Always take the following basic precautions before using the Portable air cooler 15L
(hereinafter referred to as ‘device’)
Read the user manual carefully before operation
General information
• Carefully read the instructions for use and store them in a safe location. If you give this
device to other people, please also pass on this manual.
• Only use this device in accordance with instructions in this user manual.
• Do not place the device under any mechanical stress.
• Please handle the device carefully. Jolts, impacts or falls, even from a low height, can
damage the device.
• Prior to use, check the device for visible external damage. Never operate the device if it is
damaged.
• The guarantee will expire immediately if damage has been caused by non-compliance
with this user manual. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by non-
compliance with the user manual, negligent use or use which does not comply with the
conditions of this user manual.
• Keep the device out of the reach of children and pets.
• Keep the device out of the reach of children as this device is not a toy and should be kept
under strict supervision to prevent children from using the device as a toy.
• Keep the device out of the reach of children below the age of 8 years.

Electricity, batteries and heat
• Prior to use, check that the mains voltage is the same as the mains voltage stated on the
name plate of the device.
• WARNING! Do not plug anything else into the same electricity circuit or power wall
socket. If unsure your home meets this specication, consult a certied electrician prior to
the use of this device. Risk of re, overheating, malfunction, property damage, injury or
even death may result from not adhering to this instruction!
• Do not use the device outdoors. Exposure to outdoor elements such as rain, snow, sun,
wind, or extreme temperatures may cause the device to become a safety hazard.
• WARNING! DO NOT COVER: Do not allow foreign objects to enter or block any
ventilation, air inlet or air outlet, openings and never cover the device with cloths or curtains
or any other material, as this may cause electric shock, overheating, re or damage to the
device.
• Make sure your hands are dry before touching the device or power plug.
• Do not use the device if it has a damaged power plug, or if it has become faulty, has fallen
or become damaged in any way. Deliver the device to the manufacturer or the closest
qualied service centre for inspection or repair.
• Only connect the device to an easily accessible power socket, so you can quickly pull the
plug out of the power socket in case of emergency.
• The device must only be powered by connecting the plug to the power socket.
• Do not use any extension cables or socket strips to power the device.
• When plugging in the power plug, make sure people cannot accidentally pull it out or trip
over it.
• Make sure the power cord cannot be trodden on or pinched.
• When removing the plug from the power socket, pull the plug itself, not the cable.
• Do not remove the plug from the power socket, when device is powered on
• Do not allow the power cord to hang over sharp edges and keep it away from hot objects
and naked ames.
• Do not move or store the device until it has cooled down.
• Switch OFF the device and disconnect it from the power socket in case you discover any
faults during use, nd any signs of damage, or if it is not in use or is being cleaned.
• WARNING! Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. This may
become dangerous playing material for children. Risk of suffocation!

• Do not crush, puncture or dismantle the device; this might damage the device.
• Disconnect the device from the power socket during lightning storms or if it will not be
used for long periods of time.
• Do not operate the device using an external time switch or a separate remote control
system.
• Before cleaning the device, always disconnect it from the power socket.
• Do not open the casing as this may result in electric shock.
• Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid, to avoid the risk of electric shocks.
Do not touch the device if it has fallen into water. Disconnect the device from the power
socket with the device switched OFF and do not use it again.
• Ensure that the device does not come into contact with heat sources, such as a hot hob
or naked ame.
• WARNING! To reduce the risk of re or electric shock, protect the device from
dripping or splashing water, and keep it away from objects lled with liquids such as vases.
Such objects should not be placed on or near the device.
• The battery of the remote control can be replaced.
• Do not place the remote control close to products that become hot.
• If the battery leaks, do not allow any battery uid to come into contact with the skin or
eyes. If contact has been made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and
seek medical advice.
• Keep batteries out of reach of children.
• Do not short circuit the contacts inside the battery compartment or any batteries.
• Do not crush, puncture, dismantle the device, otherwise the batteries might get damaged.
• Do not dispose the remote control in a re because the battery could explode.
• Do not expose the device, remote control and batteries to excessive heat sources like
re.
• Do not dispose the device remote control in your household waste, as it contains
batteries. Batteries can be disposed of by taking them to your local recycling station.
Contact your local government ofces for details.
Important information, always follow these instructions for safety
• This device can be used by children aged 8 and over and people with restricted physical,
sensory or mental capacity or a lack of experience and expertise, provided they are under
supervision or have been given instructions on the safe use of the device and are aware of
the potential hazards. Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance
must not be done by children unless they are over the age of 8 and under supervision.
• Only use the device indoors, in dry areas and not in the vicinity of water or any other
liquids.
• WARNING! This device is NOT intended to be used in bathrooms, laundry areas
and similar humid indoor locations.
• Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid. This can cause a fatal electric
shock!
• Switch OFF the device and disconnect it from the power socket when the device is not in
use or is being cleaned.
• Check the device regularly for damage.
• Never use the device if the power plug shows signs of damage, if the device has fallen to
the ground or has any other signs of damage. In such cases, take the device to an expert
for inspection and have it repaired if necessary.

