Coral UV Sanitizer and Dryer
General Precautions
Read this document thoroughly before you operate or maintain your Coral UV™ Sanitizer and Dryer.
This product is not intended for use by persons (including children with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the product by a person responsible for their safety.

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or personal
injury when using this product, follow basic safety
precautions including the following:
Direct exposure and overexposure to UV light can
cause permanent eye damage. The Coral UV Sanitizer
and Dryer is built with safety mechanism to prevent
exposure to ultraviolet radiation. Please follow all
instructions below carefully to avoid hazard and health
risk.
–Lid should always remain closed during operation.
–Do not tamper with the product's safety operation
switch or attempt to operate the product with the
lid open.
–Always stop operation at the control panel before
opening the lid.
You must connect this product to a properly grounded,
dedicated electrical outlet that is rated for use with
this product (120V, 60 Hz, AC only).
This product is equipped with a polarized plug. To
reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug intended to
fit into a polarized one-way outlet only. f it does not
fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the
plug in any way.
Extension cords may be used if care is exercised in
their use.
–The marked electrical rating of the extension cord
should be at least equal to the electrical rating of
the product.
–The longer cord should be arranged so that it will
not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it
can be tripped over, snagged, or pulled on
unintentionally. A short power cord has been
provided to prevent the risk of it becoming tangled
or being tripped over.
Always unplug from outlet when not in use, before
product maintenance cleaning and replacing lamp
bulbs. Always power off the product before
unplugging.
Do not let cord hang over an edge, a table or a
counter, or touch heated surfaces.
Do not handle the plug or the product with wet hands.
Do not use the cord as a handle, pinch or pull the cord
around sharp edges or corners. Do not run equipment
over the cord.
Do not place the product near fire or heat sources.
The product shall be used by adults only. Children
should not operate this product.
Do not operate this product if the cord is damaged.
Turn off the product before unplugging the product.
Hold the plug and pull it from the wall outlet. Do not
yank on the cord.
To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the
cord, plug, or product in liquid. Do not place or store
the product where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or
sink.
Keep this product out of reach of children. Children
should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the product.
Do not use the product for purposes other than those
intended.
FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. DO NOT USE
OUTDOORS.
Never use any accessories or parts from other
manufacturers that are not specifically recommended
for this product. Use of unauthorized accessories or
parts will void the product's warranty.
There are no self-serviceable parts inside the product.
Do not attempt to open, service, or repair the product
by yourself. All servicing should be performed by an
authorized service representative. Failure to observe
this requirement shall void any warranty, stated or
implied.
Always place the product on a level and firm surface.
Always power off and unplug the product before
moving it.
Do not place any items on top of the product.
Only sanitize items that have been approved for
sanitization and can withstand a moderate level of UV
light exposure.
Never insert any objects into the vent, holes, or any
opening.
Do not use harsh chemicals to clean the product, as it
may potentially cause damage to the product.
A minimum space of five inches should be maintained
between the back of the product and the wall to
ensure proper air vent circulation
Do not reach for a product that has fallen into water.
Unplug the product from the outlet immediately.
Do not operate this product if it has malfunctioned, is
damaged, or is submerged in water.
Do not expose the product to direct sunlight.
Do not operate the product in an area where an
aerosol product is being used or oxygen is being
administrated.
f you suspect a gas leak in the area, unplug and
ventilate the product immediately.
Do not store this product outdoor, in an extreme hot
or cold environment or in an environment that is
generally considered not suitable for electrical
appliance storage.

Overview
The Coral UV™ Sanitizer and Dryer is an easy-to-use product which uses UV-C light to sanitize your
items, and is combined with a dryer to dry your items. This product features one-touch push button
control with cycle indicators and an auto-shut off mechanism when the cycle is complete. There is no
hot water or steam, which minimizes the risk of burns. There are two UV viewing windows on top of
the product so you know when the UV lights are in operation. It also includes a HEPA filter to help
prevent airflow contamination. UV-C light will effectively eliminate up to 99.9% of household germs.

