. Press theSkip/Search button onceduring playback to skip to thebeginning of
the next track.Continue to press this button to skip forward to higher numbered
tracks until youreach the desired track.
. Press theSkip/Search button onceduring playback to skip to the beginning
of the currenttrack. Press twice to skip backto the beginning of the previous track.
Continue to press this button to skip backward to lower numbered tracks until
you reach thedesired track.
. Hold theSkip/search or buttons during playback to rapidly search
forward of backwardthrough the disc to locate aspecific passage within a track that
you wish tobypass or to hear again.
. High speedsearch continues as long as theSkip/Search or buttons are
depressed. Normal playbackresumes when the Skip/Search or buttons
are released.
NOTE: Tobegin playback of a disc on a specific track, wait until the player reads
the disc anddisplays the total track number,then press the Skip/Search or
buttons repeatedly untilthe desired track number is on the display. Press the
button to beginplayback on that track.
Repeat Playback
This function allows you to repeat either a single track or the entire disc continuously.
. To repeata single track - Select the track you wish to repeat and begin playback
on that track.Then press the REPEAT button once. The REPEAT indicator appears
in the displayand the selected track will berepeated continuously until you cancel
the repeat functionor press the Stop button.
.To repeatthe entire disc - Press the REPEAT button until the “ REPEAT“ and “ ALL “
indicators appear in the display, then press the button to beginplayback if
necessary. The entire disc will be repeated continuously.
Tocancel Repeat Playback press the REPEAT button until the REPEATindicator no
longer appears inthe display. Repeat can also be cancelled by pressing the Stop
button, opening the CD door,or switching the FUNCTION Selector to TAPE
(OFF).
Skip/Search or Buttons
Programmed Playback
The CD Playerin this unit has a 32track programmable memory which allows you
to program upto 32 tracks on any discfor playback in any desired order. To program
tracks for playbackthe player must be in theStop mode. If the disc is playing, press
the Stop buttonto stop playback and then proceed as follows:
STEREO HEADPHONE JACK
Connect the stereoheadphones to the 3.5mm PHONES jacklocated at left top panel
for private listening. When the headphones are connected, the sound from the
speakers will automaticallycut off. Before putting the headphones on your head,
reduce the volumeto a low level. Then putthe headphones on and gradually increase
the volume toa comfortable listening level.
(1) Press thePROGRAM button once. The PROG.
(Program) indicator beginsflashing in the display
and the 01 appears indicating that you should
select the trackthat you wish to enter intoprogram
memory number 1.
(2) Use the or buttons to select the first
track to beprogrammed. Example: Track 7. 07
indicator flashes inthe display.
(3) Press the PROGRAM button again. This will store
track 7 intoprogram memory number 1.The display
will now selectthe track to be entered intoprogram
memory 2.
(4) Repeat steps (2.) And (3.) Until you have programmed up to a maximumof 32 tracks
into the programmemory.
(5) To begin Programmed Playback press the button. The PROGIndicator stops flashing
and remains On . The player will begin to play the tracksin the order that you selected.

Dynamic Bass BoostSystem (DBBS)
This special circuitprovides bass response, especially at lower volume levels
where the basshas a tendency to disappear.Set the DBBS button to ‘ On ‘
to increase thebass. Set the DBBS button to‘ Off ‘ for normal bass response.
Note: If youhave the DBBS circuit On at high volume and you are listeningto
music that containsvery strong bass, you may experiencesome distortion. If
this occurs, reducethe volume or switch the DBBSbutton Off .