• Never allow children to use the device without supervision. Children are unable to judge
the hazards associated with incorrectly using electric devices.
• Children in the vicinity of the device must always be supervised by an adult.
• Never leave the device unattended whilst it is in use.
• Keep the device air inlets clean so they cannot become blocked with dust or other
particles, thus preventing overheating and malfunction.
3) INSTALLING AND USING THE DEVICE
First use
Open the packaging carefully before taking out the device. Make sure the device is
complete and undamaged. If any components are missing or damaged, contact the vendor
and do not use the product. Retain the packaging or recycle it in accordance with local
regulations.
• Remove all packaging from the device.
• Clean the device with a damp cloth. Please refer to the 'cleaning and maintenance’
section.
• Continue with the procedure in the 'using the device' section.
Mounting the castors
Before using the device, the 4 castors need to be mounted
on the device.
• Spread a soft cloth or mat on the oor.
• Carefully place the device upside down on the cloth or mat.
• Insert each castor by pushing the pin in the hole of the device.
• Make sure the pins are fully inserted in the device.

Using the device
Place the device on a rm and solid surface, in an area with
at least 50 cm of free space around the device, generating a
proper air circulation.
Do not operate the device close to walls, curtains or other
objects that might block the air inlets and air outlet, resulting in
a bad air circulation.

Modes
Power ON/OFF
Connect the device to an easily accessible power socket. When connected, the power LED
indicator on the control panel lights up and a beep sounds.
Press the power ON/OFF button on the device 1 or remote control A to switch on the
device. While pressing, a beep sounds.
When the device is powered on, it starts at medium FAN speed, after 3 seconds it changes
to low speed.
When switching on the device it automatically starts in Normal mode.
To switch off the device, press the power ON/OFF button on the device 1 or remote
control A again. A beep sounds. The power LED stays illuminated on the control panel.
FAN mode
You can ventilate your room. In this mode the air is circulated, creating a ‘breeze feeling’,
but the room will not be cooled.
Press the FAN button on the device 6 or remote control F until the LED indicator lights up
on the control panel.
You can select the required FAN speed as described in “FAN speed”

Remote control
The remote control has a pre-installed lithium CR2025 battery.
Remove the protective tab to activate the remote control battery.
Inserting / replacing the remote control battery:
1) Push the security lock.
2) Pull out the battery tray and remove the old battery.
3) Place a new CR2025 battery into the battery tray with correct polarity (+/-) as indicated.
4) Place battery tray back in the slot.

Breeze mode
You can ventilate your room. In this mode the air is circulated, creating a ‘breeze feeling’,
but the room will not be cooled. In this mode the device will be in FAN – NORMAL – LOW
FAN Speed.
Press the BREEZE button on the device 7 or remote control G until the LED indicator
lights up on the control panel.
Note! When the FAN speed or FAN airow button is pressed, the device automatically
switches to FAN mode.
FAN speed
When the device is powered on, it automatically starts at medium speed, and after 3
seconds it automatically switches to low speed.
Repeatedly press the fan Speed button on the device 4 or remote control B until the
required FAN speed has been selected. There are 3 selectable FAN speeds; low, medium
& high speed.
While pressing, a beep sounds and the selected FAN speed is indicated on the control
panel.
FAN airow
The device has 3 selectable mode functions: normal – natural - sleep.
Press the mode button on the device 6 or remote control F to select the desired mode.
• Normal = regular xed FAN speed
• Natural wind = varying FAN speeds, giving a natural wind breeze with some high-speed
breezes.
• Sleeping wind = varying gentle FAN speeds, giving a natural wind breeze between low
and medium speed.
While pressing, a beep sounds and the selected airow LED indicator lights up on the
control panel.
Swing mode
To control the horizontal direction (up/down) of the airow, adjust the louver in the air outlet
2 by hand.
To control the vertical (left/right) direction of the airow, press the Swing button on the
device 3 or remote control D. While pressing, a beep sounds and the swing LED indicator
lights up on the control panel.
To stop the swing mode, press the SWING button on the device 3 or remote control D
. While pressing a beep sounds and the swing LED indicator switches off on the control
panel.
Cooling mode
Press the Cool button on the device 5 or remote control C. While pressing, a beep
sounds and the LED indicator lights up on the control panel.
When using the device in cooling mode, the water tank needs to be lled with cold
water!
To achieve a longer cooling function, ll the ice packs with water and freeze them before
use.

