1. Elettroemanatore per ricarica
liquida La funzione Elettroemanatore per
ricarica liquida è indicata per ambienti for-
temente infestati. Il dispositivo deve essere
usato esclusivamente con ricariche originali
Zanzarella/Sandokan; l’uso di prodotti diversi
potrebbe causare esalazioni tossiche o rischio
di incendio.
Togliere il tappo di protezione dalla ricarica e
avvitare il flacone all’interno dell’alloggiamento
come mostrato in figura 1. Quando si utilizza il
dispositivo in questa modalità è necessario ri-
muovere piastrine attrattive Pro Attractins even-
tualmente presenti; operazione da effettuare
con il dispositivo scollegato dalla rete elettrica.
- Inserire la spina in una presa di corrente e

attivare la piastra riscaldante agendo sull’inter-
ruttore ON/OFF posto sul retro.
- Collocare il dispositivo verticalmente, assicu-
randosi che la base del flacone sia orientata
verso il basso.
PLUG-IN 5 è dotato di spina girevole e può
adattarsi a qualsiasi presa di corrente.
AVVERTENZE SPECIFICHE PER LA FUNZIO-
NE ELETTROEMANATORE
Non è consentita la permanenza in ambienti
chiusi con l’apparecchio in funzione.
Aerare sufficientemente il locale prima di sog-
giornarvi nuovamente.
È sconsigliata l’esposizione continuata a perso-
ne sensibili (bambini, asmatici, ecc).
Non tenere PLUG-IN 5 con la piastra riscaldante
in funzione a contatto con tessuti, carta e mate-
riali combustibili in genere.
Non toccare la piastra riscaldante quando è in
funzione.
Fare riferimento anche alle indicazioni d’uso e
alle avvertenze riportate sulle etichette di Ricari-
ca liquida Zanzarella/Sandokan.
Oltre alle avvertenze di cui sopra attenersi anche
alle NOTE SPECIFICHE SULLA SICUREZZA
ATTENZIONE! Eventuali residui oleosi sulle parti
del prodotto rappresentano normali residui di
evaporazione, pulire con un panno asciutto o
con carta da cucina.
Si sconsiglia l’uso su superfici danneg-
giabili dal contatto con i residui oleosi
dell’evaporazione.
2. Fornelletto per piastrine profu-
mate
Il dispositivo deve essere usato esclusivamente
con le Piastrine Profumate Zanzarella/Sando-
kan; l’uso di prodotti diversi potrebbe causare
esalazioni tossiche o rischio di incendio.
Introdurre una piastrina nell’alloggiamento oriz-
zontale sulla parte anteriore del dispositivo (fig.
2).

3. Stermina insetti a scarica
Quando si utilizza l’apparecchio in questa fun-
zione è necessario spegnere la piastra riscal-
dante agendo sull’apposito interruttore ON/
OFF posizionato sul retro del PLUG-IN 5 (vedi
paragrafi precedenti). Inoltre, è necessario ri-
muovere piastrina e flacone, operazione da ef-
fettuare con il dispositivo scollegato dalla rete
elettrica.
Nella funzione stermina insetti il dispositivo può
essere impiegato anche con porte e finestre
chiuse in quanto non emette sostanze inset-
ticide. Per questa ragione è particolarmente
indicato per camere da letto, ambienti in cui si
soggiorna per lungo tempo e, in generale, per
ambienti con bassa densità di zanzare.
Accendere quindi la piastra riscaldante agen-
do sul pulsante ON/OFF. Quando si utilizza il
dispositivo in questa modalità è
necessario ri-
muovere piastrine attrattive Pro Attractins even-
tualmente presenti; operazione da effettuare
con il dispositivo scollegato dalla rete elettrica.
AVVERTENZE SPECIFICHE PER LA FUNZIO-
NE FORNELLETTO

