IV.CAMERAMOUNTING
Aftercameraissecurelymounted,plugthecamerapigtailintorearofAgCam®camera.Youcannowplugtheremaining
endofthepigtailintoyourpower/videoextensioncable.Makesuretheextensioncablesaresecurelyattachedandlocked
(¼turnwilllockthecablestogether).
A.TemporaryMounting
o Fortemporarymounting,itisrecommendedthatyouusethesupplied65#pullmagnet.Ifusingmagnetic
mount,fastencameracablewithaziptieorotherstylefastener.Thiswillactasa“safetywire”intheeventyour
cameraisknockedlooseforsomereason.Whenselectingalocation,makesurethattheequipmentsurfaceis
cleanofallforeignmaterialandasflataspossibletoensurethatthemagneticcamerabasewillhavegood
contactandnotvibrateoff.
B.PermanentMounting
o Forpermanentmounting,itisrecommendedthatyouremovethemagnetandattachtoanysolidsurfacewith
two(2)screws.

o Important‐Laddersarenotgoodmountingchoicesduetolackofstability.
o IfyouwillbeusingyourAgCam®forassistinginvisibilityfortowing,youwillwanttopositionthecamerasoyou
canseethedesiredareaandaportionofthevehicle/trailerintow;thiswillgiveyousomereferencetodistance.
YouwillalsowanttousethemirroredsettinginthemonitormenuorremovethemagnetintheMIRfunction
plugonthecamerasoastoaccuratelyrepresentleftandright.Thiswillgiveyoutheeffectoflookinginarear
viewmirror.
V.CAMERAWARNINGS
A. NEVERRELYONYOURAGCAM®ASASAFETYFEATURE.
Itisuptoyourdiscretiontokeepyourroadtravelandotheroperationssafe.YourAgCam®willprovideyouwith
informationonlybasedonwhatitsees.Operationofmachinerysafetyguidelinesstillapply.
B. TheAgCam®isequippedwithanarrayofinfraredlightemitterswhichareinvisibletothehumaneye.Thisfeaturewill
aidinlowlightconditionsbuthaslimitations.Theeffectiverangeofthenightvisionfeatureis1to45+feetandwill
produceamonochromeimageonly.

VI.CABLEROUTINGTIPS&WARNINGS
Therearetwo(2)lengthsofcablethatcomestandardwithourAgCam®camerakits:One(1)20’andone(1)60’.Ifyouwouldlike
topurchasedifferent,oradditional,cablelengths,pleasecontactyourlocalAgCam®dealer.
A. Cableroutingisimportant;whereyouchoosetorunthecablesshouldnotinterferewiththenormaloperationofthe
machineoranysafetyequipment.
B. ALWAYSbeawareofany“pinchpoints”orotherpotentialhazardstothecable(s).
C. Secureallcablestovehicle/equipmentusingcableclips,ziptiesorotherstylefasteners.
D. IfyouintendtouseyourAgCam®forshortlengthPTOoperatedimplement,avoidexcesscablelengths,ifpossible.
Whenyoudecideonalocation,youshouldfixthecameratoapermanentbracketusing¼inchbolts,andattachany
loosecablesecurelysothereisnochanceofentanglementinthePTOorothermovingparts.
E. IfyouuseyourAgCam®tomonitoracombinehopperorothercombineoperations,takecaretorememberthat
combineshavemanymovingparts.Useextremecarewhenroutingcables,anditisstronglyrecommendedthatyou
useboltstosecurethecamera.Whileitwouldbesufficienttousethemagneticbaseformonitoringpurposesduring
roadtravel,itisadvisedtosecurethecamerawithboltsduringoperationofthecombine.
VII.MONITORINSTALLATION&MOUNTING
A.MountingPrecautions
Removeyourmonitorcarefullyfrompackagingandinspectallmountinghardware.Mountinglocationisthemost
importantpartofthemonitorinstallationasitensuresyouthemaximumvisualbenefitfromyourAgCam®system.
Withthatsaid,wheninstallingyourmonitor,ensuretofollowthesethree(3)precautions:
1. Themonitorisoutofdirectsunlight.Thiswillprolongthelifeoftheunitaswellasensureoptimumvisibility.
2. Themonitordoesnotobstructview.
3. Themonitordoesnotinterferewiththenormaloperationofequipment.

EnduraCamcamerasaredesignedforhighimpact,moisture,vibrationandavarietyofotherroughconditions.OverView
camerasandkitcomponentsaredesignedforlightuse,lowvibrationandlowmoisture.OverViewequipmentisnotwarranted
whenusedinsituationsoutsideoftheabovementionedparameters.Wealwaysrequestthatcustomerskeepinmindthatour
lessexpensiveOverViewproductlineischeaperbecauseitdoesnotfeaturethereliabilityanddurabilityofourAgCamand
EnduraCamlines.Thewarrantyavailableontheseproductsreflectthatdurability.
Toavoidelectricalshockandmaintainoptimalfunctionality,donotopentheenclosures.Highvoltagemaybepresentand

descriptionoftheissuesathand.Nofinaldeterminationcanbemadeuntilinspectionandtestingoftheequipmentiscompleted

atnochargetothepurchaserforpartsorlaborfortheperiodofthree(3)yearsforAgCam®/EnduraCam®andInnoPro®cameras;two(2)yearsfor
AgCam®/EnduraCam®monitors,andWirelesscomponents;TwelveMonths(12)forallOverviewCameras&Monitors,cablesandallother
accessories.
TheDakotaMicrolimitedwarrantyperiodsoutlinedaboveapplythroughouttheUnitedStatesandCanadaonly.Aone(1)yearmaximumlimited
warrantyforallProductsappliestoallothergeographiclocationsunlessotherwisestatedinwritingbyDakotaMicro.
ThislimitedwarrantydoesnotapplytoanyissuesconnectedwithappearancethathavenorelationtotheperformanceoftheProductnortoany
Producttheexteriorofwhichhasbeendamagedordefaced,whichhasbeensubjectedtoimpropervoltageorothermisuse,abnormalserviceor
handling,orwhichhasbeenalteredormodifiedindesignorconstruction.
Inordertoenforcetherightsunderthislimitedwarranty,thepurchasershouldfollowthestepssetforthinthecompleteDakotaMicro“Warranty
&RepairPolicy”listedonpage11‐sectionXVI,andprovideproofofpurchasetoDakotaMicro.
NeitherthesalespersonnelofDakotaMicronoranydealeroranyotherpersonisauthorizedtomakeanywarrantiesotherthanthosedescribed
herein,ortoextendthedurationofanywarrantiesbeyondthetimeperiodsdescribedherein.
ThewarrantiesdescribedhereinshallbethesoleandexclusivewarrantiesandremediesprovidedbyDakotaMicro.Correctionofdefects,inthe
mannerandfortheperiodoftimedescribedherein,shallconstitutecompletefulfillmentofallliabilitiesandresponsibilitiesofDakotaMicrotothe