Filling the water tank:
• Switch off the device and disconnect it from the mains electricity
supply.
• Open the water tank lling 7, so that the tank can be lled by means
of a watering can for instance.
• You can also open the Air/Honeycomb lter 5 to access the water
tank, by pulling it off the device at the top of the lter.
• Add clean fresh water in the water tank (max 15L).
• Place the frozen ice packs 8 for extended cooling performance.
The most convenient way to add the ice packs is by opening the Air/
Honeycomb lter 5.
• Respect the MIN & MAX water levels. There is an indicator at the
front of the device 3.
• Close the water tank lling 7 or place the Air/Honeycomb lter 5
back on the device.
• Do not move the device while operating, to avoid water spilling.
Note!
• DO NOT OPERATE THE COOLING MODE WITHOUT WATER IN THE WATER TANK
• ONLY USE CLEAN FRESH WATER, AND DO NOT ADD ANY ADDITIVES!
• Do not use water above 40°C
Emptying the water tank:
• Switch off the device and disconnect it from the mains electricity supply.
• Remove the plug from the water tank drainage.
• Once the drain plug is removed, the water from the tank will drain from the device.
• Open the Air/Honeycomb lter 5 by pulling it off the device at the top of the lter to
access the water tank, so that you can remove the ice packs from the device.
• Fully dry the water tank.
• Place the plug back in the water drainage 9 and make sure it is well secured.
• Place the Air/Honeycomb lter 5 back on the device.
Timer setting
The timer can be set from 0.5 to 7.5 hours.
Press the Timer button on the device 2 or remote control E to select the desired timer
setting.
Each press will add 0.5 hour to the timer setting and the corresponding LEDs light up on
the control panel.
The timer sequence: 0.5 – 1 – 1.5 - 2 – 2.5 – 3 – 3.5 – 4 – 4.5 – 5 – 5.5 – 6 – 6.5 – 7 – 7.5
– OFF
Cancelling the set timer
Press the TIMER button on the device 2 or remote control E until all the timer LEDs are
switched off.

4) CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Warning
Before cleaning the device, always switch it OFF, disconnect it from the
mains electricity supply.
Cleaning the air lters
It is recommended to clean the air lter monthly when using the device.
Dust collets on the lters and restricts the airow and reduces the efciency
and could even cause damage to the device. The device has 1 air lter
at the rear.
The air lter requires regular cleaning and is removable for easy cleaning.
Warning! Do not operate the device without air lters in place!
It might contaminate the evaporator.
It is recommended to clean the lter by wiping it with a damp cloth.
In case the lter needs more extensive cleaning, remove it from the
device.
• Switch off the device
• Remove the plug from the power socket.
• Remove the Air/Honeycomb lter 5 by pulling it off the
device at the top of the lter.
• Remove the lter from the device.
• Use a clean rag to absorb the surface dust on the lter mash.
If the lter is extremely dirty, use tap water to rinse the lter.
• Fully dry the lter mesh before placing it back in the device.
• Lock the lter back in the device.
Cleaning the device
• Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning materials, cleaning alcohol or sharp objects
like hard brushes or knives.
• Clean the exterior of the casing with a damp cloth.
• Then dry the exterior with a dry cloth.

• The device CANNOT be immersed in water.

• When storing the device, it should rst be cleaned in accordance with this user manual.

children.

• Lees deze instructies vóór gebruik goed door en bewaar ze op een veilige plaats. Als u dit
apparaat aan iemand anders geeft, geef deze handleiding daar dan bij.

• Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat niet wordt blootgesteld aan enige mechanische belasting.