COME FUNZIONA
Le femmine degli insetti che si nutrono di san-
gue pungono per procurarsi le proteine che
servono loro per maturare le uova. Si muovono
alla ricerca dell’ospite da pungere seguendo
stimoli visivi come i contrasti di luce e olfattivi
come l’anidride carbonica, il vapore acqueo e
gli odori emessi dal copro con il respiro e la
sudorazione.
Sandokan PLUG-IN 5 crea una combinazione
di tutti questi stimoli, ingannando gli insetti e
facendoli avvicinare alla griglia elettrificata che
li elimina al minimo contatto.
Per ottimizzare l’efficacia attrattiva del dispo-
sitivo è necessario utilizzarlo in condizioni di
bassa luminosità ambientale.
4. Emanatore per Pro Attractins
Zanzarella/Sandokan
Sandokan PLUG-IN 5 è predisposto per l’uti-
lizzo dell’attrattivo Zanzarella/Sandokan Pro
Attractins, che potenzia l’efficacia attrattiva
delle luci LED, soprattutto nei confronti delle
zanzare diurne. Il dispositivo è dotato di un al-
loggiamento, posto sul retro (FIG. 3) nel quale
va inserita la piastrina attrattiva.
Istruzioni per l’inserimento:
- Staccare PLUG-IN 5 dalla presa di corrente.
- Inserire l’attrattivo nell’apposito alloggiamen-
to.
- Riattivare PLUG-IN 5 riattaccandolo alla pre-
sa di corrente.
- Sostituire l’attrattivo ogni 10-15 giorni, aiu-
tandosi con uno stuzzicadenti per rimuovere la
piastrina esausto.
5. Luce notturna di cortesia
La tenue luce a LED emessa dal dispositivo,
oltre ad eliminare gli insetti fastidiosi, è anche
una gradevole lampada di cortesia. Quando si

utilizza l’apparecchio in questa modalità assi-
curarsi che la piastra riscaldante sia spenta e
che non siano collegati all’apparecchio Piastri-
ne e/o flaconi di Ricarica Liquida Sandokan.
MANUTENZIONE E PULIZIA
Prima di effettuare qualsiasi operazione di ma-
nutenzione è necessario scollegare il dispositi-
vo dalla rete elettrica.
Pulire la griglia elettrificata e tutte le altre parti
della trappola aiutandosi con il pennellino in
dotazione.
Effettuare le operazioni di pulizia ogni 15 giorni,
o più spesso se la griglia risulta completamente
coperta di insetti.
ATTENZIONE! PER LA PULIZIA NON IM-
MERGERE E NON ADOPERARE ACQUA
NOTE IMPORTANTI DI SICUREZZA
Togliere tutto il materiale di imballaggio e, per
evitare pericolo di soffocamento, non consenti-
re ai bambini di giocarci.
L’apparecchio è da utilizzarsi esclusivamente
in ambienti interni.
L’apparecchio non è destinato ad essere usato
da persone (bambini compresi) le cui capaci-
tà fisiche, sensoriali o mentali siano ridotte,
oppure con mancanza di esperienza o di co-
noscenza, a meno che esse abbiano potuto
beneficiare, attraverso l’intermediazione di una
persona responsabile della loro sicurezza, di
una sorveglianza o di istruzioni riguardanti l’uso
dell’apparecchio.
L’apparecchio deve essere tenuto fuori dalla
portata dei bambini.
I bambini devono essere sorvegliati per assicu-
rarsi che non giochino con l’apparecchio.
Non usare l’apparecchio se presenta rotture.
Non usare l’apparecchio se bagnato o con

tracce di umidità.
Non usare l’apparecchio se la spina è danneg-
giata.
Evitare il contatto tra il dispositivo e superfici
calde.
Non utilizzare in aree dove possono essere pre-
senti gas infiammabili o vapori pericolosi.
Non esporre mai l’apparecchio alla pioggia,
non dimenticarlo all’aperto e non esporlo ad
ambienti molto sporchi.
Non adatto per l’uso in granai, stalle e luoghi
simili.
Staccare dalla spina quando non si usa.
Assicurarsi sempre che vi sia sufficiente spa-
zio intorno a PLUG-IN 5 per la circolazione
dell’aria. Prima di inserire la spina accertarsi
che la tensione di rete sia la stessa indicata
sull’apparecchio.
Se una parte dell’apparecchio risulta danneg-
giata, non tentare di effettuare autonomamen-
te le riparazioni, ma rivolgersi ad un centro di
assistenza.
Questo apparecchio è destinato solo ed esclu-
sivamente all’uso per il quale è stato concepito
ed i costruttore non è responsabile per even-
tuali danni derivati da un uso improprio.
GARANZIA
CONDIZIONI: L’apparecchio è garantito per un
periodo di due anni dalla data di acquisto che
viene comprovata da un documento valido agli
effetti fiscali rilasciato dal rivenditore autoriz-
zato che attesti il nominativo del rivenditore e la
data in cui è stata effettuata la vendita.
La presente garanzia lascia impregiudicati i
diritti che derivano al consumatore dal d.lgs.
24/2002 “attuazione della dir. 99/44/CE su talu-
ni aspetti della vendita e delle garanzia dei beni
di consumo”, diritti che il consumatore può far
valere esclusivamente nei confronti del proprio
venditore.
La presente garanzia è valida solo sul territorio

