that you will appreciate the quality and reliability of this device, designed and
manufactured by putting customer satisfaction in the foreground.
Please read the operating instructions carefully, particularly
the safety precautions, before using the appliance. Keep this
manual along with the relative illustrative guide, for the entire
life span of the appliance, for consultation purposes. In case
the appliance is transferred to a third party, also consign the
entire documentation. Should certain parts of this booklet
be difcult to understand or should doubts arise, contact

SAFETY WARNINGS
This appliance is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16; by persons
with reduced physical, sensory, mental capabilities, or by inexperienced persons.
Unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning safe and
proper use of the device by a person responsible for their safety. Children should
not use, play with, maintain or clean the devise.
If you are using the appliance in bathroom premises, disconnect the plug from
the socket after use, proximity to water is also dangerous even the appliance is
switched off.
In order to ensure better protection, it is advisable to install the power circuit
feeding the bathroom a residual current device, the residual current should not
exceed 30 ma (Ideal 10 ma). Ask your installer for advice.
CAUTION! Do not use this appliance in the vicinity
of bathtubs, showers, sinks or other containers
containing water! Do not immerse the appliance in
the water!
After removing the appliance from the packaging, make sure that the product is complete
and in perfect condition. Check the integrity of the supply, the design and any presence of
transport damages. In case of doubt, contact the authorized service department.
Before connecting the appliance, ensure that the power supply voltage corresponds with the
rating quoted on the equipment identication nameplate. The nameplate is located on the
appliance’s power supply.
Do not expose the appliance to moisture or atmospheric agents (rain, sun).
Always disconnect appliance from the power supply when not in use and before cleaning or
servicing.
This appliance must be used only for the purpose for which it has been designed as a pulsed
light xture for home use. Any other use is considered improper and therefore dangerous.
This device is not suitable for use in the presence of ammable anesthetic mixture with air or
oxygen or nitrous oxide.
Do not use the appliance with wet hands, damp or bare feet.

Do not pull the power cord or the appliance to unplug it from the power socket.
In case of appliance failure or malfunction, switch it off and do not tamper with it. For repairs,
please contact the D Light technical support center.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an authorized technical service center,
in order to prevent any risk.
The appliance can be used only on human hair. Do not use it on animals.
Do not obstruct the ventilation holes.
Do not use appliance if it is cracked or broken..
Do not use the appliance if the light is damaged, or the surface treatment is cracked, chipped
or missing.
Never look directly at the light coming from the treatment area.
Never point the treatment surface by trying to emit a light impulse from an open space.
In case of side effects or complications, it is advisable to contact your doctor or dermatologist.
Protective eyewear is highly recommended when using the appliance.

DO NOT USE DEVICE IF ANY OF THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS IS PRESENT AT THE TIME
OF TREATMENT:
Pregnant or breast-feeding
If you were exposed to strong sunlight or an articial tanning machine during the past 28 days.
If you have a tattoo or permanent makeup on the area to be treated.
If you have dark brown or black spots, such as large freckles, birth marks, or warts on the
area to be treated.
If you have eczema, psoriasis, lesions, open wounds or active infections, such as cold sore in
the area to be treated. Wait for the affected area to heal before using the appliance.
If you have a history of keloidial scar formation, a known sensitivity to light (photosensitivity)
or are taking medication that makes the skin more sensitive to light, including anti-
inammatory agents (such as aspirin, ibuprofen, paracetamol, acetaminophen), tetracyclines,
phenothiazines,thiazide, diuretics, sulphonylureas, sulfonamides, DTIC, uorouracil,
vinblastine, griseofulvin, Alpha-Hydroxi Acids (AHAs), Beta-Hydroxi Acid (BHA), Retin-A ®,
Accutane ® and/or topical retinoids.
If you have abnormal skin conditions, such as vitiligo or albinism.
If you have varicose veins in the treatment area.
If you are currently or have recently been treated with Alpha-Hydroxi acids (AHA), Beta-Hydroxi
acids (BHA), Retin-A ,topical retinoids or azelaic acidH.
If you have abnormal skin conditions, caused by diabetes, for example, or other systematic or
metabolic diseases

If you have been treated with Accutane ® (isotretinoin) within the past 6 months..
If you have been taking on steroid regimen within the past 3 months.
If you have a history of herpes outbreaks in the area of treatment, unless you have consulted
your physician and received preventive treatment before using the appliance.
If you suffer from epilepsy.
If you have an active implant, such as a pacemaker, an incontinence device, insulin pump,
etc.
If you have a disease related to photosensitivity, such as porphyria, polymorphic light eruption,
solar urticaria, lupus, etc..
If you have a history of skin cancer or areas of potential skin malignancies.
If you have received radiation therapy or chemotherapy treatments within the past 3 months.
If you have any other condition which in your physician’s opinion would make it unsafe for you
to be treated. In case of doubt, consult with your physician.
The appliance removes unwanted hair by selectively addressing hair pigment. Varied quantities
of pigment (melanin) are also present in the surrounding tissue of. The quantity of pigment in a
particular person’s skin, which is manifested by their complexion, determines the degree of the
risk they are exposed to using any method of light-based epilation.
SKIN TONE
Before using the appliance, compare your complexion
with the skin tone chart shown on the product packaging
Do not use the appliance on a naturally dark
complexion!
Treating the dark skin with the appliance may cause sunburn, blisters and skin
color changes (hyper or Hypo-pigmentation).