Elektriciteit, batterijen en warmte
• Controleer vóór gebruik of de netspanning gelijk is aan de spanning vermeld op het
typeplaatje van het apparaat.
• WAARSCHUWING! Verbind geen andere apparaten met hetzelfde stroomcircuit

sneeuw, zon, wind of extreme temperaturen kan ervoor zorgen dat het apparaat een

• WAARSCHUWING! NIET AFDEKKEN: Zorg ervoor dat de openingen voor

• Zorg ervoor dat niemand op het stroomsnoer kan gaan staan of dat het snoer anderszins
beklemd kan raken.
• Als u de stekker uit het stopcontact trekt, moet u aan de stekker zelf trekken en niet aan
het snoer.
• Haal de stekker niet uit het stopcontact wanneer het apparaat is ingeschakeld
• Laat het stroomsnoer niet over scherpe randen hangen en houd het uit de buurt van hete
voorwerpen en open vuur.
• Verplaats het apparaat pas en berg het pas op als het is afgekoeld.
• Schakel het apparaat UIT en haal de stekker uit het stopcontact als u tijdens het gebruik
storingen ondervindt, tekenen van beschadiging constateert, het apparaat niet gebruikt of
het schoonmaakt.
• Het apparaat mag niet klem komen te zitten of worden gedemonteerd; hierdoor kan het
beschadigd raken.
• Haal het apparaat uit het stopcontact tijdens onweersbuien of wanneer het gedurende
langere tijd niet wordt gebruikt.
• Gebruik het apparaat niet met een externe tijdschakelaar of een afzonderlijke
afstandsbediening.
• Haal het apparaat altijd uit het stopcontact voordat u het schoonmaakt.
• Open de behuizing niet. Als u dit wel doet, loopt u kans op een elektrische schok.
• Dompel het apparaat nooit onder in water of een andere vloeistof. Zo voorkomt u de kans
op een elektrische schok. Raak het apparaat niet aan als het in water is gevallen. Schakel
het apparaat in dat geval uit, trek het uit het stopcontact en gebruik het niet meer.
• Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat niet in aanraking komt met een hittebron, zoals een hete
kookplaat of open vuur.
• WAARSCHUWING! Om de kans op brand of een elektrische schok te verminderen,
moet u het apparaat beschermen tegen druppelend of opspattend water en uit de buurt
houden van met water gevulde voorwerpen zoals vazen. Dergelijke voorwerpen mogen
niet op of in de buurt van het apparaat worden geplaatst.
• De batterij van de afstandsbediening kan worden vervangen.
• Leg de afstandsbediening niet in de buurt van producten die heet worden.
• Wanneer een batterij lekt, moet u voorkomen dat batterijvloeistof op de huid of in de ogen
terecht komt. Wanneer batterijvloeistof in contact is gekomen met de huid of ogen, moet
het betreffende gebied worden afgespoeld met grote hoeveelheden water en moet u een
arts raadplegen.
• Houd batterijen buiten bereik van kinderen.
• Zorg ervoor dat er nooit kortsluiting optreedt tussen de contactpunten in het batterijvakje
of tussen batterijen.
• Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat niet wordt beschadigd of gedemonteerd; hierdoor kunnen de
batterijen beschadigd raken.
• Gooi de afstandsbediening nooit in een vuur omdat de batterijen kunnen ontploffen.
• Stel het apparaat, de afstandsbediening en de batterijen niet bloot aan extreme
warmtebronnen zoals open vuur.
• Gooi de afstandsbediening van het apparaat niet weg met het huisvuil, omdat deze
batterijen bevat. Breng batterijen naar uw lokale inzamelpunt voor chemisch afval. Neem
contact op met uw gemeente voor nadere informatie.
Belangrijke informatie – volg deze veiligheidsinstructies altijd op
• Dit apparaat mag worden gebruikt door kinderen van 8 jaar en ouder en personen met
verminderde lichamelijke, zintuiglijke of geestelijke vaardigheden of gebrek aan ervaring

