User Manual HP 2000XT
Intended use
The HP 2000XT is developed and intended for water damage restoration, creating an air flow suitable for
drying of insulation in framed floors or walls. The HP 2000XT has two speeds, corresponding to 1500 m3/h
and 500 m3/h respectively.
The inlet to the fan faces the floor and on its back it has one 100mm outlet and six 50 mm outlets to allow
for the air to be distributed through hoses as required.
The HP 2000XT is robust and has rubber feet to prevent scratching or discoloring the floors. It is equipped
with an electromechanical hour counter alt. Time/Kwh meter.
When the air must be filtered, the HP 2000XT can be used together with the Flexifilter HEPA H13.

Safety information
This equipment can be used by children aged eight (8) years or above and people with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or with lack of experience and knowledge provided they have been given
instructions and information on how it is safely used and that they understand the hazards involved.
Children must not be allowed to play with the equipment. Cleaning and maintenance must not be
performed by children without supervision.
Electrical installations made in connection with the installation of the HP 2000XT shall be made by
authorized personnel in accordance with local and national regulations.
Furthermore, the following warnings and instructions shall be read and observed:
1. The fan is intended for indoor use only.
2. The fan must not be powered until the installation is finished in accordance with this manual.
3. The powered fan must not be covered as this can lead to overheating and fire hazard.
4. The fan must not be used as table, trestle, pallet or stool.
5. The fan must not be used to step or stand on.
6. Oil, fat, solvents, boracol or similar substances must not be drawn into the fan.
7. The fan must not be used in spaces where explosive gases can be present.
8. Do not stick objects into the air outlets or intakes as this can cause damage to the machinery as
well as human injury.
9. Install the fan steadily and leveled so that it cannot fall over.
10. Keep children, animals and spectators away from the work place while installation is undertaken.
11. If the fan is broken, if the power connector or the cable is damaged, contact the retailer. Do not
repair the equipment if you have not received specific training by the manufacturer.
12. Be careful not to damage the power cable. The cable must not go through water or pass sharp
edges.
13. Never carry or tow the fan by its cable.
14. To use electrical equipment in humid or wet environment can be dangerous. Never power the fan
if it is standing in water.
15. The dryer must only be connected to grounded power outlet with voltage and frequency in
accordance with fan nameplate.
16. A residual-current device / ground fault circuit interrupter should be used to minimize the risk of
electric shocks.
17. Water must not come in contact with the electrical components of the equipment. If this has
happened, ensure that the equipment is dry before it is used again.
18. The power must always be disconnected before the fan is opened.
19. Air hoses/pipes that are used with the fan must be corrosion-resistant and able to withstand 80°C
heat.
20. Repairs and maintenance of the electronics and the electrical system of the fan must only be
made by qualified electrician.
21. The fan must never be used with any other accessories than those listed in this manual or those
specifically approved by Corroventa Avfuktning AB.

Drying method – Pressure drying
The HP 2000XT is a radial fan that provides a substantial air flow, making it suitable for air distribution as
well as drying of framed floors and walls and constructions with permeable insulation where air flows are
easily achieved. When used to this purpose, the fan is preferably installed as depicted below to achieve a
pressure drying effect.
Pressure drying
The dry air from the dehumidifier is led through hose to the HP 2000XT so that it is close to the fan inlet.
To the outlets, hoses are connected to feed the dry air into the construction. This way, a pressure drying
effect is achieved, pushing the dry and warm air into the construction. As this increases the vapour
pressure difference it also increases the drying speed.
Note: Pressure drying can cause release of fibers/particles from the construction into the ambient air. If
that is a potential problem, precautions such as sealing off the space with plastic foil and use of air
scrubbers etc. must be taken or, alternatively, a suction drying approach applied instead using filters and
a turbine, higher pressure fan.
For efficient air cleaning, the HP 2000XT can also be used together with the Flexifilter HEPA H13.
Pressure drying. The radial fan is fed with dry air from the
dehumidifier and
pushes this air into the construction.

Accessories
When filtering is required, the HP2000XT is designed to be used with the Flexifilter H13, a compact and
lightweight filter unit capable of cleaning large volumes of air. H13 rated, its degree of separation exceeds
99.95% for up to 1080m3 / h. The unit also includes a carbon filter layer for removing bad odours.
Installation
1. Put the HP 2000XT where it shall be used and connect the hoses, if any, that are to be used for
the air distribution.
2. Connect the cable to a 1-phase, 230 VAC socket with a 10A or maximum 16A fuse. As the machine
is normally used in humid or wet spaces, the use of a ground fault circuit interrupter is strongly
recommended.
3. Put the power switch in position On and select fan speed, high or low.
4. Verify that the correct air flows are achieved.
