system which allows
the
user
to
connect
any
bag
or
pack
that is part
of
the system
to
another bag
or
link2-3 bags
together.
In order
to
connectone component
to
anotherlookfor the
yellow loop
or
the yellowstitch.
The
slik clip™ (special Duraflex® buckle)will connect the
components.
The
Giraffe ch
est
pack is the main component
of
this
system.
You can attach the Giraffe
to
the Armadillo on it's own
or
combined with a waist pack (Roo-20
or
Toad-20)
if
you
do
so,
use
the
3
sl
ik clip buckles
to
join the yellow loops
on the bottom
of
the
Giraffe (Drawing 5,
E)
to
the yellow
loops on
top
of
the waist pack.
In order
to
assemble the system
for
the first time,
empty
theGira
ff
andthewaistpack andfollow these instructions:
1) Find and disconectthe 3 straps supplied with the
Giraff. (drawing 1)
2) Locate theyellow stitch on the Annadilo's leftshoul
der
strap.( Drawing 2 )
3)Connectthe slik clip buckle (on the end
of
the connecting
strap) to the strap
above
the Yellow stitch.(Drawing
2)

Connect remaining 2 sl
ik
clip buckles

and

to
the
designatedyellow loops on the lowerleftand rightsides
of
the Armadilo ( Drawings 3 and 4)
5)
Put
the empty Annadilo on yourback after adjusting
the backpacksystem.(Detailed instructionson page
5)
6) Connect straps 8
and
C
to
the side release buckles on
thelowerpart
of
theGiraffe (Drawing 5 B,C) then tighten
the 2 straps
to
secure the Giraffe in a conviniant
position.
7) Choose wether
to
thread the buckle strap through one,
two
or
none
of
the
horizontal loops.

If
you are wearing the Giraffewith a
wa
ist packattached,
you can eitherstow
the
waist pack's
be
lt folded behind
the waistpack,
or
slidethe beltbuckles
to
the rear gaps
of
the Armadillo's beta waist belt.

Now
you are all set. All you have
to
do
is open one
siderelease buckle
(8
), and you can take
off
the whole
system withoutchanging
the
adjustments.