TANNED SKIN
Tanned skin particularly following sun exposure, contains large amounts of melanin. This applies
to all skin types and all complexion, including those who do not seem to tan quickly. The presence
of large quantities of melanin exposes the skin to higher risk when using any method of light
based treatment.
Avoid exposure to sun and/or tanning lights for 4 weeks before using the appliance!
Never use the appliance around or near the eyes!
The appliance can be used for the treatment of facial area.
Extra caution should be taken during the treatment to avoid
eye area.
EYE CAUTION
Do not use the appliance on nipples or genital
organs (male or female) and on the lips.

ENERGY LEVEL
Choose your energy levels CAREFULLY! Energy level refers to the light pulse that is projected on
the skin during use, from the lower level to the highest level. The notches on the status display (1)
indicate the energy level at which the machine is set. As the energy level increases, it improves
results as well as the risk of side effects (See “Possible Side Effects” below).
Always begin treatment using the lowest
energy level!

Only if you experience little or no discomfort during and after use of the devise energy at the
lowest energy setting, you can increase the energy level, and so on for each subsequent session.
For detailed instructions on energy level setting, see “Energy Level”.
Always shave the area to be treated and make sure the skin is clean and dry before using the
appliance.
Cover tattoos, lips and nipples before applying the appliance.
Cover dark brown or black spots, such as large freckles, birth marks, moles or warts before
using the appliance.
Never use ammable liquids such as alcohol (including perfumes, sanitizers, or other
applications containing alcohol), or acetone to clean the skin before using the appliance.
Do not use the appliance on any body part where you might later want hair.
PATCH TEST
Before you begin the treatment, it is recommended that you perform a patch test to identify
your skin’s highest level of tolerance to the pulsed light. For instructions on how to perform a
patch test, see “Inspection before use” section.
DURING TREATMENT
If blisters are formed on the skin, or if the skin burns, IMMEDIATELY STOP USING THE
APPLIANCE.
Always make sure that the treatment surface points toward the skin, and is completely in
contact with it.
Remove the surface treatment (11) from the skin if it becomes excessively hot.

Pay attention to the direction of insertion. There are 3 plastic pivot hinges (A C D) found
behind the light and an electronic card (B). During installation of the light, be careful to match
these elements with their corresponding housings on the machine’s attachment. Installation
and removal of the light does not require equipment and is hand-made when the Machine is
off and disconnected from the power socket, note
that the lights are dismantled by pulling outward on
one side as indicated in the drawing on the side, do
not remove the light by pulling horizontally because
it would risk damaging the plastic.

Not treat the same area of skin more than once per
session! Do not repeat the spots.

TYPES OF TREATMENT
Depending on the type of light mounted, the appliance automatically selects the correct functional
mode.
HR for Epilation Mode (Hair Removal)
SC for Photo Rejuvenation Mode (Skin Care)
RA for Acne Mode (Remove Acne)
1) HR MODE - EPILATION
Inserting the HR Light (yellow optical lter color), D Light 360 automatically activates the
Epilation mode and shows HR on the status display. In HR mode, you can choose between
5 power levels and whether to operate a single or sliding ash. The wavelength of
this light is between 510nm ~ 1200nm and specically hits hair follicles.
2) SC MODE - PHOTO REJUVENATION (SR)
Inserting the SR light (orange optical lter color),D light 360 automatically activates
photorejuvenation mode and shows SC on the status display. In SR mode, you can choose
between 5 power levels and whether to operate a single or sliding ash. The wavelength of
this light is 560nm, specically treats blemishes such as skin discoloration, small thin wrinkles,
grayish/off color and stimulates the production of new collagen that replenish the skin, improves
texture and overall tone.
3) RA MODE - ACNE (AC)
Inserting the AC light (Red optical lter color), D Light 360 is automatically activated in
Acne mode and shows RA on the status display. In AC mode, you can choose between 5 power
levels and whether to operate with single or sliding ash. The wavelength of this light is 430mm,
specically kills bacteria causing acne, also dried heat of the pulsed light accelerates healing.

HOW TO PREPARE THE TREATMENTS
Before starting treatments, prepare the treatment area by thoroughly cleaning the skin and remove
makeup. Hair must be shaved with a razor or a hair clipper, it is preferable to use a clipper as you
immediately obtain an optimal length of 1mm, and maximizes the absorption of pulsed light (in
epilation treatment), using the clipper will also avoid any skin irritation.
Given that the pulsed light is absorbed by dark colors, it is necessary to protect small, dark
birthmarks and tattoos, cover it with white eyepencil makeup, or with a specic product like the D
Light Patch Pro.
Do not let the pulsed light pass on large or irregular areas! In
the presence of doubt, ask your dermatologist before initiating
treatments!
Do not use the pulsed light on varicose veins and any type of skin
lesions
It is always advisable to begin at the lowest energy level and gradually increase to nd the right
intensity according to your own tolerance. The energy level is selected by repeatedly pressing the
ignition button (9) after the machine has been started.
As the enegry level increases, so does the results, as well as the risk of possible side effects.

