The concrete for the foundations must be prepared in accordance with the strength class conforming to German
standard C 25/30 (B 25), f ok,cube = 30N/mm2. The concrete must have a flowing consistency.
The concrete must be compacted during grouting by vibration, tamping, beating or puddling. In the post area,
compacting must be carried out with special care. Please note the specified setting times.
The concrete for the post foundations is to be built into the foundation holes WITHOUT formwork, if there is solid
ground. If foundations have to be produced with formwork, the ground surrounding around shoul be well
compressed after moulding.
The measurements of the foundations = 1.20 x 1.20 x 0.70m
centre of steel post to steel post = 6.00m
centre of foundation to foundation = 6.00m
have to be strictly followed, maximum deviation ± 2 cm
The post have to be set up into the foundation holes before concreting. Please take care that the posts are placed
vertically.
To make the installation easier and faster two ductworks (for example PE pipes) can be set into the concrete blocks
(provided on site). Please ensure that the inner diameter is sufficient [min. Ø 250mm]. After the foundations have
hardened, the post have to be placed upright in the conduits. In a second work step the space between the empty
pipe and post has to be filled up with concrete.
All concrete foundations must be covered with minimum 40cm of impact attenuating material. The upper edges of
the foundations must be well bevelled or rounded off. In no case water may collect on the surface of the
foundations. Also by usage of rubber surfacing an overall coverage of 40cm has to be considered.
The indicated dimensions for the post foundations apply only to solid ground of average weight-bearing capacity. In
case of new earth filling and loose ground the foundation dimensions have to be increased.