en kennis, op voorwaarde dat zij in de gaten worden gehouden en instructies hebben
ontvangen over het veilige gebruik van het apparaat en op de hoogte zijn van de gevaren
ervan. Laat kinderen nooit met het apparaat spelen. Reiniging en onderhoud dienen niet
te worden uitgevoerd door kinderen, tenzij ze ouder zijn dan 8 en onder toezicht staan van
een volwassene.
• Gebruik het apparaat uitsluitend binnenshuis, in droge gebieden en niet in de buurt van
water of andere vloeistoffen.
• WAARSCHUWING! Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld om te worden gebruikt in de
badkamer, in de buurt van wasmachines en andere vochtige plekken binnenshuis.
• Dompel het apparaat nooit onder in water of een andere vloeistof. Dit kan een dodelijke
elektrische schok veroorzaken!
• Schakel het apparaat UIT en trek het uit het stopcontact wanneer u het apparaat niet
gebruikt of wilt reinigen.
• Controleer het apparaat regelmatig op schade.
• Gebruik het apparaat niet als de stekker zichtbaar is beschadigd, als het apparaat op de
grond is gevallen of andere sporen van schade vertoont. In een dergelijk geval moet u het
apparaat door een deskundige laten inspecteren en eventueel laten repareren.
• Laat het apparaat nooit door kinderen gebruiken zonder toezicht. Kinderen zijn niet in
staat de gevaren te beoordelen die gepaard gaan met onjuist gebruik van elektrische
apparaten.
• Kinderen in de buurt van het apparaat moeten altijd door een volwassene in de gaten
worden gehouden.
• Laat het apparaat nooit onbewaakt achter als het in gebruik is.
• Om oververhitting en storing te voorkomen, moet u de luchtinlaten van het apparaat
schoon houden en ervoor zorgen dat deze niet wordt geblokkeerd door stof of andere
deeltjes.
3) INSTALLATIE EN GEBRUIK VAN HET APPARAAT
Eerste gebruik
Open de verpakking voorzichtig en haal het apparaat eruit. Controleer of het apparaat
volledig en onbeschadigd is. Mochten er onderdelen beschadigd zijn of ontbreken, neem
dan contact op met de verkoper en gebruik het product niet. Bewaar de verpakking of
recycle deze zoals voorgeschreven door lokale regelgeving.
• Verwijder al het verpakkingsmateriaal van het apparaat.
• Reinig het apparaat met een vochtige doek. Raadpleeg het onderdeel 'Reiniging en
onderhoud’.
• Ga verder met de procedure in het onderdeel 'Gebruik van het apparaat'.
Montage van de zwenkwielen
Voordat u het apparaat gebruikt, moeten de 4 zwenkwielen op
het apparaat worden gemonteerd.
• Leg een zachte doek of mat op de vloer.
• Plaats het apparaat voorzichtig ondersteboven op de doek of
mat.
• Plaats elk zwenkwiel door de pen in het gat van het apparaat
te duwen.

Afstandsbediening
De afstandsbediening is voorzien van een vooraf geïnstalleerde lithium CR2025-batterij.
Verwijder het beschermlipje om de batterij van de afstandsbediening te activeren.

• Zorg ervoor dat de pennen volledig in het apparaat zijn
gedrukt.
Gebruik van het apparaat
Plaats het apparaat op een stevige en stabiele ondergrond,
in een gebied met ten minste 50 cm vrije ruimte rondom het
apparaat, waardoor een goede luchtcirculatie ontstaat.
Gebruik het apparaat niet in de buurt van muren, gordijnen
of andere voorwerpen die de luchtinlaten en -uitlaat kunnen
blokkeren, waardoor er een slechte luchtcirculatie ontstaat.
Bedieningspaneel
Plaatsen / vervangen van de batterij van de
afstandsbediening:
1) Druk op de veiligheidsvergrendeling.
2) Trek het batterijvakje naar buiten en verwijder de oude
batterij.
3) Plaats een nieuwe CR2025-batterij in het batterijvakje en
let daarbij op de aangegeven polariteit (+/-).
4) Plaats het batterijvakje terug in de sleuf.

