These instructions contain important information about the
installation, operation and maintenance of the pool. Please read
through the instructions carefully before you install your new pool and
take it in use. Keep the instructions for later use. If you are unsure about
anything, do not hesitate to contact Drop’s customer service.

SAFETY
The use of the pool requires you to follow the safety guidelines provided in these
instructions. Be alert, use common sense and make sensible decisions in all water-
related activities.
• Restrict access to the pool for children under the age of 5
to prevent drowning and serious injuries.
• Children are not allowed to use the pool without an
adult present.
• When you use the pool with small children, make sure that
the water temperature is appropriate.
• No diving in the pool. Never jump into the pool. This could
lead to a serious injury or even death.
• Remove the cover completely before entering the pool.
• Do not overheat the water. The highest recommended water
temperature is 37°C.
• If you have a heart disease, keep the temperature below 37°C.
• Donotusethepoolundertheinuenceofalcoholorsuch

is at the user’s own risk.
• Do not bring an electric appliance closer than 2.5 metres of
the pool. Neglecting to keep a safe distance increases the risk
of electric shock and could cause a serious injury or lead to death.
• The surface of the pool can be extremely slippery. Be careful
when you enter or leave the pool.
• Keep any chemicals (e.g. water treatment agents, cleaners and
disinfectants) away from children.
• Keep the cover closed and locked when the pool is not in use.
• Do not stand, sit or lean on or overload the cover.
• Take care of the safety of children in the proximity of the stove.
• The stove and, in particular, its front door and chimney heat up
when used, which can cause a serious injury.

The stove’s safety distances

The stove will not heat up more than the temperature of the water because the
stove is surrounded by a water jacket. However, the stove chimney and door can
heat up to burning hot. We recommend checking the safety distances with your local
authorities.

Pool measurements
The pool package contains a framework made from pressure-treated wood which
has been built to support the pool. The bottom of the framework is built so that the
weight of the pool is distributed evenly across the whole base. If you sink the pool
into a terrace, make the hole in the terrace a few centimetres larger.
BEFORE THE POOL
ARRIVES
The placement of the pool should be planned as carefully as possible to ensure
comfort of use and safety. Place the pool in an open area, if possible. Otherwise,
leaves falling from trees and other dirt will easily end up in the pool water during
bathing. Consider your neighbours if you live in a densely populated area. When
placing the pool, consider where the discharge water will drain, or will you
use e.g. a submersible pump to empty the pool. A pool that is heated up with
a stove must be emptied after each use. Also note the stove’s safety distances
The pool must be installed and stored on its framework. The pool should not rest on
its upper edge, and the upper edge should not rest on, for example, the terrace. The
blueprints are indicative examples of installation.

DROP PISARA
Foundation of the pool
The placement of each pool must be planned according to the situation and place.
The foundation must be even, load-bearing and horizontal. The best foundation
is concrete, gravel, wood or some other hard foundation material. The foundation
must endure a weight of 2,500 kg without sinking or changing. In addition, consider
the impact of frozen ground when planning the foundation as well as keeping a safe
distance from the stove. The blueprints are indicative examples.

The pool is delivered upright on a lorry with a tailboard. Remove the packaging
plastic, cardboard and potential other equipment or parts delivered inside the pool
before turning it to the right position. You need 2–4 people to turn the pool into
the correct position.

INSTALLATION OF
THE POOL
Approximately 4 people are needed to move the pool. Please be extremely careful
when moving the pool to avoid accidents. For example, when you are lowering the
pool into a hole in the terrace, we recommend the use of lifting straps to ensure a safe
installation. Reserve approximately one hour for the installation.
The installer is responsible for the installation, and the buyer is responsible to
ensure that the installation is carried out according to the provided instructions.
Any damage caused by an installation error is not covered by the warranty. The stove
is not integrated into the pool. It is delivered in separate parts with the shipment,
and you must install it by yourself according to the instructions. The customer is
always responsible for carrying out the foundation work for the pool. In addition,
the customer is responsible for installing the stove. The remote-controlled LED
pool lights have already been installed.
Phase 1. Installation of the stove
The stove must be installed on an even, hard foundation and at the same level as the
pool. Make sure that the stove’s upper return hose moves in the direction of the pool
and clearly upwards. The stove must never be connected so that the water return is
turnedobecausethiscreatespressureinsidethestove.
The stove comes with 3 metres of hose. The hoses must be cut to the correct length.
The stove can also be placed further away from the pool, but please note that the
hoses must be straight (no bending). The recommended maximum distance of the
stove with free water circulation from the upper lead-in is one metre. If you place
the stove any further, note that the power weakens the further the stove is placed.

