• Use sound sleeper only for its intended purpose.
• Never reach for a product that has dropped into water. Unplug it first.
• Do not use this product in the bathtub or shower.
• This unit is not a toy. Do not allow children to play with it.
• Arrange power cord to minimize the possibility of accidents such as tripping.
• Do not use the power cord as a handle. Never pull on the power cord.
• Do not use the sound sleeper if any signs of deterioration appear on the unit or on the
power cord.
• Never attempt to repair the unit yourself, as it will likely damage the unit. If within the
warranty period, simply return the unit with proof of purchase, and we will gladly repair
it or replace it.
• This power unit is intended to be correctly oriented in a vertical or floor mount position.
• For connection to a supply not in the USA, use an attachment plug adaptor of the
proper configuration for the power outlet.
• Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
• Refer all servicing to qualified personal. Servicing is required when the apparatus has
been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has
been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been
exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

PRIMARY SOUNDS - Summer Night, Rain, Brook, Ocean, Wind, and Womb.
BACKGROUND SOUNDS - Seagull, Bird, Buoy, and Thunder.

BEFORE FIRST USE: Turn the sound sleeper face down. Remove
the 4 AA batteries and slide the small black switch from DEMO MODE to
NORMAL MODE. The demo mode automatically turns off the unit in 10
seconds. The demo mode and batteries are intended for display and
shipping purposes only.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Plug the power cord into the unit and then plug in the AC adapter into a 110V
wall outlet. Do not plug into a 220V AC outlet.
2. ON / OFF / TIMER BUTTON - Slide button to 1 of 3 positions:
a. ON - Plays your favorite sounds continuously.
b. OFF - Stops playing sounds.
c. TIMER - Plays your favorite sounds and automatically turns off in 60 minutes
3. Choose 1 of the 3 different modes available. Depress the mode button and you
will see the light activate under each associated mode.
a. SINGLE MODE - Select single mode, then depress any one of the 10
sounds. The sound will play continuously.
b. COMBINE MODE - Select combine mode, then depress 1 of 6 primary
sounds (dark buttons). Next depress 1 of 4 background sounds (light gray
buttons). You will hear the primary sound continuously with the background
sound appearing every 10-15 seconds.
c. RANDOM MODE - Select random mode, then depress 1 of 6 primary
sounds. You will hear the primary sound continuously with the 4 background
sounds randomly appearing every 10-15 seconds. This more closely
resembles the randomness of nature’s real sounds.
4. HEADPHONES - The sound sleeper may also be used with headphones for
a private listening experience. Simply plug in a pair of compatible headphones
and enjoy. Be sure you are near a pillow as you will likely fall fast asleep!

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
- To reduce the risk of shock, always unplug the unit before cleaning.
- Wipe off with a slightly damp washcloth or sponge. Do not use any cleaning
liquids on it.
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B
digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to
provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation.
This equipment generates uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not
installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference
to radio communication. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not
occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to
radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off
and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the
following measures:
• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
• Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver
• Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the
receiver is connected.
• Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