EPILATION TREATMENT
The D Light 360 epilation treatment is suitable for all body areas that have hair except the scalp,
male beard, eyebrows, genital and perianal areas.
Any birthmarks or tattoos on the area to be treated must be covered before starting the treatment,
to protect them, you can use an opaque white makeup pencil or a specic product like the D light
Patch Pro. Before starting the treatment, it is advisable to wear certied laser safety glasses or
pulsed light safety eyewear, as an alternative, you can close your eyes when the ash is emitted.
Dene the area to be treated (can also help by drawing a grid with a white makeup pencil) and
select the appropriate energy level of the skin type when you are ready.
It is always advisable to start at the lowest energy level and depending on your tolerance, if
you experience no discomfort, you can increase the energy level, treatment is more effective
at highest energy level, but the ash takes longer to load. You can choose between two modes
of operation: single ash or scroll. Using the single ash mode, a ash is emitted everytime the
Flash button (2) is pressed. The scroll mode is activated by holding the Flash button (2) down for
3 seconds, then you can release it and the device will emit ash repeatedly whenever the Flash
window will come into contact with the skin. To turn off scroll mode, just press the Flash button (2)
once and the appliance resumes to function on single ash mode.
When the Flash window is correctly in contact with the skin and the machine is ready for the
Flash, the display starts ashing. It is recommended to radiate 1, maximum 2 times on each
treated area then proceed and move to the next area.

EPILATION TREATMENT CYCLE
For the rst 3 months, it is advisable to proceed with 1 treatment per week or every 2 weeks if
you are also doing photorejuvenation or acne treatments on the same area, it is important to
spend at least one week between other treatments by alternating Epilation to the others. The skin
should be hairless after nishing the rst 3 month cycle, therefore there will only be maintenance
sessions needed when the hairs begin to reappear (usually a session every 2 or 3 months,
depends on the of individual growth rhythm).
PHOTO REJUVENATION TREATMENT
The typical areas of photorejuvenation treatment with D Light 360 are the face, the neckline and
back of the hands. With photorejuvenation treatment (SR) it is possible to attenuate the rst signs
of aging by stimulating the production of new collagen, which renews, rms and replenishes
the skin, it is also be possible to lighten discolorations, overall skin texture and brighten the
complexion in case of a grayish or washed tone.
Any birthmarks or tattoos on the area to be treated must be covered before starting the treatment,

It is advisable to have 1 treatment per week until the results are achieved.
If you are taking epilation or acne treatments on the same area, it is important to spend at least
one week between photo rejuvenation treatment and other treatments. Once you have reached
the desired results you can suspend the weekly treatments and schedule maintenance treatments
according to individual needs.

ACNE TREATMENT

The D Light 360 Acne treatment can be used in all areas of the body where blemishes are
present, pay particular attention and wear protective glasses when treating areas near the eyes.
The acne light works on a specic wavelength to kill bacteria that causes acne (Propionibacterium
acnes), also the heat dry pulsed light boils accelerandone the healing and narrowing the pores by
preventing the new problem to arise.
It is advisable to avoid treatment on birthmarks or tattoos, if these are present on the area to be
treated, you can use an opaque white makeup pencil or a specic product like the D light Patch
Pro to protect them. Before starting the treatment, it is also advisable to wear certied laser safety
glasses or pulsed light safety eyewear, as an alternative, you can close your eyes when the ash
is emitted. When ready, dene an area to be treated (can also help by drawing a grid with a white
makeup pencil) and select the appropriate energy level of the skin type.

CYCLE OF ACNE TREATMENTS
It is advisable to take 1 treatment per week until the desired results are achieved, if you are
also taking epilation or photorejuvenation treatments, it is important to spend at least one
week between treatment and other treatments by alternating acne treatment. Once you have
reached the desired results you can suspend weekly treatments and schedule maintenance
treatments according to individual needs.
AFTER TREATMENT
After treatment, do not expose the skin to the sun and/or tanning
lights. For the following two weeks after each treatment session, in
case of exposure to the sun, protect the treated skin with a minimum
of SPF30 cream.
POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
When used in accordance with the instructions, side effects and complications associated with
the use of the appliance are rare. However, any cosmetic procedure, including those intended
for household use, involve some risk. Consequently, it is important to understand and accept the
risks and complications that may occur with designed pulsed light epilation systems for household
use.

Minimal Skin Discomfort
Despite the domestic pulsed light treatments are generally tolerated very well, most users try a
annoyance during use, generally described as a slight warm sensation or a pinch in the treated
skin areas. This sensation can be an alert during application or for a few minutes after application.
Any sensation beyond this minimal annoyance is not normal and it means that you need to
interrupt the use because your skin is not able to tolerate epilation treatment, or the energy level
is too high.
Skin Redness
Skin may be reddened immediately after using appliance or during the following 24 hours. Redness
generally disappears within 24 hours. Consult your physician if the redness does not disappear
within 2 or 3 days..
Increased Skin Sensitivity
The skin of the treated area becomes more sensitive and can be dry or scaly.
Skin wounds and burns
Burns or wounds may occur after application. They may take a few weeks to heal, and, in very
rare cases, may leave a visible permanent scar.
Scars
Although it is very rare, permanent scars may be formed. Generally when scars are formed, they
have a at lesion and white skin (hypertrophic). However, the scar may be very large and red
(hypertrophic) or large and extends beyond the margins of the wound itself (keloid). Subsequent
aesthetic treatments can be necessary to improve the appearance of the scar.
Pigmentation Changes
In some rare cases there is a risk of temporary pigmentation (greater pigment or
Brown bleaching) or IPO-pigmentation (whitening) in the surrounding skin area leeping. The risk
of skin pigmentation change is higher for people with dark skin complexion.
Redness and excessive swelling
In some rare cases the skin can become very red and swollen. This is more common in sensitive
areas of the body. Redness and swelling should decrease between 2 and 7 days later, it must be
cured with frequent applications of ice. You can gently wipe the area, but avoid exposing to the
sun.
Infection
Infection of the skin is very rare but it is a possible risk due to scalding or injury caused by the
device.
Bruises
Very seldom use of the device may cause blue-violet bruises that may last from 5 to 10 days.

