mobile computing needs. To help you master the usage of your
new Tablet quickly, we have prepared this user guide. In this
manual you will find information on the system configuration,
basic operating instructions, and important notices. We have
done our best to avoid any errors in making sure that the
information provided in this manual is accurate and reliable.
However, due to the short length of the user guide it is
impossible to cover all topics in great depth. For this reason,
we apologize for any omissions you might find.
Cybernet is always trying to improve the performance and
reliability of its products. For that reason, the hardware and
software components shown within the user guide might not
perfectly match those of your system. However, any
inconsistencies between what is described in the user guide
and the operations of your Tablet should not substantially

Important Safety Information
This information can help you safely use your Tablet PC. Follow and retain all
information included with your Tablet. The information in this document does not
alter the terms of your purchase agreement.
Intended use:
The CyberMed T10C is intended to serve as a medical monitor which is designed
for general purpose for hospital environment and for diagnosis. It could be used
for PACS, LIS and Electronic Medical Record purposes. It shall not be used for
life-supporting system.
WARNING:
Critical diagnostic decision must not be based solely on images displayed by this
device.
Read this first
Tablets are electronic devices. Power cords, power adapters, and other features
can create potential safety risks that can result in physical injury or property
damage, especially if misused.
The safety risks are categorized as follows:
Danger:
Physical injury or even death may be caused.
Attention:
Property damage or even minor injury may be caused.
To protect yourself from hazards and create a safer Tablet work environment,
follow the instructions hereafter.
Unpack
Inspect the covers of the Tablet and the AC adapter, especially parts with the
following labels attached for any crack or damage.
Danger:
Hazardous voltage, current and energy levels are present inside any component
that has this label attached.

Workplace
Do NOT use the Tablet in humid places such as a bathroom.
Keep the Tablet and other parts away from liquids.
Danger:
An electric shock may be caused by spilled liquid.
Do NOT use the Tablet during a lightning storm.
Attention:
Lightning storms may damage the tablet and result in an electric shock.
Ensure your tablet and other components are used in areas with good
ventilation
Attention:
Placing the working Tablet or other parts on a bed, sofa or other flexible
surface may block the ventilation slots causing overheating of your Tablet
or other parts and increases the risk of fire.
Turn off wireless devices where they may cause interference, such as in a
hospital.
Correct usage procedures
Use ONLY the power cord and power adapter. Never use these devices with
another product.
Warning: To avoid risk of electric shock, this equipment must only be
connected to a supply mains with protective earth.
Be sure the power outlet is suitable for the plug and provides the correct
voltage and current for the product you are using.
Danger:
An unsuitable power supply may damage your Tablet and can cause an
electric shock or fire.
Do NOT use a power outlet, power cord and power adapter that appears to
be damaged or corroded.

Important Safety Information

Do NOT share an electrical outlet with other home or commercial appliances
that draw large amounts of electricity.
If power strips are used, the load should NOT exceed the power strip's input
rating. Unplug the power cord if there are any cracking, hissing, or popping
sounds, or if a strong odor comes from the Tablet.
Danger:
An unsuitable power supply may damage your Tablet and can cause an
electric shock or fire.
Do NOT wrap the power cord around the power adapter or other objects.
Do NOT squeeze or pinch the cord, or place heavy objects on it.
Attention:
Stressing the cord may cause the cord to fray, crack or crimp which may
present a safety hazard.
Avoid keeping your hands, your lap, or any other part of your body in contact
with a hot section of the working Tablet for any extended length of time.
Attention:
Extended contact with your body, even through clothing, could cause
discomfort or even a skin burn.
Do NOT drop, bump, scratch, hit or place heavy objects on the liquid crystal
display (LCD) of your Tablet.
Attention:
Direct contact with liquid crystal material from a broken LCD is hazardous; if
contact occurs, rinse with a large amount of running water for more than 15
minutes.

and the Enterprise model known as T10C Windows tablet.

Pressing the button 2 times in a second turns on
"Ctrl+Alt+Del" function.

Scan the barcode.
Note:
To scan a barcode, aim the barcode with the Scanner and then press Scanner
button to scan. Never press and hold the Scanner button for more than 3 seconds.
WARNING:
Never try to aim the scanner on any human eye, as this may cause discomfort
or even harm to the eye.

Connect the Tablet to the docking station
Secure the Tablet to the docking station:
Align the two arrows beneath the screen with two pins on the docking station.
Press the Tablet down, use the latch to secure the Tablet.

VESA ( Video Electronic Standard Association ) is an industrial compliance standard.
This standard includes hole patterns ( 75x75mm and 100x100mm ) on the back of
the Tablet that match the mounting device. A VESA wall mount is needed to mount
your Tablet safely to the wall or ceiling.

