Instruction
This instruction should be kept in the furnace room
The user is responsible for the burners working order and that the following points are observed.
Regulations:
The furnace room and the room containing the oil tank must bee clean and tidy at all times. Inflam-
mable materials, including selfigniting and explosive materials must not be stored in these rooms.
Maintenance:
The oil burner and air heater, should be inspected and adjusted once a year, to maintain good en-
vironmental and economical operation.
Because of wear and tear the following components shall always be replaced during af complete
overhaul:
– Oil nozzle
– O-ring for oil pump
– Filter for oil pump
If the installation is provided with a prefilter, the filter cartridge and the o-ring should also be repla-
ced.

Dimensioning of oil pipes
One-line system:
The pump is designed to allow working with
two pipes. In order to obtain one pipe working
it is necessary to unscrew the return plug (2),
remove the by-pass screw (3) and then screw
again the plug (2).
It is sufficient to loosen the suction gauge con-
nection (6) and wait until oil flows out.
It is neccesary to install a filter on the fuel sup-
ply line.
Attention: Do not start the burner before oil
flows out.

The burner is designed to allow entry of the oil supply pipes on either side. Depending on
the oil supply pipes position (to the right or to the left hand side of the burner) the fixing plate
(1) and closing plate (2) should be reversed.
One-line system:
On the tank installa-
tion, where vacuum
can occur in the oil
tubes, you install a
flow-control between
the front filter and the
oil burner.
The pump suction should
not exceed a maximum of
0.4 bar (30 cm Hg). Bey-
ond this limit gas is rea-
lised from the oil.
Oil lines must be complet-
ely air tight.
It is necessary to install a filter on
the fuel supply line.
Start the burner and wait for the priming.
Should lock-out ocur prior to the arrival of the fuel,
await at least 20 seconds before repeating the
operation.

Assembling
Cables and control box, fuel heating
Electrical wiring:
El cable (min. 1 mm2) with 7-pin plug Wieland
plug on the burners control box. The control
box has intern 230 V/5 Amp. fuse (B). If the
fuse should be defect the oil burner will not
start eventhough you messure 230 V bet-
ween L1 and 0 in the 7-pin plug (check the fu-
se).
All internal components are connected via
plug to the control boxs print circuit board.
To remove the control box from the burner,
loosen screw (A, fig. 1) and pull to the arrow
direction, after removing all components, the
7 pin plug and earth wire.
Fuel heating:
The oil preheater has a variable effect from
50 – 80 W. The preheater thermostat relea-
ses the burner ready to run when the oil tem-
perature is 70° C.
Ignition transformator:
The ignition transformator is build in in the
control box. The ignition cables are con-
nected to the plug connector on the cover of
the control box.
Lock-out:
By lock-out the reset button on the control
box will turn on. The user can try to lock-in by
pushing on the reset button three times ma-
ximum.
If the red LED (3) lights up, call the service
agent. To restore normal operation, the aut-
horized service agent must move the control
box backwards, without disconnecting the
power supply, and press the reset tab (see
fig. 2) with an appropriate tool.
Led indication:
1: Green (fan)
2: Yellow (heater)
3: Reed (lock-out signal)
If the control box has to be changed
remember to remove the bridge “C”.

Accessibility to the nozzle:
Remove the burner from the boiler after
loosening the flange anchor nut.
Hook the burner onto the flange (1), loosen
the bolts (3) and remove the blast tube (2)
by rotating (the fitting is bayonet type).
Remove the small cables (4) from the elec-
trodes and the diffuser disc-holder assem-
bly (5) from the nozzleholder assembly
after loosing its fixing screw (3, fig 2).
Screw the nozzle (6) and tighten it as
shown in the figure.
Setting of electrodes:
Install the support diffuser disc (1) on the
nozzle holder (2) and tighten the screw (3)
for further adjustment of the electrode spa-
cing loosen the screw (4) and the electrode
(5) can be moved forward and backwards
until the measurement is correct. If the oil
burner has to run in the highest capacity
(see page one technical data) the diffuser
disc has to be changed. Hereafter adjust
the ignition electrode according to the di-
mensions.

If the oil burner has to run in the highest ca-
pacity the diffuser disc has to be changed
(see page 6) and the enclosed sticker is to
be put on the model sign.
*At maximum capacity the isolation (3,
page 4) has to be removed in order to incre-
ase the air capacity.