NOTE:
Treating the same body part more frequently than recommended does not improve results. Due
to hormonal and physiological changes or other type, hair follicles, latents can become active.
Hair removal sessions or occasional maintenance treatment can therefore be necessary.
Individual reaction depends on hair type and biological factors that can affect the hair growth
cycle. Compared to the recommended epilation program, some people may react faster or
slower.
The appliance is not effective on very clear hair, on naturally white, gray, light blond and red hair
(see color scale on the packaging). If the hairs of your body are one of these colors, the device
will not be effective.
INSPECTION BEFORE USE
ENERGY LEVEL
he appliance can be set to 5 energy levels, from 1 (the
lowest) to 5 (the highest), represented by the 5 triangles
arranged like a fan on the status display (1). The energy
increases and decreases repeatedly pressing energy level
button (9) Increasing the power of treatment increases the
effectiveness of the CIA, but also possible side effects, it is
advisable to perform a patch test to identify the appropriate
energy level according to proper tolerance.

NUMEBER OF DISPOSABLE SPOTS
The meter reads the number of disposable spots available
to the light inserted. Spot counting is stored in an internal
chip in the light, then dismantling and reassembling the light,
the count is never lost, but reparts from the point where it
was left. Each light has its own count, when the light is 0, it
must be replaced.
ERROR MESSAGE
When the counter displays the message “error” instead of
the number of disposable spots, it means that the machine
cannot detect the light inserted. The problem may occur if
the light is not properly inserted, or if it is extracted while the
machine is running. If the light has been inserted correctly
and the message persists, it means that it is defective and
must be replaced.

HOW TO PERFORM A PATCH TEST
Because the skin tone varies from area to another, you should perform a patch test to each
body area to be treated. First check your skin tone comparing it with the skin color chart on the
instruction manual and packaging.
Identify a small area to be treated.
Shave the area to be treated.
After having set to the lowest level, apply the handpiece to the area and emit the rst pulse.
If you do not feel any kind of discomfort, increase the energy to the next level, move the
handpiece to the adjacent part of skin and emit a new ash.
Increase the energy level on every part of the next skin until reaching the highest level (but it must
remain bearable depending on skin type). During treatment it is possible (and normal) to feel a
warm sensation on the skin. If there is a feeling of discomfort, it means that the highest energy
level endured the previous one.
After 24 hours check the area: the persistence of redness indicates that the skin tolerated
the highest energy level on the previous one. Although it is extremely rare, if hypersensitivity
persists for more than 24 hours, it is advisable to consult a physician.
CAUTION: The energy directly delivered affects the result, but because of the principle
treatment, you should not exceed the maximum threshold that your skin is able to tolerate. This
threshold is normally high for light skins and low for dark skins, because the presence of melanin
darkens the skin, increases heat production. Do not exceed the highest threshold that your skin
can tolerate without any kind of discomfort.
MAINTANANCE
CLEANING AND CONSERVATION
It is recommended that you clean the Flash window after each epilation session:
Switch off the appliance by holding the ignition button down (9) and disconnect the Power plug
(6)
Gently wipe the ash window of the device (11) with a clean dry cloth. For proper cleaning of
the ash area, it is highly recommended to use Kera Flux detergent at luce-pulsata.net
Store the appliance in a cool dry place, away from heat and water sources.
When the light is empty, the counter reaches zero.

Never immerse the appliance or any of its parts in water!
NOTE:
If large stains appear inside the treatment surface (11) or if the latter is cracked or broken, do not
use the appliance and contact the D Light Service center. After replacing the lamp, always set the
energy level to lower than the one used normally. In the next session, increase the energy level
again only if the there is no abnormal discomfort during or after treatment.

WARRANTY PERIOD AND COVERAGE AREA
The products-intended as new products-are guaranteed for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase, which is proven by presenting the
certicate and the scal receipt; while purchases by invoice and URP.IVA are guaranteed for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase
pursuant to law. You do not accept purchase documents with modications and/or additions. Failure to exhibit valid documents and proof of
purchase in the above terms will result in the warranty and the charge of the entire buyer’s repair costs. SMA S.R.L. does not respond to the loss
of the warranty certicate and will not be liable to issue duplicates. After 2 years from the date of purchase, the product will no longer be covered
by warranty and assistance may be given by the technical assistance centers (d light) authorised by the SMA S.R.L. That will charge the buyer
with the current tariffs. Any form of warranty expires in any case after three years after the product has been eliminated from the ofcial list of SMA
S.R.L. Repairs made under warranty will not give any extension or renewal of the same.
WARRANTY SERVICES
All services covered by this warranty shall be subject to the actual defect of the product pursuant to this warranty. If the damage and/or defect is
not covered by this warranty and/or the exclusion of the warranty, The buyer will be charged all costs related to verication, labor, replacement
parts and transport of the product. The warranty may be asserted and will be effective only with the product is presented at the D Light Centre
authorised by SMA S.R.L. or the direct seller. However, the product must be repaired at one of the light centers authorized by the SMA S.R.L.
Under no circumstances shall the seller or buyer of the product be able to or by third parties other than authorized light centres, repairs or
replacements of the product; In the case of infringement of this prohibition, the product will not be considered in warranty. It will be the buyer’s
responsibility to communicate to the D Light Center or to the direct seller of the product, any defects and vices of the same and the willingness
to use the guarantee. The expenses and risks of transport to and from the aforementioned D Light centers will be charged to the buyer. The
intervention of the authorized D light centres, the withdrawal of the product, its repairs, and its eventual substitution will occur within the time limits
that are compatible with the service to be carried out, unless repairs and/or replacements are difcult. Any defective component replaced will be
owned by the SMA S.R.L.
EXCLUSIONS FROM WARRANTY
All parts that are defective or damaged due to transport, negligence and carelessness in use, incorrect installation or maintenance performed
by the buyer or by unauthorized personnel are not covered by any warranty, Improperly or otherwise from the one for which the product was
constructed, i.e., due to circumstances which, however, can be traced to product manufacture defects. In any case, glass parts and accessories
are excluded from the warranty. Do not prove that it is a manufacturing defect. The technical interventions inherent in the installation and/or testing
of the equipment are also excluded from the product, in addition to parts subject to normal wear.
In any case, the warranty does not cover the products with:
• Serial number is unreadable, deleted modied or removed;
• Defects due to any use not complying with the detailed instructions stated in the user manual;
• Defects due to faults or uctuations in electrical current and/or electrical system, air conditioning,Humidity or other environmental conditions;
• Defects due to damages caused by the use of accessories, products or related components which are not part of the product covered by
the warranty;
• Damages and malfunctions resulting in use.
The warranty does not cover any accessories such as cartons, carrying cases, etc.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY’
Compensation for direct or indirect damages of any kind to persons or things because of misuse or suspension of use of the product is not applied.
In particular, the SMA s.r.l. declines any liability for any damages that may arise, directly or indirectly, to persons, pets or things, due to the failure
to comply with all the requirements set forth in the product’s user manual and concerning, above all, the warnings regarding installation, use and
maintenance of the product.

