Safety:
This product has been designed with the highest concern for safety.
However, any electrical device, if used improperty, has the potential of causing fire, electrical
shock or personal injury. To help ensure accident-free operation, follow these guidelines:
Stop use and unplug the USB cord immediately if the device functions in an abnormal
manner, produces unusual sounds or smells, or becomes too hot.
Use and Handling
1. Do not expose the LED Message Board to high temperatures, high humidity, or direct sunlight.
2. Do not expose the LED Message Board to dust, smoke or steam.
3. Do not allow small particles to get into the LED Message Board.
4. Do not place the LED Message Board on surfaces that are unstable or subject to vibration.
5. Do not throw or drop the LED Message Board, or subject it to physical shock.
Cleaning:
1. For safety reasons, unplug the USB cord from your computer before cleaning.
2. Wipe gently with a damp cloth, and then dry the surface.
3. Do not use solvents or other chemicals to clean the exterior off the LED Message Board.
General:
1. Should the product exhibit unexpected behaviour, unplug the unit and then restart the
computer.

Installation

Note: Install the software before connecting your LED Message Board.
Note: Using a USB hub or docking station may result in a loss of power. This could create the unit to not work properly. Please plug it directly into the USB port on
your computer.
Installing the Mac program to operate your LED Message Board couldn't be easier. Just follow these simple instructions and you will
be ready to go in no time!

Open the LEDMessageBoard.dmg file and drag the LED Message
Board icon into your Applications folder. Drag the LED Files folder
DOWNLOAD THE LED MESSAGE BOARD SOFTWARE
54 Open your Applications folder and click on the LED Message
Board icon.
A message may appear, telling you this application was
downloaded from the Internet. Click “Open” to start the LED
Message Board program.
Connect the USB cable attached to the LED Message Board to a
USB port located on your Mac prior to running the program.
Click on (software Mac) under the LED Message Board picture
and save the installation disk on your desktop.
Go to www.dreamcheeky.com and click on “SUPPORT & DOWNLOAD”.

The program will start with a Message Board document (.dcmb). You can
create a new document or open a saved one in the File menu.
How to Operate
Make sure to install the software and plug your LED Message Board into a USB port on your Mac prior to operating the unit.

When the LED Message Board program is opened, the LED Message
Board icon will appear in the Dock.
Customize the Message Board document to display your messages.

best on the display at size 9 or 10 and with capital letters.

12. Open image. You can select one of the pictures in the LED Files
folder that comes with the program, or one of your own. Most picture
file types are supported.
13. See the selected image.
14. Close the selected image.

pixels high and 21 pixels wide. The LED Message Board program will
display these images one after the other to form an animation. You
can select an animation folder in the LED Files folder that comes with
the program, or one of your own.

18. Close the selected animation folder.
19. Save document. You can save the Message Board document
(.dcmb) with all its elements to display it later.

1. Add an element to the document.
2. Remove a selected element from the document.
3. Turn document loop on or off.
i) When you display a Message Board document,
you will see the Text, Image, and /or Animation
elements on a plugged-in Dream Cheeky LED
Message Board.
ii) The same elements will also be visible on the simulated LED Display,
which you can open in the Window menu.

4. Use the commands in the File menu - see 1] iii) - to save the
created image or to open one
Any changed made in the LED Display will be shown on a plugged-in
Dream Cheeky LED Message Board. The simulated LED Display will
work without an LED Message Board as well.