Sluit het apparaat aan op een makkelijk bereikbaar stopcontact. Wanneer het apparaat is
aangesloten, gaat het LED-indicatielampje op het bedieningspaneel branden en klinkt er
een pieptoon.
Druk op de AAN-/UIT-toets op het apparaat 1 of op de afstandsbediening A om het
apparaat AAN te zetten. Terwijl u er op drukt , klinkt er een pieptoon.
Na inschakeling, start het apparaat op de middelmatige VENTILATORSNELHEID. Na 3
seconden schakelt het apparaat over naar de lage snelheid.
Wanneer u het apparaat inschakelt, start het automatisch in de Normale modus.
Om het apparaat uit te schakelen, drukt u weer op de AAN-/UIT-toets op het apparaat 1
of op de afstandsbediening A. Er klinkt een pieptoon. Het LED-voedingslampje op het
bedieningspaneel blijft branden.
VENTILATOR-modus
U kunt uw kamer ventileren. In deze modus wordt de lucht gecirculeerd, waardoor het
gevoel van een ‘briesje’ ontstaat, terwijl de kamer niet wordt gekoeld.
Druk op de VENTILATOR-toets op het apparaat 6 of op de afstandsbediening F tot het
LED-indicatielampje op het bedieningspaneel gaat branden.
U kunt het gewenste VENTILATORSNELHEID selecteren zoals beschreven in
‘VENTILATORSNELHEID’
BRIES-modus
U kunt uw kamer ventileren. In deze modus wordt de lucht gecirculeerd, waardoor het
gevoel van een ‘briesje’ ontstaat, terwijl de kamer niet wordt gekoeld. In deze modus staat
het apparaat op de VENTILATOR – NORMALE – LAGE VENTILATORSNELHEID.
Druk op de BRIES-toets op het apparaat 7 of op de afstandsbediening G tot het LED-
indicatielampje op het bedieningspaneel gaat branden.
Let op! Wanneer u op de toets voor VENTILATORSNELHEID of de Luchtstroom van de
VENTILATOR drukt, schakelt het apparaat automatisch over naar de VENTILATOR-modus.
VENTILATORSNELHEID
Na inschakeling, start het apparaat automatisch op de middelmatige snelheid. Na 3
seconden schakelt het apparaat automatisch over naar de lage snelheid.
Druk herhaaldelijk op de toets voor de VENTILATORSNELHEID op het apparaat 4 of op
de afstandsbediening B tot de gewenste VENTILATORSNELHEID is geselecteerd. Er zijn
3 VENTILATORSNELHEDEN die u kunt kiezen: lage, middelmatige en hoge snelheid.
Terwijl u er op drukt, klinkt er een pieptoon en wordt de geselecteerde VENTILATOR-
SNELHEID aangegeven op het bedieningspaneel.

Luchtstroom van de VENTILATOR
Het apparaat heeft 3 instelbare modi: normaal - natuurlijk - slaapstand.
Druk op de modustoets op het apparaat 6 of op de afstandsbediening F om de gewenste
modus te selecteren.
• Normaal = vaste VENTILATORSNELHEID
• Natuurlijke wind = wisselende VENTILATORSNELHEDEN, voor een natuurlijk briesje
afgewisseld met wat snellere briesjes.
• Slaapwind = wisselende zachte VENTILATOR-snelheden, voor een natuurlijk briesje met
een lage tot middelmatige snelheid.
Terwijl u er op drukt, klinkt er een pieptoon en gaat het LED-indicatielampje voor de
geselecteerde luchtstroom op het bedieningspaneel branden.
Zwenkmodus
Om de horizontale richting (omhoog/omlaag) van de luchtstroom te regelen, stelt u de
lamel in de luchtuitlaat 2 met de hand in.
Om de verticale richting (links/rechts) van de luchtstroom te regelen, drukt u op de Zwenk-
toets op het apparaat 3 of op de afstandsbediening D. Terwijl u er op drukt, klinkt er een
pieptoon en gaat het LED-indicatielampje voor zwenken branden op het bedieningspaneel.
Om de zwenk-modus te stoppen, drukt u op de ZWENK-toets op het apparaat 3 of op
de afstandsbediening D. Terwijl u er op drukt klinkt er een pieptoon en gaat het LED-
indicatielampje voor zwenken op het bedieningspaneel uit.
Koelmodus
Druk op de Koel-toets op het apparaat 5 of op de afstandsbediening C. Terwijl u er op
drukt, klinkt er een pieptoon en gaat het LED-indicatielampje op het bedieningspaneel
branden.
Wanneer het apparaat in de koelmodus wordt gebruikt, moet het waterreservoir worden
gevuld met koud water!
Om de koelfunctie te verlengen, moet u de ijspakken vullen met water en ze bevriezen vóór
gebruik.
Vullen van het waterreservoir:
• Schakel het apparaat uit en haal de stekker ervan uit het stopcontact.
• Open het vulpunt van het waterreservoir 7, zodat het reservoir kan
worden gevuld met behulp van bijvoorbeeld een gieter.
• U kunt ook het lucht-/honingraat-lter 5 openen om toegang te
krijgen tot het waterreservoir door het aan de bovenkant van het lter
van het apparaat te trekken.
• Vul het waterreservoir met schoon vers water (max. 15 liter).
• Plaats de bevroren ijspakken 8 om de koelprestaties te verlengen.
De handigste manier om ijspakken te plaatsen is door het lucht-/
honingraat-lter 5 te openen.
• Houd u aan het MIN- en MAX-waterniveau. Aan de voorzijde van
het apparaat zit een indicator 3.
• Sluit het vulpunt van het waterreservoir 7 of plaats het lucht-/
honingraat-lter 5 weer terug op het apparaat.
• Verplaats het apparaat niet tijdens het gebruik. Zo voorkomt u dat er
water wordt gemorst.