The personal data communicated by the buyer in the coupon of the warranty certicate issued by the dealer or in the form submitted to the
authorized service center of the authorised representative will be processed by SMA S.R.L. with a computer aid and manual tools with the
sole purpose of making the buyer use this warranty and in order to facilitate the intervention of the D Light Center authorised by SMA S.R.L.,
as well as for managerial purposes related to the exercise of the economic activities of the SMA S.R.L. And for statistical purposes, marketing
and commercial information relating to the activity carried out by SMA S.R.L. Such data may be communicated to other group of SMA S.R.L.
companiesfor purposes related to the organization of the warranty service, assistance and maintenance. For the possible exercise of rights

AVVERTENZE SULLA SICUREZZA
Questo apparecchio non può essere utilizzato da persone di età inferiore a 16
anni; può essere usato da persone con capacità siche, sensoriali o mentali
ridotte o da persone inesperte solo se preventivamente istruite sull’utilizzo in
sicurezza e solo se informate dei pericoli legati al prodotto stesso. I bambini non
possono giocare con l’apparecchio. La pulizia e la manutenzione dell’apparecchio
non possono essere fatte da bambini senza la supervisione di un adulto.
Se si utilizza l’apparecchio in locali da bagno, staccare la spina dalla presa dopo
l’uso, perché la vicinanza dell’acqua è pericolosa anche ad apparecchio spento.
Al ne di assicurare una protezione migliore, si consiglia di installare nel circuito
elettrico che alimenta il locale da bagno un dispositivo a corrente differenziale, la
cui corrente differenziale di funzionamento nominale non sia superiore ai 30 mA
(ideale 10 mA). Chiedete al vostro installatore un consiglio in merito.
ATTENZIONE! Non utilizzare il presente apparecchio
nelle vicinanze di vasche da bagno, docce, lavandini
o altri recipienti contenenti acqua! Non immergere
mai l’apparecchio in acqua!
Dopo aver rimosso l’apparecchio dalla confezione, controllare l’integrità della fornitura in base
al disegno e l’eventuale presenza di danni da trasporto. In caso di dubbio, non utilizzare
l’apparecchio e rivolgersi al servizio di assistenza autorizzato.
Prima di collegare l’apparecchio, controllare che i dati della tensione di rete riportati sulla
targhetta di identicazione corrispondano a quelli della rete elettrica disponibile. La targhetta
di identicazione si trova sull’alimentatore dell’apparecchio.
NON esporre l’apparecchio all’umidità o all’inusso di agenti atmosferici (pioggia, sole).
Disinserire sempre la spina dall’alimentazione elettrica prima della pulizia o manutenzione e
in caso di mancato utilizzo dell’apparecchio.
Il presente apparecchio deve essere utilizzato unicamente allo scopo per cui è stato
progettato, ovvero come apparecchio a luce pulsata per uso domestico. Qualsiasi altro utilizzo
è considerato non conforme e pertanto pericoloso.
Questo apparecchio non è adatto per essere usato in presenza di miscele anestetiche
inammabili con aria o Ossigeno o Ossido Nitroso.
NON utilizzare l’apparecchio con mani bagnate o piedi umidi o nudi.

