FRONT PANELFEATURES
Channel Features (All Channels):
1. GAIN: This controls the gain applied to the signal at the channel input and, consequently, the level
of that channel in the final mix.
2. TONE: This controls the balance between the high and low frequencies in the signal sent from the
channel to the Master section.
3. REVERB: This controls the level of the signal sent from the channel to the internal reverb and to
the SEND output for the application of external effects.
4. LINE Input: ¼” unbalanced JACK input for LINE level signal sources.
5. MIC Input: Balanced XLR [PIN 1=Ground; PIN 2=HOT(+); PIN 3=COLD(-)] input for the
connection of condenser and dynamic microphones. All MIC inputs offer +15V phantom power
for condenser microphones. Balanced-output dynamic microphones can be used with this input,
but unbalanced types may not be used.
MASTER Section Features:
6. LOW:This controls the level of the low frequencies in the final mix.
7. MID: This controls the level of the mid frequencies in the final mix.
8. HIGH: This controls the level of the high frequencies in the final mix.
9. POWER LED: This lights to indicate when the power is on.
10. MASTER LEVEL: This controls the level of the final mix that is sent to the output amplification
stage, thereby regulating the overall volume of the system.
11. REVERB: This controls the level in the final mix of the mix of signals to which reverb and/or
external effects have been applied.
12. FOOTSWITCH: This is for the connection of a 1-way footswitch (not included) with a ¼” Mono
Jack connector. Such a footswitch will allow you to insert or remove the Reverb signal from the
final mix.
13. SEND: This furnishes a signal from the preamplifier of the channels (controlled by the REVERB
control on each channel) for connecting to the input of an external effect unit or the first effect in a
chain of effects.
14. RETURN: This input is used to reinsert the signal from external effects; it is to be connected to the
output of the effect or the last effect in a chain of effects.
15. LINE OUT: This is a 1V RMS (LINE Level) output for sending the Master signal to a mixer,
recorder, power amplifier etc.

User Instructions
Congratulations on your choice of the PA100. This manual is designed to explain the features, controls and
functions of the PA 100. It contains important information that will aid the user to make the best use of this
versatile amplifier and find his or her personal sound. It also contains important precautions to avoid damage
to the unit or other connected devices, and to avoid danger to the user. Please read it thoroughly before using
the amplifier, and keep it for future reference.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING - When using electrical products, basic precautions should be followed, including the following:
1. Read all the instructions before using the product.
2. Do not use this product near water for example, near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, in a wet
basement or near a swimming pool, or the like.
3. If used imprudently, this product may cause permanent hearing loss. Do not operate for long periods of
time at high volume level or at any level that is uncomfortable. If you experience any hearing loss or
ringing in the ears, you should consult an audiologist.
4. The product should be located so that its location or position does not interfere with its proper ventilation.
5. The product should be located away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, or otherproducts
that produce heat.
6. The product should be connected to a power supply of the type described in the operating instructions or
as marked on the product.
7. The power supply cord of the product should be unplugged from the outlet when left unused for a long
period of time.
8. Care should be taken so that objects do not fall and liquids are not spilled into the enclosure through
openings.
9. The product should be serviced by qualified personnel when:
a. The power supply cord or the plug has been damaged; or
b. Objects have fallen, or liquid has been spilled into the product: or
c. The product has been exposed to rain or moisture: or
d. The product does not appear to operate normally or exhibits a marked change in performance: or
e. The product has been dropped, or the enclosure damaged.
10. Do not attempt to service the product. All servicing should be referred to qualified service personnel.
11. For continued protection against the risk of fire, replace fuses only with those of the same type and rating
as indicated on the back of the product.
WARNINGS USED ON THE EQUIPMENT
The lightning flash with the arrowhead symbol within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the
user to the presence of uninsulated 'dangerous voltage' within this product's enclosure that may be of
sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock.
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of
important operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying this
product.
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This product must be grounded (earthed). If it should malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a
path of least resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock. This product is equipped with
a supply cord having an equipment grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged
into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with the local codes and
ordinances.
DANGER -Improper connection of the equipment grounding conductor can result in a risk of electric shock.
Check with a qualified electrician or serviceman if you are in doubt as to whether the product is properly
grounded. Do not modify the plug provided with the product if it will not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet
fitted.