Connecting to the power
The battery is not fully charged at purchase. To charge the battery and begin
using your Tablet, connect the Tablet to an electrical outlet. The battery is
automatically charged while the Tablet is running on AC power.
Connecting the Tablet to an electrical outlet:
1.Connect Hospital Grade used Power Cord to the AC Adapter.
2.Connect the DC cable to the DC jack of the Tablet.
3.Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.

Turning on the Tablet
Press the power button to turn on the Tablet.

When you finish working with your Tablet, you can put it into sleep mode or shut

Connecting external devices
Your Tablet has a wide range of built-in features and connection capabilities.
Connecting a universal serial bus ( USB ) device
Your Tablet comes with four USB ports compatible with USB devices.
Note:When using a high power consumption USB device such as USB ODD,
use the external device’s power adapter. Otherwise, the device may not be
recognized, and system shutdown may result.
Connecting a Bluetooth enabled device ( Select models only )
If your Tablet has an integrated Bluetooth adapter card, it can connect to and transfer
data wirelessly to other Bluetooth enabled devices, such as notebook computers,
PDAs and cell phones. You can transfer data between these devices without cables
at up to 10-meter range in open space.
Notes:
When you are not using the Bluetooth function, turn it off to save battery power.
You need to pair the Bluetooth-enabled device with your Tablet before you can
transfer data between them. Read the documentation supplied with the
Bluetooth-enabled device for details on how to pair the device with your Tablet.
Disconnect Devices:
To fully disengage the power to the unit, please disconnect the power cord from the
AC inlet.
Using the Internet
As a global network, the Internet connects computers worldwide, providing services
such as e-mailing, information searching, electronic commerce, Web browsing and
entertainment.
You can connect the Tablet to the Internet in the following ways:
Wired connection: use physical wiring to connect.
Wireless network technology: connect without wiring.

Wired connection
Wired connections are a reliable and safe way to connect the Tablet to the Internet.
Cable Internet services use a cable modem connected to the residential
cable TV line.
DSL is a family of related technologies that bring high-speed network
access to homes and small businesses over ordinary telephone lines.

Wireless connection
Wireless connections provide mobile access to the Internet, allowing you to stay online
anywhere the wireless signal covers.
WiFi networks cover a small physical area, like a home, office, or small group of buildings.
An access point is necessary for the connection.
Using WiFi ( Select models only )
Your Tablet may be able to connect via WiFi to a network within your home or office.
Consult your router or wireless access equipment documentation for information on
how to connect devices wirelessly to the equipment.

Chapter 3. Troubleshooting
Troubleshooting
This section only describes problems that might negate the need to refer to the more
comprehensive information in Chapter 2.
Display problems
When I turn on the
Tablet, nothing appears
on the screen.
If the screen is blank, make sure that:
- The AC adapter is connected to the Tablet
and the power cord is plugged into a working
electrical outlet.
- The Tablet power is on. ( Press the power button
again for confirmation.)
- The memory is installed correctly.
If these items are properly set, and the screen
remains blank, have the Tablet serviced.
Restore backed-up files to your Windows
environment or the entire contents of your
hard disk to the original factory contents. If
you still see only the cursor on the screen,
have the Tablet serviced.
Your screen saver or power management may
be enabled. Do one of the following to exit from
the screen saver or to resume from sleep or
hibernation mode:
- Touch the screen.
- Press the power button.
When I turn on the
Tablet, only a white
cursor appears on
a blank screen.
My screen goes blank
while the Tablet is on.

Troubleshooting

Sleep or hibernation problems
The Tablet enters sleep
mode unexpectedly
If the processor overheats, the Tablet automatically
enters sleep mode to allow the Tablet to cool and
to protect the processor and other internal
components. Check the settings for sleep mode.
Make sure that:
- The battery is charged.
- The operating temperature is within the
acceptable range.
The Tablet enters sleep
mode immediately after
Power-on self-test ( POST ).
Note:If the battery is charged and the temperature is within range, have the Tablet
serviced.
The critical low-battery
error message appears,
and the Tablet immediately
turns off.
The Tablet does not return
from sleep mode and does
not work.
The battery power is getting low. Connect the AC
adapter to the Tablet.
If the Tablet does not return from sleep mode, it
may have entered hibernation mode automatically
because the battery is depleted. Check the power
indicator.
If your Tablet is in sleep mode, connect the AC
adapter to the Tablet, then press the screen or
the power button.
If your Tablet is in hibernation mode or power-off
state, connect the AC adapter to the Tablet, then
press the power button to resume operation.
Note:If the system still does not return from sleep mode, your system has stopped
responding, and you cannot turn off the Tablet, reset the Tablet. However,
unsaved data may be lost. To reset the Tablet, press and hold the power button
for 4 seconds or more. If the Tablet is still not reset, remove the AC adapter
and the battery.
CAUTION: Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Dispose of
used batteries according to the instructions.
