DEXIN NDS3522C HD encoder&modulatorisdesignedbasedonconsumer
electronics which allow audio/video signalinputin TV distributions with
applicationsinhomeentertainment,surveillancecontrol,hotelDigitalSignage,
shopsetc.
Itisanall-in-onedeviceintegratingMPEG2encodingandmodulatingtoconvert
audio/videosignalsintoDVB-C/T/ATSC/ISDB-TRFout.
ThesignalssourcecouldbefromSTB,satellitereceiver,closed-circuittelevision
camerasandantennaetc.ItsoutputsignalistobereceivedbyTVsorSTBsetc.

Thenetworkencoderispoweredwithavoltageof12VDC.Thepowersupply
voltagemustnotexceedtherecommendedvoltage,whichotherwisemaycause
irreparabledamagetothedeviceandtheinvalidationofthewarranty.Therefore:
Donotreplacepowersupplywithavoltagegreaterthan12VDC.
Donotconnectthedevicetothepowerifthepowercordisdamaged.
Donotplugthedeviceintomainssupplyuntilallcableshavebeenconnected
correctly.
Donotcutthecord.
Avoidplacingthedevicenexttocentralheatingcomponentsandinareasofhigh
humidity.
Donotcoverthedevicewithelementsthatobstructtheventilationslots.
Ifthenetworkencoderhasbeenkeptincoldconditionsforalongtime,keepitina
warmroomminimum2hoursbeforepluggingintothemains.
Mountthedeviceinverticalpositionwiththeconnectorslocatedonthetopside.

replacementpartsspecifiedbythemanufacturerorhavethesamecharacteristicsas
theoriginalpart.Unauthorizedsubstitutesmayresultinfire,electricshockorother

Incaseofconnectingtoawirednetwork,connecttheencoderEthernetport
andterminal'sEthernetportwithethernetcable.
Incaseofconnectingwirelessnetwork,followingStep2,connecttheencoder
EthernetportandrouterportwithEthernetcable.
Powersupplyconnection:a)Connecttheearthcable;b)Connectthepower
plugtotheunitmainsconnector;c)Connectthepowerplugtothemains
socket.

ensurethatthecomputer’sIPaddressisdifferentfrom theNDS3522C’sIPaddress;
otherwise,itwouldcauseIPconflict.
3.1Login
ThefactorydefaultIPaddressis192.168.0.136anduserscanconnectthedeviceand
webNMSthroughthisIPaddress.
ConnectthePC(PersonalComputer)andthedevicewithanetcable,anduseping
commandtoconfirm theyareonthesamenetworksegment.Forinstance,thePCIP
addressis192.168.99.252,wethenchangethedeviceIPto192.168.99.xxx(xxxcan
be0to255except252toavoidIPconflict).
UsewebbrowsertoconnectthedevicewithPCbyinputtingthedevice’sIPaddressin
thebrowser’saddressbarandpressEnter.
ItwilldisplaytheLogininterfaceasFigure-1.InputtheUsernameandPassword(Both
thedefaultUsernameandPasswordare“admin”.)andthenclick“Login”tostartthe
devicesetting.