NON tirare il cavo di alimentazione o l’apparecchio stesso per staccare la spina dalla presa
di corrente.
In caso di guasto o di cattivo funzionamento dell’apparecchio, spegnerlo e non manometterlo.
Per l’eventuale riparazione rivolgersi solamente ad un centro di assistenza tecnica autorizzato
D Light.
Se il cavo di alimentazione è danneggiato, esso deve essere sostituito da un centro di
assistenza tecnica autorizzato D Light, in modo da prevenire ogni rischio.
L’apparecchio è da utilizzarsi solo per peli umani. Non utilizzarlo per animali.
NON ostruire i fori di ventilazione
Non usare l’apparecchio se il rivestimento esterno dell’apparecchio è incrinato o rotto.
Non usare l’apparecchio se la lampada è danneggiata, o se la supercie di trattamento è
incrinata, scheggiata o mancante.
Non guardare mai direttamente la luce che arriva dalla supercie di trattamento.
Non puntare mai la supercie di trattamento provando emettere un impulso di luce verso uno
spazio aperto.
Nel caso si manifestassero effetti collaterali o complicazioni, si consiglia di contattare il proprio
medico o dermatologo.
Durante l’utilizzo dell’apparecchio è altamente consigliato l’uso di occhiali protettivi

NON USARE L’APPARECCHIO SE UNA DELLE CONDIZIONI SEGUENTI È VALIDA AL
MOMENTO DEL TRATTAMENTO:
In gravidanza o allattamento.
Se sei stato esposto al sole forte o a una macchina per abbronzatura articiale nel corso degli
ultimi 28 giorni.
Se hai un tatuaggio o un trucco permanente nella zona da trattare.
Se hai macchie marrone scuro o nere, come grandi lentiggini, voglie della pelle, nei o verruche
nella zona da trattare.
Se hai eczemi, psoriasi, lesioni, ferite aperte o infezioni attive, come herpes, nella zona da
trattare. Attendi che la zona malata guarisca prima di usare l’apparecchio.
Se hai una storia di formazione di cheloidi, se sai di essere sensibile alla luce (fotosensibilità) o
prendi medicine che rendono la pelle più sensibile alla luce, compresi agenti anti-inammatori
nonsteroidali, (come aspirina, ibuprofen, paracetamolo), tetracicline, fenotiazine, tiazide,
diuretici, sulfonilurea, sulfonamidici, DTIC, uorouracil, vinblastine, griseofulvin, Acidi Alfa-
Idrossi (AHA), Acidi-Idrossi (BHA), Retin-A®, Accutane® e/o retinoidi topici.
Se hai condizioni della pelle anormali, come vitiligine o albinismo.
Se hai vene varicose nelle zone da trattare.
Se sei in cura o sei stato curato recentemente con Acidi Alfa-Idrossi (AHA), Acidi Beta-Idrossi
(BHA), Retin-A®, retinoidi topici o acido azelaico.
Se hai condizioni delle pelle anormali, causate da diabete, per esempio, o altre malattie
sistemiche o metaboliche.

Se sei stato curato con Accutane® (isotretinoina) durante gli ultimi 6 mesi.
Se hai tenuto un regime a steroidi durante gli ultimi 3 mesi.
Se hai una storia di scoppi di herpes nella zona del trattamento, salvo nel caso tu abbia
consultato il tuo medico e ricevuto un trattamento preventivo prima di usare l’apparecchio.
Se soffri di epilessia.
Se sei portatore di un impianto attivo, come un pacemaker, un dispositivo per incontinenza,
pompa per insulina, ecc.
Se sei affetto da malattie collegate alla fotosensibilità, come porria, eruzione di luce
poliformica, orticaria solare, lupus, ecc.
Se hai una storia di cancro alla pelle o aree di malignità potenziali della pelle.
Se sei stato sottoposto a sedute di radioterapia o chemioterapia durante gli ultimi 3 mesi.
Se hai qualsiasi altro problema che a parere del tuo medico fa sì che il trattamento non sia
sicuro per te. In caso di dubbio, consultati con il tuo medico.
L’apparecchio rimuove peli indesiderati inuendo in modo selettivo sul pigmento del pelo. Quantità
diverse di pigmento (melanina) sono presenti anche nel tessuto cutaneo circostante. La quantità
di pigmento presente nella pelle, che si manifesta nella tonalità della pelle, determina il grado
di rischio cui è esposta la pelle stessa usando qualsiasi metodo di epilazione basato sulla luce
pulsata.
IL COLORE DELLA PELLE
Prima di utilizzare l’apparecchio confrontare la propria
carnagione con la scala tonalità della pelle rappresentata
sulla confezione del prodotto
NON USARE l’apparecchio su una carnagione
naturalmente scura!
Trattare la pelle scura con l’apparecchio può causare effetti collaterali negativi come
scottature, vesciche e variazioni nel colore della pelle (iper o ipo-pigmentazione).

PELLE ABBRONZATA
La pelle abbronzata, specialmente dopo l’esposizione al sole, contiene grandi quantità di
melanina. Questo vale per tutti i tipi di pelle e tutte le carnagioni, compresi quelli che non sembrano
abbronzarsi velocemente. La presenza di grandi quantità di melanina espone la pelle a un rischio
maggiore quando si usa qualsiasi trattamento a luce pulsata.
Evitare l’esposizione al sole e/o a lampade abbronzanti per 4 settimane prima del trattamento con
l’apparecchio!
Non usare mai l’apparecchio intorno o vicino agli occhi!
L’apparecchio può essere usato per il trattamento in una
delimitata zona del viso. Durante il trattamento di questa zona
deve essere fatta particolare attenzione ad evitare gli occhi.
ATTENZIONE AGLI OCCHI
Non usare l’apparecchio sui capezzoli o sugli
organi genitali (maschili o femminili) e le labbra.
CAPEZZOLI GENITALI E LABBRA
ALTRE PRECAUZIONI PER UN USO SICURO
IL LIVELLO DI ENERGIA
Scegliere ATTENTAMENTE il livello di energia da utilizzare! Il livello di energia si riferisce
all’intensità dell’impulso di luce che viene proiettato sulla pelle durante l’uso, dal livello più basso
al livello più alto. Le tacche sul display di stato (1) indicano il livello di energia impostato. Quando
il livello di energia sale, migliorano i risultati ma aumenta anche il rischio di effetti collaterali (vedi
paragrafo “Possibili effetti collaterali”).
Iniziare sempre il trattamento usando il valore
del livello di energia più basso!