Coral UV Sanitizer and Dryer
Before First Use
The Coral UV Sanitizer and Dryer is cleaned with alcohol wipes before packaging and might have an
alcohol smell when first opened. Before using your Coral UV Sanitizer and Dryer for the first time, we
recommend that you first run the product as described below.
To set up the product for normal use, follow these steps.
1. Place the product on a flat, level surface with at least 5 inches (12.7 cm of clearance between the
product and the wall.
This ensures proper ventilation clearance when the fan is running.
2. Push the PRESS button on the front of the product to open the lid.
3. Check that there is no damage to the bulbs. In the unlikely event the bulbs are damaged, please
contact us at service@coraluv.co.
4. Use a damp cloth and gently wipe the inside of the product. Then use a dry cloth to ensure there
are no water droplets remaining. Close the lid.
5. Press AUTO until the time display shows 50.
If there is no noticeable difference, run another 50 minute AUTO cycle.
6. After the cycle is complete, leave the product overnight with the lid open.
This is sufficient for first use. However, to freshen the product from packaging at the factory, place a
couple lemon or ginger slices in the chamber and run on AUTO for the longest cycle. See Operation
Modes for further details.

Quick Start
This section outlines the basic instruction on how to use the Coral UV Sanitizer and Dryer. Please see
the subsequent sections for specific details on how to load, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the
product.
1. Place the product on a level surface.
2. Ensure there is no power to the product and
that it is unplugged.
3. Follow the procedures in Before First Use.
4. Plug in the product.
5. If applicable, wash items thoroughly by
hand and shake off excessive water before
inserting in the chamber.
6. To open the lid, push the Press button.
7. Place items in the chamber, ensuring there is
adequate space between items.
8. Follow the procedures in Inserting Items in
the Chamber.
9. Close the lid.
10. Select the appropriate function setting
according to the items in the chamber.
11. To change the time setting or stop operation,
follow the procedures in Operation Modes
12. Open the lid and remove the items when the
cycle is complete.
The product will beep and shut down
automatically when the selected cycle is
complete.
13. If there are any water spots or marks on the
inside of the chamber, gently wipe the inside
according to the procedures in Clean the
Product.

Operation
The product has four main operating modes: Auto (Sanitize and Dry , Sanitize only, Dry only, and
Storage mode. All options are easy-to-use with one-touch operation.
Open the Lid
The Press button on the front of the product is a dual-purpose mechanism that
serves as a safety guard against accidental exposure and an operation indicator.
When Press light is on, the product is in operation. When Press light is off, the
product is not in operation. If the Press button is pushed while the product is in the
middle of a cycle, the lid will open and the cycle immediately stops.
Basket Alignment
The Coral UV Sanitizer and Dryer comes with a basket for smaller items. If you wish to use this basket,
ensure it is properly aligned in the chamber as shown below.
IMPORTANT
Most household items can be sanitized in our product. However, do not sanitize items that cannot
withstand moderate UV exposure. f in doubt, we recommend consulting the manual or manufacturer of
the items.
IMPORTANT Note the basket clips on either side are offset by one row. This is intentional and the basket should be
inserted as shown to ensure it is secured in the chamber.

Inserting Items in the Chamber
How items are placed in the product is critical into getting maximum exposure to the UV-C light.
The stainless interior chamber ensures maximum UV-C reflection on all surfaces. However, you must
place the items far enough apart to ensure adequate airflow and to reduce the chance of an area not
being exposed to the light. For cloth items like handkerchiefs etc., ensure it is completely unfolded and
flat to ensure no areas are hidden from the UV-C light.
When placing items in the chamber or basket:
IMPORTANT Do NOT overload items and do NOT stack items in the chamber. The height of all items placed in the
container shall not exceed 7.1 inches (18 cm).
UNSCREW ALL ITEMS, REMOVE ALL LIDS,
SEPARATE ALL COMPONENTS.
REMOVE EXCESS WATER FROM ALL ITEMS.
DO NOT PLACE ITEMS FACE DOWN. ALL OPEN-
INGS SHOULD FACE UP OR ON THE SIDE.
ENSURE THERE IS ADEQUATE
SPACE BETWEEN ITEMS.

Operation Modes
There are four separate operating modes. Drying results may vary depending on how well you shake
off the items, general humidity conditions, and the shape of the objects that are being sanitized and/or
dried.
For optimal results, insert items into the chamber according to the instructions in Inserting Items in the
Chamber.
To stop operation if the product is running, press the same function button.
To stop operation if the product is not yet running (but a function button is blinking , press any other
function button.
To reset operation when selecting the cycle time (and the time display is blinking , press any other
function button.
In all modes of operation, the Coral UV Sanitizer and Dryer will beep when the cycle is complete.