Adjustment
Warning:
In the event of maintenance made to the
nozzle-holder assembly, screw the nut (C)
as shown in the figure to the right.
Pump pressure:
The pump leaves the factory set at 12 bar.
To change it act on pump pressure adjust
screw (4, page 3).
Air damper adjustment:
Use the knob (7) to make adjustments after
slightly loosening the screw (8) and
swinging out the protective covering (9).
Once adjustments have been made, place
the protective covering (9) in its correct po-
sition and tighten the screw (8).
The figure shows adjustment of the air dam-
per to a flow rate of 2.1 kg/h (notch 2.6).
When burner shuts down the air damper
automatically closes to a max flue draw of
0.5 mbar. The burner is also fitted with an
electromagnedtic device (10) which pre-
vents any slamming of the air damper on
burner starting, even in the presence of
high boiler counter-pressure.
Note:
In the event that the electromagnetic dam-
per anti-slamming device (10) fails, the bur-
ner will not start as the device is connected
to the motor in series (see diagram page 8),
and as such takes on a role of safety device.
In the event of an anomaly, the burner may
even be started without the device as it is
connected to the circuit via special connec-
tors which allow it to be cut out. The male
and female connectors on the device wire
must be disconnected and the motor con-
nectors must beconnected between them.
When resorting to this temporary solution, it
is fundamental that an alternative adjust-
ment og the air damper is carried out.

Kontrollieren Sie überdies:
– ob die eingestellte Temperatur des
Raumtemperaturreglers höher ist als die
Raumtemperatur
– ob die Sicherungen intakt sind
– ob der Überhitzungsthermostat nicht ab-
gestellt ist
– ob es Öl im tank gibt
Vor dem Start kontrollierend:
– ob die Ventile der Öl zufuhr offen sind
– ob die Passage im Rauchabzug frei ist
– ob Luken und Reinigungsklappen dicht
sind
– ob die Regeleinrichtung auf eine ange-
messene Temperatur eingestellt ist.
Bedienungsanleitung
DIESE ANLEITUNG MUSS IM HEIZRAUM AUFBEWAHRT WERDEN
Der Benutzer trägt die Verantwortung dafür, dass die Anlage im betriebssicheren Zustand ist, und
dass die untengenannten Punkte engehalten werden.
Vorschriften:
Laut den Feuerungsvorschriften müssen Heizraum und eventuell Räume mit Heiß Öl tanken sauber
und ordentlich gehalten werden. In diesen Räumen dürfen feuergefährliche -hierunter selbstent-
zündliche oder explosionsgefährliche Stoffe - nicht gelagert werden.
Wartung:
Mindestens einmal jährlich sollten Ölbrenner und Kessel gereinigt, überprüft und justiert werden, so
dass ein umweltfreundlicher und wirtschaftlicher Betrieb gesichert wird.
Bei Verschleiß sollten die unten erwähnten Komponenten immer bei der Generalüberholung ge-
wechselt werden:
–Öldüse
– O-Ring Dichtung für Öl pumpe
– Filtereinsatz für Ölpumpe
Wenn die Anlage mit einem Vorfilter versehen ist, sollten der Filterinsatz der Anlage und die O-ring
Dichtung außerdem gewechselt werden.

Montage
Öl ansaugssystem
Einstrangsystem:
Ein Einstrangsystem wird bei Anlagen benützt
wo ein Vakuum in der Öl-leitungen nicht vor-
kommen kann.
Die Pumpe wird durch Entfernen der Bypass
Schraube im Rucklaufstutzen (3) auf Ein-
strangbetrieb umgestellt.
Die Pumpe wird durch losen der Vakuum-
schraube (5) entlüftet.
ACHTIUNG!
Ölbrenner nicht bei der Entlüftung in Gang
setzen.

Die Öl schläuche werden mit den Winkelanschlüssen an der Ölpumpe montiert, wobei die
Öl schläuche nach links oder nach rechts aus dem Brenner herausgeführt werden können.
Es muss jeweils die Halteschelle (1) bzw. der Verschlußwinkel (2) gewechselt werden.
Einstrangsystem:
Bei Tankanlagen, in denen sich in
den Öl rohren ein Vakuum bilden
kann, wird zwischen dem Vorfilter
und dem Brenner ein Durchfluss-
regler eingebaut.
Das Vakuum in den Öl leitungen darf nie
0,4 bar überscheiten - dies entspricht ca.
4,60 M Saugehöhe (H).
Vergewissern sie sich, ob die Sauglei-
tungen völlig dicht sind und am besten
ohne Verbindungen. Wir empfehlen, die
beiden Leitungen im Tank auf gleicher Höhe en-
den zu lassen (10-20 cm über dem Boden abhän-
gig vom Typ der Tank).
Die Entlüftend der Pumpe wird beim Demontieren
des Manometeranschlußes (Siehe Seite 3, Pos.
7) und beim Starten des Öl brenners vorgenom-
men. Sollte dabei eine Störabschaltung erfolgen,
mindestens 20 Sekunden warten und danach den
Vorgang wiederholen.
