Throughoutthismanualyou will noticethatthe everydayoperation ofyourSTBis
based on aseriesofuserfriendlyon screen displayand menus.Thesemenuswill
helpyou getthe mostfromyourSTB,guiding you through installation,channel
organizing,viewing and manyotherfunctions.
All functionscan be carried outusing the buttonson the RCU,and someofthe
functionscan alsobe carried outusing the buttonson the frontpanel.
If atanytimewhen using the menusyou wanttoreturntothe normalTVmode,press
the TV/AVbutton.
Pleasebe awarethatnewsoftwaremaychange the functionalityofthe receiver.

Thissection explainsthe installation ofthe receiver.Refertothe manualssupplied
withthe equipmentforthe installation ofoutdoorequipmentsuchasthe dishantenna.

3Menu Information
Onceyou haveinstalled and connected the cablesofthe
receiver,the menu will be displayed.

keyshowsthe Drop DownListBox.You can alsousethe

1.Antenna:You can selectamaximumof16 antennaswith
the combination switches.
2.Type:Selectyourantenna type tobe DiSEqC1.2.
3.Satellite:Selectfirstsatelliteyou want.
4.LNB Type:SelectyourLNBtype.If you haveuniversal
LNB,selectUniv.
5.LNB Freq.:Enterthe properLNBfrequency referring to
yourLNBusing the numerickeys on the RCU orusethe KEY
PADdisplayed bypressing OKkey.
If you haveadualLNB,enterthe propervalue inthe value box.
6.Switches (0/12 Volt,22KHzTone,DiSEqC):You can
selectthe switcheswithwhichyou wanttoconfigurethe
antenna.
7.C/Kuband control:You can selectC/Kuband controlby
selectiing the switchtype.
4.1.1EastWestLimit
Onselecting LimitSetup button,the LimitSetup menu will
pop up.Pressing the keyon the RCU continuouslywill take
you tothe easternmostpoint. Press the OKkeyon the RCU.
The message “Wouldyou like tosetEastlimitofDiSEqC
motor?”will be displayed foryourconfirmation.Placecursor
on the OKbutton on the screen and press OKkeyon the RCU
toconfirmthe Eastlimit.
TosetWestlimit, followthe samestepsasEastlimit.

4.1.2ResetDiSEqClimit
If you wanttoresetthe EastlimitorWestlimit, placethe
cursoron ResetDiSEqCLimitbutton andthen press OKkey
on the RCU.The message “Wouldyou like toresetlimit
forDiSEqCpositioner?”willbe displayedforyourconfirmation.
SelectOKbutton bypressing OKkeyon the RCU.The cursor
will movetothe Eastlimitbutton sothatyou can resetthe
limit. ToresetWestlimitsfollowthe samestepsasEast
limits.
SelectEXITtofinishantenna setup.The message “Areyou
suretochangetheconfiguration ofAntennasetup?”will
be displayed.SelectOKbutton on the screen and then wait
forthe datatobe saved.

1.Antenna:You can selectamaximumof16 antennaswith

2.Satellite:Selectdesired satelliteusing keys.
Pressing the okkeywill alsodisplayalistofsatellites.You
can see the information ofthe selected satelliteon the right
side.
EditMode:If you wanttoeditcertainpreprogrammed data
suchasTransponder,Frequency,SymbolRate,Polarization
and 22 KHz,press EditModekey(Redcolorkey)on the
RCU.

3.Position :Afterselecting asatellite,pleaseselectPosi-
tion button and then keep pressing orkeyon the RCU
until the selected satelliteislocked.If the satelliteislocked
correctly,thecolorofthe signallabelbarwill change toyellow.
When you press okkeyon the RCU,the message “Would
you like tosetthevalueofcurrentpositioner?”will be
displayed.
4.Transponder:Selectdesired transponderusing keys.
Pressing the okkeywill displayaDownListBoxwhichalso
letsyou selectthe desired transponder.
5.Frequency &SymbolRate:Editthe Frequency and Sym-
bolRate.
6.Polarization :SelectHororVer.
7.22KHz:SelectONorOFF.
8.Allowsyou tosearchchannelsbyusing the arrowkeys.
·Search1Sat: Searchchannelsforone satellite,
whichhasbeen selected fromthe Satellitecolumn.
·SearchTP:Searchchannelsinone TP,whichhas
been selected fromthe TPcolumn.
·SearchNetwork:Searchchannelsforthe network
related tothe TP.
The STBwill automaticallysearchchannelsforTVand Radio.
During thisprocedureyou can see alistofthe previously
searched channelsinthe Searched ListBoxon the screen.
The divergenceofdisplayed satellitefrequency ±2MHzhas
no effectforuse,the receiverautomaticallytunesthe best
signal.Oncompletion ofsearching channels,the cursorwill
be placed on ViewCH automatically.Nowpress okbutton to
viewthe lastsearched channel.