ISTRUZIONI PER L’USO
Congratulazioni per aver scelto il PA 100. Questo manuale è progettato per dare chiarimenti sulle
caratteristiche, sui controlli e sulla funzionalità del PA 100. Contiene informazioni importanti per aiutare
l’utente non solo a trovare un suono piacevole e personale per sfruttare al massimo questo amplificatore
versatile, ma anche precauzioni importanti per evitare danni all’amplificatore o ad apparecchi o sistemi
collegati, e per evitare pericoli all’utente. Leggete attentamente il contenuto di questo manuale prima di
utilizzare l’amplificatore, e tenetelo come riferimento.
IMPORTANTI ISTRUZIONI DI SICUREZZA
AVVERTENZA – Quando si usano prodotti elettrici, si dovrebbero seguire delle precauzioni fondamentali tra
cui le seguenti:
1. Leggere tutte le istruzioni prima di usare il prodotto.
2. Non usare il prodotto in prossimità dell’acqua, per esempio vicino ad una vasca, ad un lavandino, in una
cantina bagnata o vicino ad una piscina, ecc.
3. Questo prodotto, se usato non correttamente, può causare la perdita permanente dell’udito. Non
utilizzare per lunghi periodi di tempo a volume alto o a qualsiasi livello di volume che risulti fastidioso. In
caso di perdita di udito o problemi simili, consultare un medico specializzato.
4. Il prodotto dovrebbe essere situato in modo che abbia una ventilazione appropriata.
5. Il prodotto dovrebbe essere situato lontano da fonti di calore come radiatori, termosifoni, o qualsiasi
cosa che produca calore.
6. Il prodotto deve essere collegato solo a fonti di energia elettrica del tipo descritto nelle istruzioni per
l’uso.
7. Il cavo elettrico non deve restare inserito nella presa qualora il prodotto non venga usato per lunghi
periodi di tempo.
8. Si eviti che oggetti e liquidi penetrino inavvertitamente nel prodotto.
9. Il prodotto deve essere riparato da personale qualificato quando:
a. Il cavo elettrico o la spina siano danneggiati
b. Oggetti o liquidi siano penetrati nel prodotto
c. Il prodotto sia stato esposto a pioggia o a umidità
d. Il prodotto sembri non funzionare normalmente o mostri cambiamenti notevoli del rendimento
e. Il prodotto sia caduto o l’esterno risulti danneggiato.
10. Non cercare di riparare il prodotto. Ogni riparazione dovrebbe essere effettuata da personale
qualificato.
11. Per evitare rischio di incendio, sostituire i fusibili solo con quelli dello stesso tipo e portata indicati sul
retro del prodotto.
AVVERTENZE USATE SUL PRODOTTO
Il simbolo del lampo con la freccia all’interno di un triangolo equilatero avverte l’utente della
presenza all’interno del prodotto di “Voltaggio Pericoloso” non isolato di magnitudine sufficiente a
costituire un rischio di shock elettrico.
Il punto esclamativo all’interno di un triangolo equilatero avverte l’utente della presenza di
importanti istruzioni ope-rative e di manutenzione fornite insieme al prodotto.
ISTRUZIONI PER LA MESSAATERRA
Questo prodotto deve essere messo a terra. In caso di malfunzionamento o guasto, la messa a terra fornisce
un percorso di resistenza minore per la corrente elettrica per ridurre il rischio di shock elettrico. Questo
prodotto viene fornito di cavo dotato di conduttore e spina per la messa a terra. La spina deve essere
inserita in una presa appropriata e correttamente installata e messa a terra in conformità con le norme
locali.
PERICOLO -Il collegamento improprio del conduttore per la messa a terra può determinare il rischio di
shock elettrico; in caso di dubbi sulla messa a terra, consultare un elettricista. Non modificare la spina

16. POWER: Turns the PA 100 on and off.
17. MAINS CONNECTOR: This is for the connection to the included power cable. The Mains fuse
is contained in the compartment incorporated into this connector.
18. PARALLEL OUTPUT: These two outputs are for the connection of the two included speaker
cabinets. NOTE ON THE USE OF OTHER SPEAKERS: these two outputs are in parallel with a
minimum total load impedance of 4 S; therefore a single 4 Ohm cabinet could be connected to one
of these outputs, two 8 Ohm cabinets could be connected separately o the two outputs, two 8 Ohm
cabinets could be connected in parallel and then connected to one of the outputs etc. NEVER
CONNECT SPEAKERS WHOSE IMPEDANCE IS UNKNOWN, AND NEVER CONNECT
SPEAKERS WHOSE COMBINED IMPEDANCE IS LESS THAN 4 OHMS. DOING THIS
COULD DAMAGE THE UNIT,THE SPEAKERS OR BOTH.

CARATTERISTICHE DELPANNELLOANTERIORE
Caratteristiche dei Canali (Uguali per tutti i canali):
1. CONTROLLO GAIN: Regola il livello di guadagno applicato al segnale dal preamplificatore
del canale e, conseguentemente, il livello di quel segnale nel mix finale.
2. CONTROLLO TONE: Regola il bilanciamento tra le frequenze acute e le frequenze basse che
viene applicato al segnale all'ingresso del canale, prima della mandata al mix finale
3. CONTROLLO REVERB: Regola il livello del segnale all'ingresso del canale che viene mandato
al riverbero interno ed all'uscita SEND per l'applicazione di effetti esterni.
4. INGRESSO LINE: JACK 6,3mm asimmetrico per collegare con sorgenti di segnali mono a
livello LINE.
5. INGRESSO MIC: XLR simmetrico [PIN 1=Massa; PIN 2=HOT(+); PIN 3=COLD(-)] per
collegare microfoni dinamici o microfoni a condensatore. Tutti gli ingressi MIC forniscono
alimentazione Phantom a +15V, per l'alimentazione di microfoni a condensatore. Possono essere
utilizzati microfoni dinamici con uscite simmetriche (bilanciate), ma non microfoni dinamici con
uscite asimmetriche.
Caratteristiche della Sezione MASTER:

11. CONTROLLO REVERB: Regola il livello generale del mix dei segnali a cui viene applicato il
riverbero interno e gli effetti esterni prima di essere mandato al mix finale. In pratica, regola il
livello di riverbero e gli effetti esterni sentito nel mix finale.
12. FOOTSWITCH: Usato per la connessione di un selettore a pedale 1-via con un connettore Jack
6,3mm mono (modello De Salvo FS 1) per inserire e disinserire il riverbero interno dal segnale
master.
13. SEND: Fornisce un segnale a livello LINE (Regolato dai controlli REVERB dei canali) da
mandare ad effetti esterni. Si collega all'ingresso dell'effetto o del primo effetto di una catena di
effetti.
14. RETURN: Reinserisce il segnale provenente dall'uscita dell'effetto esterno (o l'ultimo effetto in
una catena di effetti) per mandarlo al mix finale.
15. LINE OUT: Fornisce un segnale del mix finale a livello LINE per mandarlo ad un altro mixer o
amplificatore esterno