della Comunità Europea.
Nel periodo di garanzia di 24 mesi, Euroequipe s.r.l.
si impegna a riparare o sostituire gratuitamente le
parti componenti l’apparecchio riconosciute difet-
tose all’origine per vizi di fabbricazione.
In caso di guasto irreparabile o di ripetuto guasto
della stessa origine, si provvederà a giudizio della
casa costruttrice alla sostituzione dell’apparecchio.
La garanzia sul nuovo apparecchio continuerà fino
al termine del contratto originario.
Non sono coperte dalla garanzia tutte le parti che
dovessero risultare difettose a causa di negligenza
o trascuratezza nell’uso (mancata osservanza delle
istruzioni per il funzionamento dell’apparecchio),
di errata installazione o manutenzione operate da
personale non autorizzato, di danni da trasporto
ovvero di circostanze che, comunque non possono
farsi risalire a
difetti di fabbricazione dell’apparecchio.
Sono altresì esclusi dalle prestazioni in garanzia gli
interventi inerenti all’installazione agli impianti di
alimentazione, nonché le manutenzioni citate nel
libretto istruzioni.
La garanzia è inoltre esclusa in tutti i casi di uso
improprio dell’apparecchio.

Euroequipe srl declina ogni responsabilità per
eventuali danni che possono, direttamente o indi-
rettamente, derivare a persone, cose ed animali do-
mestici in conseguenza della mancata osservanza
di tutte le prescrizioni indicate nel presente libretto
istruzioni e concernenti specialmente le avverten-
ze in tema d’installazione, uso e manutenzione
dell’apparecchio.
Qualora l’apparecchio venga spedito presso il Cen-
tro del Servizio di Assistenza tecnica locato in Via
del Lavoro1/3 40056 Crespellano (BO) i rischi ed i
costi di trasporto relativi saranno a carico dell’uten-
te. Sono a carico del Servizio assistenza Euroequi-
pe s.r.l. le spese per la rispedizione all’utente.

Il simbolo del cestino barrato riportato sull’appa-
recchio indica che il prodotto, alla fine della propria
vita utile, dovendo essere trattato separatamente
dai rifiuti domestici, deve essere conferito in un
centro di raccolta differenziata per apparecchiature
elettriche ed elettroniche oppure riconsegnato al
rivenditore al momento dell’acquisto di una nuova
apparecchiatura equivalente.
L’utente è responsabile del conferimento dell’ap-
parecchio a fine vita alle appropriate
strutture di raccolta previste dalla vi-
gente legislazione sui rifiuti.
L’adeguata raccolta differenziata per

1. Liquid rell electrodiffuser
The liquid refill Electrodiffuser function is sui-
table for environments with a high infestation.
The device shall be used with Sandokan ori-
ginal refills, only; the use of different products
could cause toxic exhalations or even the risk
of fire.
Remove refill protective cap, and screw bottle
inside the special housing, as shown in figure
1. When the device is used in this mode, re-
move any Pro Attractins attractive tablet still
present, making sure that the device is discon-
nected from power mains.

SPECIAL WARNINGS FOR ELECTRODIFFU-
SER FUNCTION
It is forbidden to stay inside closed areas when
the device is ON.
Duly ventilate the room before staying inside it
again.
The continuous exposure to sensitive persons
(children, asthmatics, etc...) is not recommen-
ded.
While the heating plate is on, do not keep
PLUG-IN 5 in contact with fabrics, paper and
other flammable materials.
Do not touch the heating plate while it is ON.
Refer to the use recommendations and war-
nings written on Sandokan liquid Refill labels.
Besides complying with the above-listed re-
commendations, observe also the SPECIAL
SAFETY NOTES
- Plug device in, and enable the heating pla-
te using the ON/OFF switch positioned at the
back of the device.
- Position the device vertically, as shown in fi-
gure 2, making sure that the bottle bottom is
pointing down.
PLUG-IN 5 features a rotary plug, suitable for
any type of power socket.
2. Scented tablet burner
The device shall be used with Sandokan Scen-
ted Tablets, only; the use of different products
could cause toxic exhalations or even the risk
of fire.
Insert a tablet inside the horizontal compart-
ment on device front side (fig. 2). Then switch
the heating plate on using the ON/OFF switch.
When the device is used in this mode, remove
any Pro Attractins attractive tablet still present,
making sure that the device is disconnected
from power mains.

SPECIAL WARNINGS FOR BURNER FUN-
CTION
It is forbidden to stay inside closed areas when
the device is ON.

