central
horizontal
split-image
rangefinder,
which
is
surrounded
by
a
microprism
collar.

To focus accurately:

the
split-image
rangefinder
on
your
key
subject
and
tu
rn
the
focusi
ng
ring

until
the
upper
and
lower
portions
of
your
subject
become
one

clear
vertical
image.

The
microprism
collar
will

frag-
mented
when
image
is
entirely
out
of
focus,

appear
collar
shimmer

but
viewable

nearly

focus

display
a
sharp

scale

which
allows
you
to
select
the
zone

focus

will
appear in
the

EXPOSURE COMPENSATION
Certain
scenes,
where
the
sun
is
behind
the
subject
or
the
background
is
very
bright
(such
as
snow
or
sand)
will
cause a
foreground
subject
ta
be
underexposed.
Sonnetimes,
this
silhouette
effect
can be
very
desirable,
but
usually,
you
want
your
subject
ta
be
properly
exposed.
Under
such
conditions,
set
the
Selector
Dia! (4)
"+1"
or
"+2"
ta
compensate
the
exposure
of
your
subject.

If,
on
the
other
hand,
the
back
ground
of
your
subject
is
dark
or
colored
in
black,
set

TIME
EXPOSURE
When
making
ti
me
exposure
photographs,
your
camera
should
always be
tripod-mounted
and
used
with
a
locking
cable release.
For
the
time
exposure
of
over
8 seconds in

SELFTIMER
The
selftimer
delays the
tripping
of
the
shutter
mechanism
for
approximately
10
seconds,
allowing
you
to
include
yourself
in
the
photo-
graph
when
desired.
To
activate
the
selftimer
:
1.
Fix
your
camera
on
a
tripod.
2.
Advance
the
film
and
compose
the
scene.
3.
Put
the
eyepiece cap
on
the
eyepiece.
The
eyepiece cap can be inserted
into
the
acces-
sory
shoe
when
not
being used.

position
.

Your
CS-2

designed
to
be
coupled
with
Cosina
Auto-winder
which
enables
you
to
take
approximately
2 frames
per
second
at
the
maximum
shutter
speed.
The
auto-winder
is
powered
by
4 pcs.
of
readily
available
AA
size

kali
ne
battery.
To
photograph
with
the winder:
1.
Couple
the
w·
inder
with
the
camera
body.

Tighten
the
screw.

the
switch
to
"ON"
position
. The
winder
advances
the
film,

previously

4.
Set
the
exposure
and
locus.
5. Depress

The
winder
will

start
advancing

film.
At
this
moment
if
you
release
your
linger
from
the
release
button,
only
a single
shot

made.
If

keep depressing
it,
continuous
shots
at
a
rate

2 frames per second can

6. When
you
have
finished
exposing
the
last
frame

your
film
cassette,
take
procedure
as
described
in
"REMOVING
FILM"

need
not
remove

winder

body
when
removing

Einstellen der Filmempfindlichkeit
Um
einwandfrei
belichtete
Aufnahmen
zu
erhalten,
muss das
automatische
Belichtungs-
steuerungs-System
lhrer
CS-2
auf
die
Empfind-
lichkeit
des
verwendeten
Films
in
ASA
tabelle
(30)
eingestellt
werden
. Diese
Empfindlichkeit
ist
auf
der
Verpackung
des
Films
angegeben.
Einstellen der Filmempfindlichkeit
1. Heben Sie den
Randelring
des Fenster
Emp-
findlichkeit
(4) nach
oben
.
2.
Und
drehen
Sie diesen nach
links
oder
rechts bis Sie
die
entsprechende
ASA-Zahl
gegenüber
dem
grünen 1
ndexstrich
haben.
3. Lassen Sie
dann
den
Ring los, sa dass er
wieder
einrasten kann.
Die
Empfindlichkeit
ist
damit
eingestellt.

Die
Einstellung
über
den
Mikrop
ri
smenring
empfiehlt
sich,
wenn

Motiv
keine
vertikalen
Linien
vorhanden
sind. (Bei denen
die
Einstel-
lung
mittels
Schnittbildfleck
am
sichersten ist.)

Die

Einstellscheibe
kann

Kom

Scharfeinstellung
benützt
werden.
Da das
menschliche
Auge Spiege-
labweichungen
nicht
absolut
sicher feststel-
len
kann,
empfiehlt
es
sich, genaue
Ein

stellungen
über
Schnittbildfleck
oder
Mikro-
prismenring
vorzunehmen.
