MAIN DYNO POWER
Many instructions in this guide will require you to connect or disconnect the power to
the dyno as part of the installation process. Use the following steps to connect and
disconnect power to the dyno.
MODEL 200I/250IMAIN DYNO POWER—ABOVE GROUND
Always turn the power off when connecting and disconnecting cables.
1 Use the main breaker to turn power on and off to the dyno.
The main breaker is located inside the CPI door. When the handle is in the down
position all power into the dyno is turned off.
2 Disconnect the power plug to ensure all power has been removed from the dyno
before performing certain installation procedures.

INSTALLING THE HIGH PRESSURE BLOWERS
Repeat the following steps for each blower.
To prevent possible injury, open the CPI door and set the main breaker to
the off position and unplug the dyno. Refer to “Main Dyno Power” on page
3for breaker location.
1Placea1/4-inchthickpolywasheraround the pin on the lower blower arm
assembly.
2 Insert the pin on the lower blower arm assembly into the dyno. The lower blower
arm assembly has a longer pin.
3 Secure the lower blower arm to the dyno using a 3/8-16 x 1.5-inch clamp lever.
4 Place a 1/8-inch thick poly washer around the pin on the upper blower arm
assembly.
5 Insert the pin on the upper blower arm assembly into the lower blower arm.
6 Secure the upper blower arm to the lower blower arm using a 3/8-16 x 3/4-inch
clamp lever.
7 Place a 1/8-inch thick poly washer around the pin on the blower assembly.
8 Insert the pin on the blower assembly into the upper blower arm.
Note: Make sure the motor on each blower is facing out (away from the dyno) and
that the intake is facing in.
9 Secure the blower assembly to the upper blower arm using a 3/8-16 x 3/4-inch
clamp lever.
10 Plug the power cord from the blower into the power source located on the dyno
chassis. Each blower has its own power cord and will plug directly into the dyno
chassis.
11 Activate the blower using the switch on the blower motor. The blowers are
independent of one another; each blower can be turned on and off individually.
Risk of injury. Eye protection required. Be aware of debris from blowers.
Be sure the blowers are free and clear of any obstruction. The blowers can
run at any time once the cord is plugged into a power source.

ROUTING THE BLOWER CABLES
Use the following instructions along with Figure 7 on page 12 for routing and
connecting the blower cables. For more detailed cable routing instructions, refer to the
In Ground Model 250iP Motorcycle Dynamometer Installation Guide P/N 98200053
and the i-Dyno Wiring Schematic P/N 98200082 for additional wiring information
and schematics.
1 Route each high pressure blower cable from the CPI through the designated
power pit conduit, through the pit, and into the junction box.
2 Connect the cables from each blower to the AC sockets on the junction box.
3 Use the blower extension cable for the blower furthest from the junction box. Plug
the power cord from this blower into the supplied blower extension cable and into
the AC socket located at the junction box.