1. Ensure the lid is securely closed.
2. Press the AUTO button.
The button and the number of minutes will blink
in the display.
3. Continue pressing the AUTO button until you
reach the desired number of minutes.
4. Stop pressing the button and wait for the timer
to stop blinking.
Operation will start and run for the specified
time.
This setting runs the UV
lights only. t is
recommended for items
that cannot be washed or
that don’t need to be
dried.

1. Ensure the lid is securely closed.
2. Press the SAN T ZE button.
The button and the number of minutes will blink
in the time display.
3. Continue pressing the SAN T ZE button until you
reach the desired number of minutes.
4. Stop pressing the button to start operation.
This setting will dry items,
but will not sanitize them.
t is recommended for
items that are washed but
do not need sanitization.

1. Ensure the lid is securely closed.
2. Press the DRY button.
The number of minutes will blink in the display.
3. Continue pressing the DRY button until you
reach the desired number of minutes.
4. Stop pressing the button to start operation.
This setting runs a
50 minute AUTO cycle. t
will then run a 2 minute
sanitization cycle every
2 hours (to a maximum of
24 hours).
This setting is
recommended to keep
items sanitized overnight.

50 minutes will appear in the time display and
the product will start.
IMPORTANT f at any time during operation the Press button on the front of the product is pushed, the top lid will
open and operation will immediately stop.

Maintenance
There are three main tasks to maintain your product to produce optimal drying and sanitizing results.
All procedures take just a few minutes and should be performed according to the schedule outlined
below.
Frequency
Clean the Product
It is recommended to use gloves when handling any of the components inside the chamber.
Fingerprints can affect the reflection of the UV light and can hinder the sanitization process.
Follow these steps to clean the Coral UV Sanitizer and Dryer.
1. Unplug the product.
2. Press the button on the front of the product and remove the basket.
3. Using a damp cloth, wipe the inside and walls of the chamber to remove any watermarks
or fingerprints.
4. Wipe with a dry cloth to ensure no marks are left behind on the stainless steel, as they can
negatively affect sanitization.
5. Wipe the basket in the same manner as the chamber.
6.Reinsert the basket in the chamber, ensuring not to touch the inside walls or floor of the chamber.
ATTENTION: Do NOT use chemicals, cleaners, vinegar, or any other cleaning solutions on the product.
Clean the interior of the product for watermarks and stains After every use
Replace the HEPA filter Every 3 months (depending on use)
Replace the UV bulb Every 12 months (depending on use)
IMPORTANT Do NOT wipe the protective grate with water, as this could allow water to enter the UV light
chamber.
IMPORTANT Always wipe off the dry water spots after each use on the interior space. Dry water spots can hinder the
performance of the UV lights and cause damage to the stainless steel interior.

Replace the HEPA Filter
Follow these steps to replace the HEPA filter on the Coral UV Sanitizer and Dryer.
1. Unplug the product.
2. Locate the HEPA filter on the back of the product.
3. Push the tab to release the one side and remove the old HEPA filter.
4. Insert the new HEPA filter in reverse order of removal.
5. Press the tab in until it clicks.
ATTENTION: Do NOT attempt to clean or reuse the HEPA filters. Only insert approved HEPA filters from
Coral UV. Dispose of the used filters according to your local regulations.

Replace the UV Bulbs
The Coral UV Sanitizer and Dryer comes equipped with two Philips UV-C bulbs. These bulbs should
be replaced at least once a year, however their life may be extended depending on usage. The average
lifespan of these bulbs is 6000 hours.
Follow these steps to replace the UV-C bulb.
1. Unplug the product.
2. Allow bulbs time to cool down before attempting to remove.
3. Open the lid and insert the extraction tool as shown.
4. Gently pull back to release the grate, and repeat on the clip underneath.
5. Remove the protective cover, and place in a clean area.
ATTENTION: Handle the bulbs carefully. Do not touch the glass portion of the UV bulb with bare hands. We
recommend using gloves to avoid leaving fingerprints or skin oils that affect the UV bulb. NEVER push or pull
the UV bulb from the middle.

6.To remove the old bulb, hold the ends of the bulb and gently twist clockwise. You will feel the
bulb loosen.

