• CD-ROM drive (for driver installation)

Driver Installation
Windows® 98SE
1. Turn on your computer.
2. Place the Driver CD into your CD-ROM drive.
3. Click “Start”, then “Run…”, type “D:\ T-bird Win98Driver.exe” into
the dialog box (NOTE: “D:\” represents the drive letter assigned to the
optical drive you are using. If D is not the letter assigned to your optical
drive, replace D with the appropriate drive letter), then click “OK”.
Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the driver installation.
4. After the driver installation is complete, restart your computer.
5. After your computer has restarted, plug your Link into an available
USB port. Windows® will install the driver for your Link.
6. Restart your computer again if necessary.
7. Your Link is now ready to be used.
Windows® ME, 2000, XP
1. Turn on your computer.
2. Plug your Link into an available USB port. Windows® will install the
driver for your Link automatically.
3. Your Link is now ready to be used.

Using the Link
1. Make sure both computers you want to connect have the driver in-
stalled like in the following “Driver Installation” section of this manual.
2. Connect the computers you want to link via the enclosed USB 2.0
cable and the Link.
3. Double-click on “My Computer”; you will see a “Removable Disk”
icon, double click it.

4. Double-click on the “EasyCN.exe” icon.
5. The following screen will appear.

6. Repeat steps 3–5 for the 2nd computer you want to link. When the
transfer program is complete you will see the following window:
7. Please make sure both computers have permission to access the other
computer’s files by clicking “System”, and select “Setup”.
8. Make sure the “Share as Read Only” checkbox is unchecked for both
computers.

9. You can now transfer files between your two computers by simply
dragging and dropping files between the two linked computers.

Installation der Treiber
Windows® 98SE
1. Schalten Sie Ihren Computer ein.
2. Legen Sie die Treiber-CD in das CD-ROM-Laufwerk ein.
3. Klicken Sie “Start”, dann “Ausführen”, tippen Sie “D:\ T-bird Win98Driver.
exe” in das Dialogfeld (HINWEIS: “D:\” steht für den Laufwerksbuchstaben
Ihres CD-ROM-Laufwerks. Falls D nicht der Buchstabe ist, der Ihrem CD-
ROM-Laufwerk zugewiesen ist, ersetzen Sie es durch den entsprechenden
Buchstaben), klicken Sie dann “OK”. Folgen Sie den Anweisungen auf dem
Bildschirm, um die Installation der Treiber abzuschließen.
4. Starten Sie den Computer neu, wenn die Installation der Treiber abge-
schlossen ist.
5. Nachdem Ihre Computer neu gestartet hat, schließen Sie Ihren Link an
einem verfügbaren USB-Anschluss an. Windows® wird dann den Trei-
ber für Ihren Link installieren.
6. Starten Sie den Computer neu, falls notwendig.
7. Nun ist Ihr Link betriebsbereit.
Windows® ME, 2000, XP
1. Schalten Sie Ihren Computer ein.
2. Schließen Sie Ihren Link an einen verfügbaren USB-Anschluss an.
Windows® wird automatisch den Treiber für Ihren Link installieren.
3. Ihr Link ist nun betriebsbereit.

Link benutzen
1. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die beiden Computer, die Sie mit einander ver-
binden wollen, den Treiber installiert haben, wie im Abschnitt “Installa-
tion der Treiber” dieses Handbuchs beschrieben.
2. Verbinden sie die beiden Computer mit dem beigefügten USB 2.0-Kabel
und dem Link.
3. Doppelklicken Sie “Arbeitsplatz”. Sie werden ein Icon mit der Bezeich-
nung “Wechseldatenträger” sehen, doppelklicken Sie auch dieses.

4. Doppelklicken Sie das Icon “EasyCN.exe”.
5. Die folgende Bildschirm wird erscheinen.

6. Wiederholen sie die Schritte 3 bis 5 für den zweiten Computer, den Sie
verbinden möchten. Wenn das Transfer-Programm abgeschlossen ist,
werden Sie folgendes Fenster sehen:

auf die Dateien des jeweilig anderen Computers zuzugreifen, indem Sie
“System” und dann “Setup” klicken.
8. Stellen Sie sicher, dass auf beiden Computern die Option “Share as