Solo se si avverte poco o nessun fastidio durante e dopo l’uso con l’energia impostata al valore
più basso, è possibile aumentare l’impostazione dell’energia di un livello, e così via per ogni
successiva seduta. Per istruzioni dettagliate sull’impostazione del livello di energia, vedere “Livello
di Energia” nel paragrafo “Approfondimenti prima dell’utilizzo”.
Radere sempre la zona che deve essere trattata e accertarsi che la pelle sia pulita e asciutta
prima di usare l’apparecchio.
Coprire tatuaggi, labbra e capezzoli prima dell’applicazione dell’apparecchio.
Coprire macchie marrone scuro o nere, come grandi lentiggini, voglie della pelle, nei o verruche
prima di usare l’apparecchio.
Non usare mai liquidi inammabili come alcool, prodotti che contengono alcool (compresi
profumi, prodotti sanitari, ecc), o acetone per pulire la pelle prima di usare l’apparecchio.
Non usare l’apparecchio su nessuna parte del corpo nella quale si potrebbe volere avere peli
successivamente.
IL PATCH TEST
Prima di iniziare il trattamento si raccomanda di eseguire un patch test per identicare il livello
massimo di tollerabilità della propria pelle all’impulso luminoso. Per le indicazioni su come
eseguire il patch test, vedi il paragrafo “Approfondimenti prima dell’utilizzo”.
DURANTE IL TRATTAMENTO
Si raccomanda di non sparare più di 1, max 2 ash per
seduta su ogni area da trattare
Se si formano vesciche sulla pelle, o se la pelle brucia, SMETTERE IMMEDIATAMENTE DI
USARE l’apparecchio.
Assicurarsi sempre che la supercie di trattamento punti verso la pelle, e sia completamente
a contatto con essa.
Rimuovere la supercie di trattamento (11) dalla pelle se la pelle o la supercie di trattamento
diventano eccessivamente calde.

Prestare attenzione al verso di inserimento della lampada. Dietro alla lampada si trovano 3
perni di plastica (A C D) ed una scheda elettronica (B), durante l’installazione della lampada,
si dovrà prestare attenzione a far combaciare questi elementi, con i loro corrispettivi
alloggiamenti sull’attacco della macchina. L’installazione e la rimozione della lampada non
necessita di nessuna attrezzatura e viene fatta a
mano con la macchina spenta e SCOLLEGATA
dalla presa elettrica. N.B. Le lampade si smontano
tirando verso l’esterno da un lato come indicato
nel disegno qui a fianco, NON estraete la lampada
tirando orizzontalmente perchè sarebbe più
faticoso e rischiereste di danneggiare i ganci di
plastica.
2) Inserire il connettore di alimentazione (6) nella presa di alimentazione (3)

TIPI DI TRATTAMENTO
In base al tipo di lampada montato, l’apparecchio seleziona automaticamente la modalità giusta
di funzionamento.
HR per la modalità epilazione (Hair Removal)
SC per la modalità fotoringiovanimento (Skin Care)
RA per la modalità acne (Remove Acne)
1) MODALITÀ HR - EPILAZIONE
Inserendo la lampada HR (colore ltro ottico giallo), D Light 360 si attiva automaticamente in
modalità epilazione e sul display compare la scritta HR. In modalità HR è possibile scegliere tra
5 livelli di potenza e se operare a ash singolo oppure a scorrimento. La lunghezza d’onda di
questa lampada è compresa tra 510nm ~ 1200nm ed è specica per colpire i bulbi piliferi.
2) MODALITÀ SC - FOTORINGIOVANIMENTO (SR)
Inserendo la lampada SR (colore ltro ottico arancione), D Light 360 si attiva automaticamente
in modalità fotoringiovanimento e sul display compare la scritta SC. In modalità SR è possibile
scegliere tra 5 livelli di potenza e se operare a ash singolo oppure a scorrimento. La lunghezza
d’onda di questa lampada è di 560nm ed è specica per trattare inestetismi come macchie d’età
color caffelatte, piccole rughe sottili, colorito grigiastro/spento e per stimolare la produzione di
nuovo collagene che rimpolpa la pelle migliorandone texture e tono generale.
3) MODALITÀ RA - ACNE (AC)
Inserendo la lampada AC (colore ltro ottico rosso), D Light 360 si attiva automaticamente in
modalità acne e sul display compare la scritta RA. In modalità AC è possibile scegliere tra 5 livelli
di potenza e se operare a ash singolo oppure a scorrimento. La lunghezza d’onda di questa
lampada è di 430nm una lunghezza d’onda specica che uccide il batterio che causa l’acne,
inoltre il calore della luce pulsata secca il foruncolo accelerandone la guarigione.

