Welcome to Cy•Fi.
Cy•Fi is the world’s rst wireless sports speaker for biking, boating, camping or any activity
enhanced with a portable speaker. It is available in two models that support almost any
music-carrying device: one is the ultimate iPod accessory, and the other supports Bluetooth-
A2DP enabled cell phones, PDA’s and MP3 players.
Our goal was to devise a way to more safely enjoy your music in various outdoor settings
without the use of headphones. We plan on developing more models with additional features

Charging Your Cy•Fi Speaker
Charging
1. Connect the small end of the AC Power Adapter Connector
to your Cy•Fi Charging Stand.
2. Plug the AC Power Adapter into a power outlet.
3. Slide your Cy•Fi onto the Charging Stand.
4. Charge the battery to full power (approx. 2 hours).

Contents Of Cy•Fi Package
FUNCTIONS
Determine the diameter of where you would like to mount your Cy•Fi speaker 1.
and use either the small or large mounting bracket.
Loosen bracket by untwisting the locking key.2.
Wrap bracket around mounting surface. You may need to use the rubber 3.
spacers inside the bracket to get a snug t.
Close bracket so that the locking key inserts into the end of other side of 4.

When bracket is secure, use a Phillips head screw driver to tighten down 5.

Power On
Press and hold the Multi Function button
for 6 seconds. The Indicator Light will
become solid blue.
Pause The Music
Press the Multi Function button and release 1.

button until you reach desired position in
the song.
Rewind
Press and hold the (<<) Rewind button
until you reach desired position in the
song.
Power Off
Disconnect the Audio Transmitter from
your iPod. The unit will power off within 60
seconds.

How To Sync Multiple Cy•Fi Speakers For iPod
SPEAKERS
You can synchronize up to four Cy•Fi speakers.
Make sure your Cy•Fi speaker is off. Press and hold the Multi-Function button for about 1.
15 seconds. The Cy•Fi speaker will turn on and the Indicator Light will ash very fast.
Your Cy•Fi speaker is now in association mode.
Turn your iPod on and then plug the Cy•Fi Audio Transmitter into your iPod. The 2.
Indicator Light should begin to ash. Next, select your favorite track on your iPod and
press Play. Now press and hold the Association button on the Audio Transmitter for
about 5 seconds. The Indicator Light will ash very fast indicating that the transmitter is
in association mode.
Allow 20-30 seconds for the Audio Transmitter and Cy•Fi speaker to connect/pair. You 3.
should be able to hear music on your Cy•Fi speaker.
To sync another Cy•Fi speaker to the current playing transmitter and speaker, follow the
above steps but do not turn on/off your iPod. Once you turn on the additional Cy•Fi
speaker and get it into association mode, press and hold the Association button on the
Audio Transmitter for about 5 seconds. The Indicator Light will ash very fast indicating
that the Audio Transmitter is in association mode. Allow 20-30 seconds for the Audio
Transmitter and additional speaker to connect/pair.

Using Your Cy•Fi Speaker For Bluetooth

Press the Power On button for 6 seconds.

If your phone rings, you will hear it ring
through your Cy•Fi speaker. Press the
Answer button to answer the call and the
music will stop playing. When nished with
your call, press the Answer button again
to resume your music.

How To Sync Your Cy•Fi Speaker For Bluetooth
FUNCTIONS
Synchronize your A2DP-BT cell phone to a Cy•Fi Bluetooth 1.

Take your Cy•Fi charged speaker and hold down the Power 3.
On/Off button for 10 seconds. When the Indicator Light
ashes red and blue it is in pairing mode.
Your cell phone should display “Cy•Fi” as a pairing choice. 4.
Select “Cy•Fi” and click “OK” to add the Cy•Fi device. Enter
“0000” as a pass code.
Once your Cy•Fi is pair ed, follow the instructions on your cell 5.
phone for playing music. Find a favorite track and press play
on the phone. The music will play through your Cy•Fi speaker.
Once paired, you will not have to repeat the above steps 6.

WARRANTY
Between 1 Bluetooth stereo source and 1 Bluetooth mobile phone
Cy•Fi, LLC is pleased to provide this Limited Warranty for all of its products. By opening
your Cy•Fi product package you agree to be legally bound by this Limited Warranty.
If you do not agree with any term or condition of this Limited Warranty, do not use your
Cy•Fi product. Promptly return your Cy•Fi product in its package with proof of purchase
directly to Cy•Fi and your purchase price will be refunded.
WHAT IS COVERED
All parts defective in material and workmanship are covered. Defects that have resulted
from improper or unreasonable use or maintenance, accident, excess moisture, insects,
improper packing, lightning, power surges, or unauthorized tampering, alteration or
modication are not covered.
LIMITATION ON LIABILITY
WHERE PERMITTED, THE PROVISIONS OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY ARE IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER
WRITTEN WARRANTY, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WRITTEN OR ORAL, INCLUDING ANY
WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Not withstand-
ing the above, where applicable, if you qualify as a “consumer” under the Magnuson-
Moss Warranty Act, then you may be entitled to any implied warranties allowed by law
for the period of the express Limited Warranty as set forth below. Some states do not
allow limitations on how long an implied Limited Warranty lasts, so the above limitation
may not apply to you.

This Limited Warranty lasts six (6) months from the purchase date of your Cy•Fi product.
WHAT CY•FI WILL DO
Cy•Fi will, at its sole option, repair or replace any defective parts within a reasonable
period of time and free of charge.
WHAT CY•FI WILL NOT DO
Cy•Fi will not pay for shipping or transportation charges.

WARRANTY
WHAT YOU MUST DO TO OBTAIN LIMITED WARRANTY SERVICE
Send your Cy•Fi product with proof of purchase directly to Cy•Fi. The following proce-
dures must be followed: contact Cy•Fi at warranty@mycy.com for a warranty service
authorization number and shipping instructions. Products received by Cy•Fi without a
warranty service authorization number will be refused.
EXCLUSIVE REMEDY
This Limited Warranty is fully transferable provided that the current owner furnishes the
original proof of purchase from an authorized Cy•Fi dealer. THE MAXIMUM LIABILITY OF
Cy•Fi SHALL NOT EXCEED THE ACTUAL PURCHASE PRICE PAID BY YOU FOR THE Cy•Fi
PRODUCT. IN NO EVENT SHALL Cy•Fi BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUEN-
TIAL OR INDIRECT DAMAGES. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on the exclusion
or limitation of relief, special, incidental, consequential or indirect damages, or the
limitation of liability to specied amounts, so the above limitations or exclusions may not
apply to you.
OTHER CONDITIONS
This Limited Warranty gives you specic legal rights, and you may also have other
rights which vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. This Limited Warranty is void if the Cy•Fi
product serial number has been removed or defaced, or if the Cy•Fi product is not
purchased from an authorized dealer.
ARBITRATION
This Limited Warranty is governed by, and will be interpreted in accordance with, the
laws of the State of California, without regard to choice of law provisions. You agree
that all disputes relating to this Limited Warranty or your use of any Cy•Fi Product will be
resolved by condential binding arbitration in accordance with the then-current rules of
the American Arbitration As
sociation in Los Angeles, California , USA. The prevailing party in
any arbitration shall be entitled to recover all of its reasonable costs of the arbitration, including
attorneys’ fees and costs, from the non-prevailing party.
