I.Removethefireplacefromthebox.
II.Removeallthepackagingandplaceitinsidetheboxand
eitherstoreordisposeofsafely.
III.Priortoinstallation,pleaseensure:
1.Theratedvoltageofyourfireplacefitstheoutput
voltageofyouroutlet;
2.Thelightbulbsinyourfireplaceisingood
condition.Forcheckingthis,pleasefollowthe
instructionsforreplacingthelightbulbsonsection
MAINTENANCE.
IV.Theheateronyourfireplacemayemita slight,harmless
odorwhenfirstused.Thisodorisa normalcondition
causedbytheinitialheatingofinternalheaterpartsand
willnotoccuragain.

1.Readallinstructionsbeforeusingthisfireplace.
2.Thisfireplaceishotwheninuse.Toavoidburns,donot
letbareskintouchhotsurfaces,suchassurfacesnearthe
fireplaceoutletorlightbulbs.Keepcombustiblematerials,
suchasclothes,pillows,furniture,bedding,papersand
curtainsatleast3 feetfromthefrontoftheunit.Donot
coverorblockfireplaceoutletoranyventilationorexhaust
openingatanytime.Donotuseonsoftoruneven
surfaceswhereopeningsmaybecomeblocked.
3.Extremecautionisnecessarywhenanyfireplaceisused
byornearchildrenorinfants.
4.Fireplaceshouldneverbeleftunattended.
5.Donotinstallthefireplacedirectlyoncarpetora similar
surface,whichmayrestrictaircirculationbeneaththeunit.
6.Alwaysunplugfireplacewhennotinuse.
7.Todisconnectfireplace,turncontrolsoff,thenremove
plugfromoutlet.
8.Donotuseoutdoors.
9.Thisfireplaceisnotintendedforuseinwetlocations,such
asbathrooms,laundryareasandsimilarindoorlocations.
Neverlocatefireplacewhereitmayfallintowater
containerfrom.
10.Donotoperatethefireplacewitha damagedcordorplug,
orifthefireplacehasmalfunctioned,orifthefireplacehas

least40inchesawayfromthefireplace.

electricshockorfire,ordamagethefireplace.
14.Topreventa possiblefire,donotblockairintakesor
exhaustinanymanner.Donotuseonsoftsurfaces,likea
bed,whereopeningsmaybecomeblocked.
15.Allelectricalfireplaceshavehotandsparkingpartsinside.
Donotuseitinareaswheregasoline,paint,orflammable

Installation
Thissectionprovidesstep-by-stepinstructionsforinstallationof
yourfireplace.
WARNING
Theoutletmustbe15A/125V.
CAUTION
Donotremovethefourrubberfeetatthebottomofthe
fireplaceinsertorinstallthefireplaceinsertdirectlyonsoft
surfaces,whichmayrestrictaircirculation.Otherwise,it
maycausea riskoffireordamage.
1.Selecta suitablelocation,whichisnotsusceptibletomoisture,
safe,dustfree,awayfromhightrafficandawayfromthings
maycatchfireorblockopeningssuchasdrapes,furniture,etc.
NOTE
Thisfireplaceisbuilt-inapplianceandforhousehold
useonly.
Itisa goodideatoplaceyourfireplacenearan
existingoutlet,foreaseofelectricalhookup.
2.Placethefireplaceinthedesiredlocationtoseehowitwill
lookintheroom.
3.Placethemantelinthedesiredlocationorbuilda wall
constructioninthedesiredlocation.

6.Makesurethefireplaceinsertisswitchedoff(referto
operationinstructionsection).
7.Plugthefireplaceintoa 15A/125Voutlet.Wiringthecordalong
thecornerofwall.
8.Pushthefireplaceinsertintoplacesothatthepanelandthe
finishedmantelsurroundorwallsurfaceareinthesameplane.
Instructionforuse
Thefireplacecanbeoperatedeitherwiththeswitcheslocatedonthe
toprighthandsideofthefireplaceorwiththesuppliedremotecontrol.
ManualOperation
•Thisisdonebyoperating
theswitcheslocatedatthe
bottomrighthandsideof
thefire.Thestandbyswitch
mustfirstbeswitchedon.
Thefireplacewillbeepto
indicatethatitispowered

up.
•Presstheon/offbuttononcetoturnonthefireplacewithfire
effect.A redindicatorlightwillilluminatetoindicatethatthe
fireplaceison.
•Pressthelowbuttononce,tolowertheheat;presstwiceto
switchofftheheatcompletely.
•Pressthehighbuttononcetoincreasetheheat;presstwice
toswitchofftheheatcompletely.
•Pressthedimmerbuttontooperatethedimmermode.
Repeatedpressingwillautomaticallyraiseandlowerthe
brightnessofthefireeffect.
RemoteOperation
•Thestandbyswitchmustfirstbe
switchedon.Thefireplacewillbeep
toindicatethatitispoweredup.
•Ittakesa littletimeforthereceiver
torespondtothetransmitter.Donot
pressthebuttonsmorethanonce
withintwoseconds,forthefireplace
tooperatenormally.
•Presstheon/offbuttononcetoturn
onthefireplacewithfireeffect.
•Pressthelowbuttononce,tolower
theheat;presstwicetoswitchofftheheatcompletely.
•Pressthehighbuttononce,toincreasetheheat;presstwice
toswitchofftheheatcompletely.
•Pressthedimmer+buttontooperatethedimmermodeto
raisethebrightnessofthefireeffect.
•Pressthedimmer-buttontooperatethedimmermodeto
lowerthebrightnessofthefireeffect..

•PresstheLampbuttonisonoroffthebrightnessofthefire
effect.
SafetyCut-Off
•Thisfireplaceisequippedwithsafetycut-offfeaturewhichwill
operateifthefireplaceoverheats(e.g.Duetoblockedair
vents).Forsafetyreasons,thefireplacewillNOT
automaticallyrestart.
•Torestartthefireplace,disconnectitfromthepowersupply
foratleast15minutes.Reconnecttothepowersupplyand
switchonthefireplace.

Lightbulbsneedtobereplacedwhenyounoticea darksectionof

theflameorwhentheclarityanddetailofthelogexterior
disappears.Therearetwobulbsunderthelogset.
WARNING
Allowatleast5 minutesforlightbulbstocooloffbefore
touchingbulbstoavoidburningofskin.

Quantityof2 clearchandelierorcandelabrabulbswithan
E-12socketbase,ratingvoltage125volts,ratingpower
40watts.
CAUTION
Donotexceed40wattsperbulb
II.Operation
1.Openthelightbulbarea:
Thelightbulbareaisatthebackofelectricfireplace,
see"E". thereare4 screwsonit.loosenthescrewby
sometool,thenyoucanopenit.(Figurebelow)
2.Examinethebulbstodeterminewhichbulbsrequire
replacement.
3.Removeoldbulbandreplacea newone.Holdthe
socketwhileunscrewingorscrewingbulbs.(Figure
below)
4.Replacethecoveroflightbulbs.
5.Done.

cleaningthefireplace.
•Forgeneralcleaningusea soft,cleanduster.Neveruse
harshabrasivesorcleaners.Theglassscreenshouldbe
cleanedcarefullywitha softcloth.DONOTuse
