HAX!!
A: Input - This is where you stick the 1/4” audio cable connected to your instru ent.
B: Output - This is where you stick the other cable, connected to a p or other pedals
C: 9v power - 9v DC center negative “boss style” plug
D: Bypass - Turns the effect on and off
E: Expression Pedal Jack - Insert Moog or equivalent expression pedal to adjust tune “G.”
F: HI/LOW - Toggles between high and low frequency range for the oscillator
G: Tune - Tunes the oscillator
H: Crash - Starves the circuit of power resulting in NOISES!
I: Blend - Mixes your clean signal with the oscillator in the HAX
YOUR FIRST HAX SESSION:
1. Connect instru ent to “A”
2. Connect power to “C”
3. Connect “B” to a plifier or other sound reproduction device
4. Set the Blend to 12 o’clock, Crash all the way up,and Tune at 12 o’clock
5. Sto p “D” to engage HAX
6. Sound your instru ent and turn the Blend knob to find a suitable ix
7. Continue to sound your instru ent and turn the Tune knob both ways and fa iliarize
yourself with its range
8. Return Tune to the iddle, and sto p “F” to hear the Hi/Low range
9. Once you are fa iliar, experi ent with Crash. Turning Crash down will ake the pedal
less and less controllable, and ore NOISY!!
10. If you have a suitable expression pedal, insert into“E” to tune the HAX with your foot
SHIT TO REMEMBER:
As with any high gain pedal, always keep a good distance fro your a p to avoid unwanted
noise.
When adjusted to the extre e right, Crash will essentially turn the pedal off.

WARNINGS:
1. Improper power supplies could kill this pedal!!! Only use 9VDC 2.1mm center
negative tip regulated adapter.
2. Read these instructions.
3. Keep these instructions.
4. Heed all warnings.
5. Keep this (and all other electronics) DRY to reduce the risk of fire or electric shock.
6. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other
apparatus (including a plifiers) that produce heat.
7. Protect the power cord fro being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs,
convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit fro the apparatus.
8. Unplug this apparatus during lightning stor s or when unused for long periods of ti e.
9. No user serviceable parts inside. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
Servicing is required when the apparatus has been da aged in any way, such as power-
supply cord or plug is da aged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the
apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or oisture, does not operate nor ally,
or has been dropped.
WARRANTY:
Dwarfcraft is happy to offer a li ited lifeti e warranty on all of our pedals and synthesizers.
Any anufacturing defects or faulty co ponents will be taken care of at no charge to the
custo er, excluding the cost of shipping to our workshop. Dwarfcraft Devices reserves the right
to update any unit returned for repair and to change or improve the design of the product at any
time without notice. Dwarfcraft Devices decisions on repairs and affiliated charges are
WRITTEN IN STONE. We get the last word on all things repair. Please don't ask us to fix
so ething for free after you plug it in with a 12v adaptor.
We are also glad to repair pedals that fall outside of the warranty (think burned out chips due to
the wrong power source), but we will charge you a bit for parts and labor ( ini u $20 bench
fee), and you will be responsible for shipping costs.
What would a warranty be without a few caveats? So here they are:
1. Custo ers ust contact us before they send a pedal in for repair. A quick e ail can often
resolve the proble without sending the pedal in – dwarfcraftdevices@g ail.co
2. Your warranty is VOID if you allow so eone unapproved by Dwarfcraft to ess with
the guts of your pedal. Please do not have a buddy repair your shit. Contact us for all
repairs.
3. Your warranty is VOID if you use the wrong power supply. Only use 9VDC 2.1
center negative tip regulated adapter. Contact us for reco endations.
4. Your warranty does NOT COVER da age fro physical abuse, such as driving over the
pedal, dropping the pedal, hitting the pedal with heavy objects, etc... Use so e co on
sense people.
5. Your warranty is VOID if you send your pedal in covered in blood.
DWARFCRAFT DEVICES SHALL IN NO EVENT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL
OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES SUFFERED BY THE PURCHASER OR ANY THIRD PARTY,
INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS OR BUSINESS, OR
DAMAGES RESULTING FROM USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE PRODUCT, WHETHER IN
CONTRACT OR IN TORT. DWARFCRAFT DEVICES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY
EXPENSES, CLAIMS, OR SUITS ARISING OUT OF THE FOREGOING.