NON USARE l’apparecchio su una carnagione
naturalmente scura o sulla pelle abbronzata!
COME PREPARARSI AI TRATTAMENTI
Prima di iniziare i trattamenti, la pelle deve essere pulita e senza trucco, i peli devono essere rasati
a zero con una lametta oppure con una tosatrice per capelli, è preferibile utilizzare la tosatrice
in quanto permette di ottenere immediatamente la lunghezza ottimale di 1 mm che massimizza
l’assorbimento della luce pulsata (nel trattamento epilazione), inoltre utilizzando la tosatrice si
eviteranno eventuali irritazioni cutanee che possono essere causate dalla lametta.
Dato che la luce pulsata viene assorbita dai colori scuri, è necessario proteggere i piccoli nei, le
voglie scure della pelle e i tatuaggi, coprendoli con una matita da trucco bianca per occhi, oppure
con un prodotto specico come D Light Patch Pro
NON passare la luce pulsata sui grandi nei o dalla forma irregolare!
In presenza di nei sospetti, prima di iniziare i trattamenti chiedi
consiglio al tuo dermatologo.
NON passare la luce pulsata sulle vene varicose e sulle zone che
presentano qualsiasi tipo di lesione cutanea
E’ sempre consigliabile partire dal livello di potenza più basso e salire gradualmente no a
trovare l’intensità giusta in base alla propria tolleranza. Il livello di potenza si seleziona premendo
ripetutamente il pulsante di accensione (9) dopo che la macchina è stata avviata.
Aumentando la potenza, aumenta l’efcacia, ma anche il rischio di effetti collaterali.
SELEZIONA LA POTENZA DEL TRATTAMENTO
Se si formano vesciche sulla pelle, o se la pelle brucia,
SMETTERE IMMEDIATAMENTE di usare l’apparecchio.

IL TRATTAMENTO DI EPILAZIONE
Il trattamento di epilazione con D Light 360 è adatto a tutte le zone del corpo che presentano
peli tranne il cuoio capelluto, la barba maschile, le sopracciglia, i genitali e la zona perianale.
Eventuali nei, voglie o tatuaggi presenti nella zona da trattare, devono essere coperti prima di

di indossare occhiali protettivi certicati laser e luce pulsata, in alternativa è possibile chiudere
gli occhi quando viene emesso il ash. Quando siete pronti, delimitate un’area da trattare (potete
anche aiutarvi disegnando una griglia con una matita da trucco bianca) e scegliete il livello di
potenza più adatto al proprio fototipo.
La prima volta è sempre consigliabile partire dal livello di potenza più basso e salire gradualmente
in base alla propria tolleranza, se non si avvertono fastidi, sarà possibile usare la macchina
anche massima potenza, a massima potenza il trattamento è più efcace, ma il ash per caricarsi
richiede più tempo. È possibile scegliere tra due modalità di funzionamento: ash singolo oppure
a scorrimento. Utilizzando la modlaità ash singolo, viene emesso un ash ad ogni pressione
del pulsante ash (2). La modalità scorrimento invece si attiva tenendo premuto per 3 secondi il
pulsante ash (2) dopodichè sarà possibile rilasciarlo e l’apparecchio emetterà ash a ripetizione
ogni volta che la nestra ash entrerà in contatto con la pelle; per disattivare la modalità scorrimento
basta premere una volta il pulsante ash (2) e l’apparecchio riprende a funzionare in modalità
ash singolo.
Quando la nestra ash si trova a corretto contatto con la pelle e la macchina è pronta per il ash,
il display inizia a lampeggiare. Si consiglia di irradiare 1, massimo 2 volte ogni area da trattare
per poi passare all’area successiva.

CICLO DI TRATTAMENTI EPILAZIONE
Per i primi 3 mesi si consiglia di procedere con 1 trattamento alla settimana oppure ogni 2
settimane se sulla stessa area si stanno facendo anche trattamenti di fotoringiovanimento o
acne, è importante far trascorrere almeno una settimana tra un trattamento e l’altro alternando
l’epilazione agli altri trattamenti. Finito il primo ciclo di 3 mesi la pelle dovrebbe essere glabra,
saranno quindi necessarie solo sedute di mantenimento quando i peli inizieranno a ripresentarsi
(generalmente una seduta ogni 2 o 3 mesi, dipende dai ritmi di ricrescita individuali).
IL TRATTAMENTO DI FOTORINGIOVANIMENTO
Le tipiche aree di trattamento fotoringiovanimento con D Light 360 sono il viso, il décolleté e il
dorso delle mani. Con il trattamento fotoringiovanimento (SR) sarà possibile attenuare i primi
segni dell’età stimolando la produzione di nuovo collagene, che rinnova, rassoda e rimpolpa la
pelle, sarà inoltre possibile migliorare la texture generale della pelle e ravvivarne il colorito nel
caso in cui questa presenti un tono grigiastro o slavato.
Eventuali nei, voglie o tatuaggi presenti nella zona da trattare, devono essere coperti prima di

IL TRATTAMENTO ACNE

Il trattamento Rimozione Acne D light 360 può essere usato in tutte le aree del corpo dove si
presenta l’inestetismo prestando particolare attenzione ed indossando occhiali protettivi quando
si trattano le zone vicino agli occhi. La lampada acne lavora su di una lunghezza d’onda specica
per uccidere il batterio che causa l’acne (Propionibacterium acnes), inoltre il calore della luce
pulsata secca il foruncolo accelerandone la guarigione e restringe i pori prevenendo il nuovo
insorgere del problema.
Si consiglia di evitare il trattamento su voglie o tatuaggi, se l’area da trattare presenta nei, questi
devono essere prima coperti con una matita da trucco bianca molto coprente o con un prodotto

trattamento, in caso di esposizione al sole proteggere la pelle trattata
con una crema con ltro solare minimo SPF30

Quando usato secondo le istruzioni, gli effetti collaterali e le complicazioni associate all’uso
dell’apparecchio sono rari. Tuttavia ogni procedura cosmetica, comprese quelle destinate a uso
domestico, comportano qualche rischio. Di conseguenza è importante capire e accettare i rischi
e le complicazioni che possono avere luogo con i sistemi di epilazione a luce pulsata progettati
