Quick Start Guide
S810 - Bluetooth Audio Receiver
Introduction
With Bluetooth wireless technology, S810 gives you the convenient wireless way to enjoy the
streaming stereo music transmitted from the Bluetooth A2DP*1 device such as mobile phone, mp3
player, PC or PDA in the available range.
Moreover, you can use S810 to remote control the music playing functions of your Bluetooth device
that supports Bluetooth AVRCP*2.
Switching between music and phone calls, S810 also allows you answer or make calls with the
Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone*3 while you are listening to music. After you ended the call, the music
will follow to be streamed in few seconds*4. Besides the wireless stereo and mobile hands-free
applications, you can apply the S810 to the Bluetooth-enabled PC*5 with the Internet messenger such
as Skype, MSN Messenger or Yahoo! Messenger.
Notes:
*1 The playback or its plug-in Bluetooth adapter/transmitter needs to support Bluetooth A2DP (Advanced Audio
Distribution Profile).
*2 The playback or its plug-in Bluetooth adapter/transmitter needs to support Bluetooth AVRCP (Audio Video Remote
Control Profile).
*3 The mobile phone needs to support Bluetooth HSP (Headset Profile) or HFP (Hands-free Profile) and support
Bluetooth A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile).
*4 Some mobile phones do not release the connection switch function to the headset, which will cause the headset to
fail to switch the Bluetooth connection between music and call.
*5 The computer or its plug-in Bluetooth adapter needs to support Bluetooth HSP (Headset Profile).

How to Charge this Bluetooth Headset
The Bluetooth headset S810 has Built-in rechargeable battery.
Before using for the first time, you have to fully charge the battery for 2-3 hours.
S810 can provide 6-9 hours of listening time and over 150 hours of standby time.
Charging Instruction
1) The RED LED will flash continuously when battery power is low.
2) Connect the power charging ports with a power source (USB charger or AC charger). When
charging, the RED LED will be on.
3) When the headset is fully charged, the BLUE LED indicator will be ON. Disconnect the charger from
the power source.
How to use Bluetooth Headset along with your mobile phone
Power on
When the headset is off,long press the MFB button until the blue LED flickers to turn it on.
Enter pairing mode
When the headset is off,long press the MFB button until the blue and red LED flicker alternatively. It
means the Bluetooth Headset is in Pairing Mode.
Pair with the Mobile Phone
Pairing is the process of linking the Bluetooth Headset with your Bluetooth device (for example, a
mobile phone). Before you use Bluetooth Headset with your Bluetooth mobile phone, you must pair the
mobile phone with your headset. After the first time they got paired, next time you just need to turn the
headset on and off when you need it. It will automatically reconnect when you turn the headset on
(make sure your mobile phone Bluetooth function is on).
If you wish to use the headset with another mobile phone, you must repeat the pairing process with the
new mobile phone, in this case, the Bluetooth Headset will no longer work with the former mobile
phone.
Please follow the below steps for pairing:
1) When the headset is off, press and hold the MFB button until the red and blue LED flash
alternatively. Make sure your Bluetooth mobile phone is on, and its Bluetooth function has been
activated.
2) Follow the operating instruction of your Bluetooth mobile phone to start the pairing process.
Typically, this is done by going to a “Connect” or “Setup” menu and then selecting the option to
search the S810 that is still in the pairing mode.
3) The mobile will find device name S810 and ask whether you are willing to connect your mobile with
the headset. Press “Yes” or “Confirm” to confirm this action. If necessary, input the password
“0000”.
Receive a Call
When there is an incoming call, press the MFB button of the headset to answer it.

End a Call
Press the MFB button to end it.
Reject incoming call
When there is an incoming call, press and hold the MFB button and you will hear a prompt tone from
the headset. The call is rejected.
Redial a call
In the standby mode, to redial the last outgoing call number, press the MFB button twice and you hear
1 beep.
Voice Dialing
In the standby mode, press the MFB button for 2 seconds then release. You will hear prompt tone from
the headset, say the voice tag. (Please check whether your mobile phone is equipped with voice
dialling function and support Bluetooth Handsfree Profile. Before using the function, make sure you
have record a voice tag into the mobile phone).
Music Function
Play/Pause: In the standby mode, press the MFB button shortly to activate music play, again to
pause.
Previous/Next: Press the Previous/Next key shortly to realize such function.
Volume +/-: Press the Volume +/- key shortly to realize the volume +/- function.
Power off
Press the MFB button until the red light flickers, the device is powered off.
Dual connection
S810 is capable of having two mobile phones connected to it at the same time. This will give you the
freedom of having one adaptor to operate both your mobile phones.
1. Pair the second mobile phone.
After paired S810 with the first mobile phone, turn off the S810. Then press the MFB button of S810 for
7 seconds until the Blue and Red LED flash alternatively. It means it enter the pairing mode. Go to the
second mobile phone’s Bluetooth menu and search the S810 and pair with it.
2. After pairing the second mobile phone, the first mobile phone will be disconnected with S810, so you
need to connect the first mobile phone from the phone setting, so that BOTH mobiles are connecting
with the S810.
Last Number redial and the Voice Dialing function only will work on the first connected mobile phone.
Trouble-shooting
If you are unable to connect your Bluetooth Headset with your Bluetooth audio device, please try the
following:

Ensure your headset is turn on and is properly charged.
Ensure the Bluetooth headset is in pairing mode when you try to pair it with your mobile. If the
headset is left with blue & red LED flashing alternatively but not being paired for over 3 minutes,
the headset will be shut off automatically. You have to turn off the headset then enter the pairing
mode again.
Ensure the Bluetooth dongle or other device is paired with your stereo Bluetooth headset.
Ensure your device is Bluetooth activated. Please refer to your device’s user manual for
instruction.
Ensure the headset is within a maximum 10 meters (about 30 feet.) of your Bluetooth device and
there are no obstructions, such as walls or other electronics devices in between.
If the above suggestions do not solve your problem, please recharge your S810 and Bluetooth audio
device for a while, then start pairing again.