9.SetPID:Ifyou wanttosetPID(PacketIdentifier) manually,
selectTPinthe “ChannelSearchPage”and press MENU key
on the RCU todisplaythe command box.Then selectSET
PIDcommandandpressok.ThesetPIDmenuwill be displayed.
Enterthe correctvalue and selectok.
10.Satnameedit: If youwanttochange the satellitename,
selectthe satelliteand press SatNameEditkey(Yellow
colorkey)on the RCU todisplaythe command box.The key-
pad dialog willappear.Using the arrowkeys on the RCU,you
can editthe satellitename.
11.DeleteTP:If you wanttodeleteaTransponder,please
selectthe Transponderwhichyou wanttodeleteand then
press MENU keyon the RCU todisplaythe command box.
Then selectDeleteTPcommand.Aconfirmmessage boxwill
be displayed.
12.Re-Sync:When all the locationsofsearched satellites
areshifted foranyreason,you can realign all ofthemonce
you adjusted one satellitelocation.
13.Goto0”forDiSEqC1.2:When you install the motor
ofDiSEqC1.2antenna,you can selectthisfunction tomove
the centerofthe antenna to0℃.
14.SearchOption :The STBallowsyou tosearchchannels
withconvenientoptionsasshownbelow.

4.4ChannelSearch–2)Fixed
1.Antenna:Selectyourantenna number.
2.Satellite:Selectdesired satelliteusing arrowskeys.
Pressing the okkeywill alsodisplayalistofsatellites.
You can see the information ofthe selected satelliteon the
rightside.
EditMode:Ifyou wanttoeditpreprogrammed datasuchas
Transponder,Frequency,SymbolRate,Polarization and 22
KHz,pleasepress EDITmode key(Redcolorkey)on the
RCU todisplaythe command box.You can then moveinto
thosecolumnstochange the value.
3.PleaserefertoSection 20,List4to14 forthe remaining
options.
4.5SystemSetting
The SystemSetting menu allowsyou tosetitems
depending on yourenvironment.
1.OSDLanguage:Letsyou selectthe desired language.
2.AudioLanguage:Selectthe desired audiolanguage to
be intop priorityunderthe condition thatthislanguage is
supported bythe channel.

3.LNB power:If yourSTBisconnected tothe LNB,select
YES.ButifyourSTBisconnected toanotherreceiverthrough
Loop Through support, you shouldcheck whichreceiveris
connected directlytothe LNB.Incasethe otherreceiveris
directlyconnected tothe LNB,then selectOFF.
4.ScreenFormat: If yourTVsupports16:9screen format
and selected channelprovides16:9formatprogram,select
16:9.
5.Videooutput: If yourSCARTsupportsRGBcontrol,
selectRGB.OtherwiseselectCVBS.
6.TVtype:Selectthe type according toyourTVtype.
7.StartOnChannel:If you press okkey,then the channel
listisdisplayed.You can selectone channelfromthe list. The
selected channelstartswheneveryou turnon the receiver.
8.UHFStandard:SelectUHFtype.
9.UHFChannel:Selectyourdesired UHFchannelforsatel-
litemode.
Note:IncountrieswhereUHFisnotused,optionsinList8
and 9will be deleted.
4.6ParentalLock
Thisfunction allowsyou tolock the channelwithapassword
inordertopreventchildren fromaccessing the channel.
You can alsoprotectyourinstalled dataand information using
the Install Lock.

1.Enterthe currentpassword.
2.SelectONofParentalLock.
3.Enternewpassword.
4.Confirmyournewpasswordentering newpasswordagain.
Note:Defaultpasswordis0000.
Warning:Onceyouchange the password,pleasekeepitsafely.

1.Toactivateparentlock function,go tothe TVchannelMan-
agerPage.
2.Press Lock key(Blue colorkey)on the RCU.
3.Selectthe channelwhichyou wanttoLock.
Press okthen

1.Enterthe currentpassword.
2.SelectONofInstall Lock
3.Enternewpassword
4.Confirmyournewpasswordentering newpasswordagain
5.Exitthismenu.
6.Selectanymenu and press OKon the RCU .
7.Then the EnterPasswordboxwill be displayed.
8.Unless you enterthecorrectpassword,you can notrun any
menu.
