• The microwave oven is intended to be used free-standing.
• Do not place this microwave into a cabinet.
• CAUTION:Remove wire twists from paper and plastic bags before
placing in the oven.
• Do not heat oil or fat for deep frying in the oven as the temperature of
the fat can’t be controlled.
• After use wipe the waveguide cover with a damp cloth, followed by
a dry cloth to remove any food splashes and grease. Built up grease
may overheat and smoke or ignite.
• If materials inside the oven smoke or ignite, keep the door closed, turn
oven o󰀨 and disconnect the power supply in order to stie any ames.
• WARNING: Liquids and other foods must not be heated in sealed
containers since they are liable to explode; Baby bottles tted with a
screw cap or teat are considered sealed containers.
• Liquids should be heated in a wide mouthed container and left for a
short period after the heating cycle to avoid possible hazards such as
delayed eruptive boiling of the liquid. Therefore care must be taken
when handling the container.
• Potatoes, sausage and other skinned foods should be pierced before
heating.
• Eggs in their shell and whole hard-boiled eggs should not be
heated in microwave ovens since they may explode, even after the
microwave heating has ended.
• Only use utensils suitable for use in a microwave oven.
• Do not store food or other items in the oven.
• Do not operate the oven without any food or liquid inside, this may
damage the oven.
• WARNING: If the door or door seals are damaged or if the oven
has malfunctioned, the oven must not be operated until it has been
repaired by a competent person. It is hazardous for anybody other
than a suitably qualied person to carry out any service or repair
that involves the removal of a cover which gives protection against
exposure to microwave energy.

Installation
• Select a level surface no less than 85cm (33 inches) from the oor,
that provides enough space for the outlet vents.
• A minimum clearance of 5cm (2 inches) is required between the oven
and any adjacent wall, with a minimum clearance of 10cm (4 inches)
between the rear of the microwave and the wall.

Using you microwave oven
1. Place the Microwave Oven on a solid level, heat resistant surface,
ensure that the ventilation outlets are not obstructed.
2. Before rst use open the door and place the Turntable Support (5) in
the base of the oven as shown in the diagram above.
3. Place the glass Turntable (3) onto the Motor Spindle (4). Rotate the
Turntable a little until the notches in the turntable drop onto the Motor
Spindle (4).
4. Insert the mains plug into the nearest socket.
5. The display will light up and show ‘0:00’.
STOP/Clock function
a. Setting the clock
The clock time can be displayed in either 12 hour or 24 hour.
1. In standby mode, press the STOP/Clock button for 3 seconds until
hour display ashes.
2. Turn the Time Weight button to select the required hour.
3. Press the START+30s button to select the minutes and turn the Time
Weight button to select the required minutes.
4. Press the START+30s button to conrm.
Note: if the microwave is disconnected from the power supply, the clock
will need to be reset.
b. STOP
During cooking you can press the STOP/Clock button to pause a setting,
and press again to cancel a setting.
Express/Instant Start
In standby mode, after placing food in the oven press the START+30s
button, the oven will start automatically. The pre-set time is 30 seconds
and with each press it will increase by 30 seconds.

Microwave function
There are 5 microwave power levels:
1. Press the Microw button continuously to select the required
microwave power.
2. Turn the Time Weight button to select the cooking time. The cooking
range can be set between 10 seconds and 60 minutes.
3. Press the START+30s button to start cooking.
4. After cooking has nished 3 beeps will be heard and the display will
show End.
5. Each press of the START+30s button will increase the cooking time
by 30 seconds.

Caution:
• Never operate the microwave oven while empty.
• At the maximum microwave power level 100%, the oven will
automatically lower the power after a certain time of cooking to
lengthen the service life of the oven.
• If you turn foods over during cooking, press the START+30s button
after closing the door to continue cooking.
• If you remove the foods befofre a prest cooking time, press the
STOP/Clock button to avoid any unintended use.
When cooking has nished 3 beeps will be heard and the display will
show END.

