Operations and Controls
Normal Operating Sounds:
This Curidor™ uses a closed loop cooling system that is compressor based. The compressor
pumps coolant through the specifically designed cooling system which cools the space inside
without removing moisture from within the space. The compressor can generate normal operation
sounds. The following can occur on occasion:
1. Gurgling sound, caused by the coolant flowing through the coils
2. Humming noise made by the compressor (this noise can get louder for brief periods when
the motor is switching on.
3. Crackling/popping sounds. These result from the material’s contraction and expansion due
to temperature differentials.
4. An occasional thumping sound from the compressor starting/finishing its cycle.
5. Fan operation. Humming sound from internal fans cycling the air inside the Curidor™.
6. Unusual noise if typically due to improper installation. Please refer to the installation
procedures to verify all steps were completed.
7. Noise can be increased from architectural settings which increase the level of noise,
echos, or reverberation from normal operation.
Note: An individual’s perception of noise is directly linked to the environment in which the unit is
located in, as well as the specific type of Curidor™ model. Our Curidor™ units are in line with
international standards for such appliances and in line with the latest technical developments.
Please remember that the noise is of the compressor and coolant circulation.

Care and Maintenance
Energy Saving Tips:
●The Curidor™ Pro should be located inside a standard room-temperature space, away
from heat producing appliances, and out of direct sunlight.
● It is best to locate the Curidor™ in the coolest (temperature) space in your dwelling.
● Ensure the Curidor™ Pro has adequate ventilation, and never obstruct its coils, or interior
vents.
● Be sure to close the door tightly and do not
open the Curidor™ for any long period of time
without going through the proper procedure of removing its contents, cleaning, and drying
the inside of the unit. Failure to do so can result in producing a higher level of humidity
than is specified levels its engineered to create.
● Store your contents in an organized fashion so that removing a desired item can be done
efficiently with minimal variation of the temperature and humidity inside the unit.
● Do not overfill or block the vents inside the unit, as it will inhibit air circulation, cause the
unit to overwork and void its warranty.
Transporting the Curidor™ Pro:
1. The ideal packaging for the Curidor™ Pro is its original packaging it comes in. Being that it
may be hard to store that amount of packaging indefinitely, we recommend breaking the
bok down and saving the styrofoam as best as possible.
2. The Curidor™ Pro has two rollers which allow the unit to be rolled in a backwards direction
when facing the door.
3. Lock the door to the unit.
4. Firmly grasp the unit from the front side (door side), with one hand on either corner
towards the top.
5. Apply slight pressure, and the unit will rotate onto its rollers and start to roll backwards in
the direction you are applying pressure.
Defrosting the Curidor™ Pro:
● Under specified ambient conditions, the Curidor™ Pro will not need to be defrosted.
● In colder than specified ambient conditions, frost can build up due to excessive humidity
levels.
To Defrost the Curidor™ Pro:
1. Power the unit “OFF”
2. Unplug the unit
3. Remove all contents from within the unit
4. Leave the door to the unit open to allow the frost to melt.

7. Plug the unit back into its power source
8. Place the contents back inside the Curidor™
9. Power the Curidor™ back on, and set your desired Level.
10. Close the door to the unit and let the Curidor™ rebuild its specified temperature
and humidity levels.

Installation and Operation Guide
How to use your Curidor™:
Preserving organic material is an Art.
Terpene Volatility is Science.
Combining Science with the Art of preservation is “Curing”.
● The Primary Drying Phase is the initial post-harvest process of removing the majority of
moisture from the organic material. The duration of this process can differ depending on
the material’s density, volume, and influence of ambient conditions, but most often takes
between 0 and 10 days. Using dehumidifiers, fans, or ideally a CurePro™ system, to dry
the material in a controlled space, this phase removes the majority of the material’s
moisture content.
● The Secondary Drying Phase, is the phase when the moisture which remains deep inside
the material is removed slowly, and the material’s exposure to ambient air is diminished.
Using large containers or vessels a technique commonly referred to as “burping”, is used
to expel the residual moisture by frequently opening the container to allow a brief
exchange of air. This “burping” process is best accomplished by storing the container
inside your Curidor™ to protect the volatile terpenes and precious characteristics (color,
flavor, and potency of the medicinal constituents) of the material from degradation.
This process will vary greatly depending on the varietal, density, and volume of the
material, but typically takes between 10-20 days. *This is where you become the artist: by
controlling the burping frequency and duration.
● Storage: Upon completion of the drying process to your preferred moisture content
(most often between 9-12%), the material is finally ready to be stored:
1. Consolidate your dried material into varietals and quantities that correlate with your
preferred consumption.
2. Using impermeable containers (water and air tight), fill the containers with the
material which you are wishing to store.
3. Be sure to fill in a way that the material is not crushed, but is filling/occupying the
space of the container as best as possible.
Note: We recommend filling many smaller jars of the same product versus
fewer larger jars. This allows you to have a smaller quantity that you open
and consume at one time, ensuring the remainder of that batch of material
stays in optimal conditions and is not oxidized prematurely.
4. Seal the containers tightly, label, and place inside your Curidor™. Be sure to
organize your collection in a way that you easily understand. This will allow for
quick removal of product and avoiding frequent or long door openings, which can
offset humidity and temperature levels.
5. Enjoy your collection responsibly!
