BlueSTAR PnP - Class 2
Quick Start Guide
Thank you for purchasing the BlueSTAR PnP from CoSTAR Technologies. You will
soon be using your existing cell phone to communicate han s free using your
existing vehicle electronics.
Installation is easy. Simply follow the steps below, an feel free to contact us

Step 1. Connect the BlueSTAR PnP to
the HF850 junction box as shown
below. It’s best to tie wrap them
together so that they o not shake
loose.
Step 2. Locate your onstar VIU or
VCIM. It can be locate beneath the
rear seat, behin the glove box, or in
the trunk epen ing on your vehicle.
Step 3. Disconnect the onstar an
connect the BlueSTAR PnP as shown.
You can tie wrap it in place or use
ouble si e tape either works well.
Just keep the BlueSTAR boar away
from any metal where it might short
out. Replace any covers you might
have remove to access the onstar
mo ule.

Step 4. Pair your phone to the
HF850. Follow phone specific
instructions to link your phone. The
passkey / access co e for the HF850
is 0000.
Step 5. A just volume if necessary.
The HF850 mo ule volume can be
a juste by pressing the RED
Emergency button (mute) for three
secon s until the LED turns RED. You
can then use the White an Blue
buttons to a just the HF850 efault
volume. You will hear beep tones
while oing this. Press the Re key to
save this setting.
Step 6. Call a love one. Press the
white key to make a call. Press the
