The device " Music of the Plants" is designed solely for purposes "consumer".
The appliance must be used by responsible adults. It is not suitable for use by children.
The device allows you to control a MIDI tone generator by measuring the electrical resistance
of the tissues of a plant / tree. It is, therefore, a biofeedback system, which transforms the
variations of a physical parameter of the plant in the control signals for a MIDI sound
generator.
The system, choosing the desired sensitivity, is able to self-regulate with respect to changes of
the resistance.
It is NOT intended to function on any part of the human or animal body.
For a different use than it’s designated origin requires specific authorization to the
manufacturer. Otherwise use is not considered compliant.

A.1.2.8 Safety measures in normal conditions
Before operating the device, users should check that details of the place chosen for the
performance do not constitute any danger for not being compatible with the device (see
section ‘Suitable places for using the device’).
Check also that the device is in good condition and all electrical connections are functioning
correctly (feeder, if supplied with the device).
If you find the area unsuitable or the device or the electrical connections malfunctioning, do
not use the device.
A.1.2.9 Dangers using electrical devices
The feed voltage for the U1 model of the Music of the Plants device, coming from
an AC-DC transformer, or a rechargeable battery-powered charger, must be 12 V
DC.
If you use an external feeder, other the one supplied with the device, please check
that it is in good conditions and properly functioning.
The use of different types of transformers must be previously approved by the manufacturer,
who will issue relevant authorisation in writing.
The AC-DC transformer must be connected to the device according to the guidelines described
in the relevant section.
The AC-DC transformer must be connected to a F.M. system, which complies with the accepted
national standards.

In order to guarantee its correct and safe functioning, all the general instructions must be
carefully followed.
The device has not been designed to be used in ‘places of increased risk in case of
fire’, and should not be used in such places.
The device has not been designed to be used in very damp or wet places or
conditions, and should not be used in such places or conditions.
Safe use of the device also depends on the temperature being in the set range, which is
between 0°C and +50°C. You must also consider the good conditions for the plant.
A.1.2.18 Connection with power supply
It is very important that the feed voltage for the device, coming from an AC-DC
transformer, or better still from a rechargeable battery-powered charger (for ex.
PSU 12 Pb, or a lead-acid battery 12 V 2/3 Ah, or four linked 4.5 V) is higher than 12
V DC, in the range of 12 to 18 V DC.
If you are using a transformer, connect the plug of the transformer to the power supply with
the correct tension value (for Europe 230V/50Hz), according to the value shown on the plate
on the transformer. It is important to plug in the transformer following the existing norms and
regulations, and to comply with the safety measures as well as with grounding (earthing)
procedures.
Unroll the AC-DC transformer cable completely in order to avoid possible burnout.
Use only the cable supplied in the package, or one which is basically identical. In
any case, the cable must comply with the current regulations of the country where
the device is utilized
