Paper towels and napkins - They are used for heating and short term
decks; these absorb excess moisture and prevent splashing. Do not use
recycled paper towels, which may contain metal and may be lit.
Bowls and glasses made of glass and vitrocerámica - Used for heating
or cooking.
Plates and paper cups - Use for short term heating at low temperatures.
Do not use recycled paper, which may contain metal and may light up.
Wax paper - Use as a cover to avoid splashing.
Thermometers - Use only those labeled "Microwave Safe" and follow all
instructions. Check the food in several places. Conventional thermometers
can be used in microwave foods once the food has been removed from the
oven.
Aluminum foil - Use narrow strips of foil to prevent overcooking of
exposed areas. Using too much foil can damage your oven, so be careful.
Keep the 1 inch (2.54 cm) distance between the aluminum foil and the
cavity.
Ceramics, porcelain and stoneware - Use these if they are labeled
"Microwave Safe". If they are not labeled, try them to make sure they can
be safely used.
Plastic - Use only if it is marked "Safe Microwave". Other plastics can melt.
NOT RECOMMENDED
• Glass Bottles and Bottles - Regular glass is too thin to be used in a
microwave. It may rupture and cause damage and injury.
• Paper bags - These are a fire hazard, except for popcorn bags that are
designed for microwave use.
• Styrofoam plates and cups - These can melt and leave unhealthy
residues in food.
• Storage of plastic and food containers - Containers, such as margarine
tubs, can be melted in the microwave.
• Metal utensils - can damage the oven. Remove all metal before cooking.
Note:
If you want to check if a dish is safe for the microwave, place the empty
dish in the oven and microwave in HIGH for 30 seconds. You should not
use a dish that gets too hot.

6. COOKING TECHNIQUES
Your microwaves make cooking easier than conventional cooking, as long as you
consider these considerations:
• EXCITING
Stir foods like casseroles and vegetables while cooking to distribute heat evenly.
Food on the outside of the dish absorbs more energy and heats more quickly, so
you shake from the outside towards the center. The oven will shut off when the
door is opened to remove food.
• FIX
Organize food unevenly, such as chunks of chicken or chops, with the thicker,
more expensive parts toward the outside of the turntable where they receive more
microwave energy. To avoid burning too much, place delicate areas, such as stud
tips, toward the center of the turntable.
•SHIELD
Shield food with narrow strips of foil to prevent overcooking. Areas that need
shielding include the tips of the poultry wings, the ends of the poultry legs and the
corners of the square baking dishes. Use only small amounts of foil. Larger
quantities can damage the oven.
• TURNED
Turn food halfway through cooking to expose all the pieces to microwave energy.
This is especially important with large foods such as roasts.
•STANDING
Foods cooked in the microwave accumulate internal heat and continue to cook for
a few minutes after the heating stops. Let the foods stop to complete the cooking,
especially foods like cakes and whole vegetables. The roasts need this time to
complete the cooking in the center without overcooking the outer areas. All liquids,
such as soup or hot chocolate, should be shaken or scrambled when the kitchen is
complete. Allow liquids to remain a moment before serving. When heating baby
foods, stir well when removing and test the temperature before serving.

User Manual
MICROWAVE OVEN | ANCONA 23-L
10
• ADD MOISTURE
The energy of the microwave is attracted to water molecules. Foods that are
uneven in moisture content should be covered or allowed to be maintained so that
the heat is dispersed evenly. Add a small amount of water to dry food to help cook
Important: If several speed selectors are pressed at the same time, the unit will opt
for the highest speed. The extractor will stop if no button is pressed.

possibly lead to a hazardous situation.
Please do not dispose of this appliance in the household wastebasket; it
must be disposed of at the disposal center provided by the municipalities.
When the microwave oven is used for the first time with a grill function, it
may produce a slight smoke and odor. This is a normal phenomenon, since
the oven is made of a steel plate coated with lubricating oil, and the new
furnace will produce fumes and odors generated by the combustion of
lubricating oil. This phenomenon will disappear after a period of use
In the oven, water should not be allowed to enter the ventilation openings