Phase 2. Installation of the stove’s hoses
Before you connect the stove to the hoses, twist the clamps at the ends of the hoses to
openthemalittleandthenrmlypushthehosesonthepipesatthebackofthestove.
You can use liquid soap or some other lubricant to connect the hoses without the use
of excessive force. After this, you can tighten the pipes around the stove’s return and
outgoing connections. To ensure the tightness of the hoses, we recommend using, for
example, duct tape for the installation.
TIP! When attaching the hose, you can heat it with a hot-air gun or a hairdryer which
will make it easier to tighten the paper clips and bend the hose. A heated, softer hose will
also settle better in the connection and become tight at once.

• The control unit’s lights should blink quickly for
approximately three times, after which the pool light will also
turn on.
Insulation cover
The cover is made from polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Avoid vinyl conditioners that
contain silicone, oils or are wax-like as they are particularly harmful for vinyl. Do
not use sharp objects to remove excess weight to avoid damaging the leather of the
insulation cover.
Regular washing with mild general household cleaners lengthens the operating
life and general look of the cover. The cover must be clean when applying vinyl
conditioner. It’s important to remove excess snow on top of the cover in the winters.
Please keep the cover locked when you are not using the pool.
N.B.! The pool’s insulation cover cannot sustain the weight of a human.

the melting of the stove! Before starting the heating process, the pool
must be lled 5 cm above the upper lead-in. Also ensure that the stove
is completely lled with water. If the stove’s circulation has frozen and
blocked up, heating the stove may cause a great pressure and a risk of
injury. Always ensure that the stove’s circulation has not been blocked

Emptying the pool and stove
Remember to empty both the pool and the stove. The bottom of the pool has a
plug, and the side of the pool has an outlet pipe which are used to empty the pool.
The pool can also be emptied with, for example, a submersible pump. If you used
chemicals in the water, the water must always be sewered!
The stove must also be emptied of water by using the base valve at its bottom. Make
sure that there is no water left in the hoses. Do not start emptying the pool before
the re and the embers have fully died down in the stove. When emptying the
pool, leave the cover ajar so that no vacuum is created in the pool.

stove must be completely emptied after use. Do not let water freeze inside the pool!
The pool’s drain plug and the stove’s outlet valve must always be left open so that any
water left in the pool can drain and not freeze in the winter. See further instructions
on page X.
Cleaning the pool and stove
Always wash yourself before entering the pool. We recommend cleaning the pool’s
waterlineregularlyoraftereachusewithamicroberclothtopreventdirtfrom
sticking. Take care of the pool’s cleanliness and hygiene by washing and drying it
carefully and often enough. The entire pool can be cleaned with a soft non-scratch
pool sponge or cloth and mild detergent.
We recommend rinsing the stove’s hoses after each use. After emptying and cleaning,
leave the pool’s drain plug and the stove’s outlet valve open so that all of the water
can drain from the pipes.

Drop tolerates sub-zero temperatures extremely well when empty. The most
important thing in maintaining the Drop pool in the winter time is to make sure the
pipes never freeze.
Regularly remove any snow that has accumulated on top of the cover. At worst, a
heavy layer of snow can even cause the cover to break. In addition, we recommend
keeping the area surrounding the pool and a passage to the pool free of snow so that
it can be taken in use quickly when desired and it will be safe to enter the pool. In the
winter, the area surrounding the pool might be especially slippery when the water
splashing from the pool freezes.

water by using the base valve in its front panel. Make sure that there is no water left
in the hoses. Any water left in the stove or its hoses might damage the stove. Water
frozen in the hoses might cause a dangerous situation when the stove is heated the
following time and the water cannot circulate freely. Cover the pool when it’s not
in use. Prevent snow from getting inside the pool’s framework and make sure that
drainage water does not remain inside the pool’s framework. If the pool is partly
sunk into ground, it’s extremely important to plan the absorption of drainage water
as well as to support and insulate the walls of the pool. In sub-zero temperatures,
store the drain plug in a warm space.
Any damage caused by freezing is not covered by the warranty.