3. Discharge insect killer
When the device is used in this function, the he-
ating plate shall be turned on through the spe-
cial ON/OFF switch positioned on the PLUG-IN
5 back side (see previous paragraphs). In addi-
tion, with the device disconnected from power
mains, remove both tablet and bottle.
When working in the insect killer function, the
device can be used also with closed doors
and windows as it does not release any toxic
substance. It is thus mainly suitable for use
inside bedrooms - where people usually stay
for a long time - and, as a general rule, also
for environments with a low concentration of
mosquitos.
HOW IT WORKS
Insect females feed on blood and bite to obtain
the proteins they need to make their eggs ma-
ture. They fly around to find the hosts to bite

following visual stimuli as light and olfactory
contacts such as carbon dioxide, water vapour
and the odours released by the human body
through breathing and sweating.
Sandokan PLUG-IN 5 creates a combination of
all these stimuli, deceiving insects and making
them approach the electrified grid, eliminating
them at the min. contact.
To optimise its attractive effectiveness, the de-
vice will have to be used in poor-lighted envi-
ronments.
4. Diffuser for Sandokan Pro At-
tractins
Sandokan PLUG-IN 5 is prearranged for the
use with the Sandokan Pro Attractins attrac-
tive, allowing to enhance the LEDs attractive
capacity, mainly for daytime mosquitos. The
device features a compartment, positioned on
the back side (fig. 3), where the attractive tablet
shall be inserted.
Tablet insertion instructions:
- Unplug PLUG-IN 5.
- Insert the attractive product inside the special
compartment.
- Plug PLUG-IN 5 in again to reactivate it.
- Replace the attractive product every 10-15
days, using a toothpick to remove the exhau-
sted tablet.
5. Courtesy night light
Besides eliminating the annoying insects, the
soft LED light released by the device also ser-
ves as a pleasant courtesy light. When the de-
vice is used in this mode, make sure that the
heating plate is off and no Tablets and/or San-
dokan Liquid Refill bottles are connected to the
device itself.

TRAP MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Before carrying out any maintenance opera-
tion, disconnect the device from power mains.
Clean the electrified grid and all the other trap
parts using the supplied brush.
Perform cleaning operations every 15 days, or
even more often if the grid is fully covered by
insects.
ATTENTION! FOR CLEANING OPERATIONS,
DO NOT USE WATER OR DIP THE GRID
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTES
Remove all packing material and, to prevent
any chocking, do not allow children playing
with it.
The device shall be used indoors, only.
The device shall not be used by people (chil-
dren included) with reduced physical or mental
capacities, or without any experience or know-
ledge, unless they are under the supervision
of a person responsible for their safety or they
have been instructed on how to use the devi-
ce.
The device shall be kept out of the reach of
children.
Children shall be watched over to make sure
they do not play with the device.
Do not use the device if it shows signs of bre-
aks.
Do not use the device if it is wet or shows signs
of moisture.
Do not use the device if the plug is damaged.
Avoid contact between the device and hot sur-
faces.
Do not use the device inside areas where
flammable gases or dangerous vapours are
present.
Never expose the device to rain, do not forget
it outdoors, and do not expose it to very dirty
environments.

Not suitable for use inside barns, stables, or
similar.
Unplug the device when not in use.
Make always sure that enough space is pre-
sent around the PLUG-IN 5 to ensure a correct
air circulation. Before plugging the device in,
make sure that mains voltage is the same spe-
cified on the device itself.
If one of device parts is damaged, do not fix it
by yourself, but contact an authorised service
centre.
This device is suitable for its intended use, only.
The manufacturer will not be liable for any da-
mage resulting from device misuse.
CONDITIONS: this device is guaranteed for
two years from the purchase date, which is
proved by a document released from the dea-
ler. The document must show both name of the
dealer and the sale date.
The present guarantee does not influence the
rights of the consumer that derives from the
directive
99/44/CE, which deals with some aspects of
the sales and of the warranties of the consu-
mers goods.
The consumer can claim the mentioned rights
only with his own vendor. For guarantee is in-
tended the free replacement or repairing of the
defective components, resulting from wrong
manufacturing.
The Manufacturer may decide to replace the
product, if irreparable or frequented brea-
kdown of the same nature should occur. The
guarantee on the new item will be valid until the
end of the former contract. Guarantee does not
cover defective parts, which ineffectiveness is
the result of negligence in using the product,
(non-observance of the operating instructions),
wrong installation and maintenance or mainte-

nance operated by non-authorized personnel,
handling damages and all the circumstances
that can be attributed to wrong manufacturing.
Guarantee does not likewise cover the instal-
lation and cabling operations, and the routine
maintenance indicated in the instruction bo-
oklet.

mages to people, animals or things, deriving
from the nonobservance of the precautions
indicated in the instruction booklet, and in par-
ticular of the directions relevant to installation,
use and maintenance operations.

waste bin. This indicates that, at the end of its
useful life, it must not be disposed of as do-

nisés pourrait provoquer des émanations toxi-
ques ou un incendie.
