comes with a three-prong,

it into a standard, three-hole,
grounded, outlet. If cord needs
replacing, use only a cord with a
three-prong, grounding plug.

ATTACHING BLOWER ACCESSORY
1. Remove front panel from heater by remov-
ing four painted screws holding front panel
to cabinet.
2. Remove knock out from cabinet back
panel (see Figure 2).
3. Toremoveknockoutplatefrombafe,snip
two small tabs in front of plate. Move plate
up and down as shown in Figure 3 until tabs
in back snap apart. Discard knockout.

der Installing to Wall in owner’s manual.
2. Plug power cord of blower into grounded
outlet.

6. Position blower assembly on cabinet back
panelwithinletoverslotsinpanel,andout-
let pointed towards front (see Figure 4).
7. While holding blower against inside of
back panel, attach blower with two #10
screws (supplied) as shown in Figure 4.
8. Attachblowerswitchtoupperbafewith
two #8 screws (see Figure 4).
9. Reattach front panel to heater using four
painted screws.
10. Complete installation of heater by follow-
ing the steps in your owner’s manual.

EXTENSION CORD
Use extension cord if needed. The cord must
have a three-prong, grounding plug and a
three-hole receptacle. Make sure cord is in
good shape. It must be heavy enough to carry
the current needed. An undersized cord will
cause a drop in line voltage. This will result in
loss of power and overheating. Use a No. 16
AWG cord for lengths less than 50 feet.
CAUTION: Verify proper op-
eration after servicing.
OPERATING BLOWER
The blower is connected to a thermostat.
Whenunitheatsup,theblowerwilloperate.
A few minutes after unit cycles off or is turned
off,blowerwillshutoff.Blowerwillcycleon
and off in this manner. Note: If you have a
heater with a thermostat, the heater and
blower will not turn off and on at exactly the
same time. Blower cycle times will vary with
heat setting selected.

SOPLADOR
1. Retire el panel anterior del calentador
quitando cuatro tornillos pintados que
sujetan el panel anterior al gabinete.
2. Retire la placa perforada de la parte pos-
teriordelgabinete(consultelagura2).
3. Para retirar la placa perforada de la
pantalladeectora,cortecontijerasdos
lengüetaspequeñasenlaparteanterior
de la placa. Mueva la placa hacia arriba y
haciaabajocomosemuestraenlagura
3, hasta que las lengüetas de la parte
posterior se separen. Deseche la placa
perforada.

4. Saque del empaque la nueva pantalla
deectorainferior.Fijelapantalladeec-
tora superior con 2 tornillos N° 10 como
semuestraenlagura3.
5. Inserte el cable de alimentación a través
deloricioquedejólaplacaperforadaen
el panel posterior.
PRECAUCIÓN: No conecte
el cable de alimentación en el
tomacorriente sino hasta que la
instalación esté terminada.
6. Coloque el conjunto de soplador en el
panelposteriordelgabinete,conlaentra-
dasobrelasranurasdelpanel,yconla
salida orientada hacia el frente (consulte
lagura4).
7. Sujete el soplador hacia el interior del panel
posterior y fíjelo con 2 tornillos N° 10 (in-
cluidos)comosemuestraenlagura4.
8. Fije el interruptor del soplador a la pantalla
deectorasuperiorcondostornillosN°8
(consultelagura4).
9. Vuelva a colocar el panel anterior en
el calentador utilizando cuatro tornillos
pintados.
10. Termine la instalación del calentador
siguiendolospasosqueseindicanenel
manual del propietario.

1. Instale el calentador en la pared siguiendo
lospasosqueseindicanenelmanualdel
propietario,enInstalación en la pared.
2. Conecte el cable de alimentación delConecte el cable de alimentación del
soplador en un enchufe con conexión a
tierra.
CABLE DE EXTENSIÓN
Utiliceuncabledeextensiónencasoquelo
necesite. El cable debe tener una clavija de
tres patas con conexión a tierra y un enchufe
detresoricios.Compruebequeelcableesté
en buen estado. Debe ser sucientemente
grueso para soportar la corriente necesaria.
Sielcableesmásdelgadoseproduciráuna
caídaenlalíneadevoltaje.Estoocasionará
pérdida de potencia y sobrecalentamiento.
Para longitudes inferiores a 15.24 m (50 pies)
utilice un cable AWG No. 16.
PRECAUCIÓN: después de

1. Enlevez le panneau avant de l'appareil
dechauffageendévissantlesquatrevis
peintesquiretiennentlepanneauavant
à l'habillage.
2. Enlevezlaplaqueamovibledupanneau
arrièredel'habillage(voirgure2).
3. Pour enlever la plaque amovible du
déecteur, coupez les deux petites lan-
guettesdevantlaplaque.Pliezlaplaque
vers le haut et vers le bas comme illustré
àlagure3jusqu'àcequeleslanguettes
cèdent.Jetezlaplaque.

dansl'emballage.Fixez-leaudéecteur
supérieur avec deux vis n° 10 comme
illustréàlagure3.
5. Faites passer le cordon dans le trou dé-
fonçable dans le panneau arrière.

6. Placezlesoufeursurlepanneauarrière
del'habillage,l'entréed'airsurlesfentes
au panneau et la sortie d'air pointant vers
l'avant(voirgure4).
7. Entenantlesoufeurcontrel'intérieurdu
panneau arrière, xez le soufeur avec
deux vis no 10 (fournies) comme illustré
àlagure4.
8. Fixez l'interrupteur du soufeur au dé-
ecteursupérieuravecdeuxvisn°8(voir
gure4).
9. Replacez le panneau avant sur l'appareil
dechauffageaveclesquatrevispeintes.
10. Terminez l'installation de l'appareil de
chauffage en suivant les étapes suivantes
du manuel d'utilisation.
