together the
negatives of the speakers, never connect to ground any
loudspeakers.

Tramite il deviatore X-OVER (F) è possibile selezionare tre di-
versi modi di funzionamento del filtro interno, che agisce sul
funzionamento dell’amplificatore: FLAT (gamma intera) per
amplificare un completo sistema di altoparlanti, HP (passa-
alto) per pilotare solo la gamma medio-alta, LP (passa-basso)
per amplificare un subwoofer. Le frequenze di taglio del filtro si
impostano agendo sui controlli HP (G) e LP (I).
La funzione BASS X-PANDER (H) consente di incrementare
le basse frequenze intorno ai 50 hertz: + 6 dB o + 12 dB.
ADJUSTMENTS & CONTROLS
The LEVEL (E) allows to match the amplifier sensitivity to the
car-radio output: it is not a volume control. To choose the
right position of this control, turn the amplifier level to the
minimum and set the car radio volume near to 3/4 of its max-
imum; now, playing your preferred music, slowly increase
the amplifier level and stop it when you meet the maximum
level of undistorted sound.
By setting the X-OVER (F) switch, it is possible to choose
between three different kinds of the internal filter working,
that operate on the amplifier running: FLAT (complete range)
to power a complete speaker system, HP (high-pass) to drive
the mid-high range only, LP (low-pass) to power a subwoof-
er. The crossover frequencies are settled by the HP (G) and
LP (I) controls.
The BASS X-PANDER section (H) allows to enhance the low
frequencies around 50 hertz: + 6 dB or +12 dB.

USCITA ALTOPARLANTI
Collegate gli altoparlanti con cavo di buona qualità, rispettan-
do le polarità. La sezione del cavo deve essere adeguata alla
sua lunghezza ed alla potenza, come da tabella a pagina 5.
Verificate attentamente che l’impedenza di carico su ogni cana-
le non sia inferiore a quella accettata dall’amplificatore. Non
collegate mai insieme i negativi, non collegate mai a massa
alcun altoparlante.
LOUDSPEAKER OUTPUT
Link the speakers by using high quality cables, keeping the
polarities. The wire gauge needs to be adapted to it’s length
and used power, as on table of page 5.
Make sure that the load’s impedance on each channel is not
lower then the accepted one from your amplifier. Never link
together the negatives of the speakers, never connect to
ground any speakers.
