CHR60 Saddle Stool
Instructions for use
The CHR60 Saddle stool has been Designed to improve the OH&S of anyone who
spends a lot of time seated, particularly carers & attendants of small and special needs
children. For example; Therapists, Teachers and other persons who participate in many
activities at a low level. It is designed to reduce the incidence of back strain and im-
prove the posture of those attending to children at the child’s level.
Activities include for example:
Assisting to walk.
Reading
Feeding etc.
The stool base has five legs each fitted with a twin wheeled castor for optimum stability.
Base is sized to enable close contact with disabled children.
Gas assist seat height adjustment. - Lever operated.
Seat and backrest Angle adjustment. - Lever operated.
Backrest height adjustment. - Manual Adjustment.
Contoured and upholstered seat and backrest for user comfort.
360 degree swivel action.
Australian standards. Although there are no Australian standards specifically for ther-
apy stools, components used are widely used throughout the chair manufacturing in-
dustry and tested components meet test level 6 of AS/NZS 4438:1997- Height adjust-
able swivel chairs. Non tested components meet relevant North American standards.
Recommended maximum user weight 120 kg
Common sense should always be used when working with CHR60 Saddle stools and
particular care should be taken when moving about an area, especially where there are
obstacles and variations in floor surfaces (e.g. joins between vinyl and carpet surfaces).
i.e. Use on uneven surfaces or rolling over lumps or bumps whilst seated can transfer
all the weight through one castor and should be avoided.
The current design has been in use for many years without incident, when used for the
purpose for which it has been designed.
CHR60 Saddle stools are warranted for a period of one year from the date of receipt of the goods.
This warranty covers all parts which will be replaced free of charge (If found to be faulty) upon receipt at
our factory.