8. Gently pull the bulb down.
Do not force the bulb. If there is resistance, turn the bulb until you feel it become loose.
9. To install the new bulb, align the prongs with the slots in the socket.
10. Gently push the bulb straight into the sockets, and rotate it counterclockwise until it locks into
place.
11. Gently tug the bulb to ensure that it is firmly in place.
IMPORTANT Do NOT grasp the middle of the bulb when you remove it.

12. Wipe the face of the protective cover with a dry cloth (or damp cloth if there are stubborn
watermarks . Ensure the protective cover is dry when it is reinserted.
13. Align the protective cover with the lid and gently push it into place, ensuring not to touch the
bulbs.
If a UV Bulb Breaks
In the event a bulb or lamp should break:
1. If the Coral UV Sanitizer and Dryer is on, turn it off and unplug immediately.
2. Move all pets and children away from the broken bulb.
3. If applicable, turn off central forced air heating/cooling system.
4. Open a window or door outside to air out the room for 5-10 minutes.
5. Use gloves and a wet paper towel to remove smaller pieces of broken glass and mercury residue.
You can also use stiff cardboard or similar to scoop up the larger broken pieces.
6. DO NOT USE A VACUUM TO REMOVE THE BROKEN GLASS.
7. Repeat wiping area with clean wet paper towels until clean.
8. Place all items used to clean in a sealable container.
9. Dispose of all waste according to your local requirements.

IMPORTANT Do NOT grasp the middle of the bulb when you install it.
WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including mercury, which is known to the State of
California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. All fluorescent bulbs, including
germicidal UV bulbs, contain a small amount of mercury sealed within the glass tubing. For more
information, go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov. To minimize exposure to mercury vapor, EPA recommends that
you follow the instructions below to prevent or handle broken bulbs.

Warranty
The Coral UV product warranty is offered by Innosense International Inc. Throughout this warranty,
the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Innosense International Inc.
We do not authorize anyone, including, but not limited to, Retailers, the subsequent consumer
purchaser of the product from a Retailer, or remote purchasers, to obligate us in any way beyond the
terms set forth herein. We warrant our products to be free from substantial defects in workmanship
and materials under normal household use in accordance with the instructions for warranty period
following the date of purchase. We will, at our discretion, replace or repair any item requiring service.
This warranty shall not apply to damage arising from neglect, accidental damage, or commercial use
of the product. This is a limited warranty which extends only to consumers and does not extend to
Retailers. Liability for consequential damages is expressly excluded. Proof of purchase is required.
Warranty Period
We provide one (1 year for Coral UV Sanitizer and Dryer. The Warranty Period starts at the date of
retail and/or online purchase of the product by the original end-user purchaser from an authorized
retailer.
Replacement/Credit
If the product fails to meet the limited warranty conditions during the warranty period, we will, at our
option, replace the product free of charge or provide you with a replacement of comparable value.
Any replacement may be conditioned upon the return of the defective product to us at your own
expense unless we receive the request for warranty service within 10 days of retail purchase or within
10 days of receiving the product for online purchase.
What Our Limited Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty is effective only if the product is operated in the country in which it was purchased. A
product that requires modifications or adaptation to enable it to operate in any other country than the
country for which it was designed, manufactured, approved and/or authorized, or repair of products
damaged by these modifications, is not covered under this warranty. We offer this limited warranty
only when the product is used by the original end-user consumer. We offer no other warranty.
Additionally, while our warranty is excellent, there are other limits to it. We offer NO WARRANTY in
cases of damage in transit, inadequate care or neglect, abuse, abnormal use, accidents, normal wear
and tear, damage due to environmental or natural elements, failure to follow product instructions,
immersion in water, water damage to the base product due to misuse, improper installation, improper
storage or maintenance of the product or improper service, or causes not arising out of defects in
materials and workmanship.

Disclaimer of Other Warranties
The Express Warranties in the preceding section are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties.
However, to the extent applicable law does not permit disclaimers of certain implied warranties, such
warranties are limited to the warranty period identified above. Some states and countries do not allow
limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
Limitation on Damages
In no event shall we be liable for incidental, compensatory, punitive, consequential, indirect, special, or
other damages. Our aggregate liability with respect to a defective product is limited to the monies
paid to us.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary
