INTRODUCTION
Sense Laser is a hair removal device specially designed to be used at home-like environment with the same
professional results you could get at your beauty center.
It emits a laser light with a wavelength of 810 nm (nano meters) to selectively target one specic chromophore,
which is melanin. This allows for deeper penetration and the energy is directed straight to the target and not ab-
sorbed by the other chromophores in the path of the beam. The concentrated beam focused in a specic target
will not cause harm to the surrounding tissue when used properly.
Sense Laser has been developed to deliver an amazing shooting repetition rate of 5 Hz (5 ash/per second).
Thanks to this, you will be able to perform the treatments using the technique of maintaining the Sense Laser in
constant motion over the skin. This mode of operation makes the Sense Laser suitable for almost all skin types.
For those users who have lighter skin type (I-III) or to perform hair removal on those areas where multiple pass-
es would be di󰀩cult, Sense Laser gives them the opportunity to select the maximum working level so the unit
will deliver an energy density of 16 Jules/cm2 (lower repetition rate), which makes Sense Laser one of the most
powerful at-home hair removal devices.

When shouldn´t Sense Laser be used?
zzPregnant or nursing women must avoid the use of the device.
zzDo not use the device if you have skin cancer or on areas at risk of malignancy.
zzDo not use the device if you su󰀨er from epilepsy.
zzDo not use the device if you are/were under radiation therapy or chemotherapy within the past 3 months.
zzDo not use the device if you have an active implant such as a pacemaker, insulin pumps, or similar devices.
zzDo not use on damaged or broken skin or if you have a history of Herpes or Psoriasis outbreak in the treat-
ment area.
zzDo not use if you su󰀨er from kelodial scar formation.
zzDo not use if you have taken Tetracycline antibiotics within the last two weeks.
zzDo not use if you have been taking medication with the following active ingredients within the last two weeks:
Retinoids, Accutane and Retin-A.
zzDo not use the device if you are photosensitive or have other diseases related to light sensitivity.
zzDo not use if you su󰀨er from metabolic conditions, such as diabetes.
zzDo not use if you have had a skin peel or other skin resurfacing procedure within the last 6 – 8 weeks.
zzDo not use the device if you were exposed to strong sunlight or an articial tanning machine during the past
30 days.
zzDo not use the device if you have dark spots such as large freckles, moles or blisters on the treatment area.
zzNEVER use ammable liquids such as alcohol or acetone to clean the skin before using the device.
zzDo not use the device on the face above the cheek line; around the eyes, eyebrows or eyelashes as this
could cause serious eye damage.
zzDo not use the device over mucous membranes as in the nose and ears.
zzThe device should not be used on tattoos, permanent make up and intimate body parts such as nipples,
genitalia or around the anus.
zzIf you see extreme redness of the skin, blistering, or burns STOP USE IMMEDIATELY!
zzDo not look directly at the light coming from the applicator window.
zzDo not use the device for any purpose other than hair reduction.
zzUse of the device may cause temporary skin colour changes.
zzDo not apply continuous pulses (one after the other) with the applicator window on any one spot on your
skin during treatment. Doing so causes extensive heat to build-up and may result in possible skin damage or
scarring.
zzDo not open or repair the device as it contains dangerous electrical components which may cause physical
damage.
zzDo not use the device with any additional accessories that are not part of its intended use.
zzDo not use the device where it can come into contact with liquids (wet environment). This can cause electric
shock.
zzIf the device is dropped into liquid, wait at least 2 minutes to remove. Do not use the device again, contact
the customer service center.
zzDo not use the device if any parts show signs of damage. This may result in injury.
zzAlways keep the device away from the hair of your head to avoid accidental burns.
zzAlways keep the device away from objects other than the skin while treating (e.g. clothes, brushes, wires,
cords, laces, etc.) to avoid accidents.
zzDo not rinse any components of the device with any kind of liquid to avoid damaging the device.

less they have been instructed by a person responsible for their safety, according to the instructions for use.
zzThis appliance can be used by persons aged from 16 years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall
not play with the appliance.

PRIOR TO USE
Charging Sense Laser
1. Remove all components from the box.
2. Plug the charge station using the power adaptor included (no LED will light on the charging station if the main
unit is not yet placed on it).
3. Place the main unit in the charge station and charge it until battery light is full (charging time 2,5 hours
aprox.). A blue LED will start lighting on the charging station when the main unit is well placed and connected
to the charging station.

4. The Sense Laser can remain charging, with the charge station plugged in, for extended periods of time
without damage.
Note: To prevent damage to your Sense Laser, use only the included charge station power adaptor.
PRIOR TO TREATMENT
Note: Please read all instructions and safety precautions carefully prior to treatment.
zSense Laser should ideally be used on the legs, underarms, bikini line, chest, back, stomach, arms, upper
lips, cheek, jaw and neck.
zDo not use the device over mucous membranes i.e nose and ears.
zDo not use the device on naturally blonde, red or white hair.
zDo not use the device over piercing or any metal items such as earrings or jewellery.
zDo a spot test on a small patch of skin in the intended treatment area, 24 hours prior to rst use of the Laser
(see spot test page 4).
zRetest your skin with a new spot test if your skin tanned (sunny seasons).
zSense Laser is not suitable for Afro-Caribbean or black skin complexions.
zKeep out of children’s reach.
zThe device is to be used for hair reduction purposes only. Do not use it for any other purpose.
zUse Sense Laser only according to the instructions for use.
PREPARING SKIN TO TREATMENT
Note: Do not epilate (whether using an electric epilator or wax) in the previous 4 weeks before using the Sense
Laser. The epilation (removal of hair from the root) will make the laser treatment ine󰀨ective.
1. Clean and free your skin of any residue such as powders, creams, make-up, anti-perspirants or deodorants.
Warning! NEVER use ammable liquids such as alcohol or acetone to clean the skin before using the laser
2. Shave the area to be treated. This removes the surface hair so the light better penetrates to reach the follicle.
4. Dry the area to be treated.
Testing Sense Laser by performing a Spot Test
The spot test is intended to determine your skin reactions to the treatment and help you select the optimal
energy level for each treatment area.
Do a spot test on each area you intend to treat 24 hours prior to the full treatment.
1.Charge the Sense Laser and prepare your skin for treatment (read above).
2. Pick the main unit up offthe charging station once the battery light is full.
3.Press and hold the power button to turn on the unit. The device sets itself on the lowest energy level (rst
blue LED lighting).
4.Place the treatment window at against your skin and hold it for 1 second. The device will start shooting
automatically and you will hear a persistent beep.
5.If level 1 was tolerate for you, then increase to level 2, using the power button, and repeat step 4 in a di󰀨erent
spot of the testing area.
6.Only if you feel comfortable repeat steps 4 to 5 until you have reached the maximum energy Level of 5. Stop
the test once you do not feel comfortable, increasing the energy level increases the risk of adverse e󰀨ects. If
you see adverse e󰀨ects such as severe redness or blistering stop the test immediately.
7.Wait 24 hours and examine the tested area. If the skin in the test area seems normal (no response or mild
redness) you can proceed with a full treatment in the highest comfortable energy level you tested. If you see
extreme redness, swelling or blistering, even in the low energy level settings do not do the full treatment in
that area.
Note: Do not treat full areas in energy levels you have not tested before.
Do not treat the tested area for at least 1 week after the spot test is done. Use the table below to make a note of
the energy level that suits you for di󰀨erent areas you wish to treat.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR TREATMENT
It is recommended to carry out the Spot test (see above) at least 24hrs prior to treatment to choose a
safe treatment level for your skin.
How to treat
1.Charge Sense Laser (page 4).
2. Prepare your skin for treatment (see page 4).
3.Pick the main unit up offthe charging station once the battery is full.
4.Press the power button to turn on the unit. The device sets itself on the lowest energy level (rst blue LED
lighting).
5.Use the power button to increase the energy level to reach the level determined in the spot test and accord-
ing to your convenience. Another blue LED will light with each level increased up so then, the number of the
level will correspond to the same number of blue LED lighting at the same time.
6.Place the treatment window at against your skin, the device will start shooting automatically and you will
hear a continuos beep. If you do not hear the beep, make sure that the treatment window is in perfect touch
with your skin.
Important Note: Dependent on the energy level selected the device should be moved dierent over the skin (2
dierent operation modes (see page 1)
Level 1 to 3, Multiple Pass Technique (HRR) will be used.
This mode consists of maintaining Sense Laser over the area to be treated and in constant motion. In this mode
it is necessary to repeatedly pass the device over the same area up to 5 times to ensure maximum coverage.
The higher the level the slower you will need to glide the device. This is because the more energy released,
the slower the pulse rate. If Sense Laser stop shooting while moving it, just lift it and place it back on the skin to
start shooting again.
Level 4 and 5, Single Pass Technique (LRR):
This mode is performed by shooting only one shot over the treated area so then, move Sense Laser to next
patch and shooting again ensuring there are no gaps or overlaps in the treated area. It is recommended to
move the unit about the distance of the window (10 mm). DO NOT treat repeadtedly in the same spot to prevent
discomfort or skin heating. Using this mode, the device will only shot again after lifting the unit and placing it
back on the skin.
Repeat steps 5 until all the chosen area has been completely treated. The product should not be used for
more than 30 minutes at one time. After 30 minutes are up, switch the device o󰀨 and place it on the
charging station. NB: If the device is left on but not used for approximately 3 minutes it will automatically switch
itself o󰀨. If this has happened, press the power button to turn the device back on.
Facial treatment
The facial skin is a sensitive area that requires special care and caution. Make sure you follow all instructions
and safety precautions carefully in order to avoid adverse e󰀨ects.
It is recommended to only use Level 1 to 3 for facial treatments.
Warning!
Do not use the device on the face above the cheek line, around the eyes, eyebrows or eyelashes as this could
cause serious eye damage.
Do not use the device to treat hair growth in the nose and ears.
Make sure you do a spot test 24 hours prior to treatment to determine suitability. The Spot Test can be carried
out on a hair-free area such as below the ear or the side of the neck. Despite the result of the spot test, it is
highly recommended to always start any facial treatment with Sense Laser set up in level 1.
Warning!
Use a mirror to help you place the applicator correctly on the treatment area.
Follow the instructions for use (see page 5) with additional care to the following specic area instructions. Note:
Facial Hair may be hormonal and as such, it can take more sessions to achieve a permanent hair reduction.
Upper Lip Treatment
Place the treatment window on the area as indicated in the picture. Repeat up to 5 times on each area.
Avoid the nostrils and lip, as these areas are more sensitive. If needed mask the lips with a sheet of paper.
You can “fold” your lip inward or press the lips together to achieve a better spread treatment area.
Cheek and Jaw treatment
Place the Applicator treatment area as indicated in the picture. Treat each area up to 5 times, moving from one
side of the jaw/cheek to the other.
Neck and chin treatments
Place the Applicator treatment area as indicated in the picture. Treat each area up to 5 times, moving from one
side of the neck/chin to the other.
Note: The skin on lower third of the neck is more sensitive.
Post treatment care
zApply a calming lotion such as D Light Post tratment cream.
zAvoid using peeling and bleaching creams or products for at least 24 hours as this irritates the treated skin.
zAvoid more than 15 minutes of direct sun exposure for at least 1 weeks post treatment. If recently treated skin
is exposed to sunlight in this time period, make sure to apply SPF 30 or higher sunscreen.
zDo not wax or pluck hairs from treated areas.

Skin/Hair Type Suitability
Sense Laser emits a light with a wavelength of 810nm in a single color (red color). In this lenght, the skin is
essentially transparent to the light while melanin will absorb the energy.
Darker skin contains more melanin, which competes with the targeted hair for laser light absorption. When more
light energy is absorbed in the skin there is more risk of adverse e󰀨ects and the epidermis may get damaged.
Using a light wavelenght of 810 nm enables treatment of relatively dark skin. However, Sense Laser is not
suitable for Afro-Caribbean or black skin complexions.
Sense Laser laser light focused in a specic target (melanin) an thanks to this, will not cause harm to the sur-
rounding tissue when used properly but, also because of this, laser light is ine󰀨ective in removal of white, red or
grey color hair.
As a guide:
Darker hair will respond better to treatment
Thick hair will see results more quickly
The greater the contrast between the skin and hair colour (e.g pale skin, dark hair) the faster and better the
response.

Recommended protocol for treatments:
Everyone´s hair grows di󰀨erently, depending on age, weight, metabolism, hormones, ethnicity, medications, and
other factors. But all hairs goes through three distinct growth phases:
Anagen phase. This is the active growth phase of the hair. During the Anagen phase the hair has an abundance
of melanin.
Catagen phase. In this phase, the hair stops growing but is not yet shed. The hair follicle shrinks at this time as
the hair is prepared for eviction.
Telogen phase. During this phase the hair falls out and a new hair begins to form. The hair follicle is not treat-
able during this time.
Laser treatment is only e󰀨ective when the hair is in the active growth phase (anagen). Therefore multiple treat-
ments are required to achieve long term permanent hair reduction.
Also in a single treatment not all of the hair follicles in the active phase will be destroyed. The initial treatment
should be repeated to take care of active hair follicles that were not e󰀨ectively treated in the rst session as new
hair growth is observed.
The treatments can be performed every two weeks until you see desired results, usually 3 months. Then adjust
the amount of treatments to achieve satisfaction.
Some individuals may require more, and some fewer treatments. Individuals with lighter skin types and darker
hair can tolerate more aggressive parameters of high uence so they will require of less treatments, usually 6.
Darker skin types require of 10 treatments or occasionally more.
During the course of the treatments, hair becomes ner and lighter.
What to expect when using Sense Laser
Because Sense Laser emits a coherent beam of light, the ash during the shooting will be almost imperceptible
and you will only see a red shadow around the whole square of the treatment window. It will not harm the eyes
when the treatment window is applied with full contact to the skin, on the recommended treatment areas, but
avoid looking directly at the ash.
Fan noise – Lower than that of a hair dryer.
A continuos beep while the device is e󰀨ectively emitting the light.
A sensation of warmth – from the light energy after each pulse.
A mild stinging sensation - similar to that of being snapped with a rubber band.
POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Please ensure you treat using an appropriate energy level to decrease the likelihood of experiencing harming on
the skin.
Generally no sides e󰀨ect will be apparent. Rarely mild redness, slight reddening and some swelling may occur.
This will fade over 24 hours.
However, every cosmetic procedure including the usage of home use devices may cause some degree of side
e󰀨ects:

CLEANING AND STORAGE
zMake sure to turn o󰀨 the main unit and return it back to the charging station. To turn o󰀨 the main unit, press
and hold the power button.
zIt is recommended that the treatment window be cleaned after every session by using a dry, clean cloth to
gently wipe the device.
zKeep the whole set (main unit and charging station) dry, never submerge any of its parts in water.

FAQ´S
Which body areas can the device be used on?
The device is designed to remove hair everywhere below the cheek line with the most commonly treated areas
being the legs, underarms, arms and bikini line. Men should not use the device for facial treatment.
Is the device safe for use?
The device has been tested and approved by dermatologists and physicians to meet the European safety
standards for a home use device. This electronic device must be used according to the instructions for use and
user precautions.
What e󰀨ect does the device have on di󰀨erent coloured hair?
Sense Laser works only on dark hair or hair that contains more melanin. Brown and light brown hair will respond
but typically will require more treatment sessions. White, red and grey hair cannot be treated with laser.
Does it hurt to use the device?
Some users may experience discomfort (when dealing with thicker and darker hair) but this discomfort dimin-
ishes once the session is completed. When correctly used most users feel a slight mild stinging or/and heat
sensation at the time of the pulse light similar to that of snapping an elastic band.
When are results from the device achieved?
Results are not immediate, typically after two weeks many of the hairs in the treated area will simply fall out.
As the hair grows in three di󰀨erent stages and only hairs in the active growth phase will be a󰀨ected, multiple
sessions are required to achieve the desired result. Results are cumulative; as you continue your treatment
schedule you will notice less and less hair regrowth.
Will my hair grow back after a treatment?
It is not possible to successfully treat all hair follicles successfully in a single treatment. The results are cumula-
tive and you will notice an improvement in the results the more treatments you complete. Successfully disabling
hair follicles is dependent on the growth phase at the time of treatment, so a number of treatments over a period
of time yield the most e󰀨ective cumulative results. Follow the initial course of treatments until the end and top-up
as often as necessary.
How long after sun exposure can the device be used?
It is recommended to wait 2 weeks after unprotected sun exposure. Tanned skin contains more Melanin that can
increase the risk for adverse e󰀨ects.
Should I pull the hair out as part of or after the treatment sessions?
No. within 3 weeks the hair will naturally and gradually fall out. Not all the hairs are a󰀨ected by one treatment
because of the hair growth cycle and multiple treatments are required to reach the desired result.
Is long term use of the device dangerous for my skin?
The use of laser energy has been well documented for over 17 years. No side-e󰀨ects or damage from long term
use has been reported during that time.
Can the device be used to remove facial hair such as chin hair?
Yes, the device may be used below the cheek line, on the upper lip, cheek, jaw, chin and neck. Do not use the
device near your eyes! Men should not use the device for facial treatment.
Can men use the device?
Yes, Sense Laser is suitable for men; however men should not use the device for facial treatment. Male body
hair, especially on the chest will generally require more hair reduction sessions.

WARRANTY PERIOD AND COVERAGE AREA
The products-intended as new products-are guaranteed for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase, which is proven by presenting
the
certicate and the scal receipt; while purchases by invoice and URP.IVA are guaranteed for a period of 1 year from the date of
purchase
pursuant to law. You do not accept purchase documents with modications and/or additions. Failure to exhibit valid documents and
proof of purchase in the above terms will result in the warranty and the charge of the entire buyer’s repair costs. SMA S.R.L. does not
respond to the loss of the warranty certicate and will not be liable to issue duplicates. After 2 years from the date of purchase, the
product will no longer be covered by warranty and assistance may be given by the technical assistance centers (d light) authorised by
the SMA S.R.L. That will charge the buyer with the current tari󰀨s. Any form of warranty expires in any case after three years after the
product has been eliminated from the o󰀩cial list of SMA S.R.L. Repairs made under warranty will not give any extension or renewal
of the same.
WARRANTY SERVICES
All services covered by this warranty shall be subject to the actual defect of the product pursuant to this warranty. If the damage and/
or defect is not covered by this warranty and/or the exclusion of the warranty, The buyer will be charged all costs related to verication,
labor, replacement parts and transport of the product. The warranty may be asserted and will be e󰀨ective only with the product is
presented at the D Light Centre authorised by SMA S.R.L. or the direct seller. However, the product must be repaired at one of the
light centers authorized by the SMA S.R.L. Under no circumstances shall the seller or buyer of the product be able to or by third parties
other than authorized light centres, repairs or replacements of the product; In the case of infringement of this prohibition, the product
will not be considered in warranty. It will be the buyer’s responsibility to communicate to the D Light Center or to the direct seller of the
product, any defects and vices of the same and the willingness to use the guarantee. The expenses and risks of transport to and from
the aforementioned D Light centers will be charged to the buyer. The intervention of the authorized D light centres, the withdrawal of the
product, its repairs, and its eventual substitution will occur within the time limits that are compatible with the service to be carried out,
unless repairs and/or replacements are di󰀩cult. Any defective component replaced will be owned by the SMA S.R.L.
EXCLUSIONS FROM WARRANTY
All parts that are defective or damaged due to transport, negligence and carelessness in use, incorrect installation or maintenance
performed by the buyer or by unauthorized personnel are not covered by any warranty, Improperly or otherwise from the one for which
the product was constructed, i.e., due to circumstances which, however, can be traced to product manufacture defects. In any case,
glass parts and accessories are excluded from the warranty. Do not prove that it is a manufacturing defect. The technical interventions
inherent in the installation and/or testing of the equipment are also excluded from the product, in addition to parts subject to normal
wear.
In any case, the warranty does not cover the products with:
zSerial number is unreadable, deleted modied or removed;
zDefects due to any use not complying with the detailed instructions stated in the user manual;
zDefects due to faults or uctuations in electrical current and/or electrical system, air conditioning,Humidity or other environmental
conditions;
zDefects due to damages caused by the use of accessories, products or related components which are not part of the product
covered by the warranty;
zDamages and malfunctions resulting in use.
The warranty does not cover any accessories such as cartons, carrying cases, etc.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY’
Compensation for direct or indirect damages of any kind to persons or things because of misuse or suspension of use of the product
is not applied. In particular, the SMA s.r.l. declines any liability for any damages that may arise, directly or indirectly, to persons, pets
or things, due to the failure to comply with all the requirements set forth in the product’s user manual and concerning, above all, the
warnings regarding installation, use and maintenance of the product.

SMA S.R.L., as well as for managerial purposes related to the exercise of the economic activities of the SMA S.R.L. And for statistical
purposes, marketing and commercial information relating to the activity carried out by SMA S.R.L. Such data may be communicated
to other group of SMA S.R.L. companiesfor purposes related to the organization of the warranty service, assistance and maintenance.

INTRODUZIONE
Sense Laser by D Light è un dispositivo per la rimozione dei peli appositamente progettato per essere utilizzato
in casa con gli stessi risultati professionali di un centro estetico. Il dispositivo emette una luce laser con lun-
ghezza d’onda di 810 nm (nanometri) che colpisce solo uno specico cromoforo, ovvero la melanina. In questo
modo, viene garantita una penetrazione più profonda della luce e l’energia centra direttamente il pelo, senza
essere assorbita dagli altri cromofori presenti nella pelle.
Se l’apparecchio viene usato correttamente, il raggio concentrato focalizzato su un cromoforo specico non cau-
serà danni al tessuto circostante. Sense Laser è stato sviluppato per o󰀨rire un’altissima frequenza di ripetizione
di scatto, pari a 5 Hz (5 ash/sec.). L’utente potrà quindi eseguire i trattamenti facendo scivolare il Sense Laser
sulla pelle. Questa modalità di funzionamento rende il Sense Laser adatto a quasi tutti i tipi di pelle.
Gli utenti che hanno la pelle più chiara (fototipo I-III) o vogliono rimuovere i peli su aree in cui sarebbero neces-
sarie più passate, possono selezionare il livello di potenza più alto e Sense Laser funzionerà con una uenza
di energia di 16 J/cm2 (frequenza di ripetizione inferiore). Questo livello di potenza rende Sense Laser uno dei
dispositivi di epilazione fai da te più potenti.

Quando non è consigliato usare Sense Laser?
zNon utilizzare il dispositivo durante la gravidanza o allattamento.
zNon utilizzare il dispositivo se si è so󰀨erto di cancro della pelle o in aree a rischio di neoplasia.
zNon utilizzare il dispositivo se si so󰀨re di epilessia.
zNon utilizzare il dispositivo se ci si è sottoposti a trattamenti di radioterapia o chemioterapia negli ultimi 3
mesi.
zNon utilizzare il dispositivo se si hanno apparecchi stimolatori come pacemaker, pompe per insulina o dispo-
sitivi simili.
zNon utilizzare su pelle danneggiata o lesionata o se in passato si è so󰀨erto di herpes o psoriasi sulla zona da
trattare.
zNon utilizzare se si so󰀨re di formazione di cicatrici cheloidi.
zNon usare se si è assunto l’antibiotico Tetraciclina nelle due settimane precedenti al trattamento.
zNon usare se si è assunto farmaci con i seguenti principi attivi nelle due settimane precedenti al trattamento:
retinoidi, isotretinoina e Retin-A.
zNon utilizzare il dispositivo se si è fotosensibili o se si hanno altre malattie correlate alla sensibilità alla luce.
zNon utilizzare se si so󰀨re di condizioni metaboliche, come il diabete.
zNon utilizzare se ci si è sottoposti a un peeling cutaneo o ad altre procedure di esfoliazione della pelle nelle
6-8 settimane precedenti al trattamento.
zNon utilizzare il dispositivo in caso di esposizione a luce solare intensa o ad una macchina per l’abbronzatura
articiale nei 30 giorni precedenti al trattamento.
zNon utilizzare il dispositivo se si hanno macchie scure come lentiggini, nei o vesciche nell’area di trattamento.
zNon utilizzare MAI liquidi inammabili come alcool o acetone per pulire la pelle prima di utilizzare il dispositi-
vo.
zNon utilizzare il dispositivo sul viso al di sopra delle guance, intorno agli occhi, sopracciglia o ciglia, in quanto
l’utilizzo improprio potrebbe causare gravi danni agli occhi.
zNon utilizzare il dispositivo sopra le mucose come sul naso o nelle orecchie.
zIl dispositivo non deve essere utilizzato su tatuaggi, trucco permanente e parti intime come capezzoli, genitali
o attorno all’ano.
zSe si nota un eccessivo arrossamento della pelle, vesciche o ustioni, INTERROMPERE IMMEDIATAMENTE
L’USO!
zNon ssare direttamente la luce proveniente dalla nestra dell’applicatore.
zNon utilizzare il dispositivo per scopi diversi dalla rimozione dei peli.

Questa ripetizione eccessiva provoca un intenso accumulo di calore e può causare danni alla pelle o portare

zNon aprire o riparare il dispositivo poiché contiene componenti elettrici pericolosi che potrebbero causare
danni sici.
zNon utilizzare il dispositivo con accessori aggiuntivi non in dotazione.
zNon utilizzare il dispositivo in luoghi in cui può entrare a contatto con i liquidi (ambiente umido) per evitare di
causare l’emissione di scosse elettriche.
zSe il dispositivo cade dentro un liquido, attendere almeno 2 minuti prima di rimuoverlo. Non provare a utiliz-
zare nuovamente il dispositivo e contattare il centro di assistenza clienti.
zNon utilizzare il dispositivo se alcune parti mostrano segni di danneggiamento. L’uso improprio potrebbe
causare lesioni.

PRIMA DELL’USO
Come ricaricare Sense Laser
1. Rimuovere tutti i componenti dalla scatola.
2. Collegare la postazione di ricarica usando l’adattatore di corrente in dotazione (non si accenderà nessun LED
sulla postazione di ricarica no a che non viene posizionata l’unità principale sulla postazione).
3. Collocare l’unità principale sulla postazione di ricarica e caricarla no a quando la spia della batteria non
indica che la ricarica è completa (tempo di ricarica circa 2,5 ore). Una luce LED blu inizierà a lampeggiare sulla
postazione di ricarica quando l’unità principale è ben posizionata e collegata.

4. Il Sense Laser può rimanere in carica con la postazione di ricarica collegata alla corrente per lunghi periodi di
tempo senza provocare danni all’apparecchio.
Nota bene: per evitare danni al Sense Laser, utilizzare solo l’alimentatore della postazione di ricarica in dota-
zione.
PRIMA DEL TRATTAMENTO
Nota bene: leggere attentamente tutte le istruzioni e le precauzioni di sicurezza prima del
trattamento.
zSense Laser deve essere utilizzato solo su gambe, ascelle, zona bikini, petto, schiena, stomaco, braccia,
labbro superiore, guance, mascelle e collo.
zNon utilizzare il dispositivo su mucose come naso e orecchie.
zNon utilizzare il dispositivo su peli biondi, rossi o bianchi.
zNon utilizzare il dispositivo su piercing o oggetti metallici come orecchini e gioielli.
zEettuare un test cutaneo su una piccola porzione di pelle nell’area da trattare, 24 ore prima del primo utilizzo
del laser (vedere test cutaneo a pagina 4).
zRipetere il test cutaneo se la pelle è abbronzata (durante l’estate).
zSense Laser non è adatto per carnagioni scure o nere.
zTenere fuori dalla portata dei bambini.
zIl dispositivo deve essere utilizzato solo per la rimozione dei peli. Non usarlo per nessun altro scopo.
zUtilizzare Sense Laser solo secondo le istruzioni per l’uso.
Preparazione della pelle per il trattamento
Nota bene: non epilare la zona (sia con epilatore elettrico o ceretta) nelle 4 settimane precedenti al trattamento.
L’epilazione (rimozione dei peli dalla radice) renderà il trattamento laser ine󰀩cace.
1. Pulire la pelle ed eliminare eventuali residui di polvere, crema, trucco o deodorante.
Attenzione! Non utilizzare MAI liquidi inammabili come alcol o acetone per pulire la pelle prima di utilizzare il
Sense Laser.
2. Radere l’area da trattare. La rasatura rimuove i peli in supercie e permetta alla luce di penetrare meglio per
raggiungere il follicolo.
3. Asciugare l’area da trattare.

Prova del Sense Laser con test cutaneo
Il test cutaneo serve per determinare le reazioni della pelle al trattamento e aiuta a selezionare il livello di poten-
za ottimale per ogni area da trattare.
Eseguire un test cutaneo su ogni area che si intende trattare 24 ore prima del trattamento completo.
1. Ricaricare il Laser Sense e preparare la pelle per il trattamento (segui le istruzioni riportate sopra).
2. Sollevare l’unità principale dalla stazione di ricarica quando la spia della batteria è carica.
3. Premere e tenere premuto il pulsante di accensione per accendere l’apparecchio. Il dispositivo si imposta sul
livello di energia più basso (primo ash di luce LED blu).
4. Appoggiare la nestra di trattamento sulla pelle e mantenerla in posizione per 1 secondo. Il dispositivo inizierà
a emettere un ash in automatico, accompagnato da un bip continuato.
5. Se si riesce a tollerare il livello di potenza 1, si può aumentare la potenza al livello 2 utilizzando il pulsante di
accensione e ripetere il passaggio 4 in un punto diverso della pelle.
6. Ripetere i passaggi da 4 a 5 solo se si riesce a tollerare il livello di potenza, no ad arrivare al livello massimo
di 5. Interrompere il test quando si prova disagio, poiché aumentando il livello di energia aumenta il rischio di
e󰀨etti collaterali. Se si vericano forti arrossamenti o compaiono vesciche, interrompere immediatamente il test.
7. Aspettare 24 ore ed esaminare l’area su cui è stato e󰀨ettuato il test cutaneo. Se la pelle nell’area di test ha un
aspetto normale (colorito normale o lieve arrossamento), si può procedere con il trattamento completo al livello
di potenza testato. Se si presentano forti arrossamenti, gonore o vesciche, anche nelle impostazioni a basso
livello di energia, non eseguire il trattamento completo in quell’area.
Nota bene: Non trattare aree intere usando livelli di potenza non testati in precedenza.
Non ripetere il trattamento sulla zona per almeno 1 settimana dopo il test cutaneo. Usare la tabella sottostante
per prendere nota del livello di potenza che si vuole usare per le diverse parti del corpo.

Si consiglia di eseguire un test cutaneo (vedere sopra) almeno 24 ore prima del trattamento per sceglie-
re il livello di potenza sicuro per la pelle.
Come eseguire il trattamento
zRicaricare Sense Laser (vedere pagina 4).
zPreparare la pelle per il trattamento (vedere pagina 4).
zSollevare l’unità principale dalla postazione di ricarica quando la batteria è carica.
zPremere il pulsante di accensione per accendere l’apparecchio. Il dispositivo si imposta sul livello di energia
più basso (primo ash di luce LED blu).
zUsare il pulsante di accensione per aumentare il livello di potenza e raggiungere il livello determinato nel test
cutaneo in base alle proprie esigenze. Si accende un’altra luce LED blu all’aumentare di livello: il numero di
luci accese corrisponde al livello di potenza.
zAppoggiare la nestra del trattamento sulla pelle. Il dispositivo inizierà a emettere un ash in automatico,
accompagnato da un bip continuato. Se il segnale acustico non viene emesso, assicurarsi che la nestra di
trattamento sia a contatto con la pelle.
Nota bene: il dispositivo deve essere spostato in modo diverso sulla pelle a seconda del livello di potenza
selezionato (2 diverse modalità di funzionamento - vedere pagina 1)
Livello da 1 a 3, modalità a più passate (HRR). Questa modalità permette di mantenere in costante movimen-
to il Sense Laser sull’area da trattare. Seguendo questa modalità è necessario passare ripetutamente il dispo-
sitivo sulla stessa area, no a un massimo di 5 volte, in modo da garantire la massima copertura. Più alto è il
livello di potenza e più lento dovrà essere lo scorrimento del dispositivo poiché la frequenza del ash diminuisce
all’aumentare del livello di potenza. Se il Sensore laser smette di emettere luce durante lo spostamento, basta
sollevarlo e posizionarlo nuovamente sulla pelle per riattivare il ash.
Livello 4 e 5, modalità a singola passata (LRR): Questa modalità prevede l’emissione di un singolo ash di
luce sull’area da trattare, quindi sarà necessario spostare il dispositivo e continuare il trattamento assicuran-
dosi che non vi siano lacune o sovrapposizioni nell’area trattata. Si consiglia di spostare l’unità di circa 10 mm
(l’area della nestra di trattamento). NON ripetere il trattamento nello stesso punto per evitare di causare dolore
o surriscaldamento della pelle. Con questa modalità, il dispositivo emetterà un ash solo dopo aver sollevato
l’apparecchio e averlo riposizionato sulla pelle.
Ripetere i passaggi 5 e 6 no a completare il trattamento di tutta l’area desiderata. Il dispositivo non deve
essere utilizzato per più di 30 minuti alla volta. Dopo 30 minuti, spegnere il dispositivo e posizionarlo
sulla postazione di ricarica. NB: se il dispositivo rimane acceso ma non viene utilizzato per circa 3 minuti, si
spegnerà automaticamente. Per riaccenderlo, premere il pulsante di accensione.
Trattamento sul viso
La pelle del viso è molto sensibile e richiede particolare attenzione e cautela. Assicurarsi di seguire attentamen-
te tutte le istruzioni e le precauzioni di sicurezza per evitare e󰀨etti collaterali.
Si raccomanda di utilizzare il dispositivo solo al Livello da 1 a 3 per i trattamenti sul viso.
Attenzione!
1) Non utilizzare il dispositivo sul viso al di sopra delle guance, intorno agli occhi, sopracciglia o ciglia, in quanto
l’utilizzo improprio potrebbe causare gravi danni agli occhi.
2) Non utilizzare il dispositivo per trattare la crescita di peli nel naso e nelle orecchie.
3) Assicurarsi di eseguire un test cutaneo 24 ore prima del trattamento. Il trattamento cutaneo può essere ef-
fettuato su un’area senza peli come sotto l’orecchio o sul lato del collo. Indipendentemente dal risultato del test
cutaneo, si consiglia di iniziare qualsiasi trattamento sul viso con il Sense Laser a livello 1.
Attenzione!
4) Utilizzare uno specchio per posizionare correttamente il dispositivo sull’area da trattare.
5) Seguire le istruzioni per l’uso (vedere pagina 5) prestando maggiore attenzione alle istruzioni speciche per
l’area del corpo. Nota bene: i peli possono crescere sul viso a causa di squilibri ormonali e quindi possono
essere necessarie più sedute per ottenere una riduzione permanente della peluria.

Trattamento sul labbro superiore
Posizionare la nestra di trattamento sull’area come indicato nella gura. Ripetere no a 5 volte su ciascuna
area. Evitare le narici e le labbra poiché queste aree sono più sensibili. Se necessario, coprire le labbra con un
foglio di carta. Si consiglia di piegare le labbra verso l’interno per estendere l’area di trattamento.
Trattamento per guance e mascelle
Posizionare la nestra di trattamento come indicato nella gura. Ripetere no a 5 volte su ciascuna area, pas-
sando da un lato della mascella all’altro.
Trattamento per collo e mento
Posizionare la nestra di trattamento come indicato nella gura. Ripetere no a 5 volte su ciascuna area, pas-
sando da un lato del collo/mento all’altro.
Nota bene: La pelle nella parte inferiore del collo è più sensibile.
Cura dopo il trattamento
zApplicare una crema calmante come per esempio D Light Crema Post Trattamento.
zEvitare l’uso di peeling, creme o prodotti decoloranti per almeno 24 ore perché potrebbero irritare la pelle
trattata.
zEvitare l’esposizione diretta al sole per più di 15 minuti per almeno 1 settimana dopo il trattamento. Se la pel-

Idoneità per tipo di pelle/peli
Sense Laser emette un fascio di luce con una lunghezza d’onda di 810 nm in un unico colore (colore rosso).
A questa lunghezza d’onda, la pelle risulta trasparente alla luce mentre la melanina assorbe l’energia.
Le pelli più scure contengono più melanina e questa compete con quella dei peli nell’assorbimento della luce
laser. Se viene assorbita più luce dalla pelle, aumenta il rischio di e󰀨etti collaterali e l’epidermide può subire
danni. L’utilizzo di una lunghezza d’onda di 810 nm consente il trattamento su pelli mediamente scure.
Tuttavia, Sense Laser non è adatto per carnagioni afrocaraibiche o nere.
La luce laser di Sense Laser viene focalizzata su un punto specico (la melanina) e perciò, se il dispositivo
viene usato correttamente, non causa danni al tessuto circostante. Però, poiché il ash va a colpire solo la
melanina, la luce laser è ine󰀩cace nella rimozione di peli bianchi, rossi o grigi.

Protocollo consigliato per i trattamenti:
I peli di ogni persona crescono in modo diverso, in base all’età, al peso, al metabolismo, agli ormoni, all’etnia, ai
farmaci assunti e ad altri fattori. Ogni pelo attraversa tre distinte fasi di crescita:
Fase anagen. Questa è la fase di crescita attiva dei peli. Durante la fase anagen i peli contengono molta mela-
nina.
Fase catagen. In questa fase i peli smettono di crescere ma non cadono. Il follicolo pilifero si restringe per
prepararsi alla caduta del pelo.
Fase telogen. Durante questa fase i peli cadono e si formano dei nuovi peli. Il bulbo pilifero non è trattabile in
questa fase.
Il trattamento laser è e󰀩cace solo quando i peli sono nella fase di crescita attiva (anagen). Pertanto, sono
necessari più trattamenti per ottenere una riduzione permanente dei peli a lungo termine.
Inoltre, non tutti i follicoli piliferi nella fase attiva verranno distrutti in un singolo trattamento. Il trattamento iniziale
deve essere ripetuto per rimuovere i follicoli piliferi attivi che non sono stati trattati in modo e󰀩cace nella prima
sessione.
I trattamenti possono essere eseguiti ogni due settimane no a quando non si ottengono i risultati desiderati, di
solito in circa 3 mesi. In seguito, sarà necessario regolare il numero di trattamenti per ottenere la rimozione dei
peli desiderata.

Per alcuni individui potrebbero essere necessari più trattamenti. Chi ha la pelle più chiara e i capelli più scuri
può tollerare livelli di potenza più alta e quindi avrà bisogno di meno trattamenti, di norma circa 6. Per chi ha la
pelle più scura saranno necessari 10 o più trattamenti.
Durante il corso dei trattamenti, i peli diventano più sottili e chiari.
Cosa aspettarsi durante l’uso di Sense Laser
Poiché Sense Laser emette un raggio di luce coerente, il ash luminoso durante l’uso sarà quasi impercettibile
e si vedrà solo un’ombra rossa attorno all’intero quadrato della nestra di trattamento. Il ash non danneggia gli
occhi se la nestra del trattamento viene applicata a contatto con la pelle nelle aree di trattamento consigliate.
Non guardare mai direttamente il ash.
Rumore della ventola: inferiore a quello di un asciugacapelli.
Un segnale acustico continuo mentre il dispositivo emette luce.
Una sensazione di calore, causata dall’energia della luce dopo ogni impulso.
Una leggera sensazione di bruciore, simile a quella di colpo con un elastico.
POSSIBILI EFFETTI COLLATERALI
Assicurarsi di trattare la pelle con un livello di energia appropriato, per ridurre la probabilità di subire danni
cutanei.
Normalmente non si registrano e󰀨etti collaterali derivanti dall’uso del dispositivo. Raramente possono vericarsi

FAQ - DOMANDE FREQUENTI
Su quali aree del corpo può essere utilizzato il dispositivo?
Il dispositivo è progettato per rimuovere i peli in qualsiasi area al di sotto delle guance. Le aree più
comunemente trattate sono gambe, ascelle, braccia e zona bikini. Il dispositivo non deve essere usato per la
rimozione della barba maschile.
Il dispositivo è sicuro per l’uso?
Il dispositivo è stato testato e approvato da dermatologi e medici per soddisfare gli standard di sicurezza
europei relativi all’uso di dispositivi ad uso domestico. Questo dispositivo elettronico deve essere utilizzato
secondo le istruzioni per l’uso e le precauzioni per l’utente.
Che e󰀨etto ha il dispositivo sui peli di diversi colori?
Sense Laser funziona solo su peli scuri o che contengono più melanina. I capelli castani e castano chiaro
rispondono al trattamento, ma saranno necessarie più sedute per ottenere risultati. I peli bianchi, rossi e grigi
non possono essere trattati con il laser.
Fa male usare il dispositivo?
Alcuni utenti potrebbero provare un leggero disagio (quando si trattano peli più spessi e scuri), ma questa
sensazione sparisce una volta completata la sessione. Se il dispositivo viene utilizzato correttamente, la
maggior parte degli utenti avverte una lieve sensazione di bruciore o/e calore a ogni pulsazione della luce,
simile a quella di colpo con un elastico.
Quando si ottengono i risultati usando il dispositivo?
I risultati non sono immediati, in genere dopo due settimane molti peli nell’area trattata cadranno da soli. Poiché
i peli crescono seguendo tre diverse fasi e la luce pulsata funziona solo sui peli nella fase di crescita attiva, sono
necessarie più sedute per ottenere il risultato desiderato. I risultati sono cumulativi: durante il programma di
trattamento si noterà una minore ricrescita dei peli.
I peli ricresceranno dopo un trattamento?
Non è possibile trattare tutti i follicoli piliferi in un singolo trattamento. I risultati sono cumulativi e si noterà un
miglioramento con più trattamenti. L’interruzione della crescita dei peli dipende dalla fase di crescita al momento
del trattamento, quindi più trattamenti garantiscono risultati cumulativi ed evidenti. Si consiglia di seguire il corso
iniziale dei trattamenti no alla ne e ripetere le sessioni tutte le volte necessarie.
Quanto tempo dopo l’esposizione al sole può essere utilizzato il dispositivo?
Si consiglia di attendere 2 settimane dopo l’esposizione al sole non protetta. La pelle abbronzata contiene più
melanina e ciò può aumentare il rischio di comparsa di e󰀨etti collaterali.
Devo epilare i capelli durante o dopo le sessioni di trattamento?
No, entro 3 settimane dal trattamento i peli cadranno naturalmente e gradualmente. Non tutti i peli sono
interessati da un singolo trattamento a causa del ciclo di crescita dei peli e quindi sono necessari più trattamenti
per raggiungere il risultato desiderato.
L’utilizzo a lungo termine del dispositivo è pericoloso per la pelle?
L’uso della luce laser è documentato da oltre 17 anni. Durante questo periodo non sono stati riportati e󰀨etti
collaterali o danni derivanti dall’uso a lungo termine.
Il dispositivo può essere utilizzato per rimuovere i peli del viso come i peli sul mento?
Sì, il dispositivo può essere usato al di sotto delle guance, sul labbro superiore, sulla mascella, sul mento e
sul collo. Non usare il dispositivo vicino agli occhi! Gli uomini non possono usare il dispositivo sul viso per la
rimozione della barba.
Gli uomini possono usare il dispositivo?

marchio “D Light” (Prodotti) sono privi di difetti materiali o di fabbricazione e sono stati costruiti nel rispetto delle normative vigenti; gli
stessi Prodotti sono stati collaudati accuratamente e sottoposti a severe ispezioni dal controllo qualità. La presente è l’unica garanzia
valida; nessuno è autorizzato, con esclusione della SMA s.r.l., ad estendere o modicare i termini della stessa, e ancor più a rilasciare
altre garanzie scritte o verbali. In ogni caso è esclusa la sostituzione del Prodotto, nonché l’estensione della garanzia, a seguito del
difetto di conformità.

decade in ogni caso dopo tre anni dall’eliminazione del Prodotto dal listino u󰀩ciale della SMA s.r.l. Le riparazioni e󰀨ettuate in garanzia
non daranno comunque luogo a prolungamenti o rinnovi della stessa. La presente garanzia è valida solo se il Prodotto è stato
acquistato in Europa ed é conservato nella nazione ove è stato acquistato.
SERVIZI IN GARANZIA
Tutti i servizi oggetto della presente garanzia sono soggetti al riscontro di un e󰀨ettivo difetto del Prodotto ai sensi della presente
garanzia. Se il danno e/o il difetto non è coperto dalla presente garanzia e/o rientra nelle esclusioni dalla garanzia, all’Acquirente
verranno addebitati tutti i costi relativi alla verica, alla manodopera, alle parti di ricambio ed al trasporto del Prodotto. La garanzia
potrà essere fatta valere e sarà e󰀩cace solo con la presentazione del Prodotto al centro D Light autorizzato da SMA s.r.l. o al diretto
venditore. Il Prodotto dovrà comunque essere riparato presso uno dei centri D Light autorizzati dalla SMA s.r.l. In nessun caso il
venditore o l’Acquirente del Prodotto potranno e󰀨ettuare, direttamente o tramite terzi soggetti diversi dai centri D Light autorizzati,
riparazioni o sostituzioni del Prodotto; in ipotesi di violazione di tale divieto il Prodotto non si considererà più in garanzia. Sarà onere
dell’Acquirente comunicare al centri D Light o al diretto venditore del Prodotto eventuali difetti e vizi dello stesso e comunque la volontà
di avvalersi della garanzia. Le spese ed i rischi di trasporto da e per i citati centri D Light saranno a carico dell’Acquirente. L’intervento
del centri D Light autorizzato, il ritiro del Prodotto, le sue riparazioni e la sua eventuale sostituzione avverranno nei limiti di tempo
compatibili con il servizio da svolgere, salvo riparazioni e/o sostituzioni di󰀩coltose. Qualunque componente difettoso sostituito diverrà
di proprietà della SMA s.r.l.
ESCLUSIONI DALLA GARANZIA
Non sono coperte da garanzia tutte quelle parti che dovessero risultare difettose o danneggiate a causa del trasporto, della negligenza
o della trascuratezza nell’uso, dell’errata installazione o manutenzione eseguita dall’Acquirente o da personale non autorizzato,
dall’uso del Prodotto in modo improprio o comunque diverso da quello per il quale il Prodotto è stato costruito, ovvero, a causa
di circostanze che, comunque, non possono farsi risalire a difetti di fabbricazione del Prodotto. Restano in ogni caso esclusi dalla
garanzia parti in vetro ed eventuali accessori, se non si dimostri che trattasi di vizio di fabbricazione. Sono altresì esclusi dalla garanzia
gli interventi tecnici inerenti l’installazione e/o collaudo del Prodotto, oltre alle parti soggette a normale usura.
In ogni caso, la garanzia non copre i Prodotti con:
znumero di serie illeggibile, cancellato modicato o rimosso;
zdifetti dovuti a qualsiasi utilizzo non conforme alle dettagliate istruzioni riportate nel manuale d’uso;
zdifetti dovuti a guasti o uttuazioni della corrente elettrica e/o dell’impianto elettrico, del sistema di condizionamento dell’aria, del
controllo dell’umidità o altre condizioni ambientali;
zdifetti dovuti ad eventuali danni causati dall’uso di accessori, prodotti o componenti collegati che non fanno parte del Prodotto
coperto dalla presente garanzia;
zdanni e malfunzionamenti conseguenti l’uso.
La garanzia non copre eventuali accessori quali cartoni, valigette di trasporto, ecc.
LIMITAZIONE DELLA RESPONSABILITÀ
E’ escluso il risarcimento di danni diretti o indiretti di qualsiasi natura a persone o cose a causa di uso improprio ovvero di sospensione
d’uso del Prodotto. In particolare, la SMA s.r.l. declina ogni responsabilità per eventuali danni che possano derivare, direttamente o
indirettamente, a persone, animali domestici o cose, conseguenti alla mancata osservanza di tutte le prescrizioni indicate nel manuale
d’uso del Prodotto e concernenti, soprattutto, le avvertenze in tema di installazione, uso e manutenzione del Prodotto stesso.

far usufruire all’Acquirente la presente garanzia ed al ne di agevolare l’intervento del centro D Light autorizzato da SMA s.r.l.,
nonchè per nalità gestionali connesse all’esercizio delle attività economiche della SMA s.r.l. e per nalità statistiche, di marketing e
di informazione commerciale inerente l’attività esercitata da SMA s.r.l. Tali dati potranno essere comunicati ad altre società del gruppo
SMA s.r.l. per scopi connessi all’organizzazione del servizio garanzia, assistenza e manutenzione. Per l’eventuale esercizio dei diritti
previsti dall’art. 7 del d.lgs. 196/2003, l’Acquirente potrà rivolgersi a SMA s.r.l. - via Bianche 3, Carrè (VI) - titolare del trattamento dei

Es wird ein Laserlicht mit einer Wellenlänge von 810 nm (Nanometern) ausgestoßen, um gezielt einen bestimm-
ten Chromophor, das Melanin anzustoßen. Die ermöglicht ein tieferes Eindringen und die Energie wird direkt
auf das Ziel gerichtet und nicht von den anderen Chromophoen im Strahlengang absorbiert. Der konzentrierte
Strahl, der auf ein bestimmtes Ziel fokussiert wird, verursacht bei richtiger Anwendung keinen Schaden im
angrenzenden Gewebe.
Sense Laser wurde entwickelt, um eine erstaunliche Wiederholungsrate von 5 Hz (5 Blitzen/pro Sekunde) zu
erzielen. Dank dieser Methode können Sie bei der Behandlung den Sense-Laser in ständiger Bewegung über
die Haut bewegen. Durch diese Einstellung ist der Sense Laser für fast alle Hautypen geeignet.
Für Nutzer, die einen helleren Hauttyp haben (I-III) oder zur Entfernung der Haare an Stellen, an denen mehrere
Durchgänge schwierig wären, können Sie mit Sense Laser die maximale Arbeitsstufe auswählen, sodass das

Auaden des Sense Laser
Nehmen Sie alle Teile aus der Packung.
Schließen Sie die Ladestation mit dem mitgelieferten Netzteil an (LED leuchtet nicht, wenn das Hauptgerät nicht auf der
Ladestation platziert wurde).
Legen Sie das Gerät in die Ladestation und laden Sie es auf, bis die Akkuanzeige voll ist (Ladezeit ca. 2,5 Stunden). Ein
blaues LED-Licht leuchtet auf, wenn das Hauptgerät richtig auf der Ladestation platziert und verbunden ist.
LED-Anzeige der Ladestation: LED-Anzeige des Hauptgeräts:
- Blau: Batterie lädt
- Grün: Batterie ist voll
- Grün: Batterie voll
- Rot: Niedriger Batteriestatus
4. Der Sense Laser kann bei angeschlossener Ladestation längere Zeit ohne Beschädigung auaden.
Hinweis: Verwenden Sie nur das mitgelieferte Netzteil der Ladestation, um Schäden in Ihrem Sense Laser zu vermei-
den.

Hinweis: Bitte lesen Sie alle Anweisungen und Sicherheitsvorkehrungen vor der Behandlung sorgfältig
durch.
zDer Sense Lader sollte nur an Beinen, Unterarmen, Bikinizone, Brust, Rücken, Bauch, Armen, Oberlippe, Wange,
Kiefer und Hals verwendet werden.
zVerwenden Sie das Gerät nicht an Schleimhäuten (Nase und Ihren).
zVerwenden Sie das Gerät nicht bei natürlich blondem, rotem oder weißem Haar.
zVerwenden Sie das Gerät nicht über Piercings oder Metallgegenständen wie Ohrringen oder Schmuck.
zFühren Sie einen Hauttest im vorgesehenen Bereich ca. 24 Stunden vor der ersten Behandlung des Lasers durch
(siehe Hauttest Seite 4).
zTesten Sie Ihre Haut mit einem erneuten Hauttest, wenn Ihre Haut gebräunt ist (sonnige Jahreszeit).
zDer Sense Laser eignet sich nicht bei afro-karibischer oder schwarzer Haut.
zVon Kindern fernhalten.
zDas Gerät darf nur zur Haarreduzierung verwendet werden. Nicht zur Verwendung anderer Zwecke.
zVerwenden Sie den Sense Laser nur gemäß der Gebrauchsanweisung.
Haut für die Behandlung vorbereiten
Hinweis: Epilieren Sie 4 Wochen vor der Verwendung des Sense Laser nicht (egal, ob Sie einen elektrischen Epilierer
oder Wachs verwenden). Die Epilation (die Entfernung des Haares aus der Wurzel) macht die Laserbehandlung unwirk-
sam.
1.Reinigen Sie Ihre Haut von Rückständen wie Puder, Cremes, Make-up, Antitranspiranten oder Deodorant.Warnung!
Verwenden Sie NIEMALS brennbare Flüssigkeiten wie Alkohol oder Aceton, um die Haut zu reinigen, bevor Sie den
Sense Laser verwenden.
2. Rasieren Sie die zu behandelnde Fläche. Dadurch werden die Haare an der Oberäche entfernt, sodass das Licht
besser in den Follikel eindringen kann.
3.Trocken Sie die zu behandelnde Fläche.

Sense-Laser durch einen Hauttest testen
Der Hauttest soll die Hautreaktion auf die Behandlung ermitteln und Ihnen helfen, das optimale Energieniveau für jeden
Behandlungsbereich auszuwählen.
Führen Sie 24 Stunden vor der Anwendung einen Hauttest an allen Stellen durch, die Sie behandeln möchten.
1.Laden Sie den Sense-Laser auf und bereiten Sie Ihre Haut auf die Behandlung vor (siehe oben).
2. Nehmen Sie das Hauptgerät aus der Ladestation, wenn die Batterie voll ist.
3.Halten Sie die An / Aus-Taste gedrückt, um das Gerät einzuschalten. Das Gerät stellt sich auf die niedrigste Energiee-
bene ein (die erste blaue LED-Beleuchtung).
4.Legen Sie das Behandlungsfenster ach auf die Haut und halten Sie es dort eine Sekunde lang. Das Gerät beginnt
automatisch mit der Aufnahme und Sie hören einen anhaltenden Piepton.
5.Wenn Stufe 1 tolerierbar war für Sie, dann gehen Sie mit der An/Aus-Taste auf Stufe 2 und wiederholen Sie Schritt 4
an einer anderen Stelle des Testbereichs.
6.Wiederholen Sie die Schritte 4 bis 5 nur, wenn Sie sich wohl fühlen, bis Sie den maximalen Energiepegel von 5
erreicht haben. Beenden Sie den Test, wenn Sie sich nicht wohl fühlen. Eine Erhöhung des Energieniveaus erhöht
das Risiko von Nebenwirkungen. Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen wie Rötungen oder Blasenbildung feststellen, beenden
Sie den Test sofort.
7.Warten Sie 24 Stunden und schauen Sie sich die getestete Stelle an. Wenn die Haut im Testbereich normal erscheint
(keine Reaktion oder leicht Rötung), können Sie eine vollständige Behandlung mit dem höchsten von Ihnen geteste-
ten und für Sie angenehmen Energielevel durchführen. Wenn Sie extreme Rötungen, Schwellungen oder Blasenbil-
dung sehen, führen Sie selbst in der niedrigsten Einstellung keine vollständige Behandlung in diesem Bereich durch.
Hinweis: Behandeln Sie keine Bereiche mit dem höchsten Energielevel, die Sie nicht vorher getestet haben.
Behandeln Sie den getesteten Bereich nach dem Hauttest mindestens 1 Woche lang nicht. Benutzten Sie die untenste-
hende Tabelle, um sich das Energieniveau für die Bereiche zu notieren, die Sie behandeln möchten.

ANWEISUNGEN ZUR BEHANDLUNG
Es wird empfohlen, den Hauttest (siehe oben) mindestens 24 Stunden vor der Behandlung durchzuführen, um
ein sicheres Behandlungsniveau für Ihre Haut zu wählen.
Wie behandelt man
1.Laden Sie den Sense Laser (Seite 4).
2. Bereiten Sie Ihre Haut auf die Behandlung vor (siehe Seite 4).
3.Nehmen Sie das Hauptgerät aus der Ladestation, sobald der Akku voll ist.
4.Drücken Sie auf die Starttaste um das Gerät einzuschalten. Das Gerät stellt sich auf die niedrigste Stärke ein (erste
blaue LED-Beleuchtung).
5.Erhöhen Sie mit der An- / Aus-Taste den Stärkegrad, um den im Hauttest ermittelten Wert nach Ihren Wünschen zu
erreichen. Ein weiteres blaues LED Licht leuchtet auf, so dass die Anzahl der Level der gleichen Anzahl an blauen
LED Lichtern, die gleichzeitig leuchten, entspricht.
6.Legen Sie das Behandlungsfenster ach auf Ihre Haut. Das Gerät beginnt automatisch mit dem schießen und Sie
hören einen kontinuierlichen Piepton. Wenn Sie denn Piepton nicht hören, stellen Sie sicher, dass sich das Behand-
lungsfenster perfekt auf Ihrer Haut bendet. Wichtiger Hinweis: Abhängig von dem gewählten Stärkegrad sollte das
Gerät unterschiedliche über die Haut bewegt werden (2 verschiedene Betriebsmoden –siehe Seite 1).
Level 1 bis 3, Multiple-Pass-Technik (HRR) wird benutzt. Dieser Modus besteht darin, den Sense Laser über den zu
behandelnden Bereich und in ständiger Bewegung zu halten. In diesem Modus muss das Gerät bis zu 5 Mal über den
selben Bereich geführt werden, um eine maximale Abdeckung zu gewährleisten. Je höher der Stärkegrad, desto lang-
samer müssen Sie das Gerät gleiten lassen. Dies liegt daran, dass je mehr Energie freigesetzt wird, desto langsamer ist
die Pulsfrequenz. Wenn der Sense Laser die Impulse stoppt, während Sie ihn bewegen, heben Sie ihn einfach an und
legen Sie ihn wieder auf die Haut, um erneute Lichtimpulse auszusenden.
Level 4 und 5, Single-Pass-Technik (LRR): Dieser Modus wird ausgeführt, indem nur ein Lichtimpuls über den
behandelten Bereich geschossen wird. Bewegen Sie dann den Sense Laser zur nächsten Stelle, und lassen Sie einen
erneuten Impuls los, wobei Sie sicherstellen sollten, dass sich keine Lücken oder Überlappungen im Bereich benden.
Es wird empfohlen, das Gerät um den Abstand des Fensters (10mm) zu bewegen. NICHT wiederholt an derselben Stelle
behandeln, um Beschwerden oder Hauterwärmungen zu vermeiden. In diesem Modus schießt das Gerät erst dann
wieder, wenn es angehoben und wieder auf die Haut gelegt wird.
7.Wiederholen Sie Schritt 5 bis alle ausgewählten Bereiche vollständig behandelt wurden. Das Produkt sollte nicht
länger als 30 Minuten am Stück benutzt werden. Schalten Sie das Gerät nach 30 Minuten aus und legen Sie
es in die Ladestation. Hinweis: Wenn das Gerät etwa 3 Minuten lang nicht benutzt wird, schaltet es sich automatisch
aus. Wenn dies geschehen ist, drücken Sie den Startknopf, um das Gerät wieder einzuschalten.
Gesichtsbehandlung
Die Gesichtshaut ist ein empndlicher Bereich, der besondere Vorsicht und Pege erfordert. Stellen Sie sicher,
dass Sie alle Anweisungen und Vorkehrungen sorgfältig befolgen, um negative Auswirkungen zu vermeiden.
Es wird empfohlen, für die Gesichtsbehandlung nur die Stufen 1 bis 3 zu verwenden.
Warnung!
Benutzten Sie das Gerät nicht oberhalb der Wangen; um die Augen, Augenbrauen und Wimpern, da dies zu schweren Augenschä-
den führen kann.
Benutzen Sie dieses Gerät nicht zur Haarentfernung von Haaren in Nase und Ohren.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie 24 Stunden vor der Behandlung einen Hauttest durchführen, um die Eignung festzu-
stellen. Der Hauttest kann an einem haarfreien Bereich wie unter dem Ohr oder am Hals durchgeführt werden.
Auch nach einem Hauttest wird dringend empfohlen, eine Gesichtsbehandlung mit dem Sense Laser immer auf
Stufe 1 zu beginnen.
Warnung!
Verwenden Sie einen Spiegel, um den Applikator richtig auf dem Behandlungsbereich zu platzieren.
Befolgen Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung (siehe Seite 5) mit zusätzlicher Vorsicht zu den folgenden spezischen
Anweisungen. Hinweis: Gesichtsbehaarung kann hormonell sein und kann daher mehrere Sitzungen erfordern,
um eine dauerhafte Haarreduktion zu erreichen.
Oberlippenbehandlung
Platzieren Sie das Behandlungsfenster auf den Bereich, wie in der Abbildung angegeben. Wiederholen Sie den
Vorgang bis zu 5 Mal für jeden Bereich.
Vermeiden Sie die Nasenlöcher und die Lippen, da diese Bereiche empndlich sind. Wenn nötig, legen Sie ein
Blatt Papier auf die Lippen. Sie können Ihre Lippe nach innen „falten“ oder die Lippen zusammenpressen, um
einen besseren Behandlungsbereich zu erreichen.