Defrost
There are 2 defrost settings, dEF1 and dEF2.
• dEF1 - defrost foods by weights
• dEF2 - defrost foods by time
1. Press the Defrost button to select dEF1 or dEF2.
2. Turn the Time Weight button to select the weight of the foods or the
time. The weight range for dEF1 is 100g to 1500g, and the time range
is 0:10 seconds to 60:00 minutes.
3. After selecting the weight for time for defrosting, press the
START+30s button to start defrosting.
4. After cooking has nished 3 beeps will be heard and the display will
show End.
Note: If you have chosen the option dEF1 defrosting by weight, during
cooking the oven will beep to prompt you to turn the food over.
Defrosting tips
Microwaves penetrate approximately 4cm into most foods, to maximise
defrosting e󰀨ects, the following is advised:
• For thick and chunky foods, turn the food regularly during operation in
order to obtain uniform thawing.
• If food is over 2.0kg it is advised to turn it a minimum of two times.
• Do not refreeze food once defrosted.
• The following table provides a guide to defrost times for various foods:

Auto function menu
This auto function has eight pre-set cooking programs. You do not need
to set either cooking times or power level. The table in the next page
shows the details of the programs.
1. Press the Menu button to select the auto menu.
2. Turn the Time Weight button to select the weight or number of
portions.
3. Press the START+30s button to start cooking.

The result of auto cooking depends on factors such as uctuation
of voltage, the shape and size of food, your personal preference
as to the how well cooked certain foods are and even how well you
happen to place food in the oven. If you nd the result at any rate not
quite satisfactory, please adjust the cooking time a little bit accordingly.

Grill function
This function allows food to be cooked and grilled for the browning at
the same time without microwave, grill cooking is particularly useful for
thin slices of meat, steaks, chops, kebabs, sausages of piece of chicken.
It is also suitable for hot sandwiches and au gratin dishes. The longest
cooking time you can set is 60 minutes. Open the door. Place the food on
the grill stand, one best suited to the type of food to be cooked. Place the
grill stand on the turntable. Close the door.
There are 3 grill functions, G - Grill, C1 - Combination1 and C2 -
Combination. The cooking time can be set between 10 seconds and
60 minutes
1. Press the Grill button continuously to select the required cooking
mode.
2. Turn the Time Weight button to select the cooking time.
3. Press the START+30s button to start cooking.
When cooking has nished 3 beeps will be heard and the display will
show END.
Child lock
Use this function to lock the control panel, once the child lock is set all the
buttons on the control panel will be disabled.
To set the child lock: Press and hold the STOP/Clock button and
the Menu button at the same time. The lock symbol will appear on the
display.
To cancel the child lock: Press and hold the STOP/Clock button and
the Menu button at the same time.

Utensils guideline
It is recommended that only utensils and containers marked safe for
microwave use should be used in this microwave oven. As a general
rule a container made from heat resistant ceramic, glass or plastic
are suitable for microwave cooking. Never use metal containers for
microwave cooking.

Cooking tips
• Arrange the food so thicker pieces are towards the edge of the
container and thinner pieces towards the centre.
• Initially cook for a short time period in order to evaluate the true
cooking time required.
• Food should be turned/stirred during cooking to allow for even
heating.
Cleaning and maintenance
• Always ensure that the microwave oven is switched o󰀨 and
disconnected from the wall socket before cleaning.
• The turntable and rotating ring can be removed and cleaned in warm
water with a mild detergent.
• The inside and outside of the microwave oven should be cleaned
regularly with a damp cloth and mild detergent, paying particular
attention to the waveguide cover. All food splashes and spills should
be removed.

Electrical Connections
This appliance is tted with a fused three-pin plug to BS 1363. If the
p l u g h a s t o b e r e m o v e d , i t s h o u l d b e c u t o 󰀨 a n d c a r e f u l l y d i s p o s e d o f
immediately. To avoid a possible shock hazard, do not insert the
discarded plug into a mains socket.
Fitting a new plug
If for any reason you need to t a new plug, the exible mains lead must
be connected as shown below. The wires in the mains lead tted to this
appliance are coloured in accordance with the following code:

• After replacing or changing a fuse on a moulded plug, the cover must
be retted to the plug; the appliance must not be used without a fuse
cover.
